  • Contrary to the fact that the old films contain artistic and include contemporary literature, religion, and philosophy, latest films are produced with focusing on external interesting composition and sensational scene. A good movie emotionally express the directors' topic message exuding from an interesting story, and empathize with the social agenda which shows a sharp look of the directors' on contemporary social aspect. In the movies of the Coen brothers, it seems like an entertainment movie as typical black comedy genre through irony and happening, but in fact, it inserts a lot of social problems in the film to show that they cynically express their social agenda from a contemplative view. In their movie "The Big Lebowski (1998)", it seems like they are creating comical content through the main characters' unaffected attitude. However, it is director's excellent director of the sub-text that expresses American social issues such as Vietnam war, post-modernism and an obscurantist policy and au fond the comedy about the historical facts of mass production of social maladjustment into black comedy. We expect to contribute to make a step forward in the Korea film industry by analyzing such movies that has the cultural power of influence.

  • The progress in flat panel displays over the last two decades has been astonishing. In just 20 years, the LCD-TV grew up from a 2-inch curiosity, to an industry that will sell about 120 million flat panel TV's this year, with viewing area up to 4000 times larger. That success is based on continuous innovation, especially in manufacturing processes. For the next decade to bring another doubling of the business, progress will need to continue in four major areas: Human factors, ecological impact, visual quality, and of course continued drive towards affordability. This talk will detail the technology advances that can allow this industry to meet those challenges. Human factors. Today, we adapt our lifestyle to our technology. People organize their offices, and their homes, around displays. We pass around mobile phones to share images, rather than experiencing them as a group. Billions of newspapers continue to be sold daily. Advances in flexible displays can lead to large portable displays. "New era projection" includes the handheld Pico Projectors that are already on the market, and will ultimately appear integrated in mobile phones the same way cameras do today. "Eco" impact. Today TV's are one of the top energy consumers in a U.S. home, and the fastest growing. Watching a large flat panel TV can cost twice as much as running a large refrigerator. With today's concern about energy consumption, regulations are starting to emerge worldwide to limit TV electrical use. Fortunately, good solutions exist in using light management films to eliminate bulbs, saving power without increasing cost. Going forward, LED backlights will drive another step downward. OLED displays might be the ultimate solution. Visual quality. The color of an LCD-TV is still often considered inferior to a far less expensive CRT. And almost all displays suffer from representing a three-dimensional world on a two dimensional surface. The technology to improve color is available today, and will likely move from premium sets into the mainstream as costs come down. 3D is now arriving in movie theaters worldwide, and that will drive up the demand for similar realistic images in home theaters. And the technology is emerging today for 3D representation to move beyond specialized applications into everyday use, on screens large and small. Affordability. The world takes cost-down miracles for granted in consumer electronics. Each of these other advances will be balanced with a drive for affordability, especially as the market grows in emerging countries. The other three challenges must be met without increasing cost. Putting this all together, the next few years will emphasize "eco friendly" designs, and enhanced images such as 3D. By 2013 we will start to see serious penetration by emissive technologies (OLED, high efficiency plasma, or other), with the "ultimate display" likely not in the market for a decade. Lots of opportunities for innovation remain ahead of us.

Implementation of Intelligent Characters adapting to Action Patterns of Opponent Characters (상대캐릭터의 행동패턴에 적응하는 지능캐릭터의 구현)

  • This paper proposes an implementation method of intelligent characters that can properly adapt to action patterns of opponent characters in fighting games by using genetic algorithm. For this intelligent characters, past actions patterns of opponent characters should be included in the learning process. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, two types of experiments are performed and their results are compared. In first experiment(exp-1), intelligent characters consider current action and its step of an opponent character. In second experiment (exp-2), on the other hands, they take past actions of an opponent characters into account additionally. As a performance index, the ratio of score obtained by an intelligent character to that of an opponent character is adopted. Experimental results shows that even if the performance index of exp-1 is better than that of exp-2 at the beginning of stages, but the performance index of exp-2 outperforms that of exp-1 as stages go on. Moreover, optimum solutions are always found in all experimental cases in exp-2. Futhermore, intelligent characters in exp-2 could learn moving actions (forward and backward) and waiting actions for getting more scores through self evolution.

