최근 기록학계에 기록화 전략(documentation strategy)에 관한 연구가 꾸준히 발표되고 있으나, 우리나라에서 헬렌 사무엘스가 제시한 기관기능분석(institutional functional analysis) 방법론을 적용한 실제 사례나 연구는 진행된 바가 거의 없다. 기관기능분석은 거시적인 차원에서 기관의 본질적인 기능을 정의함으로써 기록에 대한 포괄적인 이해를 제공하는 방법론이다. 기관기능분석으로 도출된 기록화 영역은 아키비스트가 기관의 기록을 선별하여 남기기 위한 일종의 선험적인 틀로 기능한다. 즉, 기관기능분석 방법론을 통해 기관의 기능을 분석함으로써, 현행 기록처리일정표에서 담보하지 못하는 기능을 거시적인 차원에서 식별하여 해당 조직의 업무 활동에 대한 설명책임성 확보가 가능한 것이다. 미국의 기록화 프로젝트는 이러한 배경에 부합하는 대표적인 사례이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 미국 의회의 사례를 분석함으로써, 미국 의회와 같은 성격의 국가기관인 우리나라 국회에 기관기능분석을 적용할 때 필요한 시사점을 도출하여 제안하였다. 이를 위해 우선 선행연구의 성격으로 기관기능분석에 관한 이론적 논의를 살펴보았다. 둘째, 미국 의회 기록화 프로젝트를 기관기능분석에 따른 기능별로 사례 분석하였다. 셋째, 사례 분석 결과를 토대로 시사점을 도출함으로써 우리나라 국회에 적용 가능한 기록화 영역을 제안하였다.

Gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) is a popular tool to identify underlying biological processes in clinical samples using their gene expression phenotypes. GSEA measures the enrichment of annotated gene sets that represent biological processes for differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in clinical samples. GSEA may be suboptimal for functional gene sets; however, because DEGs from the expression dataset may not be functional genes per se but dysregulated genes perturbed by bona fide functional genes. To overcome this shortcoming, we developed network-based GSEA (NGSEA), which measures the enrichment score of functional gene sets using the expression difference of not only individual genes but also their neighbors in the functional network. We found that NGSEA outperformed GSEA in identifying pathway gene sets for matched gene expression phenotypes. We also observed that NGSEA substantially improved the ability to retrieve known anti-cancer drugs from patient-derived gene expression data using drug-target gene sets compared with another method, Connectivity Map. We also repurposed FDA-approved drugs using NGSEA and experimentally validated budesonide as a chemical with anti-cancer effects for colorectal cancer. We, therefore, expect that NGSEA will facilitate both pathway interpretation of gene expression phenotypes and anti-cancer drug repositioning. NGSEA is freely available at www.inetbio.org/ngsea.

The purpose of this study is to examine the university students' awareness and attitudes on functional clothing materials, and to explore the effects of subjects' characteristics on the relationship between their attitudes to and images of the functional clothing materials. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to university students and 409 of which were used in data analysis. The data were statistically analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, t-test, ANOVA. The results were as follows: students thought that the first and foremost 'function' of functional clothing materials is their light-weight. The functions that consumers practically demanded are water-repellency and high absorbency & quick drying. It showed that students have an image that functional clothing materials have special, good and satisfactory qualities. Goretex and Coolmax were the most selected as brands of functional clothing materials which students knew. Attitudes to functional clothing materials revealed positively in the cognitive, behavioral and affectional attitudes. The attitudes had no significant differences according to sex and their major, but they had significant differences by subjects' amount of allowance, frequency of sports participation and sports ability. In other words, the more amount of allowance they get, the more frequently students do exercise, and the higher sports ability they have, the more positive attitude they have. The study says, in conclusion, that their conception of functional clothing materials has positive relations with their attitudes toward them.

