Analysis of the Nursing Interventions Performed in the Medical & Surgical Units and the Health Insurance Cost Items Based on the NIC (간호중재분류체계(NIC)에 근거한 내${\cdot}$외과계 간호단위의 간호중재 수행 및 건강보험 수가 항목 분석)

  • Purpose: This study aims to offer the fundamental data in order to cost the nursing service on the basis of the NIC and a close examination of the interventions that are contained in the health insurance cost list under the system of the current health insurance. Methods: The data is handled with the SPSS 10.0 program. The participants' general peculiarity is calculated in terms of the real number and the percentage, and the performing frequency of the nursing interventions is calculated in terms of the mean and the standard deviation. the correlation between the participants' general peculiarity and the performing frequency of the nursing interventions is analysed with t-test or one way ANOVA of SPSS. Results: In the performing frequency of the nursing interventions, the domain of "the physiological: basic" was the highest as 2.69${\pm}$1.21, the domain of "the behavioral" was the lowest as 2.11${\pm}$1.12. There were 50 core interventions in the medical unit, 48 in the surgical unit, 24 in the MICU and 33 in the SICU. The health insurance cost items contained commonly in the core interventions of each unit were 12, and the health insurance cost items except 12 items contained commonly in the core interventions of each unit were appeared 14 items in the medical unit, 6 in the surgical unit, 7 in the MICU and 2 in the SICU. The core interventions contained commonly in four units of the medical unit, the surgical unit, the MICU & the SICU are 18. And among these, the core interventions contained in the health insurance cost items are 10; pain management, hyperglycemia management, analgegic administration, medication administration: intravenous, oxygen therapy, pressure ulcer prevention, fluid management, fluide monitoring, intravenous(IV) insertion, intravenous(IV) therapy. As the result of the comparison & analysis between the core interventions of the NIC and the health insurance cost items, the core interventions contained in the health insurance cost list are 21(29 as the health insurance cost items). Conclusion: In the performing frequency of the nursing interventions, the domain of "the physiological: basic" is being performed most frequently, and in the performing frequency of the core interventions, the interventions of the domain of "the physiological: complex" is being performed most frequently. On the basis of these results, the writer hopes that the attempts to interlink the nursing interventions into the nursing cost by using of standard terms and the efforts to cost the nursing services would also be made in the future constantly.

Time Domain Multiple-channel Signal Processing Method for Converting the Variable Frequency Band (가변 주파수 변환을 위한 시간 영역 다중채널 신호처리 알고리즘)

  • The algorithm of multiple channel signal processing requires the flexibility of variable frequency band, efficient allocation of transmission power, and flexible frequency band reallocation to satisfy various service types which requires different transmission rates and frequency band. This paper proposes an improved multiple channel signal processing for converting the frequency band of multiple carrier signals efficiently using a window function and DFT in the time domain. In contrast to the previous algorithm of multiple-channel signal processing performing band-pass signal processing in the frequency domain, the proposed algorithm is a method of block signal processing using a window function in the time domain. In addition, the complexity of proposed algorithm of the window function is lower than that of the previous algorithm performing signal processing in the frequency domain, and it performs the frequency band transform efficiently. The computer simulation result shows that the perfect reconstruction of output signal and the flexible frequency band reallocation is performed efficiently by the proposed algorithm.

