  • The study aims to predict the behavior of tourists in Hadong County, which is registered as KIAHS. Based on the theory of planning behavior, we intend to verify the theory of planned behaviour, which adds descriptive parameters of the perceived value and prior knowledge of an agricultural heritage. In detail, first, the perceived value and prior knowledge of tourists about an agricultural heritage understand the influence of tourists' Attitude. Second, we could see the role of the behavioral factors in the causal relationship of the planned behavioral theory. We have identified the planned behavioral theory that attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptual behavior controls affect the intention of the revisit. Hadong should remember that by sending and providing various information about Hadong Green Tea and World Agricultural Heritage sites, it is possible to elicit changes in visitor attitudes and revisit visits.

A questionnaire was distributed to BIP Festival visitors from May 18 to 27, 2018. A total of 167 responses were subject to be analyzed. Descriptive statistics analysis was mainly used and focused on describing the results in direct to explain the BIP Festival as a garden tourism. The number of female visitors and those in their 40s and 50s was high. Most of the visitors were found to live in other cities or counties near the area where BIP Festival was held and to prefer festivals held on the theme of nature and local features. The revisit rate and awareness of BIP Festival were 52.1% and 72.5% respectively. They mainly obtained the information on BIP Festival from people around them including family members, friends and colleagues, or from the Internet. Most answered that BIP festival was the most important destination on their trip. The major motives of BIP Festival visit included "spending quality time with family or friends (34.1%)", "appreciating Iceland poppy and gardens (25.6%)", and "enjoying oneself (tranquility, mental rest, etc.; 21.3%). As a companion, family and friends/colleagues accounted for 62.3% and 26.3% respectively. Most were found to spend 1-2 hours on visiting BIP festival and stay in Hadong county for a quarter of a day. In satisfaction of BIP Festival itself, "display and maintenance of Iceland poppy (3.76)" and "easiness of viewing (places arrangement, path, etc.) (3.57)" were high. • In 2020, Yi Hunwoo was discovered as one of the earliest modern architects in Korea. However, his personal life was yet mostly unknown, including the time of his death. The research team ('the team' hereafter) searched for the records of his personal life and professional career. First, his family genealogical chart revealed that he died in 1937. Having located and contacted Yi's direct descendents, the team was able to clarify his family background with the descendants' testimonies. They possess the photographs of him and his family members, including Yi's picture when he was a freshman at the Nagoya Higher Technical School in Japan. The team also identifies his birthplace and the location of his grave as Hadong, Gyeongsangnamdo, Korea. The team visited his project site in Jinju, Gyeonsangnamdo, Korea and obtained more detailed information about the Ilshin Girls' High School, which he designed in 1928. Gyohoan, the congregation records of Cheondogyo, one of the leading religions in Korea during Yi's times, confirmed that he was one of the congregation members. The field research also discovered the house he designed and built in his hometown of Hadong, probably the only surviving architectural project by him. This paper is to report the result of the research on Yi's life and career with the aim of providing materials for further studies in identifying and positioning him more properly in the early 20th century Korean architectural scene.

  • The ordering organizations of civil engineering project manage the construction site indirectly because the construction site is mostly located at a remote location and the public official also manages many sites. Since the civil engineering project has a wide working area, it is not easy to know the status of the whole project quickly by the indirect management method by report of the field practitioner. In order to solve these problems, the field management system between the ordering organization and the field office is changing from offline to online. This study suggests an advanced construction site management system that obtains site-related 3D information with the use of UAV and shares the information between the construction site in remote locations and their supervising authorities. To develop an UAV application system, the problems of field management in many actual sites were analyzed and derived necessary functions such as status reporting and online information management. The developed system was applied to actual field to verify its usability and compared the efficiency improvement with existing field management method.
