Recently many areas require wide field of view images. Such as surveillance, virtual reality, navigation and 3D scene reconstruction. Conventional camera systems have a limited filed of view and provide partial information about the scene. however, omni directional vision system can overcome these disadvantages. Acquiring 360 degree panorama images requires expensive omni camera lens. In this study, 360 degree panorama image was tested using a low cost optical reflector which captures 360 degree panoramic views with single shot. This 360 degree panorama image system can be used with detailed positional information from GPS/INS. Through this study result, we show 360 degree panorama image is very effective tool for mobile monitoring system.

We design level 1 traffic thematic map for common data structure. Level 1 means the road that can passing cars. If public office and private company use this form, they can save amount of money from overlapping update. And widely use of traffic analysis, navigation and traffic information system. For design common data structure we compared several data structure(traffic thematic map, ITS standard node/link, Car navigation map), and generalization these characteristic data. After generalization we considered about application parts. It can use of public part(traffic analysis, road management, accident management) and private part(car navigation, map product, marketing by variable analysis) etc.

Once a contingency table is constructed, the first interest will be the hypotheses of either homogeneity or independence depending on the sampling scheme. The most widely used test statistic in practice is the classical Pearson's $\chi^2$ statistic. When the null hypothesis is rejected, another natural interest becomes which cell contributed to the rejection of the null hypothesis more than others. For this purpose, so called cell $\chi^2$ components are investigated. In this paper, the influence function of a cell to the $\chi^2$ statistic is derived, which can be used for the same purpose. This function measures the effect of each cell to the $\chi$$^2$ statistic. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the role of the new function.

Castleman's disease is a relatively rate disorder of lymphoid tissue and poorly understood etiology. The disease may occur anywhere along the lymphatic chain, but is most commonly found as a solitary mass in the mediastinum. The hyaline vascular type represents 91% of Castlemen's disease, and these are most often discovered in the asymptomatic patient on routine chest film. Patients with the plasma cell type often exhibit systemic symptoms, including fever, night sweats, anemia, and hypergammaglobulinemia. Surgical excision effects cure, although resection of the hyaline vascular type may be associated with significant hemprrage owing to extreme vascularity. We recently experienced a case of hyaline vascular type Castleman's disease which was treated by surgical resection through the anterior mini-thoracotomy, and report with its review.

Boeun-gun is hard to develop, because of large numbers of mountains and vast distribution of limited development districts. However it is easy to access from the entire country, and there are large conservation area such as national park and dams. Short-term plans such as attraction of tourists can be established using these advantages. Long-term plans can be planed with stable establishment of continuous considerations and supports. These supports will be rewarded while it demands some time and costs. Private owned mountains can be converted from negligence upkeep of property to utilization of mountains with basic consideration of mountain conservation. This may contribute the essential function of mountain.

The purpose of this study is to identify issues for an effective safety culture assessment by conducting a case study of an electronics manufacturing plant in Korea. Cooper's safety culture model was used as the assessment method, and Fleming and Hudson's safety culture maturity models were applied as assessment criteria. The results of the safety culture assessment showed that there needs to be a design optimized for study purposes. For example, the correlation between the questionnaire survey and in-depth interview needs to be analyzed. The result of the behavior monitoring should show the relationships with other dimensions. A safety culture maturity model has to be developed to customize the study factors and questions.

There are various notions of partial ordering between life-times of systems; stochastic ordering failure rate ordering and likeli-hood ration ordering. In this paper we show that for series systems with non i.i.d. exponential lifetimes of components standby redundancy at component level is better than that at system level in failure rate or-dering and likelihood ratio ordering. We also demonstrate that for 2-component parallel systems with i.i.d. exponential lifetimes of com-ponents standby system redundancy is better than standby component redundancy in failure rate ordering and likelihood ratio ordering.

It would be interesting to know if energy minimizing harmonic maps between manifolds have symmetric properties when the manifolds under consideration have some. In this paper, we consider among others radial symmetry. A radially symmetric manifold M of dimension m is the one with a point, called a pole, and an O(m) action as an isometric rotation with respect to the pole, or more precisely a radially symmetric manifold M has a coordinate on which the metric is of the form $ds_{M}$$^2$ = d$r^2$ + m(r)$^2$d$\theta^2$ for some function m(r) depending only on r. Of course m(0) = 0, m'(0) = 1, and when m(r) = r, (M, $ds_{ M}$/$^2$) is the Euclidean space $R^2$.(omitted)

A three dimensional transient thermo-elastic frictional contact analysis of airplane brakes is performed. The velocity history of the airplane during braking is calculated from energy conservation law. ABAQUS code is used in the analysis, and user subroutines supported in the ABAQUS are coded to calculate the frictional heat generation between pads and linings attached to back/pressure plate and rotor, respectively. Numerical results are compared with experimental ones.

최근 백라이트용 램프를 구동하기 위해 사용하는 승압용 변압기를 압전 변압기로 도입하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 압전 변압기는 종래의 권선 변압기에서 볼 수 있었던 누설 자속과 권선등에 의한 저항 손실이 없으며, 전자유도에 의한 노이즈와 자체 손실이 없고, 권선형의 자기소자로 인한 소형화에 한계를 가지는 큰 단점을 해결해 주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 11층의 적층형 압전 변압기를 제작하고 이 제작된 적층형 압전 변압기의 전기적 특성분석을 통한 CCFL(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) 구동용 인버터의 승압용 변압기로써 응용가능성을 제시하였다.
