3년이 넘게 진행되었던 SK와 넷플릭스 간 분쟁은 소송을 취하하고 양사가 협력 관계를 맺는 방향으로 일단락되었다. 하지만 디지털 대전환, 생성형AI 활성화 등으로 인해 인터넷 트래픽 이용량은 향후 더욱 늘어날 가능성이 있어 망이용대가를 둘러싼 국내 이동통신사와 글로벌 CP 사업자간 갈등은 언제든지 다시 발생할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 SK와 넷플릭스 사이에 발생했던 망이용대가와 관련된 분쟁의 쟁점을 살펴보고 각 쟁점에 따른 함의를 도출했다. 망이용대가의 유상성 및 범위는 전적으로 사업자 간 협상에 의해 결정되어야 하는 사안이다. 다만, 사업자 간 분쟁이 발생하게 되면 속도 지연 등 이용자의 피해가 발생할 수 있으므로 이에 대한 정책적 대안에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 국내 미디어 산업은 글로벌 CP와 협력적으로 성장해 온 측면이 있어 향후 망이용대가와 관련해 국내 이동통신사업자와 글로벌 CP 사업자 간 호혜적인 관계 형성이 중요하다고 판단된다. 하지만 사업자간 상생을 위해서라도 향후 발생할 수 있는 갈등을 중재할 수 있는 대안에 대한 학술적 검토는 이뤄질 필요가 있다.

게임이 디자인 전반에 걸쳐 다양한 형태로 활용되면서 인터넷 광고의 패러다임도 변화하고 있으며, 게임을 이용하여 특정 정보나 브랜드, 캐릭터, 이미지 등을 노출시켜 사용자에게 광고의 정보를 전달하는 게임성향 배너광고를 통해 광고의 목적을 극대화하는 기업도 점점 늘고 있는 추세이다. 하지만 이러한 양적팽창에도 불구하고 클릭률 통계조사에 따르면 0.5% 이하로 낮은 클릭률을 보이고 있다[4]. 이에 본 연구는 수요가 많아지고 있는 게임성향 배너광고의 어떠한 표현요소가 사용자 뇌리에 깊은 인상을 줄 수 있으며, 사용자의 적극적이고 능동적인 인터넷 배너광고 접근을 위한 더욱 강조되어야 할 표현요소가 무엇이 있는지에 대해 실험해 보았다. 현재 인터넷을 통해 광고 중인 게임성향 배너광고를 분야별로 선별하여 7가지 항목에 의해 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 추후 게임성향 배너광고 제작 시 보다 체계적이며 효율적인 가이드라인이 될 것으로 기대한다.

본 연구에서는 무선인터넷의 교육적 활용을 위해 국내 무선인터넷 기술현황과 이용실태에 알아보고 관련연구 및 사례분석을 통해, 이를 바탕으로 현 시점에서 적용 가능한 '행렬 OX 퀴즈'를 설계 및 구현 하였다. 본 시스템의 주요 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존의 유선인터넷의 시간적, 공간적 제약을 탈피하여 무선인터넷 시대에 맞는 교육콘텐츠를 제시함으로써 교육적 효과를 거두고자 하였다. 둘째, 현재의 무선인터넷 사용 환경과 기술을 충분히 고려하여 휴대폰을 무선 인터넷 단말기로 선택하였고, 현재 가입자 수가 가장 많은 SK텔레콤의 WAP방식 Markup언어를 지원하여 사용자의 편의성을 증진시켰다. 셋째, 무선인터넷 활용수업을 통해 학생의 자기주도 학습 능력을 신장시킬 수 있다. 특히, 무선인터넷 활용 수업을 통해 자신의 학습에 대한 책임감을 높이고 직면한 학습 문제를 해결하는 데 필요한 기술과 능력을 키울 수 있다. 본 연구에서 구현된 교육콘텐츠는 무선인터넷이 보편화되면 충분한 교육적 효과가 기대된다.

전자상거래의 발달로 출판유통시장에서의 인터넷 서점의 비중은 해마다 높아지고 있다. 전자책의 보급에 따라 인터넷 서점에서의 도서검색은 앞으로 더욱 활발해질 것이며, 인터넷 서점의 도서 분류체계의 중요성 또한 지속적으로 높아질 것으로 예상된다. 이 연구는 인터넷 서점 사회과학 도서의 효율적인 검색을 제공하기 위한 목적에서 이루어졌으며, 국내 외 10개 인터넷 서점의 분류체계를 분석하였다. 또한 사회과학 도서 분류체계 설계안을 구성하여 향후 사회과학 도서의 분류체계 설계에 활용될 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였다.

