고상합성으로 제조된 MnSi1.73:Crx의 열전특성

  • 중고온 열전재료로서의 응용 가능성이 높은 HMS (higher manganese silicide)는 높은 제백계수, 낮은 전기저항, 높은 산화 저항성뿐만 아니라 구성 원소가 풍부하며 친환경적인 열전재료이다. HMS는 주로 용해/응고법, 단결정 성장법에 의해 합성되지만, 구조적인 불균질성 및 많은 합성 에너지를 소비하는 단점이 있다. 또한 진성 HMS는 비교적 낮은 열전특성을 나타내기 때문에 도핑에 의한 열전특성의 개선이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 HMS의 한 종류인 MnSi1.73에 Cr을 도핑한 화합물 MnSi1.73:Crx (x=0, 0.005, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03)를 고상반응(solid state reaction)과 진공 열간압축성형(hot pressing)을 통해 제조하였다. XRD와 Rietveld refinement를 통해 상변화 및 상분율을 분석하였고, 323~823 K까지 전기적 및 열적 특성을 측정하여 열전 성능지수(ZT)를 평가하였다.

Nanodome-patterned Transparent Conductor for Highly Responsive Photoelectric Device

  • An effective light-managing structure has been achieved by using a nano-imprint method. A transparent conductor of indium-tin-oxide (ITO) was periodically nanodome-shaped to have a height of 200 nm with a diameter of 340 nm on a p-type Si substrate. This spontaneously formed a heterojunction between the ITO layer and Si substrate and effectively reduced the light-reflection. The ITO nanodome device response was significantly enhanced to 6010 from the value of 72.9 of a planar ITO film. The transparent conducting ITO nanodome structure efficiently manipulates the incident light driving into the light-absorber and can be applied in various photoelectric applications.

  • 초고속 네트웍을 기반으로 지리적으로 분산된 리소스들을 공유하며 강력한 컴퓨팅 파워를 낼 수 있는 그리드 환경에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 그리드 환경을 구축하기 위한 기술중에 어카운팅 정보의 수집에 관해서 기술한다. 특히 클러스터 형태의 시스템에서 OGSA RSU-WG의 GSAX와 Usage Records Working Group(UR-WG)를 기반으로 하여 시스템을 설계하였다. 설계를 바탕으로 각 노드에서 발생하는 어카운팅 정보와 job 수행 정보를 수집하고, 통합하는 모니터링 툴의 구현에 대해 상세히 설명한다.

  • LRT System Application Project is performed for the purpose of technical advancement and stabilization of K-AGT system from the viewpoint of practical use and commercialization. For those purpose, the performance test and evaluation procedure for K-AGT signaling system are developed, and the scheme of verifying the performance and function of signaling system under multi-train and driverless control environment is being conducted. For the multi-train operation in K-AGT test track, we applied the regenerative energy storage system in addition to the existing electric facilities. This paper present the design, manufacturing, and testing results of regenerative energy storage system.

  • Credit evaluation is one of the most important and difficult tasks fur credit card companies, mortgage companies, banks and other financial institutes. Incorrect credit judgement causes huge financial losses. This work describes the use of an evolutionary-fuzzy system capable of classifying suspicious and non-suspicious credit card transactions. The paper starts with the details of the system used in this work. A series of experiments are described, showing that the complete system is capable of attaining good accuracy and intelligibility levels for real data.

  • 중요 정보시스템에 대한 위험분석 프로세스는 자산 식별을 통해 위협, 취약성을 분석하고 이에 보호대책을 수립한다. 하지만 모든 보호대책을 적용하기에는 비용 대 효과면에서 불가능한 경우가 발생한다. 따라서, 잔여위험에 대한 분석을 통해 해결할 수 없는 위험에 대해서는 보험을 통하여 보호대책을 세워야 한다. 본 논문에서는 위험분석을 통해 계산된 피해 산정으로 사이버침해에 따른 보험 수준을 산정하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

  • The pseudo MOSFET measurement technique has been a simple and rapid method for characterization of SOI wafers without any device fabrication process. We adopted the pseudo MOSFET technique to examine the surface silicon film thickness dependence of electrical properties of SOI wafer. The measurements showed that turn-on voltage increased and electron mobility decreased as the SOI film thickness was reduced in the SOI film thickness of less than 20 nm region.

  • Local lifetime control by ion implantation has become an useful tool for production of modern power devices. In this work, punch-through diodes were irradiated with protons for the high speed power diode fabrication. Proton irradiation was executed at the various energy and dose conditions. Characterization of the device was performed by I-V, C-V and Trr measurement. We obtained enhanced reverse recovery time characteristics which was about 45% of original device and about 73% of electron irradiated device. The measurement results showed that proton irradiation was able to effectively reduce minority carrier lifetime.

  • In order to speed up basic concept is to enhance high speed, curve limit speed, cross limit speed, acceleration/deceleration speed. It is important to optimal interface, fundamental technology of vehicle, rail, electrical power, and signal system. Tilting train has advantage minimizing investment cost of infra railway system for increasing train limit speed in curve. the developed tilting train should be operated to commercial service speed 180km/h of 200km/h at KNR upgrade railroad. This paper proposed the basic model of system engineering for developing of tilting EMU(maximum operation speed : 180km/h) with speed-up of conventional railway system.
