열유동을 고려한 GIS 모선의 온도상승 예측 (Temperature Rise Prediction of GIS Bus Bar Considering Thermal Flow)

  • Many works on the temperature distribution of power apparatus have usually done by coupled magneto-thermal analysis. Such a method can not consider the internal gas or oil flow in the power apparatus such as gas insulated switchgear, GIS bus bar, and power transformer. Moreover it can not show the internal temperature distribution of the power apparatus exactly. This paper proposes a coupled magneto-thermal-flow analysis considering Navier-Stokes equations. The convection heat transfer coefficient is calculated analytically by applying Nusselt number for natural convection and is applied to the boundary condition of proposed method. Temperature distribution of the GIS bus bar model considering thermal flow is obtained by the proposed method and shows good agreement with the experimental data.

  • In this paper, the analysis result of the switching surge in substation including GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) has been described using the EMTP(Electro Magnetic Transient Program) program. After performing the modeling of the input data, we have reviewed the energization overvoltages of GCB(Gas Circuit Breaker) without closing resistor in 345kV network, according to the conditions of simultaneously operating switch and statistically operating switch. Firstly, it can be known that the energization overvoltage of single line is higher than that of parallel energized line. Secondly, the maximum energization overvoltage obtained in statistics switch is higher than one in simultaneous switch. From these results, it can be known that the phase-to-earth energization overvoltages of $\alpha$-$\beta$ section are less than 2.2 p.u when closing resistor is eliminated. Therefore, it is possible to consider the circuit breaker eliminated the closing resistor in $\alpha$-$\beta$ section.

  • A functionally graded material (FGM) spacer, which the distribution of dielectric permittivity inside an insulator changes spatially, can considerably reduce the electric field concentration around a high-voltage electrode and along the gas-insulator interface when compared to a conventional spacer with a uniform permittivity distribution. In this research, we propose the FGM spacer with an elliptical permittivity distribution instead of that with a distribution of dielectric permittivity varying along a radial direction only in order to improve efficiently the insulation capability. The optimal design of the elliptical FGM spacer configuration is performed by using the response surface methodology (RSM) combined with the steepest descent method (SDM).

  • With the improvement of industrial society, the high quality electrical energy, simplification of operation and maintenance, ensuring reliability are being required Also we request urgently change a $SF_6$ for an environment friendly gas insulation material. In this paper the experiments of breakdown characteristics by pressure and gap change of Imitation-Air in model GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) were described. Also assess of breakdown characteristics about Imitation-Air and $SF_6$. It is considered in this paper that the results are fundamental data for electric insulation design of Distribution Power Facilities which will be studied and developed in the future.

  • The current carrying conductor and the tank which consist of GIS must be properly designed to withstand the electrical, thermal and mechanical stresses that arise during normal service and during short-circuit conditions. In order to design the current carrying conductor for EHV GIS, it is important to consider temperature-rise when rated current flows. In this paper, we analyze magnetic field distribution and power-loss, according to the change of materials when AC current flows into single-phase and three-phase bus bar, respectively. These results will be used as the basic design data when determining dimensions and materials for the current carrying conductor of EHV GIS.

  • We proposed a new sensitivity verification method for the UHF partial discharge(PD) detection system. Initially, we measure the UHF power induced by 5 pC PD which takes place near UHF sensor. Subsequently, we inject the swept UHF signal from a network analyzer into the GIS and measure the attenuation of the signal along the 71S Both the UHF power by 5 pC PD and the attenuation make it possible to verify the sensitivity and spatial coverage of the PD detection system. This method doesn\`t require the calibration of injected pulse type UHF signal into the GIS and makes us precisely measure the attenuation in frequency domain.

  • In this paper the experiments of breakdown characteristics $SF_6$ liquid ($LSF_6$) in model GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) were described. From the experiments results, The ability of $LSF_6$ insulation is higher than high-pressurized $SF_6$ gas. The breakdown characteristics of $LSF_6$ were produced by bubble formed evaporation of $LSF_6$ and bubble caused by high electric emission. It is considered in this paper that the results are fundamental data for electric insulation design of superconductor and cryogenic equipments machinery which will be studied and developed in the future.

  • In this paper the experiments of insulation characteristics by temperature change of $SF_6$ gas in model GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) were described. From this results, the breakdown voltage was increased with a drop of temperature and an increase of the inner pressure in model GIS. It is considered that these result are fundamental data for electric insulation design of superconductor and cryogenic application machinery which will be studied and developed in the future.

  • 본 논문에서는, 초고압 GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear)용 GCB(Gas Circuit Breaker)의 3상 배치구조 설계를 위한 상간, 극간, 대지간의 절연성능을 평가하였다. 뇌임펄스 전압과 상용주파 전압인가 시 상간, 극간, 대지간의 절연설계 기준을 근거로 절연설계 안전율을 고려하여 설계에 적용하였다. 수치적 전계 해석법으로 3차원 전계 해석법과 2차원 축대칭 해석법을 이용하였으며 절연설계 여유율과 현장에서의 절연파괴 시험을 통한 데이타와 비교 분석하였으며, 분석한 결과 절연설계 기준에 적합한 상배치 구조 설계임을 확인하였다.
