Analysis of Spectral Characteristics of Semiconductor Lasers under Strong Optical Injection Locking for Tens of Giga Hz Signal Generation

  • we have analyzed tens of Giga pulse signal generation using sideband injection locking scheme. The numerical model for semiconductor lasers under the strong optical injection is based on the Lang's equation and has been extended in order to take into account the simultaneous injection of the multiple sidebands of the current-modulated laser. The numerical simulation results show that the unselected sidebands will affect the optical and RF-spectral characteristics even though the semiconductor laser is locked to the target sidebands.

  • In 2006, ITU-R estimated the spectrum requirements for IMT-Advanced including IMT-2000 and its enhancements. And WRC-07 indentified four new spectrum bands for IMT system. Based on these results, there are many activities which are related with IMT system and its spectrum inside and outside of the country. This paper covers the next generation mobile telecommunication spectrum issues and outlook for the future of it.

이득 보상에 의한 개선된 주파수 추정 알고리즘 (Advanced Frequency Estimation Technique using Gain Compensation)

  • Frequency is an important operating parameter of a power system. Due to the sudden change in generation and loads or faults in power system, the frequency is supposed to deviate from its nominal value. It is essential that the frequency of a power system be maintained very close to its nominal frequency. And monitoring and an accurate estimation of the power frequency by timing synchronized signal provided by FDR is essential to optimum operation and prevention for wide area blackout. As most conventional frequency estimation schemes are based on DFT filter, it has been pointed out that the gain error by change in magnitude could cause the defects when the power frequency is deviated from nominal value. In this paper, an advanced frequency estimation scheme using gain compensation for fault disturbance recorders (FDR) is presented. The proposed scheme can reduce the gain error caused when the power frequency is deviated from nominal value. Various simulation using both the data from EMTP package and user's defined arbitrary signals are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can provide better accuracy and higher robustness to harmonics and noise under both steady state tests and dynamic conditions.

  • 태양광 발전 시스템을 위한 무접점 변압기 적용 고효율 Full-bridge LLC 공진컨버터를 제안하였다. 제안된 LLC 공진컨버터는 직렬 커패시터와의 직렬공진을 위해 무접점 변압기의 누설인덕턴스와 자화인덕턴스를 이용하였다. 제안된 LLC 공진컨버터는 공진주파수 보다 높은 스위칭영역에서 연속 공진전류로 동작하는 기존 직렬공진 컨버터와는 달리 공진주파수 아래의 좁은 주파수 범위에서 불연속 공진전류로 동작한다. 이러한 불연속모드 공진전류 때문에 제안된 컨버터는 어떤 보조회로 없이 무접점 변압기 1차측 주스위칭 소자의 영 전압 스위칭(ZVS)과 2차측 다이오드의 영 전류 스위칭(ZCS)을 얻을 수 있고, 높은 전압이득특성을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 무접점 변압기 적용 Full-bridge LLC 공진컨버터를 이용한 무접점 전원장치에 대한 이론적 해석 및 시뮬레이션을 통해 150W급 시제품을 제작하여 태양광 발전 전원시스템에 적용 실험한 결과를 서술했다.

A Subthreshold Slope and Low-frequency Noise Characteristics in Charge Trap Flash Memories with Gate-All-Around and Planar Structure

  • The causes of showing different subthreshold slopes (SS) in programmed and erased states for two different charge trap flash (CTF) memory devices, SONOS type flash memory with gate-all-around (GAA) structure and TANOS type NAND flash memory with planar structure were investigated. To analyze the difference in SSs, TCAD simulation and low-frequency noise (LFN) measurement were fulfilled. The device simulation was performed to compare SSs considering the gate electric field effect to the channel and to check the localized trapped charge distribution effect in nitride layer while the comparison of noise power spectrum was carried out to inspect the generation of interface traps ($N_{IT}$). When each cell in the measured two memory devices is erased, the normalized LFN power is increased by one order of magnitude, which is attributed to the generation of $N_{IT}$ originated by the movement of hydrogen species ($h^*$) from the interface. As a result, the SS is degraded for the GAA SONOS memory device when erased where the $N_{IT}$ generation is a prominent factor. However, the TANOS memory cell is relatively immune to the SS degradation effect induced by the generated $N_{IT}$.

분산전원시스템의 계통연계를 위한 새로운 단독운전 방지기법 (A New Anti-Islanding Method for Utility Interconnection of Distributed Power Generation System)

  • 본 논문은 신$.$재생에너지를 이용한 분산전원시스템을 위한 새로운 단독운전 방지기법을 제시한다. 유효전력과 무효전력 불균형의 개념에 근거해서 3가지 다른 단독운전 조건이 분석된다. 단독운전 전압이 유효전력의 함수이고 그 주파수는 유효전력과 무효전력의 함수임이 분석을 통해 보여준다. 이 분석결과를 이용해서 새로운 단독운전 방지기법이 개발되었다. 제안된 보호 알고리즘은 분산전원에 의해 공급되는 무효전력을 계속적으로 $\pm$5% 변화시키면서 동시에 계통전압과 주파수를 관측한다. 만일 단독운전에 의해 측정할 정도의 주파수 이탈이 발생하면 더 나아가 분산전원의 유효전력을 80%로 감소시킨다. 이 검출기법은 공진부하에서도 빠르게 동작됨을 보여준다. 가능한 단독 운전조건이 모의되고 분석 증명된다. 0.5 kW 연계형 연료전지 시스템의 실험결과가 제시된다.

