In this paper, we study m-isometric Toeplitz operators $T_{\varphi}$ with rational symbols. We characterize m-isometric Toeplitz operators $T_{\varphi}$ by properties of the rational symbols ${\varphi}$. In addition, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for Toeplitz operators $T_{\varphi}$ with analytic symbols ${\varphi}$ to be m-expansive or m-contractive. Finally, we give some results for m-expansive and m-contractive Toeplitz operators $T_{\varphi}$ with trigonometric polynomial symbols ${\varphi}$.

In this paper, we prove some inequalities in terms of G$\hat{a}$teaux derivatives for convex functions defined on linear spaces and also give improvement of Jensen's inequality. Furthermore, we give applications for norms, mean $f$-deviations and $f$-divergence measures.

In this paper, we introduce screen slant lightlike submanifold of an indefinite Sasakian manifold and give examples. We prove a characterization theorem for the existence of screen slant lightlike submanifolds. We also obtain integrability conditions of both screen and radical distributions, prove characterization theorems on the existence of minimal screen slant lightlike submanifolds and give an example of proper minimal screen slant lightlike submanifolds of $R_2^9$.

This paper presents an LMI-based method to design sliding mode observers for a class of uncertain systems. Using LIs we derive an existence condition of a sliding mode observer guaranteeing a stable sliding motion. And we give explicit formulas of the observer gain matrices. We also consider sliding mode observer design problems under an α-stability constraint or an LQ performance bound constraint. Finally, we give a numerical design example.

Reaction of propane-1, 3-sultone with amines gave N-substituted aminosulphonnic acids 2a-i, Dehydration of 2a-c with $POCI_3$ gave the corresponding sultams 3a-c. Propane-1, 3-sultone 1 reacted with tertury amines to give the betaiene salts 4-11. 2-4-Dimethyl-1, 3-butadiene-1, 4-sultone 12 condensed with amines to give N-substituted-2, 4-dimethyl-1, 3-butadiene-1, 4-sultames 13a and 13b. The reaction of 3a, 13a with hydrazine hydrate gave acid hydrazides 3d or 13c. Compounds 3d, 13c reacted with isocyanates to yield urea derivatives 14a-c, 15a-c.

This paper presents an LMI-based method to design a reduced order output feedback sliding mode controller for a class of uncertain systems. Using LMIs we derive an existence condition of a reduced order sliding mode control law. And we give explicit formulas of the gain matrices. Finally, we give a numerical design example, together with a design algorithm.

In this paper an approximate solution method for the large-scale Traveling Salesman Problem(TSP) is presented. The method start with the subdivision of the problem domain into a number of clusters by considering their geometries. The clusters have limited number of nodes so as to get local solutions. They are linked to give the least path which covers the whole domain and become TSPs with start- and end-node. The approximate local solutions in each cluster are obtained by using geometrical property of the cluster, and combined to give an overall-approximate solution for the large-scale TSP.

We propose a near optimal controller design method for ramp metering based on SDRE (State Dependent Riccati Equation) approach. We parameterize the optimal nonlinear controller in terms of the solution matrices of an SDRE. We also give a simple algorithm to obtain the controller gain. Finally we give numerical results to show the effectiveness of the proposed near optimal traffic controller design method.

We propose a nonlinear observer design method for traffic control systems based on T-S fuzzy approach. We parameterize the observer gains in terms of the solution matrices of LMIs. We also give a simple algorithm to compute the observer gain matrices. Finally we give simulation results to show the effectiveness of the proposed fuzzy observer design method.

In WCDMA systems, it is difficult to use high level modulation schemes in Rayleigh fading channel. Components of Multipath interference give signals much inteferences. Multipath interference cancellation is one of the method to overcome this problem. In this paper, multistage PIC algorithm is used to verify a performance of multipath interference cancellation. It is algorithm gradually canceling the multipath interferences as a stage number is increases. In computer simulations, it is verified that multipath interference cancelation is necessary and using its algorithm give much better performances than not using.