Implementation of the BLDC Motor Drive System using PFC converter and DTC (PFC 컨버터와 DTC를 이용한 BLDC 모터의 구동 시스템 구현)

  • In this paper, the boost Power Factor Correction(PFC) technique for Direct Torque Control(DTC) of brushless DC motor drive in the constant torque region is implemented on a TMS320F2812DSP. Unlike conventional six-step PWM current control, by properly selecting the inverter voltage space vectors of the two-phase conduction mode from a simple look-up table at a predefined sampling time, the desired quasi-square wave current is obtained, therefore a much faster torque response is achieved compared to conventional current control. Furthermore, to eliminate the low-frequency torque oscillations caused by the non-ideal trapezoidal shape of the actual back-EMF waveform of the BLDC motor, a pre-stored back-EMF versus position look-up table is designed. The duty cycle of the boost converter is determined by a control algorithm based on the input voltage, output voltage which is the dc-link of the BLDC motor drive, and inductor current using average current control method with input voltage feed-forward compensation during each sampling period of the drive system. With the emergence of high-speed digital signal processors(DSPs), both PFC and simple DTC algorithms can be executed during a single sampling period of the BLDC motor drive. In the proposed method, since no PWM algorithm is required for DTC or BLDC motor drive, only one PWM output for the boost converter with 80 kHz switching frequency is used in a TMS320F2812 DSP. The validity and effectiveness of the proposed DTC of BLDC motor drive scheme with PFC are verified through the experimental results. The test results verify that the proposed PFC for DTC of BLDC motor drive improves power factor considerably from 0.77 to as close as 0.9997 with and without load conditions.

The dose came highest when is density +3 to slow. and dose more increases gray scale's extent could know that rise. Could know whether how equipment set is important through this experiment. cause of disease which change by digital radiography system forward is thought to increase more, it is considered that suitable education by this and continuous interest about equipment need absolutely.

  • It is difficult for consumers to satisfy high safety request with post-management method such as inspection and surveillance, as various changes in-and-out of the country associated with food safety. In terms of food safety problems related to foods, it is crucial to recognize public health and consumer protection and construct pre-preventive Food Control System. A joint committee, FAO/WHO made the following consultations to the National Food Safety System. ${\circ}$ Approach entirely from farm to table ${\circ}$ Get ready for Risk Analysis System ${\circ}$ Secure transparency ${\circ}$ Establish the optimal policy by evaluating the effect of regulation When it comes to summarizing the consultation, it would be accumulated as two key words; "Efficiency" and "Credibility". Whereas the problem of efficiency focuses on precaution rather than post-management, it requires policy option to maximize consumer's benefit by evaluating the cost for the Food Safety Management and its benefit. Also, analyzing risk's character and amount, demanding an optimal means, and introducing scientific analysis system put much value on the stakeholder's communications are procedure's security which can satisfy both "Efficiency" and "Credibility" simultaneously. Especially, it is emphasized here that Risk Assessment need to be separated from Risk Management. This action is a valid means of credibility security throughout improving transparency. A number of nations and organizations have reformed the method of food management passing through reflection and examination of the prior National Food Safety Management since BSE occurred in Britain, 1996. FSA; Food Standard Agency, AFFSA, EFSA, BfR, and FSC are Risk Assessment Organization functionally separated from Risk Management Organization, JECFA, JMCFA, JMPR, JEMRA in Codex charge Risk Assessment internationally. In case of advanced countries excluding several those such as The U.S. and so forth, though these Risk Assessment Organizations are either separated functionally within Risk Management Organization or operated as apart organ, common factors are in which it has independence as Science Base. While securing independence of Risk Assessment Function, it is a tendency Risk Management should be functionally unified into efficiency as well. Even though the unification of Risk Management hereby increased, there is the lack of strengthening function of Risk Assessment and securing independence. It needs to be required for the professional committee in Food Safety Policy Commission to develop as a exclusive office of Risk Assessment by separating from a policy decision. Administrative Branches should reinforce feeble functions such as fundamental investigation;research for carrying out Risk Assessment with securing efficiency throughout reassessment of prior Risk Management Means.

  • Mentoring program for startup is recognized as one of the most preferred alternative of helping would-be entrepreneur. In recent, this concessions leads the skyrocketed increase of mentoring program. However, lots of doubt falls on the effects of mentoring for startup. This paper is presenting Hanbat Innopolis program, which is evaluated the best practice case of mentoring ending up with seed investment for the last 5 years, including overview, structure, organization, and process. This program suggest the core elements of platform as fully involved mentor group joining with coach, functional experts in contingency, and operation group. It also require more problem solving based system approach as to operation, more qualified coach and problem solving process in mentoring system as to structure, delivering missions of defining problem of startup, setting milestones for its solution, and benchmarks in each phase as to process. This paper deliver the best practice case getting through the full process of Hanbat Innopolis Campus program, recognized ad the prototype of best mentoring program and on step forward, suggest the future direction of the effective mentoring program.

