자기폭풍예보모델을 이용한 우주환경예보

  • 태양면의 교란으로 야기되는 지구근방 우주환경의 변화는 인류에게 막대한 사회경제적인 손실을 유발하므로 이를 예측하는 것은 매우 중요한 일이다. 본 연구에서 도입한 자기폭풍 예보코드는 이러한 변화양상을 지자기활동지수인 AE 및 Dst, 극관횡단전위차, 극지방전리층에서 소모되는 에너지 그리고 여기에 수반되는 열권의 온도상승 등의 형태로 예보하도록 고안되었다. 본 예보코드는 플레어 관측으로부터 태양풍 그리고 행성간자기장을 예측하는 부분과 추정된 태양풍파라미터로 표현되는 태양풍-자기권상호작용함수인 $\varepsilon$으로부터 상기 물리량들은 추정하는 부분으로 나누어져 있다. 1993년 11월 초에 발생한 자기폭풍에 이 예보코드를 적용하여 그 결과를 일본인공위성인 Geotail에 의한 태양풍관측결과와 지자기관측소에서 얻은 지자기 활동지수들과 비교하였다. 비록 많은 부분에서 아직 개선되어야할 여지가 발견되었지만 태양 플레어로 야기되는 지구근방 우주환경에 교란상태를 예측하는데 근사적이지만 본 예보모델이 사용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

함양 승안사지 삼층석탑의 풍화훼손도 진단과 보존처리 (Deterioration Diagnosis and Conservation Treatment of the Three-storied Stone Pagoda in Seungansaji Temple Site, Hamyang, Korea)

  • 함양 승안사지 삼층석탑은 중립 내지 세립질의 흑운모화강암과 화강편마암이 주를 이루고 있으며 부분적으로 거정질편마암, 백운모편마암, 반려암질암이 혼용되었다. 이 석탑은 주변의 수목 및 잔디에 의해 전면에 걸쳐 지의류와 선태류 등이 서식하고 있어 석탑 표면이 심하게 훼손되어 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 이 석탑에 대한 종합적인 풍화훼손도 진단과, 이를 근거로 보존처리를 수행하였다. 보존처리에서는 석탑의 전면에 걸쳐 자생하는 지의류 및 오염물 등에 대해 부드러운 솔과 나무칼을 사용하여 건식세정을 실시하였고 이때 고착지의류 등 잘 제거되지 않는 부분은 증류수를 이용한 습식세정으로 제거하였다. 또한 기존에 설치되어 있는 보호난간을 석탑과의 거리를 고려하여 적당한 높이로 재설치하였으며, 석탑 주변의 지반은 마사토로 정비하고 배수흐름을 원활하게 하기위해 자연구배를 두고 자연측구를 설치하였다.

UR대비에 도움을 줄 논의 기계화재배를 위한 논의 용수처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Subsurface Drainage of Artesian Groundwater in Wetted Paddy for the Mechanized Farming to be Prepared Against Uruguay Round)

  • A Study was made to improve soil and water temperature and mechanized farming for a wetted paddy under the influence of artesian groundwater located at Samcheon-Dong, Chuncheon City, Kangweon Province. Half perforated PVC drainage pipes were installed in the test paddy to observe temperature change of water and soil. The temperature of the water in the paddy and soil itself raised significantly after the installation of the half perforated PVC pipes. A subsequent improvement of growth and yield of rice on the paddy was achieved. Harvesting operation was also improved with firm ground condition so that cutting and threshing could be done simultaneously within the paddy plot. Following results were obtained from the study. 1.Temperature of the water in a paddy under the influence of artesian groundwater was not changed notably although air temperature was fluctuated during the crop period. Soil temperature was mostly affected by the artesian groundwater. However, the half perforated PVC pipe drainage system made it possible to raise temperature of water and soil remarkably up to the level of optimum farming. 2.Total precipitation was 534.Omm during the crop period of the paddy for 118 days from May 26 to September 20 in 1992. Due to heavy rainfalls of 105.6mm and 109.8mm occurred on August 7 and August 27.1992, respectively, the rate of the artesian groundwater increased to 35 litter per minute with two to three days of time lag. 3.Average rate of the artesian groundwater was 28 litter per minute from the one year of observation. The rate varied by 0.7 to 1.3 times of average during the observation period. Peak rate of the artesian groundwater decreased to 14.5 litter per minute when daily precipitation maintained at the amount of 20 to 30mm for a long time period. Contrarily, it showed a tendency to increase to 35 to 40 litter per minute when heavier precipitation of 50 to l00mm occurred in a short period of three to five days. 4.Growth and yield of Yemyung variety of rice planted on the paddy that was facilitated with a drainage system with half perforated PVC pipes were confirmed at a normal level, while paddy without this perporated drainage system showed abnormal growth with low yield.

