In this paper some of the important trends in the spacecraft technology development have been discussed. Trends of higher satellite radiate power, which involves higher TWTA powers and antenna reconfiguration, and Ka-band (30/20 G $H_{z}$) utilization are discussed. Evolutionary trends in satellite communications in general have demonstrated immense potential for meeting the evolving nees and challenges regarding provision of global telecommunications during over past two decades. Their promise for the coming decades as we enter the 21st century may far surpass our imagination. The expansion of fixed satellite service market will depend upon more inelligent spacecraft and a network of more cost effective small earth stations. Radiation hardened microwave analog technologies and high speed digital technologies are getting ready to meet the challenge posed by future markets. At present commercial satellite communications are going through a trasition period.d.

This study deals with the technological trends in the automobile recycling technologies. It first discusses the importance and current situation of automobile recycling. And then it discusses the technological trends in automobile recycling industry classifying the technologies into three groups: disassemblying, recycling, and design. It deals with recycling of major parts of automobiles and the design of automobile for recyclability. This study also contains a patent analysis of the technologies. Different patterns in the trend of patents among various conn-tries are discussed with the context of legal and industrial situation of each country And finally it discusses the forecasting for the future technological and legislative trends.

본 연구는 한국문헌정보학분야의 연구동향을 규명하고 학문의 연구영역과 타 학문과의 주제 의존도 및 문헌정보학의 지적구조 변화를 조사하였다. 인용패턴을 이용한 계량적 방법을 이용, 연구의 동향과 변화를 대응분석 방법을 적용하였다. 조사결과 문헌정보학을 비롯한 정보학분야에 대한 의존도가 크게 나타났으며, 학문의 이론 및 응용기법의 활용도가 높은 컴퓨터 관련 전산학이 부상될 것으로 예상된다.

Wireless communication for train control is an active research field. The World Railway Federation in Europe developed GSM-R, which integrates the GSM-based voice call standard and train control signals. To provide advanced railway services, the LTE-R wireless communication system was developed in Korea for passenger services and wireless image information required by the railroad industry. Recently, direct communication technology for autonomous train driving has been studied to decrease the driving interval, and research is being conducted on a hyperloop train control system that runs at a maximum speed of 1,220km/h in a subvacuum environment of 0.001 atmosphere. In this paper, we summarize the trends in wireless communication technologies used for GSM-R/LTE-R railway systems. For future wireless communication in railway systems, we discuss autonomous train driving and the hyperloop railway control system, define wireless communication technology, and discuss trends in domestic and foreign technologies.

In this paper, we analyze the current research technology trends through the literature reviews of technical outlines of electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, domestic and overseas policy trends, etc. After analyzing the literature, we found out while the re-use and recycling of waste batteries and the in-wheel motor systems are essential areas for the development of electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, the related research is not quite sufficient, so the direction for further research is proposed at the conclusion.

Social media is a window for everyone, individuals, communities, and companies to spread ideas and promote trends and products. With these opportunities, challenges and problems related to security, privacy and rights arose. Also, the data accumulated from social media has become a fertile source for many analytics, inference, and experimentation with new technologies in the field of data science. In this chapter, emphasis will be given to methods of trend analysis, especially ensemble learning methods. Ensemble learning methods embrace the concept of cooperation between different learning methods rather than competition between them. Therefore, in this chapter, we will discuss the most important trends in ensemble learning and their applications in analysing social media data and anticipating the most important future trends.

In these days, MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical system) devices become the crucial sensor components in mobile devices, automobiles and several electronic consumer products. For MEMS devices, the packaging determines the performance, reliability, long-term stability and the total cost of the MEMS devices. Therefore, the packaging technology becomes a key issue for successful commercialization of MEMS devices. As the IoT and wearable devices are emerged as a future technology, the importance of the MEMS sensor keeps increasing. However, MEMS devices should meet several requirements such as ultra-miniaturization, low-power, low-cost as well as high performances and reliability. To meet those requirements, several innovative technologies are under development such as integration of MEMS and IC chip, TSV(through-silicon-via) technology and CMOS compatible MEMS fabrication. It is clear that MEMS packaging will be key technology in future MEMS. In this paper, we reviewed the recent development trends of the MEMS packaging. In particular, we discussed and reviewed the recent technology trends of the MEMS bonding technology, such as low temperature bonding, eutectic bonding and thermo-compression bonding.

Purpose: This descriptive study was conducted in order to investigate the research trends of past nursing studies related to disasters in Korea, and to identify the direction of future research. Methods: Fifty studies conducted from July 1995 to June 2014 were analyzed according to general characteristics, disaster phase, disaster type, and research theme based on the four areas and 10 domains of the ICN Framework of Disaster Nursing Competencies. Results: The majority of studies were designed using quantitative methods (29). In disaster type, 12 studies explored natural disasters, and 14 explored manmade disasters. Disaster responders were the subject of 31 studies. In relation to research topics, the majority of studies were in the area of preparedness competencies of the ICN Framework (26). The studies were concentrated in the domain of education and preparedness (24). Conclusion: The total number of studies on disasters had increased over the years, while the topics failed to deal with all domains of the ICN Framework. The results indicate that the future direction of nursing research on disasters is to be vitalized through the flexibility of research design, systematic approach based on global perspectives, research on emergency responders and vulnerable people, and research relating to community-based disaster nursing.

최근 사물 인터넷 기술은 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스와 그리드 컴퓨팅 등 새로운 기술들과 함께 이슈가 되고 있다. 이러한 사물 인터넷은 스마트 기기의 발전으로 더욱 그 활용범위가 커지고 있으며, 여러 산업 분야에서 많은 관심을 갖고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 사물 인터넷의 기술과 동향을 분석해 봄으로써, 미래 IT분야에 적응할 수 있는 준비가 필요한 시점이라고 본다. 따라서 본고에서는 이와 같은 사물 인터넷의 다양한 기술들과 구축사례를 분석해 봄으로써, 향후, 국내 사물 인터넷의 로드맵과 환경 구축의 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

For the purpose of designing more successful cancer research, the strategy for cancer study in the field of Traditional Korean Medicine(TKM) during the 21th century was examined from the analysis of trends on cancer study in traditional korean medicine. The results were summarized as follows: 1. So far cancer research in TKM was chiefly done on cytotoxicity, side-effects by chemotherapy, tumor immunology, apoptosis, survival time with S-180 and pulmonary colonization assay and also clonogenic assay, cell adhesion assay, angiogenesis, cell-differentiation and side-effect by radiotherapy were partly performed. 2. It may be ideal that we should study synergistic effect between constituent drugs of prescriptions, tumor immunology, combined therapy between western and oriental medicines by reducing side-effect by radiotherapy and chemotherapy and antimetastasis according to the characteristics of oriental medicine chiefly and also supplement the studies on molecular biology, gene therapy, angiogensis and signal transduction. 3. We had better do specific-field research in cooperation between oriental medical colleges and Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine(KIOM) as well as study a target cancers such as hepatic cancer, pulmonary cancer and gastric cancer more intensively than all cancers domestically. 4. Our country must keep communication with China having many clinical data, Taiwan chiefly doing the combined tharapy between oriental and western medicines, Japan having done basic study actively on cancer.
