The Effects of Service Recovery and Perceived Justice on Customer Relationship in the Beauty Service Industry

  • The purposes of this study are to explore how the service recovery of the beauty shops and customers' perceived justice affect the customer relationship. A survey based questionnaire method was employed for this study. Data were collected by a convenient sampling of 232 female customers of hair beauty shops in Seoul and Busan. The data were analysed by using SPSS 21.0, including a frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis and multiple of regression analyses. The first result showed that all dimensions of service recovery had a significantly positive effect on the perceived justice. Especially, behavioral recovery of beauty shops was the major significant factor affecting perceived justice. Second, distributive justice and interactive justice had a significant effect on satisfaction. However, procedural justice did not have any significant effect on satisfaction. Finally, satisfaction was significantly and strongly associated with both trust and commitment. These results provide empirical proposition that the recovery strategies for complaint handling of the beauty service shop are related closely to relationship marketing.

  • This study analyzes the reverse recovery phenomenon of a semi-bridgeless rectifier (SBR) in an inductive power transfer (IPT) system for electric vehicles. Ideally, the reverse recovery phenomenon does not occur in a diode rectifier, however, in practical systems, the reverse recovery phenomenon occurs even when the SBR operates like a diode rectifier due to high operating frequency. Therefore, a practical analysis of operation modes for SBRs is presented in this study, considering the reverse recovery phenomenon, and the requirements for SBR switches are proposed. The analysis results are experimentally verified using a 3.3 [kW] IPT system prototype to which three different types of switches are applied.

흡음덕트 부착 열회수형 환기장치의 음향성능 평가에 관한 연구 (A study on the acoustic performance evaluation of heat recovery ventilator with a sound absorbing duct)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존 열회수형 환기장치의 음향 문제점을 파악하고, 흡음덕트 설치위치별 열회수형 환기장치의 소음저감 방안을 강구하기 위하여 관련된 국내 외 규격을 기준으로 열회수형 환기장치의 크기, 풍량 및 흡음덕트 길이를 파라미터로 한 발생소음을 측정하여 비교하고 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 무향실에서 열회수형 환기장치에 대한 소음은 흡음덕트를 설치하지 않았을 경우에 소형 및 중형 모두 풍량에 관계없이 거의 대부분 소음기준인 50 dB(A) 보다 높게 나타났고, 흡음덕트를 설치하였을 경우에는 소음도가 감소됨을 알았다. 또한, 흡음덕트의 길이에 따른 주파수 대역별 음압수준은 소형과 중형 열회수형 환기장치에서 흡음덕트의 길이가 클수록 대체적으로 감소하였고, 풍량이 클수록 대체적으로 음압수준이 증가하였다.

이중 모드의 기준 클록을 사용하지 않는 클록 데이터 복원 회로 알고리즘 (Dual-Mode Reference-less Clock Data Recovery Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 full / half-rate의 이중 모드로 동작하는 기준 클록을 사용하지 않는 클록 데이터 복원 회로와 그 동작 알고리즘에 관하여 기술한다. 클록 데이터 복원 회로는 주파수 검출기, 위상 검출기, 차지 펌프 및 루프 필터, 그리고 전압 제어 발진기와 알고리즘 구현을 위한 디지털 블록으로 구성되어 있다. 주파수 검출기와 위상 검출기는 클록 데이터 복원 회로의 이중 모드 기능을 위하여 full / half-rate에서 동작하며 주파수 검출기는 이에 더해 일반 주파수 검출기의 불감대 영역에서도 데이터 전송률과 클록 주파수 차이를 판별할 수 있다. 제안한 이중 모드 클록 데이터 복원 회로를 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증한 결과 클록 데이터 복원에 전체 1.2-1.3 us의 동기화 시간이 소요되었으며, 0.5-UI 지터를 인가하였을 때 full-rate (2.7 Gb/s)와 half-rate (5.4 Gb/s) 모드에서 모두 안정적으로 클록 데이터를 복원한다.

  • In this paper, the electro-chemical-machining characteristics of Ni-Ti Shape Memory Alloy(SMA) was investigated. From the experimental results, the optimal electro chemical machining conditions for satisfying the machining quality(fine surface & high recovery stress) might be confirmed. And it was concluded that optical electro chemical condition for Ni-Ti SMA could be obtained at approximately 100% current efficiency and high frequency pulse current.

  • OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) 변조를 이용한 WLAN(wireless local area network) 시스템은 고속 무선 데이터 통신을 위한 대표적 수단으로 전송률의 향상을 위해 활발히 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 WLAN의 정확한 채널 등화와 샘플링 클럭 추적을 위하여 비터비 복호기 출력을 이용한 등화 및 샘플링 클럭 추적 알고리듬을 제안한다. 이 알고리듬은 파일럿 신호를 이용하여 대략의 클럭 주파수 복원과 채널등화를 수행한 후 비터비 복호기의 출력을 다시 부호화하여 등화 및 샘플링 클럭의 추적에 이용하는 알고리듬이다. 제안한 알고리듬의 우수성을 ETSI WLAN 채널 환경에서 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통하여 보였다.

