블렌디드 러닝 환경에서 사회 연결망 중심도와 학습자 성과 간의 상관관계 (Correlation Between Social Network Centrality and College Students' Performance in Blended Learning Environment)

  • 본 연구는 오프라인 수업을 온라인 토론이 보조하는 블렌디드 러닝 형태의 대학교 수업 상황에서 학습자의 적에 미치는 사회 연결망의 효과를 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. '사이버 학습 세미나' 과목을 수강하는 36명의 교육대학교 학생들을 대상으로 교우 연결망 중심도, 조언 연결망 중심도, 그리고 적대 연결망 중심도 등 세 가지 사회 연결망 변수들을 측정한 후, 이를 기말 과제 및 시험 점수 등 학습자 성과 변수들과의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 조언 연결망 중심도와 교우 연결망 중심도는 학습 성과와 정적 상관관계를 보이고 있었던 반면, 적대 연결망 중심도는 대부분분의 성과 변수들과 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 온라인 토론의 양과 질은 교우 연결망 중심도 및 조언 연결망 중심도와 높은 상관을 보였으며, 특히 그 질은 조언 연결망과 매우 높은 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다.

소셜 데이터를 위한 효율적인 데이터 처리 기법 (Efficient Data Processing Method for Social Data)

  • The evolution of the Web from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 has brought up new platforms as SNSs(Social Network Service) that are used by users to articulate and manage their relationships. SNSs are an online phenomenon which has become extremely popular. A SNS essentially consists of a representation of each user, his/her social links, and a variety of additional services. SNSs are increasingly attracting the attention of academic and industry researchers. What makes SNS unique is that they have a relationship with friends. The friend recommendation is one important feature of social networking services. People tend to trust the opinions of friends they know rather than the opinions of strangers. In this paper, we propose an efficient data processing method for social data. We study previous researches about social score in social network service. Our ESS(Efficient Social Score) is computed by both friendship weight and score of a document that was tagged by a user's friends. Our experimental results also confirm that our method has good performance.

온라인 환경에서 친교욕구가 시민행동에 끼치는 영향 (Examining the Impact of Online Friendship Desire on Citizenship Behavior)

  • In line with network technology development and smart device penetration, the social network service (SNS) has expanded its influence. The SNS which is a service based on communication and sharing among people, has grown based on users' voluntary engagement and participation and its influence has appeared beyond the cyberspace into the overall areas of domestic and foreign culture and society. In particular, SNS-based real-time communication during diverse disasters, can help prevent further damage. By sharing information on social donation activities and environmental campaigns, people have used SNS as a tool to change the society in a more positive way. Such series of activities functioning as a power to change the society have been made much faster and wider through the help of a new media called SNS. To better understand such trends, we are required to study about the SNS and its user relationships first. In this context, this study sought to identify the effects of people's desire to build friendships through SNS on the voluntary and society-friendly activities of people. This study considers online pro-social behavior and proposes online citizenship behavior. Citizenship behavior has been examined in organization context. That is, organizational citizenship behavior explains an employee's pro-social behavior in an organization context. Organizational citizenship behavior is characterized by the individual's helping others and promoting the functioning of the organization. By applying organizational citizenship behavior to an online context, we propose online citizenship behavior, an individual's pro-social behavior in an online context. An individual's pro-social behavior, i.e., online citizenship behavior, could be considered as a way for the better management of online community and society. It also needs to examine the development of online citizenship behavior. This study examined online citizenship behavior from the friendship desire. Because online society or community is characterized by online relationships between members, the friendship between members would lead to pro-social behavior, i.e., helping others and promoting the functioning of the online society, in such online context. This study further examines the antecedents of friendship desire in terms of SNS interactivity with its four factors. The findings based on the survey from real SNS users explain that the three factors of SNS interactivity (connectivity, enjoyment, and synchronicity) increases online friendship desire which then increases online citizenship behavior significantly. This study contributes to the literature by examining the key role of online friendship desire in leading to online citizenship behavior and identifying its antecedents in terms of SNS characteristics. The findings in this study also provide guidance on how to manage online society and how to promote the effective functioning of SNS.