  • 통신 산업의 급격한 발달로 통신서비스의 종류가 다양해지고 전파사용이 증가함에 따라 이전의 전파감시 시스템을 대체할 효율적이고, 지능화된 전파감시 시스템의 개발이 필요하게 되었다. 차세대 지능형 전파감시 시스템은 ITU-R, 무선설비규칙 및 전파법을 근간으로 하여 V/UHF대역의 On-Air 상의 아날로그 및 디지털신호에 대해 스펙트럼분석을 통한 채널전력과 주파수편차 및 편이, 점유대역폭(99% 또는 x-dB)을 정확하고 효율적으로 전파측정 할 수 있도록 개발되었다, 시스템의 주요 기능은 전파품질측정, 불요파(스퓨리어스, 고조파)측정, 고속스펙트럼측정, 주파수이용효율조사, 불법전파탐사, 운용감시이고, 본 논문에서는 차세대 지능형 전파감시 시스템의 주요기능 중 전파품질측정, 고속스펙트럼측정에 대해 기술한다.

단어-역문서 빈도 벡터화를 통한 한국 걸그룹의 음반 메타 정보 군집화 (Clustering Meta Information of K-Pop Girl Groups Using Term Frequency-inverse Document Frequency Vectorization)

  • 2020 년대 K-Pop 시장은 보이그룹보다 걸그룹이, 3 세대보다 4 세대가 전반에서 주목받았다. 해당 논문은 걸그룹의 세대가 바뀌기 시작했는지 알아보고자 가사 군집화에 대한 방법과 결과를 제시한다. 2013 년부터 2022 년까지 발표된 47 개 그룹의 1469 곡에 대한 메타정보를 수집하여 가사 정보와 가사 외 메타정보로 분류하여 각각 수치화했다. 가사 정보는 선행연구를 기반으로 단어역문서 빈도 벡터화를 적용한 뒤 상위 벡터 값만 선정하는 전처리를 하였다. 가사 외 메타정보는 가사 정보만 사용했을 때의 편향성을 줄이고 더 좋은 군집화 결과를 보여주기 위해 One-Hot Encoding 으로 전처리하여 적용했다. 전처리된 데이터에 대한 군집화 성능은 Spherical K-Means 의 Silhouette Coefficient, Calinski-Harabasz Score 가 Hierarchical Clustering 에 비해 각각 129%, 45% 더 높았다. 본 연구는 한국 대중가요 발전사와 걸그룹 가사 분석 및 군집화 연구에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

뉴실버세대 여성을 위한 한지직물 활용 생활한복 디자인 개발 연구 - 대전 지역을 중심으로 - (A Study on Development of Casual Hanbok Design made of Hanji Yarn Textiles for the New Silver Generation Woman)

  • The aim of this study is to develop Casual Hanbok design made of Hanji yarn textiles for New Silver generation women. The New silver generation is a coined word which has meaning of a newly silver generation and it is distinguished from pre-silver generation. New silver generation is a generation that is independent and given active role by their age groups and generational characteristic. The concept of silver generation was introduced from maturity market in Japan. This study was based on analysis about their preference of forms, colors, and materials of Casual Hanbok. The survey target were 270 female over age 50 living in Daejeon City. The analysis methods used frequency and percentage. The results were summarized as following. Although almost of them haven't worn Casual Hanbok, they had the positive recognition on wearing one. They preferred longer length jacket to traditional Korean style, shorter length of skirt. They also preferred the traditional sleeve shape and knotted buttons. On the foundation of this fact, 2 styles consist of 5 Casual Hanbok design items made of functional material - Hanji yarn textiles that have antimicrobial, deodorant, quick drying, far infrared radiation which are not harmful to health - for New silver women were suggested. One style was 3 items - blouse, vest, skirt - which are the sense of Korean tradition with activity by patch. The other was 2 items - jacket and skirt - which are the sense of Korean tradition with modern way by quilting. Lastly, these garments were evaluated by 13 experts, they were satisfied with 2 styles and all items. As this study were based on the Elderly women living in Daejeon city, it had the limitation on applying of preference styles to all the New silver generation.

MZ세대의 라이프스타일 특성에 대한 탐색적 연구 - 2010년-2020년의 논문을 중심으로 - (An Exploratory Study on the Lifestyle Characteristics of the MZ Generation - A Focus on the 2010-2020 Studies -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends of MZ generation's lifestyle-related research from 2010 to 2020. As a result of searching keywords such as MZ generation's and lifestyle using academic database search sites, a total of 218 cases were used as analysis data to conduct frequency and content analysis. First, research type was 74 dissertations(34.6%), 144 journals(65.4%). The study of MZ generation was relatively active in journals. Second, the current status of academic field was 85(39.7%) in the social field, followed by 66(30.8%) in the arts/physical education, 21(9.8%) in the complex studies, 16(7.5%) in education, 15(7.0%) in nature, 6(2.8%) in engineering, 4(1.9%) in humanities, 1(0.5%) in agriculture/marine. Third, the current status of MZ generation research topics is 54 social participations(25.3%), 35 fashion/beauty(16.3%), 31 social/organizational adaptations(14.5%), 25 cultural/leisure activities(11.7%), 24 design/development projects(11.2%), 21 economic/employment/job projects(9.8%), 11 educational/career/experiences(5.1%), 9 self-concepts(4.2%), 4 welfare services(1.9%). Fourth, the current status of MZ generation research methods was quantitative research(survey/experiment) 125(58.4%), qualitative research(depth interview/participant observation) 42(19.6%), theory/literature research 35(16.4%) and mixed research 12(5.6%). Fifth, the study on the lifestyle of the MZ generation was conducted in four cases, one in 2016, one in 2019, two in 2020. This study is meaningful in that it grasped the overall flow of data of information exchange that can share the research trends of the MZ generation and suggested the basic data on the direction of future research, the individual tendency, behavior, and lifestyle characteristics of the MZ generation.
