Object-Oriented Stereotactic Radiosurgery Planning System (객체 지향 개념을 이용한 뇌정위 방사선 수술 계획 시스템)

  • In this paper, we present an object-oriented stereotactic radiosurgery planning system, which accepts medical images such as CT and angiography, transforms the coordinates to a reference frame coordinate, calculates dose distributions, and finally displays isodose curves over the images. The user finds an adequate one for radiosurgeries after performing computer simulations on different treatment parameter sets. The object-oriented design concept was fully applied to the system composed of seven manager objects of different classes: a patient information manager, a user-interface manager, a coordinate transformation manager, a blackboard manager, a dose calculation manager, an isodose curve display manager, and a report manager. All the user interactions are carried out through the use of mouse buttons. The performance of the system was verified by four physicians and two medical physicists, and now is being used in two clinical sites.

  • IoT is a kind of business means to maintain the scenario in aware of the situation with the user's through collaboration for M2M have intelligence to each appliance is of machine socializations. The existing IoT Progress from one situation one control of through a simple sensor data, mean from machine socialization is regulate and control on overall the flow of machine manager to solved a scenarios as the situation. In this paper, suggest schema for to apply the M2M of SNS of existing H2H, suggest is schema in information each appliance in solve scenario for machine manager.

Performance of Business Incubator According to Operating System and Manager Characteristic (창업보육센터 운영시스템과 매니저 특성에 따른 성과에 관한 연구)

  • To derive an efficient operating system for business incubators, this study examined the operating performance according to incubator operating system and incubator manager. The survey targets were tenants of business incubators and factor analysis. Regression analysis was performed according to the reliability analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and parameter using the 19 Ver program SPSS analysis. As a result, the business incubators and business incubators operating system were found to be an important factor and among these, the H / W and system S / W systems were identified as significantly influential factors. On the other hand, this hypothesis of the performance of the support system and characteristics of the incubator manager was rejected for the variable parameters, which always appear to influence the other characteristic factors of the manager. Operational performance can be divided into an incubator performance center and tenant's performance, and the performance of the tenants were analyzed by the significant effect on the managers characteristics.

  • This study was carried to devise comprehensive policies for systematically fostering the eligible farmers in Korea based on their vocational developing stages such as potential stage in juvenile days, preparing stage in agricultural schools and colleges, farm worker stage under farm manager, ownership farming stage and professional farm manager stage. Of course all of these developing stages are not necessary but desirable processing to be a good farmer. At least more than two stages are necessary to be a professional farm manager. In order to systematically foster the eligible farmers as many as demanded in Korea, appropriate policies in the every stage should be devised. As the result of this study, several programs were sugested as the appropriate policies such as development of school 4-H program in potential stage, scholarship program in preparing stage, supporting programs for the farmhouse-hold having a family's farm management agreement, development of the instalment savings program for the young farm workers and farmer's certificate program, etc.

  • We introduce Location PDA Program which is a mobile system to display current location on PDA. The current location is calculated based on collecting location through each fixed node. Each fixed node sends location information of mobile node to Cell Manager system. And then, Cell Manager calculates final location based on related information and sends it to every mobile system which is connected to server and displays current location.

Ergonomics Risk-Assessment Methods in Shipbuilding: Application of OWAS Considering Work load and Frequency for Risk Factor Analysis of WMSDs

  • Objective: The aim of this paper is to introduces Hyundai Heavy Industry's ergonomic risk assessment tool, H-OWAS, which is considering work load and frequency compared to the OWAS. Background: As prevalence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs) in ship building industries has been much higher than that in other industries, most of the large scaled corporations have implemented their own prevention program since legislation on the prevention of WMSDs had introduced in 2003. Method: This paper introduces WMSDs prevention program, HEMP(HHI Ergonomics Management Program) which consists of risk assessment, improvement efforts of working environments, medical treatment and training/evaluation and describes how to operate the program. We also describe application of OWAS method considering work load and frequency for risk factor analysis(H-OWAS) and shows methodology for assessing the ergonomic risk factor. And comparison of the assessment results between OWAS and H-OWAS is carried out by statistical analysis. Result: There was statistically significant difference in the assessment results between OWAS and H-OWAS, and regression shows H-OWAS explains the borg's scale of perceived exertion more clearly than OWAS. Conclusion: H-OWAS has been proved more effective tool than OWAS to evaluate ergonomic risk factor under real working condition. Application: H-OWAS can be widely applied to the many other companies when implementing the ergonomics risk assessment.

  • According to the structural contingency theories, organizational structures are determined by such a contingency variables as organizational environment, technology, size, power and strategy. Therefore, many scholor believed that organizational effectiveness will be maximized in the condition of the fit between organizational structure and its contingency variables. But contingency theories have limitations in explaining of the manager's discretion by way of environmental determinism. In 1972, Child introduced strategic choice theory, and this perspective spurred significant, systematic studies of the influence of the managerial voluntary will on the organizational performance. Especially, the question of whether tap managers have an impact on business performance has been addressed by the strategic leadership theory that demonstrates strong associations between the characteristics of top managers, strategic orientation. Therefore, this study has investigated a theoretical literature and an empirical survey that explains the impact of top manger characteristics and organizational characteristics about strategic orientation. In order tn do that, this study develops a research model on the subjects, designed manager's characteristics, strategic typology. Managerial characteristics could be operationalized in terms of demographic measures. In this study, strategic orientation was classified using the Miles & Snow typology. This research model provides hypotheses. Hypotheses H1: The demographic characteristics of the tap manager will differ according to the types of strategic types. H2: The organizational characteristics of the firm will differ according to the types of strategic types. To test these hypotheses, this study conducted questionaire surveys on 108 firms in the Korea national wide. This study has utilized ANOVA, Chi-square analysis, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis for testing the hypotheses. The major findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, this study builds on the central tenent of cotingency theory in provide a comprehensive explanation of the process by which top manager's influence. Second, Manager's characteristics(demographics) are different from each other according to 4 strategic types(Prospector, Defender, Analyzer, Reactor). Third, Organizational characteristics are different from each other according to 4 strategic types. In conclusion, the major contributions of this study are to examine the development of a more comprehensive theoretical framework in the strategic leadership theory and to analyze their contingent relationships among managerial characteristics, organizational characteristics and strategic types in the context of Korea's industry.