The Impacts of Muscle Energy Technique (MET) and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) Performed on Elector Spinae Muscle of Acute Low Back Pain Patients on Pain and Meridian Electromyography (경근추나요법과 경피전기자극치료가 급성 요통 환자의 통증 및 척추기립근 경근전도에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives To evaluate the clinical usefulness between muscle energy techniques (MET) and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator (TENS), we performed both on elector spinae muscle of acute low back pain patients. Methods After performing MET and TENS, we compared both in terms of electrical activity. We performed MET or TENS on elector spinae muscle of acute low back pain patients in each group (n=15,15). After performing MET or TENS, we analyzed root mean square (RMS), median edge frequency (MEF) and asymmetry index (AI). Results 1. After performing MET on elector spinae muscle of acute low back pain patients, RMS was significantly decreased compared with before (p<0.005). 2. After performing TENS on elector spinae muscle of acute low back pain patients, RMS was significantly decreased compared with before (p<0.005). 3. After performing MET on elector spinae muscle of acute low back pain patients, asymmetric index was significantly decreased compared with before (p<0.05). Conclusions According to above results, performing MET on elector spinae muscle of acute low back pain patients has effect in terms of RMS and asymmetric index. And performing TENS on elector spinae muscle of acute low back pain patients also has similar effect in terms of RMS but has not in terms of asymmetric index.

A Frequency Offset Estimation Algorithm using Frequency Offsets Estimated from Previous Packets in OFDM System (OFDM 시스템에서의 패킷들의 상관관계를 이용한 주파수 오프셋 예측 알고리즘)

  • This paper presents a frequency offset estimation scheme which can be used for packet based OFDM communication systems. The proposed scheme detects the failure of performing coarse frequency offset estimation and compensates the error of estimated coarse frequency offset. The preamble structure considered in this paper is based on the preamble specified in IEEE802.11a and IEEE802.11p standards. We performed simulation to compare the performance according to the different number of reference packets used to detect the failure of performing coarse frequency offset estimation. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme has better performance than the conventional scheme in the low SNR(below 2dB) environment.

A Study on Size and Spatial Composition of Culture & Art Centers (지방 문예회관의 규모와 공간구성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to find out and discuss architectural factors for planning the cultural facilities for performing art. For the purpose, the Culture & Art centers in major cities are investigated. The investigation focuses on the analysis of efficient utilization and spatial composition of the Culture & Art centers. Generally the cultural facilities must be located on the site where people can easily access, and should have various kinds and sizes of rooms which people can use for various activities. However, most of the investigated Culture & Art centers are apart from the downtown of the cities, and do not provide the varied spaces. In particular, the sizes of performing halls are too large, and this makes the ratio of room use frequency and the occupancy of seat to be low. To encourage people to use the Culture & Art Centers, the program managers should arrange various programs which reflect the needs of people, and the clients and designers should decide proper room sizes and functions through appropriate analyses of the facilities.

A Horn of Half-Wave Design for Ultrasonic Metal Welding (초음파 금속 용착용 반파장 혼의 설계)

  • Ultrasonic metal welding is one of the welding methods which welds metal by applying high frequency vibrational energy into specific area at constant pressure, avaliable in room temperature and low temperature. Ultrasonic metal welder is consisted of power supply, transducer, booster, and horn. Precise designing is required since each parts' shape, length and mass can affect driving frequency and vibration mode. This paper focused to horn design, its length L was set to 62mm by calculating vibration equation. By performing modal analysis with various shape variable b times integer, when length of b is 30mm the output was 39,599Hz at 10th mode. Also by performing harmonic response analysis, the frequency response result was 39,533Hz, which was similar to modal analysis result. In order to observe the designed horn's performance, about 4,000 voltage data was obtained from a light sensor and was analyzed by FFT analysis using Origin Tool. The result RMS amplitude was approximately 8.5${\mu}m$ at 40,000Hz, and maximum amplitude was 12.3${\mu}m$. Therefore, it was verified that the ultrasonic metal welding horn was optimally designed.

