This paper is to evaluate the application potentials of data mining in the areas of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and to suggest the architectures of Decision Support Systems (DSS) that support data mining activities. We first briefly introduce data mining and review the recent literatures on SCM and then evaluate data mining applications to SCM in three aspects: marketing, operations management and information systems. By analyzing the cases about pricing models in distribution channels, demand forecasting and quality control, it is shown that artificial intelligence techniques such as artificial neural networks, case-based reasoning and expert systems, combined with traditional analysis models, effectively mine the useful knowledge from the large volume of SCM data. Agent-based information system is addressed as an important architecture that enables the pursuit of global optimization of SCM through communication and information sharing among supply chain constituents without loss of their characteristics and independence. We expect that the suggested architectures of intelligent DSS provide the basis in developing information systems for SCM to improve the quality of organizational decisions.

극심해지는 경쟁 환경 속에서 경쟁우위 확보를 위하여 SCM을 도입하는 기업들이 증가하고 있다. 공급망 프로세스의 복잡성과 SCM 도입에 투입되는 막대한 기업 자원을 감안할 때 성공적인 SCM 구축을 위해서는 자사의 공급망 수준에 대한 정확한 진단을 통해 취약점 및 개선점을 파악하는 것이 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 SCM 성과 측정지표에 관한 선행 연구를 살펴보고 대표적인 ETO 산업인 조선업을 대상으로 업종의 특성에 맞는 공급망 수준진단 프레임워크를 제안한다. 특히 가트너에서 제안한 공급망의 주요 3개 프로세스인 수요, 공급, 제품 관리를 기준으로 조선소의 공급망 프로세스를 세부 프로세스로 분해하고, 분해된 각 프로세스 별로 공급망 수준을 진단할 수 있는 측정지표를 제안한다. 또한 사례 연구를 통하여 제안된 공급망 수준진단 프레임워크를 실제 조선소의 공급망에 적용해 보고, 현실적 의미를 도출해 본다.

글로벌 경쟁의 시대에서 한 기업이 보유한 역량만으로 경쟁을 이겨나가는 것은 매우 어려운 일이다. 기업들은 서로 복잡하게 연결되어 있으며, 기업 대 기업의 경쟁이 아니라 연관된 기업들의 집합체인 공급망간의 경쟁으로 변화되었기 때문이다. 이와 같이 공급망을 형성하는 기업들이 SCM을 전략적 수단으로써 어떻게 활용하는지가 경쟁에서 중요하게 되었다. 본 연구는 SCM특성이 기업특성에 미치는 영향과 기업특성이 공급사슬 파트너십과 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고 있다. SCM특성이 기업특성인 민첩성과 가시성에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 민첩성과 가시성은 공급사슬 파트너십과 기업성과에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 것을 통계적으로 검증하였다. 그리고 거의 연구가 이루어지고 있지 않았던 건설기계산업 분야에서의 SCM 활동에 대해 연구하였다는 점에서 실무적인 공헌도가 높다고 하겠다.

Due to technological development in the globalized food system, quantitative problems of food supply have been solved, but food risks have expanded from problems in specific regions to global problems. In order to maximize the efficiency of agricultural production, the growth in agricultural production system, procirement of raw materials, establishment of food processing processes and establishment of food supply chain systems are required. Control of hazards requires facility and administrative efforts. In this study, we examined the role of CSR in conjunction with food safety. Food SCM is related to food safety and correlates with the food supply chain. In terms of the triple bottom line theory, CSR is correlated with SCM and it is possible to pursue food safety through corporate CSR and SCM. In this study, it is statistically confirmed that SCM and CSR are in a positive relationship. In the impact of CSR on food safety, it has been confirmed that economic responsibility and legal responsibility take precedence over environmental responsibility and social responsibility. Based on this, we can achieve food safety through SCM and CSR, and we can decide which of CSR activities can be prioritized.

Purpose - This study carried out an empirical study of the impact of sustainability - which has been gaining attention as challenges are arising in supply chains based on existing trade networks due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic - on SCM performance and financial performance of Korean SMEs. The study seeks to propose a measurement model to enhance the SCM performance and financial performance of Korean SMEs and to identify the relationship between sustainability, SCM performance and financial performance to suggest implications to SMEs, governments, and relevant organizations. Design/methodology - Our Analysis established hypotheses that economic sustainability, environmental sustainability, and other factors related to sustainability have a positive impact on SCM performance and financial performance as well as SCM performance has a positive impact on financial performance, making empirical validations by utilizing Structural Equation Modeling based on data collected through survey from Korean SMEs. Findings - According to an empirical study, although environmental sustainability and economic sustainability among factors of sustainability had a positive influence on SCM performance, social sustainability did not have a statistically significant influence. Furthermore, it was learned that only economic sustainability had a positive influence on financial performance while SCM performance has a positive influence on financial performance. Originality/value - This empirical study explored the relationship between SCM performance and financial performance of Korean SMEs with a high tendency to depend on specific supply chains when the international trade network is in confusion and/or the global supply chain has collapsed. If Korean SMEs allocate management resources to the factors deducted from this study, they would be able to build more efficient supply chains and improve financial performance to improve sustainability.