체계적인 호흡운동 프로그램이 기흉환자의 회복에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of the Systematic Breathing Exercises Program on Recovery of Patients with Pneumothorax)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the systematic breathing exercise program on recovery of patients with pneumothorax. Methods: An nonequivalent interrupted time-series control group posttest design was used. Participants were 40 inpatients (Experimental Group; 20, Control Group; 20) at the one University Hospital in U city. The systematic breathing exercise program including education on deep breathing exercise using incentive spirometry, Range of motion (ROM) exercise in shoulder joint, walking exercise and feedback were provided to the experimental group, while the control group carried out deep breathing exercise using incentive spirometry. The duration of chest tube insertion, duration of hospitalization, and frequency of analgesics use were measured. The data were analysed by a SPSS/WIN program. Results: The duration of chest tube insertion and duration of hospitalization in the experimental group were significantly shorter than the control group. However, there is no difference of the frequency of analgesics use between the experimental group and control group. Conclusion: The result showed that the systematic breathing exercise program was effective to improve recovery of patients with pneumothorax. This program can be applied in hospitals for patients with pneumothorax as one of the nursing intervention modalities.

뜸 시술에 의한 대퇴부 근피로 회복 평가 (Evaluation of the Muscle Fatigue Recovery Effect by Indirect Moxibustion Treatment)

  • Objectives : This study is aimed to evaluate and objectify the therapeutic effect of moxibustion on muscle fatigue recovery. Methods : To evaluate the therapeutic effect on the muscle fatigue recovery, we compared the fatigue recovery of two groups (non-stimulation group and moxibustion group) by analyzing the EMG and peak torque after strenuous knee exercise of isokinetic contraction. Results : The median frequency (MF) of the moxibustion group was recovered faster than that of the non-stimulation group. However, the peak torques of both groups were not restored until after 20 minutes. Nevertheless, the moxibustion group's peak torque was regained higher than that of the non-stimulation group. Conclusions : We confirmed the therapeutic effect of moxibustion and found that the moxibustion can used as prevention method for musculoskeletal disease.

소리의 종류와 크기에 따른 일과성 청력 역치 상승과 회복의 차이 (Differences in Temporary Threshold Shift and Recovery Patterns Depending on Sound Type and Pressure)

  • Objective: This study aimed to investigate the differences in temporary threshold shift (TTS) and recovery patterns according to different types of sound and volume. Methods: TTS and recovery patterns were assessed for eight students after 30-minute exposure to both 70.0 dB and 90.0 dB of factory noise (noise) as well as music. TTS was measured before exposure and two minutes post exposure, and recovery patterns were evaluated every 10 minutes for one hour. The subjects performed activities of daily life and sleeping times as usual but taking drugs or drinking alcohol were prohibited. The experiment was repeated three times with an interval of at least 16 hours. ANOVA and T-test were carried out using SPSS 19.0 for Windows. Results: The hearing threshold of all subjects before exposure was less than 30 dB at all frequencies. Mean TTSs of 70 dB noise and 90 dB noise exposure were 0.14 and 4.48 dB (p<0.001). Meanwhile, the difference in music was insignificant (-0.63 dB and 0.55 dB, p=0.063). A significance in the difference was also found between the mean TTS of music and noise exposure, more obviously at 90.0 dB (p<0.001) than at 70 dB (p=0.232). The TTS differences were found frequency-wise in terms of sound type. Mean TTS by frequency was higher at 4,000 and 6,000 Hz than at other frequencies, and higher in noise than music at the same sound pressure. The TTS difference in each frequency between both sound types was significant at 90 dB (p<0.001). Subjects mostly recovered from TTS in one hour after exposure, but not with 90 dB-noise exposure. Conclusion: TTS and recovery patterns were different depending on the sound type. When exposed to factory noise, TTS was greater and recovery time was longer compared to music at the same sound pressure. These results suggested that the difference in cognitive processes and psychological factors according to the type of sound causes a change in TTS and recovery.

Chip Timing Recovery Algorithm Robust to Frequency Offset and Time Variant Fading

  • In this paper, we propose a chip timing recovery algorithm that is robust to frequency offset and time variant fading environments for DS/CDMA. The proposed structure is a modified non-coherent Delay Locked Loop (DLL) that employs a decimator. Analytical expression for the proposed non-coherent DLL S-curve and steady-state timing jitter is derived and confirmed by computer simulation. The results show that the proposed structure can reduce a steady-state timing jitter of the regenerated spreading code replica to frequency offset and time-variant fading in mobile radio channel, especially in very low SNR.
