한국 전력시장에서의 가스터빈(GT) 발전기 경쟁력 및 시장 미진입 적정성 분석 (Analysis of Gas Turbine Competitiveness and Adequacy of Electricity Market Signal in Korea)

  • This study analyzed competition in peak load plants between CCGT and GT instead of competition between base and peak load plants like in previous studies. In common overseas power markets, CCGT and GT claim certain market shares as peak load plants with the latter boasting a high utilization rate as reserve plants. In South Korea, however, there has been no introduction of GT in the market that opened in 2001 with no analysis cases of GT's economy as a peak load plant. The current power market of South Korea is run on the cost-based pool, which allows for no price spikes. Since the capacity payment criteria for compensations for missing money are set based on GT generators, the power market uses GT generators as marginal plants. The purposes of this study were to analyze the competitive edge of GT generators as peak load plants in the domestic power market of South Korea and identify the causes of GT's failure in market entry, thus assessing the adequacy of market signals in the domestic power market.

  • 상용 성능 해석 소프트웨어인 GT-POWER를 이용하여 SI 기관의 흡 배기 계통에 관한 모델링을 시도하였다. 흡 배기 계통을 구성하는 주요 요소 중 플레넘 체임버, 배기 매니폴드 및 촉매변환기 각각에 대하여 적용 가능한 여러 모델을 적용하고 흡·배기 계통 주요 지점에서의 압력 변화 등을 측정하고 이를 계산 결과와 비교하여 각 모델의 적용 가능성을 검토하였다.

  • SOFC시스템 고효율화의 한 방법으로 SOFC/GT 하이브리드시스템은 유효하다. 그러나 시스템의 출력 규모가 수십 MW급의 선박용이라면 하부시스템으로 사용되는 GT시스템의 냉각방식 도입은 장치를 복잡하게 만들고 제어 또한 쉽지 않게 된다. 따라서 선박용으로는 SOFC/GT(유냉각) 하이브리드시스템보다 SOFC/GT(무냉각) 하이브리드시스템이 더 적합해 보인다. 본 연구는 SOFC/GT(무냉각) 하이브리드시스템을 구축하고 그 시스템에 대한 스택의 작동온도와 전류밀도, 가스터빈의 압력비, TIT가 시스템의 성능에 미치는 영향 등을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검토한 것으로 공기압축기 소요 동력의 증가에도 불구하고 전기적 효율은 상승되며 TIT에는 운전을 위한 제한된 온도범위가 존재한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 미래형 선박 동력장치는 경제성과 친환경성을 같이 요구하고 있다. 즉, 높은 에너지 효율과 함께 대기오염물질 및 온실가스의 배출을 낮추어야 한다. 최근 가스터빈은 효율과 안전성 면에서 많은 기술적 발전을 이룩하였으며 항공용 이외에 파워플랜트의 GT/ST 하이브리드시스템으로 채용의 사례를 넓히고 있다. 본 논문에서는 선박용으로 GT/ST 하이브리드시스템의 가능성을 평가하기 위하여 대용량이 아닌 수십 MW급에 대한 성능 특성을 시뮬레이션으로 검토하였다. 검토된 GT/ST 하이브리드시스템은 최대 효율이 49 %정도이고 TIT에 대하여 최고 효율점을 갖으며 가스터빈과 증기터빈의 부하분담률이 각각 70~75 % 그리고 25~30 % 정도였다.

GT-Power기반 디젤 배기밸브 제어모델 개발 및 연소 특성 해석 (Analysis of Combustion Characteristics and Diesel Exhaust Valve's Control with GT-Power 1-D Detail Model)

  • In this study, the effects of variation in cam phasing and valve lift of exhaust valves by using Cam-in-Cam system on combustion and emission characteristics for diesel engine were investigated under GT-POWER simulation environment. This paper showed analytic result of combustion characteristics and diesel exhaust valve's control with GT-Power 1-D detail model. As a result, it was found that volumetric efficiency and IMEP were decreased as the exhaust valve opening and closing timing is advanced due to its internal EGR effects. Also, it was found that NOx emission were decreased as EVC timing was retarded. These show that the retarding the exhaust valve closing and opening while keeping the duration at constant can be effective for controlling AFR and mixing rate in diffusion combustion of diesel engine.

