밸런스 패드와 모래에서의 균형운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형과 보행에 미치는 영향 (The effects of balance training on balance pad and sand on balance and gait ability in stroke patients)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of balance training on balance pad and sand on balance and gait ability in stroke patients. METHODS: Sixty stroke patients were divided into a Balance Pad group(BPG, N = 20), a Sand group (SG, N = 20) and a Hard Ground group (HGG, N = 20) randomly. The subjects in the Hard Ground group stood in a comfortable position, faced a therapist, then threw a Swiss ball back and forth. They then performed balance training in which they raised and lowered their ankles while facing forward or moved objects from one table to another. The BPG performed same tasks in HGG, on an unstable surface using a balance pad. The SG performed same tasks on sand ground. All groups received training 30min per day, five times per week, for eight weeks. RESULTS: After intervention, all groups showed significant increases balance and gait components. And the BPG and the SG showed significant increase in weight distribution rate, Sway length and BBS compared with the HGG, but there was no significant difference in Cadence, Stride length among three groups. CONCLUSION: According to the results of this study, balance training on unstable surface using balance pad and sand was more effective in improving balance in stroke patients.

3아치터널의 지표면 침하에 관한 연구 (Study on Ground Surface settlement of a 3-Arch-shaped Tunnel)

  • A three-arch NATM tunnel with a total length of 53.5m has been constructed for a metropolitan subway station in Daejon, Korea. The tunnel, whose crown is located 22m below the ground, crosses the old Daejon station underneath. Since the tunnel comprises a very large section (10${\times}$28 m; largest in Korea), it shows complicated mechanical behaviors, especially near portal, due to its short length relative to width. As far as its construction step is concerned, the center tunnel is excavated with pre-excavated pilot tunnel, which is a unique feature of this tunnel (first in Korea) to secure safety during construction and prevent excessive settlements. The both side tunnels are then excavated along with the center tunnel. Since significant amount of settlement was predictable from the design stage, extensive monitoring was performed during construction. During excavation of the side tunnels, unexpected large settlements up to ${\~}$140mm (estimated 41.8 mm at design stage) was measured at the center tunnel. In this paper, we study the causes of this unusually large ground settlement. We believe that the extra-wide tunnel excavation increases the stress influence zone of portal in longitudinal direction and consequently add more settlements to the existing due to excavation and consolidation.

접지저항 측정에 있어서 전류전극의 최소 이격거리 (Minimized Distance of the Current Electrode in the Measurement of Ground Resistance)

  • 접지저항을 측정하는데 있어서 전류전극의 이격거리는 일반적으로 접지전극으로부터 전류전극에 이르기까지의 직선 구간상에서의 전압강하의 변화 곡선에 소위 평탄 구간이 존재하도록 이격하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 이러한 전류전극 이격 기준의 문제점은 그와 같은 조건을 만족하기에는 현실적으로 곤란한 측정 현장이 있다는 것이다. 이러한 문제의 보완을 위하여 본 논문은 실험적 측정 데이터를 활용, 분석하여 전류전극 이격거리의 최소 규격을 제시하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면 봉상접지에 대하여는 봉 길이의 2배 이상을, 메쉬접지에 대하여는 한 변 길이의 2배 이상 이격하여야 함을 알 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 접지면에 4개의 U 슬롯을 가지는 광대역 소형 마이크로스트립 안테나를 설계하는 방안을 제시하였다. 안테나의 해석을 위해 적합도 함수로서 FDTD 기법을 사용하였고, 정방형 패치의 길이, 접지면 슬롯의 길이, 중심선으로부터 급전점까지의 거리가 최대의 대역폭과 최소의 크기를 가지기 위한 최적화 파라미터로 사용되었다. 실제 안테나를 제작하여 측정한 결과, 2.445 GHz에서 10 dB 대역폭이 15.63 %이고, 최대 이득이 3.61 dBi이며, 일반 마이크로스트립 안테나에 비해 크기는 54.8 % 감소하였다.

인공광의 광원에 따른 실내 지피식물의 생육반응 (A Growth Responses of Indoor Ground Cover Plants according to a Light Source of Aritificial Light)

  • This study was carried out to obtain fundamental information of growth response of ground cover plants under artificial light quality at indoor. Aglaonema 'Silver Queen', Hedera helix L., Hoya carnosa 'Tricolor' and Saintpaulia ionantha 'Frances' were examined under a 400lux light intensity consisted of Mercury lamp, True-lite lamp, incandescent lamp, dark-room and sunlight indoor condition. A data analysis were performed by GLM, Duncan's multiple range test and mean score with SAS program. Results of experiments are as follows; 1. A plant growth status was better showed under the True-lite lamp than sunlight. 2. A Saintpaulia ionantha flower color was responded in the first place, the deep pinkish red color of Saintpaulia ionantha flower was obtained under Mercury lamp and "True-lite lamp", "sunlight", and incandescent lamp were follow. Flower numbers of Saintpaulia ionantha after 60 days tended to decrease under every artificial light quality. 3. Leaf length and leaf width were increased under True-lite lamp, but most of plants was not significantly affected by artificial light quality. 4. A stem length of Hedera helix was increased the highest rank under sunlight also, one of artificial light, the highest increase rank was showed under incandescent lamp. 5. Chlorophyll content was highly increased under Mercury lamp, but was responded poor under incandescent lamp.

