In this paper, we propose the methodology based on data-driven approach using Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning for classifying requirements into functional requirements and non-functional requirements. Through the analysis of the results of the requirements classification, we have learned that the trained models derived from requirements classification with data-preprocessing and classification algorithm based on the characteristics and information of existing requirements that used term weights based on TF and IDF outperformed the results that used stemming and stop words to classify the requirements into functional and non-functional requirements. This observation also shows that the term weight calculated without removal of the stemming and stop words influenced the results positively. Furthermore, we investigate an optimized method for the study of classifying software requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
This article reports an attempt to perform a similarity analysis on a collection of 25 culinary manuscripts in Chosun periods using a set of quantitative text analysis methods. Historical culinary texts are valuable resources for linguistic, historic, and cultural studies. We consider the similarity of two texts as the distributional similarities of the functional components of the texts. In the case of culinary texts, text elements such as food names, cooking methods, and ingredients are regarded as functional components. We derive the similarity information from the distributional characteristics of the two key functional components, cooking methods and ingredients. The results are also quantified and visualized to achieve a better understanding of the properties of the individual texts and the collection of the texts as a whole.

This paper presents the architectural aspects of the phrase analyzer that attempts to recognize phrases and identify the functional roles in the sentences in formal Japanese documents. Since the object of interest is a phrase, the current system, designed in an object-oriented architecture, contains the Phrase class, and makes use of the linguistic generalization about languages with Case markers that a phrase, whether a noun phrase, a verb phrase, a postposition (or preposition) phrase or a clause phrase, can be separated into the content and the function components. Without a dictionary, and drawing on the orthographic information on the words to parse, it also contains a class that identifies the types of characters, a class representing grammar, and a class playing the role of a controller. The system has a simple and intuitive structure, externally and internally, and therefore is easy to modify and extend.

The purpose of this study is to measure of importancy on functional technologies of 4S. This study is significant to both developer and users, since there is little research pertaining functional technologies for 4S. In this paper, we classify functional technologies for 4S with due regard to standards of ISO. Then we analysis the frequency of importance each technologies in the view of developer and users. This research can improve the usability of 4S' products with stable and reliable.

There is an emerging interest in brain functional connectivity (FC) based on functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Alzheimer's disease (AD) studies. The complex and high-dimensional structure of FC makes it challenging to explore the association between altered connectivity and AD susceptibility. We develop a pipeline to refine FC as proper covariates in a penalized logistic regression model and classify normal and AD susceptible groups. Three different quantification methods are proposed for FC refinement. One of the methods is dimension reduction based on common component analysis (CCA), which is employed to address the limitations of the other methods. We applied the proposed pipeline to the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) data and deduced pathogenic FC biomarkers associated with AD susceptibility. The refined FC biomarkers were related to brain regions for cognition, stimuli processing, and sensorimotor skills. We also demonstrated that a model using CCA performed better than others in terms of classification performance and goodness-of-fit.

This paper describes a methodology of product function deployment for understanding product functions and generating systematic functional relation charts. The product function deployment is based on the designer's understanding of product functions. The method involves following steps: 1) definition of product primary function and flows of energy, material, and information, 2) construction of a product tree using key parts, 3) definition of functions and interactions of the functional units, 4) construction of 'from-to' relation matrices, 5) grouping of the parts, and 6) construction of functional relation charts. With this approach, functional relation charts can be generated such that complex product functions are easily understood. The functional relation chart of a refrigerator is generated as an example.
Many system devices for fluoroscopic and general X-ray studies in diagnostic radiographic system have been being changed from analog mode to digital mode. In addition, among diagnostic imaging and radiologic examinations, fluoroscopic studies that requires functional diagnosis is being widely used. The video recording method of fluoroscopic studies has been useful in functional image diagnosis and dynamic image observation, but the utility of its image quality is being reduced because of limitation in setting play segments of the video player, inconvenience of play, difficulties in preserving reproduced images, the change of image quality, etc. In order to complement these shortages, it is necessary to facilitate access to patient diagnosis information such as storing, editing and sharing functional diagnosis images in response to the trend of the digitalization of digital radiographic & fluoroscopic system(DRF). Thus this study designed and implemented a device of storing functional dynamic images real time using a computer rather than existing video recording, aiming at contribution to functional image diagnosis.
In this paper we generalize the superstability of the exponential functional equation proved by J. Baker et al. [2], that is, we solve an exponential type functional equation $$f(x+y)\;=\;a^{xy}f(x)f(y)$$ and obtain the superstability of this equation. Also we generalize the stability of the exponential type equation in the spirt of R. Ger[4] of the following setting $$|{\frac{f(x\;+\;y)}{{a^{xy}f(x)f(y)}}}\;-\;1|\;{\leq}\;{\delta}.$$

The purpose of this study was to develop generalized validity evaluation indexes for the Sasang type diagnostic test. As a generalized evaluation index for Sasang type diagnostic test, Generalized Squared Correlation (GC2), Mutual Information (I) and Mutual Information Coefficient (IC) as overall validity index, and Correlation Coefficient (C) and Mutual Information Contribution (ID) as type-specific validity index were suggested and the practicability of these indexes was assessed along with Percentage Correctly Predicted (PCP), adjusted PCP, type-specific sensitivity and type-specific specificity which was proposed previously. The usefulness of the nine validity indexes was examined using previously reported data and three mock Sasang type diagnosis results. We demonstrated here that the PCP is not adequate for the analysis of validity. We also showed that our validity index is recommendable for the comparison and improvement of Sasang type diagnosis. The generalized validity analysis of Sasang type diagnosis can provide a guideline for the development of new Sasang type diagnosis or pattern identification. The working sheet for calculating validity indexes can be acquired at http://www.sasangtypology.org/validity.
Background: Green tea extracts are approved as nonprescription drug and available as health functional foods, health foods, and beverages. Clinical information on the products is lacking. Methods: Information about the products on green tea nonprescription drugs was obtained from the website of the Korea Pharmaceutical Information Center. The Naver, i.e., a top ranking online search portal, was used for compiling the list of the health functional food products using key words of 'green tea catechin' on August 23, 2018. The recommended daily dosages of catechins were calculated as 30% of the total dried mass of green tea and about 50% of the catechins were considered as epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Results: A total of two types of nonprescription drugs containing green tea powder or extracts, nine health functional food products, and three types of health foods were found. The regulatory requirements of the EGCG exceeding 800 mg were reported to be associated with adverse effects of elevated liver enzyme. If consumers take several green tea products concurrently, such as nonprescription drugs with health functional foods or health foods, it could exceed the recommended amount of EGCG. Conclusion: The concurrent use of green tea products as nonprescription drugs, health functional foods, and healthy foods may lead to an increased exposure to EGCG. Pharmacists should be aware the availability of various types of green tea products and the potential risk of liver toxicity due to excessive consumption of EGCG.
