  • CFD analysis was performed to analyze the temperature distribution of the inner space of the curing house according to blocking the opening of the gang-form with a tent in case of concrete pouring and heat curing of the apartment house during the winter season. If the gang-form opening is closed with a tent during internal heating using a hot air blower in the winter, the internal temperature rises compared to the non-reserved due to air-tightness of the curing spaces, and uniform temperature distribution can be ensured. In addition, it is possible to increase curing efficiency by reducing the amount of heat supplied and shortening the heating time.

Checklist Development for Preventing of Major Accidents of Formwork Using Gang-form (갱폼 공사 중대재해 사고 예방을 위한 체크리스트 개발)

  • Gang-foam is used in many construction projects because it is not only precise in terms of vertical, horizontal, and specifications, but also easy to install and dismantle. However, major accidents occur every year due to non-compliance with safety rules and work order, also manuals and checklists currently in use are insufficient. Thirty-seven surveys was conducted by analyzing major accident cases of domestic gang-form construction project and deriving 20 risk factors and 43 check points. Based on the survey, the importance and appropriateness of check points were evaluated. As a result of this study, a checklist was presented, check points were placed in the order of importance based on assembly, installation, dismantling, and lifting of the Gang-form process. The checklist was organized so that workers could comply with safety rules and work order. Through this, it is expected to prevent major accidents and contribute to efficient safety management.

  • This paper verifies the superiority of warming work in winter by applying the insulation gang-form to the apartment housing site and analyzes the economic feasibility of the application. According to the experimental results, the actual cost of warming work was about 52 million won less than planned, and 160 million won less than the existing average.(Note - The cost of gang form material increased from 260 million won to 310 million won after the change) As a result, the construction cost could be reduced by about 110 million won. As the costs of warming work can change depending on the number of floors, the building number, and the area of each site, it is deemed necessary to conduct a thorough review in advance at the site where the cost of warming work is to be applied.

  • Nowadays much efforts for evaluating the productivity of port physical distribution system to meet the rapid change of the port and shipping circumstances has been made continuously all over the world. The major part of these efforts is the improvement of the productivity of cargo handling system. The cargo equipment system as infrastructure in the cargo handling system is organized well in some degrees, but the management system of manpower as upper structure is still remained in an insufficient degree. There is little study, so far, on a systematic research for the management of port labor gang, and even those were mainly depended on rule of thumb. The object of this study is to introduce the method of optimal allocation and assignment for the labor gang in single ship, which was suggested as a first stage in dealing with them generally. The problem of optimal allocation and assignment of the labor gang can be (I) formalized with multi-stage allocation and assignment of the labor gang can be. (II) dealt with two stages in form of hierarchic structure and moreover, (III) The optimal size of labor gang was obtained through dynamic programming from the point of minimizing the summation of labor gang in every stage, (IV) For the problem of optimal assignment, the optimal policy was determined at the point of minimizing the summation of movement between hatches.