냉동연육 원료로서연근해산 어류의 가공적성 검사연구 (Sthdies on the Adaptability for Frozen fish Meat Paste Processing of the Fishes Cought in korean coastal Off-Shore Sea)

  • Alaska Pollack (Theragramma), Mackerel (Socomber japonicus), yellow corvenia (Pseudosc iance manchurica) were dressed, and then meat was separated from the other parts through a fish meat separator. After dehydration, the meat was ground with a silent cutter, packaged in polyethylene bags, and stored at -15。C for days. Samples were taken at regular intervals throughout the storage period and investigated for changes in puality characteristics such as the amounts of nitrogenous compounds, degree of lipid oxidation, fatty acid composition, and organoleptic factors. The resrlts obtained in this study were as follows; 1. The volatile basic nitrogen[VBN] contents of Alaska pollack, and yellow corvenia meat pastes increased from 14.4, 11.2 and 10.8mg% to 41.6, 38.3 and 40.6mg%, respectively during a 120 day storage period, whereas the trimethylamine oxide nitrogen [TMAO-N] contents decreased from 117.2, 12.8 and 17.2mg% to 40.3, 2.6 and 7.1mg% during the same period. 2. The TBA value of the mackerel meat paste showed a maximum peak after 60 days, and then decreased gradually, whereas the TBAvalues of the alaska pollack and yellow corvenia meat pastes increased steadily during the same period. The acid values of the meat pastes increased during the storage period, while the iodine values decreased. 3. The fatty acid composition of the total lipid of the meat pastes changed considerably during ghe 120 days storage period : saturated fatty acids in the total lipid such as myristic, palmitic, and stearic acid increased, while unsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic, gadoleic, eicosapentaenoic, erucic and docosahexaenoic acid decreased steadily. The initial percentage contents of the unsaturated fatty acids in the total lipid of the Alaska pollack, mackerel, and yellow corvenia meat pastes were 87.2%, 63.9%, and 75.9% respectively. However, the contents decreased to 46.0%, 42.5% and 51.3% after the 120day storage period. 4. The color of the meat pastes changde gradually into dark brown. L values of the meat paste measured with a thistimulus colorimeter decreased steadily during the storage period, while a and b values increased during same period. 5. Judging from the results of organoleptic evaluation on the fish odor, color and overall acceptability, significant difference were found between the odor and color of the mackerel and those of the yellow corvenia meat pastes. Overall acceptability score of yellow corvenia was higher than that of Alaska pollack or mackerel meat pastes.

강원지역의 점토대토기문화 고찰 (A Study on the Round Clay Rim Pottery Culture in Kangwon Region)

  • 본고는 지금까지 조사된 강원지역의 점토대토기 출토 유적의 양상을 바탕으로 그 상한연대 및 전개과정과 성격을 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 그동안 발굴조사된 유적을 중심으로 입지와 분포, 유구의 규모와 구조, 그리고 출토 유물의 양상을 분석하였다. 강원지역 점토대토기 출토 유적의 양상을 살펴보면 영서지역과 영동지역 간에는 입지 및 유구의 규모와 구조는 차이가 없으나, 점토대토기의 형태 등 출토 유물의 양상에 다소 차이가 있다. 필자는 유구와 유물의 양상에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 강원지역의 점토대토기문화는 영서에서 영동지역으로의 단선적인 전파가 아니라 여러 전파경로를 통해 유입되었을 가능성을 제시하였다. 그리고 유적의 탄소 연대 측정결과를 검토해 보았을 때, 점토대토기문화의 상한연대를 기원전 4세기 후반에서 2세기 전반으로 보고 있는 기존의 연구 결과보다 시기가 앞서고 있으며, 지석묘의 하부구조에서 확인되는 사례도 있어 강원지역의 점토대토기문화는 이전의 지석묘를 축조하던 무문토기문화와 일정 기간동안 병존하였던 것으로 보인다.

