  • Nowadays most vehicles are equipped with a variety of electronic devices to improve user convenience as well as its performance itself. In order to efficiently interconnect these devices with each other, Controller Area Network (CAN) is commonly used. However, the CAN requires reconfiguration of the entire network when a new device, which is capable of supporting both of transmission and reception of data, is added to the existing network. In addition, since CAN is based on the collision avoidance using address priority, it is difficult that a new node is assigned high priority and eventually it results in transmission delay of the entire network. Therefore, in this paper we propose a new system component, called CAN coordinator, and design a new CAN framework capable of supporting plug and play functionality. Through experiments, we also prove that the proposed framework can improve real-time ability based on plug and play functionality.

First, the items are analyzed and among questions of discipline of mathematics education in the last five years are analyzed and classified. Second, an analytical framework suitable for item analysis is examined and the items are analysed by the analytical framework. Finally, helpful implications for discipline of mathematics education assessment can be drawn from this study. It is found that the discipline of mathematics education assessment has the following characteristics: 1) It assesses specific content of the assessment component; 2) It assesses a teacher's theoretical knowledge, practical knowledge and creative knowledge in terms of teaching ability; 3) There are six cognitive assessments; 4) There is an item for difficulty adjustment.

  • Fiber reinforced materials have favorable mechanical properties. Moreover, the strength to weight ratios of this material is superior to those of most alloys. Comparing to the metals, it showed many other advantages as well, including non-corrosiveness, translucency and easy repair characteristic. Since, it has the potential for the chair-side and laboratory fabrication, it is not surprising that fiber reinforced composites offer the potential for use in various applications in dentistry. To make the well-fitted restorations, Fiber reinforced composite (FRC) has been suggested as an alternative framework material for the implant supported fixed prosthesis. Two fixed partial denture fabrication procedures were tried. Vectris fiber was pressed to the EsthetiCone gold cylinder on the implant positioned cast. And then, Targis were added on it. In the other method, we used the customized component using UCLA abutment. The beads for retaining the Vectris fiber were added on the abutment. If careful laboratory and clinical techniques were done, these two techniques would fulfill the demands of the esthetics and strength.

  • As the applications and services based on the augmented reality are widely spread in various industry and public domain information dissemination areas, it is naturally necessary to provide the common information framework which can describe required detailed information for services. JPSearch which is released for unified access to image repositories can be utilized in this kind of infrastructure due to that the framework for augmented reality needs a constituent component which supports image repositories. In this paper, we propose a metadata schema which is designed for information architectural framework in the environment of augmented reality based on workflow. The proposed information schema can support the workflow of augmented reality related production system and service implementation.

  • Due to recent growing interest in autonomous software agents and their potential application in areas such as electronic commerce, the autonomous negotiation become more important. Evidence from both theoretical analysis and observations of human interactions suggests that if decision makers have prior information on opponents and furthermore learn the behaviors of other agents from interaction, the overall payoff would increase. We propose a new methodology for a strategy finding process using data mining in autonomous negotiation system; ANSIA(Autonomous Negotiation System using Intelligent Agent). ANSIA is a strategy based negotiation system. The framework of ANSIA consists of three component layers; 1) search agent layer, 2) data mining agent layer and 3) negotiation agent layer. ANSIA is motivated by providing a computational framework for negotiation and by defining a strategy finding model with an autonomous negotiation process.

  • The rapid growth of communication and globalization has changed the software engineering process. Security has become a crucial component of any software system. However, software developers often lack the knowledge and skills needed to develop secure software. Clearly, the creation of secure software requires more than simply mandating the use of a secure software development lifecycle; the components produced by each stage of the lifecycle must be correctly implemented for the resulting system to achieve its intended goals. This study demonstrates that a more effective approach to the development of secure software can result from the integration of carefully selected security patterns into appropriate stages of the software development lifecycle to ensure that security designs are correctly implemented. The goal of this study is to provide developers with an Integrated Security Development Framework (ISDF) that can assist them in building more secure software.

  • In symmetric cryptography, a cryptographically secure Substitution-Box (S-Box) is a key component of a block cipher. S-Box adds a confusion layer in block ciphers that provide resistance against well-known attacks. The generation of a cryptographically secure S-Box depends upon its generation mechanism. In this paper, we propose a novel framework for the construction of cryptographically secure S-Boxes. This framework uses a combination of linear fractional transformation and permutation functions. S-Boxes security is analyzed against well-known security criteria that include nonlinearity, bijectiveness, strict avalanche and bits independence criteria, linear and differential approximation probability. The S-Boxes can be used in the encryption of any grayscale digital images. The encrypted images are analyzed against well-known image analysis criteria that include pixel changing rates, correlation, entropy, and average change of intensity. The analysis of the encrypted image shows that our image encryption scheme is secure.

  • The robot performs with combined various functional equipments organically. OPRoS (Open Platform for Robotic Services) is a framework to provide integrated development environment to develop an equipment in the form of the component parts to various institutions and developers and to combine them. To ensure the reliable operation of the robot, the developer should test the component can be coupled reliably with other components developed by other developers. First of all, that the search to find components to be coupled with the component meaningfully is necessary. In this paper, we propose the interoperability evaluation system which can find components to be meaningfully coupled with the component to be evaluated.

  • Semantic clustering is important to various fields in the modem information society. In this work we applied the Independent Component Analysis method to the extraction of the features of latent concepts. We used verb and object noun information and formulated a concept as a linear combination of verbs. The proposed method is shown to be suitable for our framework and it performs better than a hierarchical clustering in latent semantic space for finding out invisible information from the data.