Objective : Current study investigated the association between internet addiction and suicidal attempts in psychiatric patients. Methods : Patients who visited emergency department or psychiatry outpatient unit of Chungnam National University Hospital from January 2020 to July 2021 were included in this study. Total of 192 participants, 96 suicidal attempt cases and 96 psychiatric control patients without history of suicidal attempt were matched by gender and baseline diagnosis. Depression and internet addiction were assessed by using Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and Young's Internet Addiction Test (IAT). Independent t-tests, and logistic regression analyses were conducted. Results : IAT scores were significantly higher in suicidal attempt case group (41.09±18.196 years) compared to psychiatric control patients without history of suicidal attempt (36.63±17.016 years) (p=0.040). Internet addiction (adjusted Odds Ratio [aOR]=2.049, 95% Confidence Interval [CI]=1.004-4.539, p=0.0493) was an independent risk factor for suicidal attempt in psychiatric patients after controlling age, gender, and sociodemographic factors, such as marital status, education level and employment status. Conclusion : This is the first study to investigate the relationship between internet addiction and suicidal attempt in psychiatric patients in Korea. Internet addiction is significantly associated with suicidal attempt in psychiatric patients, after adjusting sociodemographic variables. This study provides evidence to future studies to further investigate on causality of internet addiction and suicidality in psychiatric patients.

Internet brand community's message makes significant contributions for fashion industry. Therefore, if we understand and implement the characteristics of the message on the Internet brand's community, it can be useful for future marketing strategy. This study was to classified the internet community and to examine messages with regard to direction, write motive and prior knowledge. The messages were taken from February, 20th, to August, 7th in 2008. Content analysis method was used for this study. The results were as follows: First, Fashion brand community divided into user initiative type and enterprise establishing type. Second, User initiative type had positive direction message more than enterprise establishing type had. Third, User initiative type had large volumes of information searching or sharing related message, but enterprise establishing type had large quantities of personal experience related message about write motive. Fourth, There was no difference numerical prior knowledge between user initiative type and enterprise establishing type, and then both had a high rate of prior knowledge.

In most of the world, the current trend in information technology is for open data movement that promotes transparency and equal access. An opposite trend is observed in China, which has the world's largest Internet population. The country has implemented sophisticated cyber-infrastructure and practices under the name of The Golden Shield Project (commonly referred to as the Great Firewall) to limit access to popular international web services and to filter traffic containing 'undesirable' political content. Increasingly, tech-savvy Chinese bypass this firewall and use Twitter to share knowledge on censorship circumvention and encryption to collectively troubleshoot firewall evasion methods, and even mobilize actions that border on activism. Using a mixed mythological approach, the current study addresses such networked knowledge sharing among citizens in a restricted web ecosystem. On the theoretical front, this study uses webometric approaches to understand change agents and positive deviant in the diffusion of censorship circumvention technology. On policy-level, the study provides insights for Internet regulators and digital rights groups to help best utilize communication networks of positive deviants to counter Internet control.

클라우드 컴퓨팅을 사용하는 사물 인터넷 (IoT)은 원자력 발전소 사고가 안전성 평가를 위해 분석되는 원자력 산업에 적용된다. 후쿠시마 원자력 발전소 사고는 지진으로 인한 플랜트 고장 사고가 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술 분석에 사용되는 사고 시뮬레이션을 위해 모델링되었습니다. 후쿠시마의 경우 자연 재해에 대한 빠르고 합리적인 치료가 필요했다. 실시간 안전 평가 (RTSA)와 몬테카를로 실시간 평가 (MCRTA)가 구성된다. 이 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 미래의 유사한 사고에 대비할 수있는 실용적인 방법을 제공 할 수 있습니다.

ITU-T's NgN(Next generation Network) architecture is expected to offer a new Internet platforms such as QoS(Quality of Service) guaranteed services as it overcame the limitations of the existing best-effort Internet architecture. However, policy development crucial for the NgN framework(e.g., interconnections and billing) is lagging far behind technology development. For example, arguments over network neutrality clearly indicate little understanding of the Internet industry structure where diverse providers including ISP and CP coexist. This study employs a network economics approach to predict how the competitive landscape involving various providers will evolve under the traffic-based billing system under the NgN environment. Applied is the non-cooperative game theory, in particular, Stackelberg's repeated game in order to build and analyze model for competition among those providers. We also studied possible impacts that CPs would have on the competitive landscape if they have an option to replace ISP: i.e., CDN(Content Delivery Network) provider. Lastly, based on the model analysis and experiments, presented are their implications to policy development and tile future prospect.