The purpose of this study is to examine the changes and the using condition of functional cosmetics through articles of newspaper and the survey on functional cosmetics. The data analysis examined newspaper articles that demonstrate a grasp of the general trends of cosmetics, and these articles were chosen from the "Cosmetics Newspapers" and the "Jangeop Newspaper" with content primarily emphasizing articles about cosmetics. All articles on functional cosmetics were collected for the period from 2000 to 2005, and excluding repeated articles a total of 703 cases were examined. In addition, a survey was performed to examine how much women are using functional cosmetics and what the current state of their use is. This survey was conducted from October $1{\sim}20$, 2004, and respondents consisted of 350 adult females living in the areas of Daejeon, North and South Chungcheong Provinces and Daegu. Responses from a total of 302 individuals were included in the data analysis. The results of this study show a situation where the current use of functional cosmetics is gradually increasing, and because of external changes in the skin resulting from the development of modern society, functional cosmetics are being used by women as a means of increasing their opportunities for personal expression due to their skin improvement effects as well as increased confidence and a sense of satisfaction.

Presented in this study is a top-down functional requirement analysis procedure and the desired functionalities for PDM system development, and the benefits of top-down approach over a conventional bottom-up approach is also shown. For the purpose of top-down requirement analysis for PDM system, this study proposes 4P modeling view. 4P modeling view is defined as a modeling perspective for classifying functional requirements and integrating product-related information objects that must be man-aged within PDM systems. Based on 4P modeling templates, benchmarking analysis of commercially major PDM products is conducted and as a result of this analysis, this study suggests desired functionalities for PDM system.

현대 과학기술의 발전으로 인해 함수 형태의 자료(functional data)는 기상학, 생물의학과 다양한 분야에서 발생하고 있으며 이러한 자료를 분석하는 것은 새롭고 흥미로운 통계과제라 할 수 있다. 스칼라 반응변수를 가진 함수형 선형회귀 모형(functional linear regression models with scalar response)은 널리 사용되는 함수형 자료 분석기법 중의 하나라 할 수 있고 이 회귀 모형에서 함수형 자료 (설명변수) 가 스칼라 반응변수에 영향력을 미치는지 검정하는 것은 중요한 문제라 할 수 있다. 최근, Kong 등은 함수형 주성분분석(functional principle component analysis)에 의한 차원 축소, 즉, 함수형 주성분분석 결과 얻어지는 고유함수(eigenfunctions)를 활용한 검정방법을 제안했다. 하지만, 그 고유함수들은 검정문제에서 관심사인 함수형 설명변수와 스칼라 반응변수의 연관성이 아니라 함수형 설명변수의 변동만을 고려하기 때문에 회귀문제에 사용하기에 일반적으로 적합한 기저가 아니다. 게다가, 자료로부터 추정하여야 하기 때문에 이 불필요한 추정오차가 검정 절차 성능에 포함될 가능성이 있다. 이러한 단점을 피하기 위해 본 논문에서는 기존의 고유기저함수가 아닌 고정기저(fixed basis)인 B-스플라인(B-splines) 함수를 활용한 검정 방법을 제안한고 모의실험을 통해 검정방법이 잘 작동한다는 것을 보여준다. 또한, 제안한 검정 방법은 B-스플라인의 국소화 성질 때문에 때론 효율적이고 직관적인 결과를 제공하는데 이를 모의실험과 실증자료 분석을 통해 보여줄 것이다.

We introduce the Landau-de Gennes model in order to understand molecular structures in ferroelectric liquid crystals. We investigate equilibrium configurations of the governing energy functional by means of bifurcation analysis. In particular, we obtain periodic solutions of the functional, which is a signature of a rich variety of applications of ferroelectric materials.

