The present study eluciciated the effect of water holding matter on emergence and survival of forage grasses in seedling and early growth stage. Vermiculite was used as u7ater holding matter. Experiment was conducted with 2 treatments, soil only and soil with 3% vermiculite. The results obtained were as follows: Most of character related to emergence and early growth were improved clearly by adding vermiculite. Specially, root growth was increased when vermiculite was added in soil. Survival percent at drought stress condition was also improved by adding vermiculite. Rut the amount of water keeping by verm~culite was not much.

Irregular shapes and growth behavior of surface micro-crack showed very complex and nonlinear propeties and many investigators have performed theoretical analysesand experiments on them to characterize fatigue strength. They had difficulties in estimating fatigue life due to random distribution, growth and coalescence of surface micro-cracks. The straightness of crack growth along intergranular and transgranular was prevented from irregular microstructure and precipitates. Euclid geometry can't quantify shape of surface micro-crack but ftractal geometry can. Therefore, it is suggested that average fractal dimension of surface micro-cracks is able to estimate fatigue life but fractal dimension of maximum surface micro-crack is not in Al 2024-T3 alloy.

In these experiments Gamiojeoksan remnant components were analyzed to recycle this medicinal herb remnant fertilizers. The basic growth of Korean mint by application of Gamiojeoksan remnants were higher than control. As the amount of fertilizers were increased, plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves and number of branches were increased. The growth and yield were the highest in the treatment of 30 g/pot. Weight of whole plant of Korean mint has a tendency to be heavy in application of herbs remnant than that of control.

The purpose of this study was to investigate for gifted elementary students in science the feature of character, life goals and happiness, and the effect relationship on happiness based on the relationship between factors. For this, independent t-test, multi-linear regression analysis and hierarchical regression were conducted. The results from this study are as follows. First, scientifically gifted elementary students show higher level of responsibility, ethics, positive self-understanding and contribution goal, but lower in material and image goal than general students. Second, character, life goal and happiness are correlated. Third, female students rather than male students and students with consideration/service character have intrinsic goals. While, the students with higher level of consideration/service and lower level of sympathy show extrinsic goals. The higher the level of consideration/service and the lower of self-control they have the higher their happiness are. Fourth, as scientifically gifted elementary students have more consideration and relationship goal, their happiness go up. While, the more they have self-growth and material goal, the lower the happiness. Fifth, the character of scientifically gifted elementary students is the factor that explains the effect on happiness more easily than life goal, relatively. The factor of life goal mediates the consideration/service and happiness. In conclusion, I hope that this study contribute to raise the happiness of scientifically gifted elementary students, and considerate the character education and counseling program for character development.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of a single-session, positive psychology-based, strength-enhancing workshop for psychiatrists. The program is composed of lecture about positive psychology and workshop activities for identifying and utilizing character strengths. Methods : A total of 42 psychiatrists participated in this study. The program consisted of a lecture about positive psychology and workshop activities for identifying and utilizing character strengths. Results of a positive resources test, given before and after the session, were used to assess changes in the personal positive resources of the participants as a result of the program. Results : We noted significant increases in participants' satisfaction with life, positive affect, gratitude, acceptance, positive and cognitive emotion regulation, orientation of life, growth, spirit, autonomy, social support, and care factors after completion of the program. On additional analysis, spirit and care scores of female participants's were significantly increased than male participants's. Conclusion : The findings are meaningful in verifying the efficacy of a short-term intervention to improve psychiatrists's positive resources.

This paper examines how the design of female characters in Disney animations is evolving over time, and explores whether these changes are related to the social status of women in modern society. We analyze in detail how Disney's female character design has undergone changes in form, characteristics, and personality with the transition from 2D animation to 3D animation, and show that the change in perception of women in modern society is behind this change. It shows. It deals with changes in the design and personality of female characters, focusing on major Disney animation works before and after 2010. Starting with the movie <Rapunzel>, released in 2010, female characters showed stronger and more active characteristics and changed from traditional Disney princesses. Disney is bringing about this social change by breaking away from the image of an independent woman and showing the growth process of overcoming hardships based on one's abilities and the support of one's family, as well as the increasing number of female characters of various races and appearances. The conclusion was reached that it shows a conscious and active willingness to accept it.

This study defined the animation space as the concept of map based on the space of Joseph Campbell's heroic narrative. The space in which the animated character exists is an image symbolic language that reflects the inner and outer growth stages of the hero. I focused on the spatiality that plays the role of the power to lead the narrative and examined the meaning as the mediator that leads the heroic narrative. First, 6 spatial variables were derived by observing 'Hero's Journey 'which is used as a basis of US commercial animation scenario. Second, spatial variables are defined as 64 zones and proposed as 'Spatial Map Model of the Hero's Journey' (SMMH). Third, the character space of was applied to 'SMMH', and the change of space utilization rate and spatiality and the narrative meaning were analyzed. This study extended the narrative of animation space which was not actively studied to map concept. It is possible to provide a different viewpoint in animation production and research.

In salt-preserved foods of every kinds, it was examined the growth condition of halophilic bacteria that induced a change of colour, taste, nutritive substance, a production condition of enzyme and a character of crude enzyme. Used bacteria is H. halobium a kind of extremely halophilic bacteria, and the required of optimum culture needed a quite long time of crude enzyme production is 168 hours. Optimum pH is about 7-7.5, so the traditional food of such neutrality pH as soybean paste and soy sauce particularly come into trouble because the growth can flourish in neutrality or alkaliescence, and the crude enzyme also appeared that best activation between pH 6 and pH 8. The optimum temperature is about 37$^{\circ}C$, the optimum temperature of enzyme is about 40 $^{\circ}C$ and the temperature stability is settled for 15 minutes and it is completely inactivated at 10 minutes. In the influence of each metal ion, Fe++ and Mn++ a stimulated the growth of H.halobium and the activation of enzyme, Cu++ and Zn++ were identified that made the growth and the activation of enzyme inhibit.