  • 본(本) 실험(實驗) 실시(實施)함에 있어서 포장(圃場) 10a를 시공구(施工區) 5a, 대비구(對比區) 5a로 나누고 시공구(施工區)는 인력(人力)으로 터파기를 하는데 깊이 1m, 거리 5m 경사(傾斜) 200분지(分之)1로 하고 관경(管徑) 4.5cm의 plastic 제(製) 흡수관(吸水管) (Glass nylon filter 권(卷))을 시공구(施工區) 5a에 pipe 전소요량(全所要量)이 100m (2.5m, 40개)이며 배수조절용수갑(排水調節龍鬚閘)은 2개소(個所) 설치(設置)하여 관개기(灌漑期)에는 매일(每日) 오후(午後) 5시(時)에 개방(開放)하고 오전(午前) 6시(時)에 닫어 지온(地溫)을 측정(測定)한 결과(結果), 평균(平均) $1.2^{\circ}C$ 상승(上昇)하고 비관개기(非灌漑期)는 맥류(麥類) 및 서류재배(薯類栽培)를 위(爲)해서 수갑(水閘)을 종일(終日)열어 배수(排水)의 목적(目的)을 달성(達成)시켜 서류(薯類) 및 맥류재배(麥類栽培)가 전연불가능(全然不可能)한 저온지(低溫地)가 재배가능(栽培可能)하였으나 배수(排水)와 지외(地外), 생육(生育), 수량(收量), 토양(土壤), 관개수질조사(灌漑水質調査)는 제이차(第二次) 시험(試驗)에서 취급(取扱)하기로 하겠다.

농촌 생활용수에 관한 조사 연구 (A Study on the Water Systems in the Rural Districts of Korea)

  • This study was performed to estimate the daily water consumption for watering livestock and home use, and to organize the water systems in the rural districts of Korea. For these purposes, 560 farms and other 40 urban families were randomly chosen and investigated about their water systems and daily water consumption seasonally from July 20 to August 31, 1973, and other 82 livestock raisers' useful data for watering livestock helped the study to assess the consumption of livestock water and compare it to that of general farms which bred some domestic animals as their sidelines. The results of data showed that the daily consumption of water was varied with the difference of districts and seasons in which the investigations were conducted. The results were summarized as follows. 1. The mean consumption of water for home use was varied with the range of 30.2-48.7 lit./day in summer and 22.4-45.2 lit./day per a person, respectively, in the rural districts, which showed that the water consumption in summer was more than in autumn. 2. The mean consumption of livestock water in the general farms approached to about 15.8-37.1 lit./day per cattle, 3.87-16.45 lit./day per a pig, and 0.19-1.03 lit./day per chicken, but it was slightly reduced in autumn; 10.89-37.09 lit./day per cattle, 3.87-12.63 lit./day per a pig, and 0.06-0.94 lit./day per chicken. The ratio of livestock water consumption to home use amounted to the range of 10-25%. 3. The mean consumption of livestock water used at the livestock raisers amounted to 134 lit./day per dairy cow, 67.4 lit./day per cattle, 43.29 lit./day per a horse, 13.24 lit./day per a pig, 0.438 lit./day per a layer, and 0.177 lit./day per a broiler, which showed that the daily water consumption for larger livestock was about two times as much as the farms, but it was approximately of the same for small ones. 4. The factors affecting the amount of water consumption for home use were statistically analyzed to find the kind of water sources and the class of water systems by the factorial arrangement method to the fundamental experimental unit, Suwon area of 100 of families, in which the former was very significant while the latter was significant. However, the standard of living and their interactions were not significant. 5. Almost 83.24% of the sampled farms used some kinds of wells as their water sources, of which 32.06% was of hard water, and of which 11.l% or 2.6% contained much of iron or organice materials, respectively, examining them by a simple technique of sensibility, 6. The resulting chart of the farm water systems was summarized as Fig. IV-6. Observating the safe distance from contamination sources, the ratio of 42.4% of sampled farms whose water sources were wells, confronted highly to the danger of contamination to their water sources. And other dangerous sources of contamination such as toilets, stalls, and compost heaps were situated nearly to the water sources, and most of them were able to make their spoiled water infiltrated into the ground. Thereafter, it was recommended to develop some protecting methods and to install some suitable faculties to clean water.