Pre-seasonal Physical Examination of Professional Soccer Team (프로 축구팀의 시즌 전 체력검사)

  • Purpose: In the professional soccer team, we performed pre-seasonal physical examination and analyzed the results to establish a standardization data in relation to their position. Materials and Methods: We performed physical examination to the professional soccer team, consisted 34 player's average age 24.9 years. The examination performed were questionnaire on history, musculoskeletal examination, muscle power test, physiologic test, functional test. Results: According to the relationship between player position and injury pattern,. Knee injuries are most frequent on history. Physical examination outcome was that forward were prone to flexor hallucis longus tendinitis, midfielder for chronic ankle instability, defender for achilles tendinitis. Isokinetic test was done at dominant side, Peak torque to body weight ratio was 55.1%. Physiologic test checked body fat percentage was midfielder was superior as 19.8 (SD 2.9). Functional test out-come was that back strength 125 N. sergeant jump 59.6 cm, reaction time 208.5 sec, flexibility 19.2 m/s, side step 39.9 cm. Conclusion: Pre-seasonal physical examination gave us the standardization data and preventive measurement could be advocated from this results.

  • Osteoporosis is a major bone disorder defined as having bone mineral density (BMD) of 2.5 standard deviations or more below the peak bone mass. Osteoporosis will increasingly be a major disorder that faces the aging mankind. It is the result of an imbalance in the bone remodeling system, where bone constantly undergoes a cycle of resorption by osteoclasts and formation by osteoblasts. Estrogen deficiency in women following menopause is identified as the predominant reason that causes disparity in this system. Current medical treatments for osteoporosis include hormone replacement therapy (HRT), biphosphonates, and teriparatide, but have various side effects that raise questions concerning their medical safety and practicality. Alternative treatments involving natural product sources are under study to find a safer therapy. Many natural sources including lactoferrin and isoflavones and numerous traditional herbal medicines exhibit anti-resorptive or anabolic effects on bone and thus show promises to provide therapeutic agents in treating osteoporosis. Unfortunately, the majority of natural product treatments are still in its preliminary stages to prove their efficacy even though the development pace of treatment for osteoporosis is astounding in the past few decades. Further progress in pre-clinical studies and the subsequent clinical studies will someday lead to a breakthrough that takes us another step forward in science.

LITERATURE REVIEW OF ANTIBIOTICS PRESCRIPTION IN GENERAL DENTAL AND ORAL-MAXILLOFACIAL SURGICAL PRACTICE (치과분야 항생제 처방에 대한 국내외 문헌 분석)

  • Objectives : Administration methods of antibiotics implements a variety for indications and diseases. Therefore, it is impossible to produce a single guideline. Many antibiotics have been prescribed without specific index, by practicians for a long period of time. In general dental practice and oral and maxillofacial surgical practice, there is not a guidelines for antibiotics. Therefore, there is a dependency on pre-existent methods rather than following an exact guideline. Consequently, a controversy was issued that prescription of antibiotics tend to be misused or abused. And it is also direct relation to the tolerance of antibiotics as well. Moving forward, in this review we will be analyzing the exact usage and indication of antibiotics in dental treatment. Materials and Methods : 29 published articles of both domestic and international were researched through Pubmed and Kormed, and the review from these articles were performed accordingly. We examined the administration of antibiotics through the objective usage, that classified prophylactic and therapeutic. Results : For therapeutic usage, empirical prescription is mandatory for the first step. Next is to moderate the empirical prescription depending upon the result of its culture. Administration of antibiotics must be kept for 2days after the symptoms disappear. For a prophylactic use, we can generally pr escribe antibiotics to prevent local infection or systemic infection. Although the method of prescription and neccessity of antibiotics to prevent local in fection are controversial, exact guidelines of antibiotics to prevent systemic infection are established by AHA. Conclusion : Most crucial concept for prescript antibiotics is to determine if it is adequately suitable for all circumstances. In this decision making, a guideline for prescription of antibiotics in various dental surgical practice is necessary. This guideline can reduce the misusage and disusage of a ntibiotics in general dental practices and oral and maxillofacial surgical practices.
