The health care environment becomes more competitive every day. It has fallen to nurse managers - from vice presidents of patient care to nurse managers and their assistants - to recruit and develop a workforce that successfully meets the needs of both patients and the organization. This means employees who demonstrate advanced critical thinking skills, creative problem solving, and sound decision making skills combined with clinical skills and patient advocacy. The environment which nurse managers create and the way they relate to their workforce, are pivotal to organizational viability. Especially leadership of first -line nurse managers contributes to the success of their organizations. First-line nurse managers are deserved to be one of the most administrative supervisors through the middle stratum in a hospital organization as being a manager in the field service if assessed from the overall aspects of hospital, as being an interim managers in the nursing department as well as being a supreme supervisor in a unit in terms of an organizational structure in the hospital. Similarly, as a compete leader, the first-line nurse managers have not only a professional which is qualified to perform a role of appropriate coordination with medical staff and key personnel but also hold an important key position a being responsible for performing his or her given role. The first-line nurse manager is expected to manage human and fiscal resources in ways not required before. While an identified need for well-prepared first-line nurse manager continues to plague the profession, first-line nurse managers often have difficulty providing the leadership required. The need leadership training to function effectively in their positions. But we hardly find a useful leadership training program for first-line nurse managers, therefore the purpose of this study was to developed the leadership training program for them. The steps of leadership program development were below: 1st step, 2 studies were done before develop a leadership program. One was done to ask to first-line nurse managers what they want to learn through leadership training, the other one was to ask the staff nurses what their opinions are for their first-line nurse managers leadership. 2nd step was searching other leadership programs contents. The results of this study were below: The total amount of hours is 24. Leadership training program contents are : Future of nursing profession (210min), understanding basic factor's of leadership and leadership theories(310 min), self understanding as first- line nurse managers(320 min), basic principle and practice of interpersonal relationship(210 min), assertiveness training, conflict management (180min), and group study(210min). This is challenging time to be a leader, especially in nursing. As nurse managers look toward the new millennium, it seems as through the same struggles are ahead that are behind. So nurse managers need to embrace change with a positive attitude. They need to demonstrate risk taking and support it in their staffs. All these things are possible that after they participate the leadership training program.
The purpose of this study is to investigate patient satisfaction for the spacial environment of the rehabilitative facilities, and by this to examine areas of patients' needs to develop patient-friendly improvement in spacial environment. 308 patients were surveyed at physical therapy centers of 6 hospitals or rehabilitative institutions in Daejeon with patient satisfaction questionnaire. The spatial environment satisfaction was categorized into 7 constructs and the data were statistically analyzed and compared by t-test and ANOVA according to the patient characteristics. As a result, inter-floor transfer was found to be the area with the least satisfaction, especially in the in-patient group. Locating floor level was the second lowest satisfied construct. Comfort was relatively highly satisfied construct overall, but patients with neurological disease had less satisfaction than with musculoskeletal disease. Patients in 20's were less satisfied in wayfinding than 60's. Satisfaction for interior design was lower in subject in 50's than 70's. These findings can be used as evidences to improve spacial environment design for rehabilitative facilities to the better patient satisfaction.
The present study relates to the development of a processed product for expansion of use of Tangor which is mostly eaten raw in winter. Furthermore, Tangor jam containing fructo oligosaccharide and isomalto oligosaccharide was prepared, and thus quality characteristics of the jam have been determined according to the sugar concentration by making a low-sugar jam by adding substitute sweeteners instead of sugar, because low-sugar products are recently preferred in the market. Furthermore, the general elements of flesh and rind of Tangor, DPPH free radical scavenging activity, chromaticity, sugar content, pH, acidity, and preference have been checked. As a result of the experiment, the chromaticity, luminosity (L), the sugar content, and pH were the lowest in the control group. In F1, F2, and F3, which gradually added fructo oligosaccharide, and I1, I2, and I3, which slowly added isomalto oligosaccharide, luminosity significantly increased with the addition of oligosaccharide. In contrast, as the amount of addition of oligosaccharide increases, red chromaticity (a), yellow chromaticity (b), and sugar content have significantly decreased. Lastly, in the preference test using a 9 point test scheme, F2 and I2 have been considered most appropriate when producing Tangor jam.

