  • In this study, we deal with a multivariable system which its input and output are coupled. This study presents a method for designing a controller which allows a coupled system to be transformed to a decoupled system in a standard model adopting 2DOF controller. And Wiener-Hopf($H_2$) approach is used so that the designed controller can minimize given cost function.

  • This paper describes the design and the performance analysis of an Ha controller for noncollocated active vibrating systems. An experiment for the active vibration control of a flexible structure is performed. The experimental model used is a cantilever beam controlled by an active damping system consisting of a laser sensor and an electromagnetic actuator. The $H_2$ controller design is based on the reduced order model and the designed system is capable of attenuating vibration without causing spillover instability, The design procedure to prevent spillover instability is described via the sensitivity analysis. The performances of the controller are verified by experimental results.

  • Compare with diode or thyristor bridge AC/DC converter, the 3 phase PWM converter has some merits of low THD and unit power factor. So, in many critical application like as UPS, using PWM converter is the trends. 3 phase PWM converter had been studied widely already. But analytical design procedure can not found from publication for hardware design and controller design. So, in this paper, 3 phase PWM converter analysis review was given. And from the DC analysis result, parameter design was done. From the AC model, the voltage controller and current controller was designed. The gain of controllers was calculated by analytical method.

  • A transmitting antenna mounted on the naval vessels can be easily exited by exogenous disturbances such as wave and impact. Gimbal system need for the controller to maintain the robust performance against various modeling uncertainties and disturbances. PI controller, however, cannot supply good robust performance under situation. Thus a robust $H_{\infty}$ control scheme is used to ensure a specified dynamic response under above conditions. Gimbal system controlled simplified as 2 DOF system that ignored coordinate co-relations of each direction and hydraulic system is linearly modelled. In this paper, we compared those of simulation to the results of experiment and H$_{\infty}$ controller, proposed, showed the good response and stability than PI controller.

  • This article suggests an inverse kinematics analysis of a two degree of freedom spatial parallel motion simulator and design methodology of the robust PID controller. The parallel motion simulator consists of a fixed base and a moving frame connected by two serial chains, with each serial chain containing one revolute joint and two passive spherical joint. First, an inverse kinematics problems are solved in order to find the joint variable necessary to bring the end effector to track the desired trajectory. Second, an inverse optimal PID controller is proposed to track trajectories in the face of uncertainty. And the $H_{\infty}$ optimality and robust stability of the closed-loop system is acquired through the PID controller. Finally numerical results show the effectiveness of the PID controller that is designed by square/linear tuning laws.

  • 농촌 노동력의 급격한 감소 및 고령화에 따라 저가의 농업로봇의 개발이 시급한 과제가 되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 농업용 방제 로봇의 H/W제어구조 및 S/W 플랫폼 개발에 대하여 기술한다. 개발된 로봇은 2 축의 캐터필러형 구동부와 2축의 방제기구 제어부를 구동부로 갖추고 있다. H/W 제어구조로써, 임베디드 XPE 기반 로봇 제어부, 원격 조종부, 그리고 센서 제어부로 구성된다. SW 플랫폼에서는 태스크 매니저, 원격 영상 및 데이터 통신을 위한 TCP-IP 통신 프로세스, 구동부 제어 프로세스, 위치 및 환경 인식 프로세스, 센서제어부 프로세스 등 5개의 프로세스가 동시에 동작한다. 개발된 농업용 원격 방제로봇을 필드테스트를 통하여 유용성을 시험하였다.

  • In the industrial motor drive system which is composed of a motor and load connected with a flexible shaft, a torsional vibration is often generated because of the elastic elements in torque transmission. To solve this problem H$_{\infty}$ controller was designed. In this paper, H$_{\infty}$ control of 2-mass system using H$_{\infty}$ filter for compensating shaft torque is proposed. Pole-zero maps show the validity of proposed controller.

  • This paper presents a solution of the $H_{\infty}$ control problem for linear systems with input time delay. $H_{\infty}$ norm bounded condition is obtained as a sufficient condition for linear systems with input time delay. Based upon this sufficient condition, an $H_{\infty}$ controller design method which involves the solutions of linear matrix inequalities via convex optimization is developed.

  • This paper deals with the design of a low order $H_{\infty}$ controller by using an iterative linear matrix inequality (LMI) method. The low order $H_{\infty}$ controller is represented in terms of LMIs with a rank condition. To solve the non-convex rank-constrained LMI problem, a linear penalty function is incorporated into the objective function so that minimizing the penalized objective function subject to LMIs amounts to a convex optimization problem. With an increasing sequence of the penalty parameter, the solution of the penalized optimization problem moves towards the feasible region of the original non-convex problem. The proposed algorithm is, therefore, convergent. Numerical experiments show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • In this paper, we propose the design method of fuzzy robust H$\infty$ controller for the uncertain nonlinear discete-time systems with time delay. First, we represent a nonlinear plant with a modified T-S(Takagi-Sugeno) fuzzy model. Then design method utilizing the concept of PDC (parallel distributed compensation) is employed. For the modified T-S fuzzy model with uncertainty and delay, the sufficient condition of the quadratic stabilization with an H$\infty$ norm bound is presented in terms of Lyapunov stability theory and fuzzy robust H$\infty$ controller design method is given by LMI(linear matrix inequality) approach. Also an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the result of the proposed method.