The non-shrinkage grout to use ground fly ash as admixture

  • This study uses fly ash for non-shrinkage grout in order to develop strength of grout and improve its durability. We grind fly ash to the extent of $7,000cm^2/g$ and use ground fly ash and raw fly ash respectively at the proportion of 10%, 20%, 30% instead of OPC and compare the results drawn on the condition of each proportion. As a mixed material of grout, EVA and water-reducing agent is added in order to prevent bleeding and improve segregation resistance, CSA is added with a view to preventing drying shrinkage and improving early strength property. In regard to flow and flow time test for analyzing and evaluating workability, it is revealed that grouts of all mix proportions except raw fly ash 30% mix proportion satisfy all performance criteria. With regard to length change rate, grout with no admixture shows the highest shrinkage rate, but the rate is 0.0005%, extremely insignificant rate. As material age increases, compressive strength of two grouts, that is to say ground fly ash 10% and 20%-used grouts, exceed that of grout with no admixture or show high-level compressive strength.

전류 및 전위 측정선간 상호유도가 접지임피던스에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Mutual Coupling between Current and Potential Test Leads on Ground Impedance)

  • While a high frequency source is used for measuring the ground impedance, there are several factors having an effect on the measured value. A primary factor of the measurement error is the ac mutual coupling between current and potential test leads. The mutual coupling causes the test current to induce a voltage into the potential test lead that adds to the actual ground potential rise and produces a significant measurement error as the length of the test leads paralleled is prolonged. In order to avoid the mutual coupling, it is recommended that the ground impedance be measured by angled arrangement of test leads. The mutual impedance due to the inductive coupling with an angle of $90^{\circ}$ was calculated at $0^{\circ}$ by Campbell/Foster Method. With an angle of $180^{\circ}$, the mutual impedance was calculated large value enough to introduce a fairly large margin of error, however, the measured value of ground impedance was close to the value at $90^{\circ}$.

근접한 흙막이벽체에 가하는 선행하중의 영향을 받는 상재하중 재하 터널의 안정 (Stability of A Surcharged Tunnel under the Effect of Pre-Loading on the Adjacent Braced Wall)

  • When the ground is excavated adjacent to the existing tunnel, which is loaded by the surcharge on the ground surface, the tunnel stability would be very sensitive to the deformation of the ground induced by the horizontal displacement of braced wall. The stability of the existing surcharged tunnel could be controlled by pre-loading on the braced wall. In this paper, it was investigated, if it would be possible to keep the existing surcharged tunnel stable by preventing the horizontal displacement of a braced wall by imposing the pre-loading during the ground excavation. For this purpose, large scale model tests were performed in a scale 1/10 at the test pit which was 2.0m in width and 6.0m in height and 4.0m in length. Isotropic test ground was constructed homogeneously by wet sand. Model tunnel was constructed in the test ground. Surcharge was loaded on the ground surface above the tunnel. During the tests, the behavior of model tunnel and model braced wall was measured. Numerical analyses were also performed in the same condition as the tests. And their results were compared to that of the model tests. Consequently, the effect of a surcharge could be compensated by imposing the pre-loading on the braced wall. The existing tunnel and the braced wall could be kept stable by preventing the horizontal displacement of the braced wall through pre-loading, although the tunnel is surcharged.

임펄스전류의 인가위치에 따른 심매실 봉상 접지전극의 과도접지임피던스 특선 (Transient Grounding Impedance Behaviors of Deeply-driven Ground Rods According to the Injection Point of Impulse Currents)

  • 본 논문은 임펄스전류의 인가위치에 따른 심매설 봉상 접지전극의 과도접지임피던스와 규약접지임피던스 특성에 관하여 기술하였다. 과도접지임피던스는 심매설 접지전극의 길이 및 임펄스전류의 상승시간과 인가위치에 강하게 의존하며, 접지전극의 자체 인덕턴스는 짧은 시간 영역에서 점지시스템의 과도접지임피던스에 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 심매설 봉상 접지전극의 자체 인덕턴스의 저감은 과도접지임피던스 특성의 개선에 결정적인 역할을 한다. 접지도선의 길이는 최대한 짧게 하여 접지전극의 상단에 접속하는 것이 효과적이다.

수직밀폐형 지중열교환기의 최적설계를 위한 설계인자 영향도 분석 (Sensitivity Analysis on Design Factor of Ground Heat Exchanger for Optimum Design of Vertical Ground Source Heat Pump System)

  • Ground source heat pump(GSHP) system is one of the high efficiency heat source systems which utilizes the constant geothermal energy of a underground water or soil. However, the design of conventional GSHP system in the domestic market is dependent on the experience of the designer and the installer, and it causes increase of initial installation cost or degradation of system performance. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a guideline and the optimal design method to maintain stable performance of the system and reduce installation cost. In this study, in order to optimize the GSHP system, design factors according to ground heat exchanger(GHX) type have been examine by simulation tool. Furthermore, the design factors and the correlation of a single U-tube and a double U-tube were analyzed quantitatively through sensitivity analysis. Results indicated that, the length of the ground heat exchanger was greatly influenced by grout thermal conductivity for single U-tube and pipe spacing for double U-tube.