Amongst various analytic methods of internal structure of city, the factor analysis method which uses O-D matrix data has some merits and characteristics compared to other methods. 1) It is possible to find one certain interaction and flow pattern between traffic zones with in a city through reanalyzing O-D data which is too complex to grasp specific meaning or pattern of flow systems. 2) It can be easily visualized the traffic flow pattern by using adequate graphic techniques, and also can clarify the functional areas whose interaction linkages are significantly strong enough between each other. In this study, the taxi traffic O-D data between 42 traffic zones in Kwang-ju city was reanalyzied by varimax rotated factor analysis methods. As a result, four factors that have significant level factor loading (over 0.5 ) and factor score (over 1.0) were sorted out. so to speak four different functional areas were clarified in Kwang-ju city, of the West, the East, the south, and the North functional areas whose interaction linkages are significantly strong enough between each other. In the study, the taxi traffic O-D data between 42 traffic zones in Kwang-ju city was reanalyzied by varimax rotated factor analysis methods. As a result, four factors that have significant level factor loading (over 0.5) and factor score 9over 1.0) were sorted out. so to speak four different functional areas were clarified in Kwang-ju city, of the West, the East, the South, and the North functional area, then these four functional areas are almost coincided with citizen's general conception of community division and administrative district. Accordingly the factor analysis methods using traffic data seems to proved to be very accurate and useful analytic instruments for analyzing flow pattern and clarifying functional areas of city, and believed to provide basic informations and criteria for practical urban land use planning and transportation planning.

This study aims to quantitatively understand the influence of changes in functional cosmetics purchasing sentiment on purchasing behavior and purchase satisfaction after the COVID-19 pandemic and present empirical analysis results regarding the rapidly changing cosmetics consumption market. This study empirically analyzed the structural relationship between non-face-to-face service purchase behavior, functional cosmetics purchase behavior, and functional cosmetics purchase satisfaction to predict purchase behavior of functional cosmetics by psychological characteristics after COVID-19. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 (Statistical Package for Social Science) program and Amos 21.0, and correlation analysis was performed to understand the relationship between consumers' purchasing behaviors of functional cosmetics according to their perception of risk of COVID-19 carried out.Summarizing the results of this study, it was found that the higher the anxiety after the corona outbreak, the higher the non-face-to-face service purchase behavior and the functional cosmetics purchase behavior. It was found that purchase satisfaction increased when purchasing behavior of functional cosmetics increased, but purchase satisfaction decreased as anxiety increased after the outbreak of Corona.In this study, a sample of 1452 people were used as research data, and the theoretical implications for the development of functional cosmetics were presented by confirming the effect of changes in non-face-to-face service purchase behavior according to psychological characteristics after Corona 19 on consumer satisfaction.

Objective : This study is for providing data about men's functional sport underpants. It provides the fundamental data of biomechanics by measuring and analyzing the functionality of various underpants using infrared thermal image camera. Method : Then author drew a conclusion based on the final analysis of 965 questionnaire survey results about issues on men's functional sport underpants after discarding invalid questionnaires, as following. Change in body temperature while wearing functional underpants compared to general briefs or boxer pants showed lower temperature by approximately 1~2 degrees Celsius. In the case of general underpants, wearer sweats and feels hotter due to the friction of penis, scrotum and thigh. However functional sport functional underpants improved this issue with ergonomic 3D design by putting penis towards the lower part of the abdomen(below the navel) while putting the scrotum comfortably on the testicles, which enables to make room between the penis, scrotum and thigh of a wearer. Results : This was analyzed to lower the temperature of penis and scrotum. The survey results about the quality of functional underpants showed that 78% of the respondents felt comfortable while driving; 68.5% replied that frictional heat decreased while working out; 78.7% felt less sweat and humidity; 81.7% replied as highly wearable and comfortable; 77.1% replied functional sport underpants were the most comfortable in routine lives or in workout times. Putting all such results together, it is possible to conclude that functional sport is an excellent product. Conclusion : This can be evaluated as an excellent functional sport underpants, towards the penis abdomen (under the navel) in 3D human engineering design, by the scrotum to wearing to be easier to scrotum of pocket, the penis and scrotum and thighs were separated and analyzed with a function that will lower the body temperature of the penis and scrotum.