한국의 낙농시설 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Dairy Rousing Systems in Kore)

  • Engineering phase of dairy housing systems has close connection with the milk produc- tivity of dairy cattle, the quality of milk, extension of dairy production systems, labor- saving in management of dairy cattle and the like. Moreover, the rate of investment of dairy housing facilities is of relatively high level, However, there has been almost no research effort for the improvement of engineering aspects of dairy housing systems in Korea. The purpose of this study is to find out general engineering problems and to recomm- end the improvement in dairy housing systems in Korea. Field survey by means of questionaire, direct measurements, taking pictures and sketching was conducted to get necessary information for the study. Kyung-ki Do region was firstly chosen for sampling area since it has included more than half of the number of dairy farms of the whole country. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. In overall dairy farm layout, the dwellings of workers were ignored in the light of sanitary environment 2. The layout of stalls in a dairy barn belongs mostly to the type of double-row face-out, which is compatible with the emphasis of manure disposal activities. 3. While the width and length of stalls were sufficiently close to the standard dimension, the width of mangers was much less than the standard dimension. 4. The width and depth of manure gutters and the width of working alleys were much. less than the standard dimension. 5. The mooring equipment was mostly in the classes of chain or rope. The watering equipment was not facilitated independantly except the one cese of using watercup. 6. The bucket milkers with one or two bucket milkers with the capacity of two cattles. each were used as milking equipment in most dairy farms. 7. There were only few milk rooms independently spaced from other space, in which the arrangement of milking equipment was much less than the standard condition. 8. The lounging ground area was averaged to be sufficient for the activity of dairy herd. 9. Silos for silage used during winter consisted of mostly bunker silos, trench silos and underground vertical silos. Ordinary vertical silos were considered for the farmers to be inconvenient for the labor saving. 10. From the view point of heat conservation and moisture removal within the dairy barns, windows were not flexible for the easy ventilation and ceiling part was not adequate for temperatur maintenance. 11. Waste treatment and disposal systems were not provided with most dairy farms, therefore the livestock waste pollution problems would be serious in the near future.

안성 화곡리출토 고려도기 제작방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Koryo Earthenware Production method through excavated from Hwakok-ri, Ansung)