본 연구는 글로벌 리딩 기업의 공급사슬관리(SCM)가 프로젝트 관리자(PM)의 역량과 지속가능 성과공유에 미치는 영향력을 밝히는데 목적을 갖는다. 연구방법은 설문지에 의한 실증조사방법으로 조사 후 통계분석 방법을 통해 수행하였다. 연구대상은 SCM 기업의 PM 426명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과는 글로벌 리딩 기업에서의 SCM의 몰입과 비전 및 목표공유가 높을수록 PM의 역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐 PM역량이 촉진되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 신뢰구축과 비전 및 목표공유가 높을수록 지속가능성과 성과공유가 높아지는 것으로 나타났으며, 이들 변수의 유용성을 지지해 주었다. 반면 정보공유와 신뢰구축은 PM의 역량을 높이는데 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타내 기각되었다. 이는 SCM에서 단순구성원의 정보공유나 신뢰구축만으로는 PM의 역량을 높이는데 큰 도움이 되지 않음을 의미한다. 즉, 글로벌 리딩 기업에서의 SCM은 몰입과 비전 및 목표공유가 높을수록 PM의 역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐 PM역량이 촉진되고 또한, 신뢰구축과 비전 및 목표공유가 높을수록 지속가능성과 성과공유가 높아지는 것으로 나타나 이들 변수의 유용성을 지지해 주었다. 반면 정보공유와 신뢰구축은 PM의 역량을 높이는데 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타나 기각돼 이는, SCM에서 단순구성원의 정보공유나 신뢰구축만으로는 PM의 역량을 높이는데 큰 도움이 되지 않음을 의미한다.

본 연구는 다국적 기업들이 그들의 글로벌 공급사슬을 얼마나 지식이라는 전략적 자원에 기초하여 조직하고 운영하고 있는지, 그리고 지식을 지향하는 공급사슬관리가 기업의 글로벌 공급사슬관리 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 Nonaka(1994) 등이 제시한 지식창조 프로세스를 적용하여 지식지향 글로벌 공급사슬관리의 개념을 구체화하는 측정모형을 제안하였으며 기업의 지식경영 시스템과 지식창조 프로세스가 기업의 글로벌 공급사슬관리 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 113개의 다국적 기업을 대상으로 한 실증분석을 통해 본 연구에서 제안한 측정모형의 타당성과 신뢰성을 검증하였다. 또한 표본 기업들을 글로벌 공급사슬관리에 있어서의 지식지향 수준에 따라 군집화하여 비교분석한 결과, 글로벌 공급사슬상에서 창출되는 지식을 효과적으로 관리하는 기업들이 글로벌 공급사슬관리 성과에 있어서도 전반적인 우위를 나타내는 것으로 분석되었다.

Bsusiness-to- Business transactions requires interactions between diverse application s and business. This gives rise to the need to for a common standard and protocol for exchanging busienss messages. and RosettaNet is the leading industry organization focused on developing B2B process standard for a global supply chain. This paper is intended as an investigation of Build-up Method of SCM Connection applying EC Standard(Rossetta-net) to reduce the integration effort, and improve extensibility and interoperability of an eBusiness infrastructure.-Intiative way for E-commerce applications to quickly incorporate new standards. Supply Chain Management (SCM) helps companies plan and execute supply to meet customer demand. The researches of modem scientists have thrown new light on the subject. but, The study of SCM for EC Standard has been strangely neglected by critics. Consequently, existing SCM system, which require to introduce the functions of EC, needs to be changed. Let me summarize the main points that have been made in this paper. The sharing information for connection and the Rosetta-net standard of the existing SCM system, and PIP 3A4, order management module, of the Rosetta-net specifications for connection by the Rosetta-net. Lastly, That shows the process of the gateway for connecting among the existing SCM systems. This provides felxibility in incorporating any new emerging open standard.

Samsung, recognized as a global leading company, has huge and complex supply chain structures and has been improving them continuously for its fast-growing global businesses. SCM 6 Sigma is the state-of-the-art methodology developed through a combination of SCM innovation concepts accumulated from SCM Business Group in Samsung SDS and 6 Sigma which has successfully settled down as the management innovation tool for many companies in Samsung. The ultimate goal of SCM 6 Sigma is to train and develop future supply chain leaders who are more capable of leading SCM innovations. By leveraging the established 6 Sigma Belt System, Samsung aims to alleviate a shortage of SCM talents that has been a bottleneck in improving SCM performances at its group companies. This explains why SCM 6 Sigma is created. SCM 6 Sigma is the unique and critical component for Samsung to implement its various strategies for continuous improvement of its operations at a higher level of effectiveness and systematically as well. In return on these efforts, many SCM innovation projects have been successfully executed through SCM 6 Sigma up to today. In this paper, we introduce the methodology and explain the business rationale behind it together with its deployment case.

효과적이고 효율적인 산/학연계교육을 위해서는 기존의 대기업 주도의 일방적 교육시스템이나 교육과정에서 벋어나 공급망 상에서 연결된 대기업-중소기업 간 상생협력관계에 따른 차별화된 맞춤형 산학교육계획의 설계가 필수적이고 이를 위해서 공급망상에서 연결된 대기업-중소기업의 협력관계를 평가할 수 있는 공급망품질을 평가하는 것이 중요한 문제이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 효과적이고 효율적인 산/학연계교육 설계 및 수행을 위해 중요한 요인인 공급망품질경영모형 SCQM(Supply Chain Quality Management) 및 이를 바탕으로 상생품질경영 역량을 평가할 수 있는 공급망품질협력지수(QCI-SCM; Quality Collaboration Index for Supply Chain Management)를 제시하고, 심사항목별, 매출규모별로 나누어진 기업군을 대상으로 상생협력도 실증분석을 통해 그 차이점과 공통점을 파악함으로써 상생협력성과에 영향을 미치는 핵심요소가 무엇인지를 제시하고 이를 효과적인 산학연계 교육에 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 살펴 보고하고자 한다.