A Study on the Socialization of Household Work and it's Related Variables -Focusing on the Employed and Unemployed Wives- (가사노동의 사회화 및 관련변인 고찰 -전문직 취업주부와 비취업주부를 중심으로-)

  • The purspoe of this study is to identify the socialization level of household work of the employed and unemployed housewives and it's related variables in order to provide some fundamental information for the rational and effective performation of the household task. For the purpose of this study, 700 questionnaire were distributed to the employed and unemployed wives who lived in Seoul. The data were analyed by the Frequency distribution, Percentile, t-test, F-test, Duncan's Multiple Range Test, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The main results were as follows : (1) Socialization level of household work of the employed wives was a little below medium point. When the household work was devided into three subdomains, in the domain of food and shelter, the socialization level was far below medium point. In the domain of clothes, the socialization level was a little higher than medium point. Socialization level of household work of the unemployed wives far below average. When the household work was devided into three sudbomains, in the domain of food, clothes and shelter, the socialization level was far below average, too. Socialization level of household work was significantly different according to the employment. (2) Among the background veriables, family income, household work helper, and frequency of leisure activities have a significant influence on the socialization level of the employed wives. Duration of marriage, housewife's education level and house income have a important effect on the socialization level of the unemployed wives background. (3) Among the background variabels of household work, performing competence of household work is powerful effect on the socialization level of the employed wives. And as for the unemployed wives, performing competence of household task and recognition of the velue of household work are significant variables. (4) The psychological variable such as sex-role attitude gave no noticeable influence on the socialization level of employed and unemployed wives. (5) In conclusion, classifing the variances influencing on the socialization level of household work in a measure of respcetive effect, it appears to be performing competence of household task, frequency of leisure activities, house income, sex-role attitued and educational level in the order of their influences for the employed wives. And as for the unemployed wives, it seems to be house income, educational level, performing competence of household work and frequency of leisure activities. To the two sides, the rate of explanation is shown at 35%.

PWPF Parameters Design for Thruster Control (추력기 제어를 위한 PWPF 설계변수 설계)

  • Usually, on/off control method is a way to control the thruster. Bang-Bang Control, PWM(Pulse Width Modulator) and PWPF(Pulse Width Pulse Frequency) are widely used as a typical way. When we are designing PWPF, the incorrectly designed parameters($K_m$, ${\tau}$, $U_{on}$, $U_{off}$, $U_m$) make trouble, such as the phase lag, the wasted fuel, the reduced system life. Therefore, the effect of parameters on the system performance should be analyzed before the proper parameters are selected. In this paper, we suggest the PWPF parameters design method by performing a static analysis, and analyze the interactive effects on design parameters by performing a dynamic analysis and simulation.

The Effect of Adolescents' Perception of Parental Overprotection, Goal-Seeking Orientation and Self-Handicapping on their Academic Procrastination (청소년이 지각한 부모의 과보호, 목표추구지향성 및 자기구실 만들기가 학업지연행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relation among adolescents' perception of parental overprotection, goal-seeking orientation, self-handicapping and academic procrastination. Questionnaires were administered to 1200 male and female high school students in Gyeonggi Province. A total of 942 questionnaires were statistically analyzed through mean, standard deviation, frequency analysis, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The major results of the study are as follows: First, adolescents' academic procrastination differed by school grades. Second, for the high-performing group, self-handicapping, goal-seeking orientation and parental overprotection were significant predictors of their academic procrastination. For the mid-level performing group, self-handicapping and goal-seeking orientation were significant predictors of their academic procrastination. For the low-performing group, self-handicapping was the only predictor of their academic procrastination. Third, for the high-performing group, self-handicapping meditated the relation between parental overprotection and academic procrastination. Those results provide useful information regarding proactive support or intervention for adolescents' academic procrastination.

A Study on the Data Compression of Image using the Extraction of Boundary Region (경계영역검출을 이용한 영상 데이터압축에 관한 연구)

  • In this papers, we proposes a efficient compression method of an image using the extraction of boundary region of DCT in MPEG-1. DCT coefficients have from low frequency to high frequency various components. After performing DCT to an image, the data is compressed to contain the boundary Region by quantization, and the information of boundary Region can be extracted by inverse DCT. In those, I chose frequency components susceptible to the boundary through the many experiences. In this paper, boundary can be selected by dividing low frequency by big quantization coefficient and dividing high frequency by small quantization coefficient without degrading visual qualify in MPEG-1. Also it is predicted that to reduce high frequency value will be good in noisy environments.