지연 감내 네트워크에서 사회관계기반 기회적 라우팅 기법 (An Opportunistic Routing Scheme Based on Social Relations in Delay-Tolerant Networks)

  • 지연 감내 네트워크는 지속적인 연결이 보장되지 않고 저장(Store), 운반(Carry), 전달(Forward) 방식의 메시지 전달을 사용 하는 네트워크이다. 이러한 지연 감내 네트워크에서 메시지 전달은 중요한 연구 이슈이며, 최근 많은 라우팅 기법들이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 노드들의 사회관계와 확장 매개 중심도를 이용하여 효율적인 지연 감내 네트워크에서 라우팅 기법을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 Epidemic routing, Friendship routing에 비해 적은 메시지 전달 성공률차이를 유지하며, 메시지 전달 비용에는 효율적임을 보인다.

  • The Internet of Things(IoT) is a new promising technology made from a variety of technology. The IoT links the objects or people, then enabling anytime, anywhere connectivity for anything and not only for anyone. Social networking services have changed the way people communicate. Recently, new research challenges in many areas of Internet of things and social networking services are fired. In this paper, we propose things recommendation method using social relationship in social Internet of Things. We study previous researches about social network service, IoT, and social IoT. We proposed SIoT_FW(Social IoT Friendship Weight) using static and a dynamic social friendship weight. Also, our method considers four social relationships (Ownership Object Relationship, Co-Location Object Relationship, Social Object Relationship, Parental Object Relationship). We presents a music device scenario using our proposed method.

  • This paper reviewed and provides clarifications as to the meaning and concept of Smart Cities with particular reference to the Smart City Components. The paper also discusses Internet of Things and the Big Data in relation to the role they played in the development and evolution of smart cities. The paper further provides discussions on the 5G Wireless Networks and Industry 4.0 buttressing their significance in the smart cities concept. The paper as the name implies; discusses on the readiness and adaptability of this trending concept 'Smart City' in the African global space.

친구관계 네트워크가 학습성과에 미치는 영향 -S대학 비서학전공 전문대학생들을 중심으로- (Effects of Social Network Measures on Individual Learning Performances)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 네트워크분석을 통하여 전문대학생들의 학급 내 친구관계 네트워크를 구조화하고 네트워크 중심성 지수가 개인의 학습성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 학습 네트워크와 오락 네트워크 각각에 대한 네트워크 데이터를 수집하여 네트워크를 구조화하고 중심성 지수를 추출하였다. 이를 독립변수로, 학습성과 변수를 종속변수로 하여 친구관계 네트워크 중심성이 학습성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 연구결과 1,2학년 모두 학습 네트워크의 개인별 중심성과 학습성과와의 관계는 유의미하였으며 오락 네트워크의 중심성과의 학습성과와의 상관관계는 유의미하지 않았다. 학습 네트워크의 개인별 중심성과 학습성과와의 회귀분석 결과 1,2학년 모두 학습 네트워크의 중심성 지수는 개인의 학습성과를 예측하는 것으로 나타났다.

SNS 구성원 간 신뢰망 구조 분석방법 (A Method to Analyze the Structure of Interpersonal Trust Network in SNS)

  • Many studies have pointed out that trust is the most important component of social capital. Although there have been lots of attempts to measure level of trust between members of community, it is hard to find studies which examine trust from the standpoint of structural aspects. Because of the recent rapid growth of SNS and openness trend on members and their friendship information, it became possible to understand the structure of trust relationships among users in SNS. This study aims to facilitate interpersonal trust by comparing the structure of the trust network among social network users. For this purpose, it proposes a method to explore the structure of trust network and strategies to evolve toward more open structure. In experiments to distinguish structure of trust network with three social network communities, it is discovered that ADVOGATO has characteristics of open and collective network together whereas EPINION and FILMTRUST have collective and open characteristics respectively.

퍼베이시브 컴퓨팅 환경에서 소셜네트워크를 이용한 프로액티브 친구 추천 기법 (Proactive Friend Recommendation Method using Social Network in Pervasive Computing Environment)

  • Pervasive computing and social network are good resources in recommendation method. Collaborative filtering is one of the most popular recommendation methods, but it has some limitations such as rating sparsity. Moreover, it does not consider social network in pervasive computing environment. We propose an effective proactive friend recommendation method using social network and contexts in pervasive computing environment. In collaborative filtering method, users need to rate sufficient number of items. However, many users don't rate items sufficiently, because the rating information must be manually input into system. We solve the rating sparsity problem in the collaboration filtering method by using contexts. Our method considers both a static and a dynamic friendship using contexts and social network. It makes more effective recommendation. This paper describes a new friend recommendation method and then presents a music friend scenario. Our work will help e-commerce recommendation system using collaborative filtering and friend recommendation applications in social network services.