  • 고려도기가마가 위치한 안성시일죽면 화곡리 산 1번리는 고려시대 초에 죽주였다가 11세기 초반인 현종18년(1018)에 광주목에 속하여 고려말기까지 이어졌다. 고려의 지방제도를 살펴보면 도자기와 관련된 곳으로 소(所)를 들 수 있다. 고려시대에는 와소(瓦所)와 자기소(瓷器所)가 있었다고 한다. 송나라사람 서긍의 $\ulcorner$선화봉사고려도경$\lrcorner$의 기명(器皿)조에는 와(瓦)와 도(陶)가 나오는데 와는 기와와 도기를, 도는 청자를 지칭하는 것으로 여겨진다. 화곡리가마터도 와소였음을 추정할 수 있다. 발굴조사된 도기가마 1구는 동남향의 산언덕에 위치한 지하식 단실 가마로 총길이 7m이며 좌측에 도기폐적물이 있다. 출토되는 도기는 그릇의 단단함의 차이에 따라 경질도기와 연질도기로 구분된다. 한 가마 안에서 경질도 기와 연질도기가 출토되는 것은 각각 소성온도를 달리해서 제작되었기 때문으로 생각된다. 연질도기와 경질도기는 단실 요에서 환원염소성으로 굽다가 아궁이와 연도를 인위적으로 폐쇄하여 산소의 공급을 일시적으로 차단한 상태에서 솔가지 등을 데워 불완전연소에서 생기는 연기(탄소)를 표면에 흡착시키는 꺼먹이소성법으로 제작되었다고 보여진다. 도기의 기종은 경질도기의 경우 구경 10cm$\~$20cm의 호와 구경 20cm$\~$30cm의 호, 병, 반구병, 매병등이 출토되며 연질도기는 구경 10cm$\~$20cm의 소호, 자배기, 시루등이 출토된다. 도기의 제작시기는 출토되는 매병편과 반구병편으로 고려시대임을 알 수 있다. 제작방법은 옹기성형방식인 타날법과 썰질법으로 제작되었다고 보여진다. 유는 경질도기에서만 보이고 연질도기에는 유가 없다. 경질도기의 경우 유가 없는 것이 대부분을 차지한다. 유가 있는 경우는 (1)병이나 호의 구연부에 녹색발색이 나는 유층이 두꺼운 것이 있으며 인공시유로 보여진다. (2)회청색 기외면에 회녹색, 회갈색 유가 일부 얇게 퍼져있는 경우가 있다. (3)기벽이 얇은 호등의 어깨부위에 얇게 퍼져있는 경우로 자연유로 보인다. (4)회녹색, 회흑색 유면위에 검녹색, 진녹색 유가 덧씌워져 있거나 회청색 기면위에 검녹색, 진녹색유가 흘러내리는 경우가 있다. 연질도기는 꺼먹이 소성법에 의한 검댕이 입혀진 경우와 안 입혀진 경우가 있다. 검댕이 입혀진 경우에는 (1)기외면이나 기내$\cdot$외면에 입혀진 경우가 있고 (2) 일반적으로 출토되는 연질도기보다 경도가 강한 형태로 검댕을 입힌후 물레회전방향으로 마연한 경우가 있다. 안성 화곡리가마는 고려도기의 제작방식을 알려주는 중요한 유적이라 할 수 있다.

화강암 풍화토의 동상 발현 및 융해에 따른 변형 거동에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Frost Heave Revelation and Deformation Behaviour due to Thawing of Weathered Granite Soils)

  • Natural ground is a composite consisted of the three phases of water, air and soil paircies. Among the three components, water as a material is weU understood but soil particles are not in foundation engineering. Especially, weathered granite soil generally shows a large volumetric expansion when they freeze. And, the stability and durability of the soil have shown decreased with repetitive freezing and thawing processes. These unique charcteristics may cause various construction and management problems if the soil is used as a construction material and foundation layers. This project was initiated to investigate the soil's physical and engineering characteristics resulting from freezing and freezing-thawing processes. Research results may be used as a basic data in solving various problems related to the soil's unique characteristics. The following conclusions were obtained: The degree of decomposition of weathered granite soil in Kangwon-do was very different between the West and East sides of the divide of the Dae-Kwan Ryung. Soil particles distributed wide from very coarse to fine particles. Consistency could be predicted with a function of P200 as LL=0.8 P200+20. Permeability ranged from 10-2 to 10-4cm/sec, moisture content from 15 to 20% and maximum dry density from 1.55 to 1.73 g /cmΥ$^3$ By compaction, soil particles easily crushed, D50 of soil particles decreased and specific surface significantly increased. Shear characteristics varied wide depending on the disturbance of soil. Strain characteristics influenced the soil's dynamic behviour. Elastic failure mode was observed if strain was less than 1O-4/s and plastic failure mode was observed if strain was more than 10-2/s. The elastic wave velocity in the soil rapidly increased if dry density became larger than 1.5 g /cm$^3$ and these values were Vp=250, Vg= 150, respectively. Frost heave ratio was the highest around 0 $^{\circ}C$ and the maximum frost heave pressure was observed when deformation ratio was less than 10% which was the stability state of soil freezing. The state had no relation with frost depth. Over freezing process was observed when drainage or suction freezing process was undergone. Drainage freezing process was observed if freezing velocity was high under confined pressure and suction frost process was occurred if the velocity was low under the same confined process.