Especially, unmanned watch system using USN is core part to transit network centric military service and to get national defense efficiency which overcome the dilemma of national defense person resource reducing, and upgrade guard quality level, and improve combat power by normalizing guardian's bio rhythm. According to the test result of sensor network unmanned watch system, it needs more effort and time to stabilize because of low USN technology maturity and using maturity. In the future, USN unmanned watch system project must be decided the application scope such as application area and starting point by evaluating technology maturity and using maturity. And when you decide application scope, you must consider not only short period goal as cost reduction, soldier decrease and guard power upgrade but also long period goal as advanced defense ability strength. You must build basic infra in advance such as light cable network, frequency allocation and power facility etc. First of all, it must get budget guarantee and driving force for USN unmanned watch system project related to defense policy. You must forwarded the USN project assuming posses of operation skill as procedure, system, standard, training in advance. Operational skill posses is come from step by step application strategy such as test phase, introduction phase, spread phase, stabilization phase and also repeated test application taking example project.
Waterbirds using rice fields has increased due to a decline of natural wetlands. The rice field is an essential habitat to supports the waterbird population. Although use of rice field by waterbirds has been widely documented, little information is available on distribution patterns of waterbirds under the pesticide use in rice fields. The current study conducted to understand the relationship between habitat use by waterbirds and pesticide applicatioins in rice fields. We monitored the distribution of waterbirds at Daeho reclaimed area in July 2013 to June 2014 and September 2014 to August 2015. As a results, three heron species (Black-crowned Night Heron Nycticorax nycticorax, Eastern Cattle Egret Bubulcus coromandus and Intermediate Egret Egretta intermedia) are more sensitive to pesticides use than other waterbird species in rice fields. Future studies are necessary to explore the relationship between bird's distribution and management practices including pesticide use at different spatiotemporal scales.

The development of Internet technology and the deployment of smart devices provide a convenient environment for people, and this is becoming common with the technology called the Internet of Things (IoT). But the development of, and demand for, IoT technology is causing various problems, such as personal information leaks due to the attacks of hackers who exploit it. A number of devices are connected to a network, and network attacks that have been exploited in the existing PC environment are occurring in the IoT environment. When it comes to IP cameras, security incidents (such as distributed denial of service [DDoS] attacks, hacking someone's personal information, and monitoring without consent) are occurring. However, it is difficult to install and implement existing security solutions because memory space and power are limited owing to the characteristics of small devices in the IoT environment. Therefore, this paper proposes a security protocol that can look at and prevent IoT security threats. A security assessment verified that the proposed protocol is able to respond to various security threats that could arise in a network. Therefore, it is expected that efficient operation of this protocol will be possible if it is applied to the IoT environment.

