본 연구는 최근 Horizon report 2020에서 소개하는 고등교육 분야에 영향을 줄 트렌드와 기술 사례들을 수집하여 고등교육의 미래 동향과 학습 분석적 측면에서 분석하였다. 고등 교육이 교수·학습을 중심으로 영향을 줄 트렌드로는 기술적 트렌드, 고등교육 트렌드, 경제적 트렌드 등이 있으며 기술 사례로는 적응형 학습, 인공지능/머신기능 기술의 교육적 활용, 학업 성취도 분석을 위한 학습 분석, 확장 현실 기술 등이 있다. 이 중 학습 분석 기술은 학습자의 학업 성취도를 높이기 위한 방법으로 사용되는 유용한 기술이기도 하며 고등교육에 영향을 줄 가장 핵심 트렌드이기도 하다. 그러나 현실 학습에 적용하는데는 데이터 격차, 품질 문제, 개인 정보보호에 대한 문제 등 윤리적 문제를 함께 고려해야한다. 본 연구를 기반으로 한 향후 학습 분석 시스템을 개발하고자 한다.

Digital twins are gaining attention and traction across various industries and societies owing to their potential for technological advancement, utilization, and service innovation. Digital twins involve creating a software system that mirrors a real-world entity, enabling them to interact and cooperate, therfore resembling interaction between a real-world entity and a digital twin. By recognizing the importance of this technology, international standardization efforts for digital twins are actively underway toward enhancing its application across various industrial sectors. We aims to provide an overview of the current status and future prospects of digital twin standardization, focusing on the ISO/TC 184/SC 4 and ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 41 efforts.

This study focuses on the trends and issues of improving safety management of elevators in Korea. Frequency and severity of accidents in relation to conditional pass in periodic inspection, maintenance, market surveillance are analyzed based on the statistical data and social cost due to a variety of related fields in managing elevator safety was estimated first. The results of statistical analysis performed in this study will provide logical basis and future direction for improving the safety management system. The role of certification and supervision is particularly addressed to reduce the related accidents and the social cost. The effectiveness of such procedures can be found from the results of simple statistical analysis.

전세계는 소위 21세기 정보사회 진입을 향한 각종의 정보 기반구조 건설을 추진중에 있으며 국제표준화 기구를 비롯한 지역별, 국가별 표준화 기관들은 상호 연동환경 보장 및 적기 표준 공급을 위한 GII(Global Information Infrastructure) 표준화 추진계획을 발표하고 있다. 본 고에서는 ITU-T를 비롯한 ETSI(European Telecommunication Standards Institute), T1 Committee, TTC(Telecommunication Technology Council), GSC(Global Standards Collaboration) 등의 GII 표준화 활동현황을 기술하고, 초고속 정보통신 기반구축을 위한 표준화의 중요성 및 우리의 대응방안을 살펴보고자 한다.

백색 OLED 조명 기술의 실용화가 사정거리에 들어왔다. 다양한 제조 기술도 검토되기 시작하였고, 일부 샘플 출하도 시작되었다. 최근에는 수명, 효율도 함께 크게 개선되었고, 또한 고연색성 향상도 동시에 실현될 수 있는 디바이스 개발이 진행되고 있다. 최근에 선두업체들은 조명전문 업체를 설립하여 제품 출하를 시작하고 있다. 본 고에서는 스타트라인에 와 있는 OLED 조명 기술의 현황과 꼭 풀어내어야 할 과제에 대하여 살펴보고 그 장래의 방향성에 대하여 의견을 개진하고자 한다.

In this paper, the contemporary deployment of broadband and Internet-of-Things (IoT) services based on the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communication network is presented. First, the global service and key technologies of small and nanosatellites are briefly addressed, and then, the progress of relevant standard technologies is explained. Finally, the overall potential for the future development of the LEO satellite communication network is highlighted.

As the world population increases and technology advances, the energy consumption and need for more energy increase. Communities and governments regularly address these needs and set policies for future energy generation and uses. This paper reviews current energy policies of the USA and the current trends in research and development efforts, for sustainable and renewable energy sources. Furthermore, the recent topic of IEEE's Smart Grid initiatives is discussed, and its role in the dielectrics and electrical insulation research is presented.

정보통신기기들의 융.복합화와 함께 미래 네트워크는 인간 중심적인 네트워크로 발전할 전망이다. 특히 현재 진행되고 있는 가입자 단말의 융합기술과 더불어 주변환경에 친화적인 인간 감성을 기반으로 하는 스마트 단말 및 스마트 네트워크 노드들이 주류를 이룰 것이다. 빠르게 진화하고 있는 정보통신 기술의 미래를 예측한다는 것은 상당히 어려운 일이나 본 논문에서는 현재 연구되고 있는 요소 기술들을 기반으로 향후10년 이후의 미래 네트워크를 전망하고 국내외에서 일어나고 있는 연구 활동 등에 대해 기술하였다.

The rectifier is the main element in the telecom DC power system. This paper investigates the advantages and disadvantages of three rectifier techniques ; thyristor, ferro - resonant, and switched - mode. Compared with other techniques, the switched - mode rectifier tech¬nique offers several advantages such as higher efficiency, smaller size and weight, and lower audible noise. Technical requirements in telecom rectifier plant are also described. Finally, the future trends in telecom powering are discussed in connection with the advance oftelecom net¬works.
