  • In recent, there are a lot of problems such as shortage of construction workers, complicate progress of work and so on under RC construction. To solve these problems, the construction methods without form-work are used in the main structural members - beam, slab and stairs. However, there isn't yet form-workless system for columns. The purpose of this study was to experimentally evaluate the structural behavior of full scaled no-form system columns reinforced with steel sheet forms and angles. The main variables are 1) comparison of concrete member strength with and without reinforcement, 2) effect of L-angle.

  • New technologies using a CNC machine to reduce the production cost of free-form buildings are being developed. To produce free-form members with such technologies, a vast free form building should be first divided into multiple panels that can be produced. Considering the curved surface of free-form buildings, the shape and size of divided freeform panels vary, which will lead to a great deal of errors. Currently, the engineers and designers complete the panelizing work through trials and errors even in large-scale projects, which results in increased construction duration and cost. Thus, it is necessary to develop a freeform panelizing technology to maximize the economic effects of free-form concrete member production technology. The purpose of the study is to analyze influence factors on panelizing of free-form buildings, which is a preceding research for development of a panelizing technology. The influence factors drawn will provide a core basis for development of panelizing technologies for free-form buildings.

  • TWe investigated whether work ability index(WAI) was highly correlated with work environment(physical work environment, working condition and work form) correlated high. The study population consisted of technicians from one manufacturing company in South Korea(n=104). WAI and work environment were analyzed by correlation and multiple regression. Therefore, we conclude that the correlation of WAI and work environment in this population was high. So if there are the older employees having a poor score on the items related to work environment, we can elevate the work ability by dealing with work environment. Moreover, we can make the best program to maintain and raise WAI in short term.

  • This study was conducted as a part of the project developing the standards of national board test for the dietitian's licence. The purpose of this study was to define the job description of dietitians, and to describe the task elements based on the detailed analysis of the dietitians' work. This study team established the research team which was composed of food and nutrition experts, 7 of registered dietitians and 3 of university professors. Draft job description form was made to fully explain the dietitians' task elements, process and sequence by the research team. Final job description form was confirmed after the validity of 576 task elements was reevaluated upon 4 point scale test based on the frequency, importance, and difficulty by 21 field registered dietitian by the study team. It was also confirmed by the university. This form was formated by following DACUM method which analyzed the job description containing duty, task and task elements. It was organized to include every dietitians' work and to describe the every detailed process of work. Duty was defined as the specific and independent work as a dietitian, and was composed of 17 parts, i.e 10 parts in food supply management area and 6 parts in nutritional care service area and self promotion area. Duties were also divided into 99 tasks containing the 576 detailed task elements to describe definite action, steps and decisions. Seventeen parts are following; menu planning, storage and inventory control, food production, meal service, waste management, sanitation, equipment and facility management, human resource management, financial management, nutrition assessment of life cycle, nutritional assessment of several disease, nutritional assessment in specific condition, medical nutrition therapy, nutritional education, public health nutrition and self promotion. If these protocols are properly performed and presented, they can provide the likelihood that dietetics professionals work as a primary contributors in promoting health care and preventing disease nationally.

  • This paper is a work scheduling for design of piping Department of chemical plant using accumulated curve. Accumulated curve prepared by analysis of performance data, collected executed manhours for chemical plant of "D" Company during the past two years. It compared scheduled manhours with actual used manhours up to six months, put into the form of figures and charts the results can he summarized as below; 1) It can he found an important factor of critical control thus piping department got 30% of total scheduled menhours. 2) A plan of manpower mobilization can be scheduled before work starting. 3) Project progress can he found easily as put into the form of figures and charts for schedule to actual.

  • In any form of construction work, it is essential that accidents be prevented at every stage from foundation preparation to build completion. For this, it is necessary to use models that can assess risk and provide instruction for safe work processes so that the risk of accidents is reduced. Currently, however, very few models can perform these tasks. In this paper, we presents a model that assesses risk quantitatively by analyzing risk factors involved in stage of construction such as foundation work, erection work, structural work, equipment work, finishing work and etc work. The model performs assessment based on examples of accidents and by investing actual conditions during construction. In addition, we presents in this paper a safety management system was developed to assess risk during construction and to effectively train laborers.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research was to provide baseline data by utilizing solutions to health problems caused by work-related stress and to examine a way of treatment by comparing and analyzing how the stresses link to fatigue and quality of researchers' life. Methods: A survey was conducted with 50 researchers working for in H research institute in Daejeon Metropolitan City from April 10th to May 10th, 2012 to examine the correlation of work stress, fatigue and quality of life. The data were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test to look into examine the difference in work stress, fatigue, and quality of life. Also, the correlation of work stress, fatigue and quality of life was measured through by the Pearson correlation coefficient. The data collected through the questionnaires was were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 based on the significant level with a p-value, 0.05. Results: The results showed that fatigue was caused by work stresses in researchers and quality of life was ranked in a relatively low level. Correlation of work stresses, quality of life and fatigue and work stresses against mental health index was negative and fatigue against physical index was also negative. Conclusion: It is necessary to maintain more detailed provisions in order to improve mental health and stress level of researchers. Moreover, systematic, in-depth evaluation should be done to reduce researcher's work-related stress and fatigue. In addition, stress management and prevention program should be implemented for these researchers.

  • Olmutinib, N-[3-({2-[4-(4-methylpiperazine-1-yl)aniline]thieno[3,2-d]Pyrimidin-4-yl}oxy)phenyl]prop-2-enamide dihydrochloride monohydrate, $Olita^{TM}$ is an oral, third-generation epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor (EGFR TKI) that was developed by Boehringer Ingelheim and Hanmi Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The aim of this work was to investigate the existence of polymorphs and pseudopolymorphs of olmutinib. Three crystal forms of olmutinib have been isolated by recrystallization and characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric (TG) analysis and powder X-ray diffractometry (PXRD). From the DSC and TG data it was confirmed that Form 1 is monohydrate, Form 2 is dihydrate, Form 3 is 1.5 hydrate. The PXRD patterns of three crystal forms were different respectively. After storage of 1 month at $2^{\circ}C$, 24% RH (Relative Humidity), Form 1, Form 2, and Form 3 were not transformed.

  • The purpose of this study is to review current home-based work study and identify factors associated with the choice of home-based work. Home-based work as an alternative form of employment is being sought today by both workers and business. The information age with its empasis on the recoding and transfer of information along with the technology of telectommuting has increased potential for and attention to home-based work. Home-based work seems to have several advantages particulary for women who carry the double burden of household work and paid work. The reduction in traffic congestion and demand of fossil fuels that accompanies the elimination of commuting has also been seen as a important social benifit. Home-base work has potential that can improve women's labor force participation. Further study is needed to evaluate home-based work and critical advice to current and prospect workers.