Purpose: To understand the epidemiology of head trauma and the utilization of brain CT in Korea, we analyzed a national sampling data set, the National Patient Sample obtained from the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. Methods: We retrospectively collected and analyzed demographic and clinical data on enrolled patients from the National Patient Sample based on medical claims data for 2009. The data included patient's age, sex, treatment date, diagnosis codes, procedure codes related with CT, holiday or night consultation fee, and fee for emergency management services. Results: In 2009, the estimated population with head trauma was 819,059(1.8%), and the rate of brain CT utilization was 22.4%. Children ages 5 to 15 were the most commonly injured group(22.8%), but had the lowest brain CT utilization(16.5%). The mean age of the estimated population with head trauma was $34.9{\pm}0.5years$ old, and male patients accounted for 60.5% of that population. Intracranial injury was found in 8.6% of all head traumas, and the rate of intracranial injury in children was lower than it was in adults(4.1% vs. 10.9%, p<0.001). Twenty- three percent of patients with head trauma visited the emergency department (ED). More patients with head trauma visited medical facilities in the daytime on weekdays(66.5% vs. 33.5%, p<0.001), but head CT was performed more frequently at night or on weekends/holidays(16.1% vs. 34.7%, p<0.001) There is low incidence of head trauma in the winter in children (p<0.001). In the multivariate logistic regression analysis, patients who were adults, female, or ED visitors were more likely to undergo brain CT (odds ratio (OR): 1.65, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.47-1.84; OR: 1.40, 95% CI: 1.27-1.54; OR: 7.80, 95% CI: 6.91-8.80, respectively). Conclusion: In this study, we analyzed the national epidemiologic trend for head trauma, and the pattern of utilization of brain CT.
Globally, efforts are being made to develop and strengthen a palliative care policy to support a comprehensive healthcare system. Korea has implemented a hospice and palliative care (HPC) policy as part of a cancer policy under the 10 year plan to conquer cancer and a comprehensive measure for national cancer management. A legal ground for the HPC policy was laid by the Cancer Control Act passed in 2003. Currently in the process is legislation of a law on the decision for life-sustaining treatment for HPC and terminally-ill patients. The relevant law has expanded the policy-affected disease group from terminal cancer to cancer, human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immune deficiency syndrome, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and chronic liver disease/liver cirrhosis. Since 2015, the National Health Insurance (NHI) scheme reimburses for HPC with a combination of the daily fixed sum and the fee for service systems. By the provision type, the HPC is classified into hospitalization, consultation, and home-based treatment. Also in place is the system that designates, evaluates and supports facilities specializing in HPC, and such facilities are funded by the NHI fund and government subsidy. Also needed along with the legal system are consensus reached by people affected by the policy and more realistic fee levels for HPC. The public and private domains should also cooperate to set HPC standards, train professional caregivers, control quality and establish an evaluation system. A stable funding system should be prepared by utilizing the long-term care insurance fund and hospice care fund.
This study was performed in order to investigate the effect of Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Lactobacillus plantarum and salt fermented anchovy extracts on Kimchi sauce. The sauce was fermented more rapidly by addition of Leu. mesenteroids or salt fermented anchovy extracts on the early fermentation stage than the control, but it was fermented slowly on the late fermentation stage. When L. plantarum was added to the Kimchi on the early fermentation stage, the acidity of Kimchi didn't show a significant difference from the control, but acidity was remarkably increased on the late stage. Coliform group was disappeared when acidity of sauce was higher than 0.8% during fermentation. It was controlled by Leu. mesenteroides but not by L. plantarum. Total count and lactic acid bacterial count of the sauces with starter were $6.30{\times}10^6{\sim}1.0{\times}10^7\;CFU/mL$ and $1.04{\sim}2.04{\times}10^6\;CFU/mL$, respectively, but those of the control sauce were $10^6\;CFU/mL$ and $10^4\;CFU/mL$, respectively. Those count of the sauce with starter were higher than those of the control sauce on the later stage of fermentation. Organoleptic quality of the sauce with Leu. mesenteroides was superior to that with L. plantarum.
Present study aims to describe who are the non-regular female workers in South Korea. The dominant form of employment of Korean female non-regular workers is characterized by instable contract, low wage, long-time work and exclusion from the state and occupational welfare. Also, non-regular female workers are not homeogenous but there are various groups of women among female non-regular workers including young part-time workers, high educational middle class contract professionals, particular contract workers such as home-schooling teachers. However, it would worth noting that over 40s, low-educational, low income, breadwinning women who are working in sales, service, and simple handy job are most likely to become non-regular female workers in South Korea. Those women are the major group among non-regular female workers. The public assistance (in cash) for non-regular workers are necessarily needed for them at this point in South Korea.