전력용변압기 단선 보호용 NGR 성능 개선 (The Improvement of NGR for Power Transformer Open Circuit Protection)

  • As the electric system is getting larger to meet the increasing demand for electric power, the rating of power apparatus is becoming inevitably higher in its working voltage and larger in its capacity. According to KEPCO reports, power transformers in the KEPCO system have undergone troubles such as winding short insulation breakdowns every year since 1981. the cause of this troubles were high one line grounding fault currents in KEPCO systems that had direct grounding systems. KEPCO has installed the NGR(neutral grounding reactor) to lower this fault current and reduced winding short insulation breakdowns in power transformers. But when a circuit breaker opened a no load bus, some trips of circuit breakers for protecting transformer have occurred by mal-operation of 59GT(overvoltage ground relay) that detect disconnection of NGR. Therefore, in this paper, we analyzed the cause and examined the effect of time delav circuit to prevent wrong operation of 59GT.

  • 폐열의 활용은 연료전지시스템의 효율의 제고에 중요하다. SOFC/GT/ST 하이브리드시스템은 연료전지시스템 폐열의 전력화에 가스터빈 및 증기터빈을 활용하는 방식이다. 본 논문은 SOFC/GT/ST 하이브리드시스템에 대한 스택의 작동온도와 전류밀도, 가스터빈의 압력비가 시스템의 성능에 미치는 영향 등을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검토한 것이다. 그 결과로 SOFC/GT/ST 하이브리드시스템은 단독 SOFC시스템과 비교하여 효율의 급격한 변화를 완화시키며 또한 효율을 크게 제고시키고 있음을 확인하였다.

프로펠러 레이싱에 대비한 SOFC/GT 하이브리드시스템의 대책 방안에 관한 기초적 연구 (A Study on Proposing Practicable Configurations against Propeller Racing for SOFC/GT Hybrid System in Ships)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose practicable configurations against Rapid Load Down like propeller racing of ships which have been using SOFC/GT hybrid system on board. This paper suggests four kinds of countermeasures against propeller racing. The types A and B keep a fixed load of SOFC and save a surplus electric power to a storage system. In types of C and D, the load of SOFC is changed with the propeller racing. The best desirable countermeasure for Rapid Load Down depends upon the size of the ship, the propulsion power, and the characteristics of the engine system.

치료용 테이핑이 정상 성인의 배곧은근 근력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of kinesio taping on rectus abdominal muscle strength)

  • Background: In recent days, Taping has introduced developing to improve our muscle power and sustaining power more than a fixed idea that taping only functions for muscles and protection of the articulation. Method: This study were conducting in two weeks - 2009 September 1 to September 14 - investigating at random 24 normal adults in H university located at Jinju Korea and the result of experimentation how the application of kinesio taping and Bang-gue taping(B-GT) to rectus abdominal muscle has an effect on the improvement of abdominal muscle strength. Results: the following conclusion was drawn up: 1. As a result of each experience man and woman with abdominal muscle strength, each experience all man and woman with abdominal muscle strength(p=0.01) came out to have interrelation difference. 2. As a result of comparing B-GT with age-abdominal muscle strength, B-GT(p=0.02) came out to have interrelation difference. 3. As a result of comparing after before kinesio taping and after before B-GT with abdominal muscle strength, after before kinesio taping and after before B-GT(p=0.00) came out to have interrelation difference. Also, as a result of comparing after kinesio B-GT, after kinesio B-GT(p=0.03) came out to have interrelation difference. Conclusion: As mentioned above, this study showed how the application of kinesio taping and B-GT to affected the improvement of abdominal muscle strength.

  • The strengthened regulations for atmospheric emissions from ships like MARPOL Annex VI have caused a necessity of new, alternative power system in ships for the low pollutant emissions and the high energy efficiency. This paper attempts to investigate the configuration of SOFC/GT hybrid power system for LNG tanker taking into account the safety and to analyze the influence of design parameters on the system performance. The simulation results provide the basic data for the design and efficiency improvement of SOFC/GT hybrid system and indicate the guidelines for the safe system operation.
