"지난해 5월 8일 본사의 합병계획이 발표됐다. 한국은 5월 22일부터 시작돼 3개월이 시각이 흘렀다. 합병 발표후 각 사의 제품과 테크놀로지의 통합에 초점을 맞췄다. 한국HP와 컴팩코리아가 통합되면서 1400여명이 1조9000억원 매출을 달성하는 조직의 수장을 맡게 된 최준근(50) 사장은 최근 'hp-way'로 유명한 사내게시판(무기명 견해 작성)을 찾는 횟수가 일주일에 한번 수준에서 매일로 바뀌었다고 한다. 합병 후 직원들의 심리를 조금이라도 더 파악하기 위해서다. '인사가 만사임을 느낀다'는 최사장을 만나 합병3개월간의 얘기를 들어보았다.

This paper is concerned with formulations of the hierarchical $C^{o}$-plate element on the basis of Reissner-Mindlin plate theory. On reason for the development of the aforementioned element is that it is still difficult to construct elements based on h-version concepts which are accurate and stable against the shear locking effects. An adaptive mesh refinement and selective p-distribution of the polynomial degree using hp-version of the finite element method we proposed to verify the superior convergence and algorithmic efficiency with the help of the clamped L-shaped plate problems.s.

This paper deals with development of 35hp Electric Tractor. First, Motor and inverter are designed and manufactured suitable for the 35hp diesel tractor. Then these are apply to electric tractor. Also, We confirm performance of electric tractor as driving and field operating test.

Herba Patriniae(HP) has been known to exert anti-inflammation and -tumoral activity in Korea. However, its molecular mechanism of action is not understood. In this study, we found that HP extract induced apoptosis in androgen-dependent prostate cancer LNCaP cells as evidenced by DNA fragmentation. Our data demonstrated that HP extract-induced apoptotic cell death was accompanied by inhibition of NF- κB activation, lowering effects of intracellular prostate specific antigen(PSA) and androgen reoeptor(AR) expression in a time dependent manner. Taken together, HP extract may inhibit the proliferation of prostate cancer LNCaP cell associated with inhibition of NF- κB activation, PSA and AR expression and that of apoptosis.

Large superconducting magnets such as ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Research) or KSTAR (Korean Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research) magnet system adopted a cable-in-conduit conductor (CICC) using a forced-flow cooling system. Main optimization criteria for the conductor design of superconducting magnet system are stability margin and CICC cooling requirements. A zero-dimensional method is applied for the calculation of stability and the conductor optimization. In order to increase conductor performance, three different strands, ITER HP-I and HP-II, and KSTAR HP-Ⅲ, are tested. The strand characteristics of KSTAR HP-Ⅲ are measured in the Samsung's PPMS and Jc measurement system, and applied for this study. Also, the strand diameters, 0.81 mm and 0.78 mm are considered for this study, due to design change. Based on this result, the proposed configuration of CICC has been fabricated.

This study is intended to investigate the influence of chemical admixture on bleeding of concrete. According to the results, the amount of bleeding with elapse of time does not make much difference in the case of naphthalene type water reducing agent(RN), Naphthalene type high performance water reducing agent(HN) and Melamine type high performance water reducing agent(HM), but it is largest in the case of Polycarbonic acid type high performance water reducing agent(HP). Bleeding speed also is highest in the case of HP in comparison with other chemical admixture. This prove that high performance water reducing agent like HP has little effect on fluidity of concrete, but influences the amount of bleeding more greatly, instead. As properties of hardened concrete, compressive strength makes no difference in the case of RN, HN and HM, but on the other hand, it increases in the case of HP due to a decrease of air content and the large amount of bleeding.

we consider the hp-version to solve non-constant coefficients elliptic equations $-div(a{\nabla}u)=f$ with Dirichlet boundary conditions on a bounded polygonal domain $\Omega$ in $R^2$. In [6], M. Suri obtained an optimal error-estimate for the hp-version: ${\parallel}u-u^h_p{\parallel}_{1,\Omega}{\leq}Cp^{(\sigma-1)}h^{min(p,\sigma-1)}{\parallel}u{\parallel}_{\sigma,\Omega}$. This optimal result follows under the assumption that all integrations are performed exactly. In practice, the integrals are seldom computed exactly. The numerical quadrature rule scheme is needed to compute the integrals in the variational formulation of the discrete problem. In this paper we consider a family $G_p=\{I_m\}$ of numerical quadrature rules satisfying certain properties, which can be used for calculating the integrals. Under the numerical quadrature rules we will give the variational form of our non-constant coefficients elliptic problem and derive an error estimate of ${\parallel}u-\tilde{u}^h_p{\parallel}_{1,\Omega}$.

본 논문에서는 XNA Framework 기반의 모바일 게임 History Adventure를 설계하고 구현한다. 이 모바일 게임은 영웅별 3개의 스테이지 구성되어 있으며 각 단계별로 각 나라를 대표를 하는 영웅들과 전쟁의 발발 원인에 대한 퀴즈 풀이를 진행한다. 이때 정답을 선택하면 HP를 공급하고 실패하면 정답을 알려줌으로써 게임과 학습을 함께 할 수 있다. 영웅들이 적을 격파하지 못하고 적선이 통과를 하게 된다면 HP(Hit Point)는 감소하고, 적선을 격퇴하면 난이도가 높은 스테이지로 이동한다. 게임중에 일정 점수를 획득하면 보너스 코인과 HP를 지급한다. 지급받은 코인 및 HP는 현재 스테이지를 수행하고 다음 스테이지로 이동해도 유효하다. 적의 보스를 처리할시 실제 전쟁의 결과를 알려주면서 다음 단계로 이동한다.

Monascus purpureus recombinant mppC and mpp7 knockout strains were subjected to extractive fermentation in the context of azaphilone pigment production. Inclusion of Diaion HP-20 resin resulted in the selective production of unreduced azaphilone congeners, in addition to the early intermediate FK17-P2a, from ${\Delta}mppC$ and ${\Delta}mpp7$ strains that would otherwise mainly produce reduced congeners. Structural determination of two novel unreduced azaphilones from the ${\Delta}mpp7$ strain was accomplished. The unreduced azaphilone compound was converted into the cognate reduced congener in recombinant M. purpureus strains, demonstrating its intermediate role in azaphilone biosynthesis. This study demonstrates the possibility that extractive fermentation with Diaion HP-20 resin can be used to obtain cryptic azaphilone metabolites.

High-pressure (HP) NMR is a powerful method to elucidate various structural features of amyloidogenic proteins. Following the previous mini-review recapitulating the HP-NMR application for amyloid-β peptides of the last issue [J. H. Kim, J. Kor. Mag. Reson. Soc. 26, 17 (2022)], the recent advancements in the HP NMR application for α-synuclein (α-Syn) are briefly summarized and discussed here. Although α-Syn is a well-known intrinsically disordered protein (IDP), several studies have shown that it can also exhibit heterogeneous yet partially folded conformations, which may correlate with its amyloid-forming propensity. HP NMR has been a valuable tool for investigating the dynamic and transient structural features of α-Syn and has provided unique insights to appreciate its aggregation-prone characters.
