  • Purpose: This study investigates the relationship between service compensation, consumer sentiment and revisit intention for service recovery in the Chinese foodservice industry, and the moderating effect of employee authenticity. Methods: Data were collected from people who experienced eating out in a city located in central China, and the hypothesis was verified through multiple regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The results indicate that the specificity of compensation affects both positive and negative emotions of customers, and the activeness of compensation also influences positive emotions of customers. Also, employee autheticity moderates the effect of specificity of compensation on customers' positive emotions. Both positive and negative emotions of customers influences revisit intention. Conclusion: These results show that the role of service compensation is important in service recovery in the rapidly expanding Chinese foodservice industry. In addition, since the sincerity of employees plays an important role in maximizing the recovery effect in the process of service recovery, it suggests that it is important not only to improve services in the quantitative aspect but also in the qualitative aspect through employee training.

  • This paper aims to examine the role of government's support in facilitating small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs)' green dynamic capabilities and green SCM practices in a global market. It also investigates whether government support, green dynamic capabilities, and green SCM practices affect export competitiveness. To develop those hypotheses, prior studies and in-depth interviews were conducted and data was collected from Korean manufacturing companies that export abroad and then developed the structural equation model. The hypotheses test results revealed that green dynamic capabilities through government support positively affect export competitiveness and green SCM practices through green dynamic capabilities have positive effects on export competitiveness. Finally, this study is valuable in that it directly and indirectly confirmed the effect of eco-friendly government support on export competitiveness.

  • While many previous studies have emphasized that technological and learning capabilities have an important impact on internationalization, however, there have been few attempts to directly identify the mediating role of innovative performance in the relationship between them. Therefore, we tested the relationships among two organizational capabilities such as technological capability and learning capability, innovative performance and internationalization. Specifically, we explored the impact of two organizational capabilities on innovative performance and the mediating role of innovative performance on internationalization. We tested hypotheses based on 206 survey data of Gwangju and Jeonnam provinces' small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The empirical results showed that both technological capability and learning capability had a significantly positive (+) effect on SMEs' innovation performance, and both technological capability and learning capability had a significantly positive (+) effect on internationalization performance. In addition, it was confirmed that the innovation performance is not only related to the relationship between technological capability and internationalization performance but also acts as a partial mediation role in the relationship between the learning capability and internationalization performance. Based on the results of this study, theoretical and practical implications were provided, and the limitations of this study and future research directions were also discussed.

  • Strengthening of hollow structural sections using through-bolts is a cost-effective and straightforward approach. It's a versatile method that can be applied during both design and service phases, serving as a non-disruptive and budget-friendly retrofitting solution. Existing research on axially loaded hollow sections T-joints has demonstrated that this technique can amplify the joint strength by 50%, where single bolt could enhance the strength of the joint by 35%. However, there's a gap in understanding their use for K-joints. As the behavior of K-joints is more complex, and they are widely existent in structures, this study aims to bridge that gap by conducting comprehensive parametric study using finite element analysis. Numerical investigation was conducted to evaluate the effect of through bolts on K-joints focusing on using single through bolt to achieve most of the strengthening effect. A full-scale parametric model was developed to investigate the effect of various geometric parameters of the joint. This study concluded the existence of optimal bolt location to achieve the highest strength gain for the joint. Moreover, a rigorous statistical analysis was conducted on the data to propose design equations to predict optimal bolt location and the corresponding strength gain implementing the verified by finite element models.

  • The purpose of this study is to consider the health and well-being of singing, an expression activity of language. There are also many studies in which singing activities have a positive effect on individual quality of life and social activities. Therefore, this study attempted to suggest that more effective singing is being performed by increasing empathy through various expressions of onomatopoeia and mimic words. Love Changbu Taryeong (愛倡夫打令) is Korea's traditional representative Gyeonggi folk song. It is a cheerful and lyrical folk song based on the five scale of Sol-ra-do-re-mi. It sings not only human joy, sorrow, and pleasure, but also natural phenomena and scenes. It is an exciting rhythm based mainly on the Gutgeori jangdan (rhythmic pattern, 12/8) but it is a rhythm that you can feel the sadness in it. In particular, various onomatopoeia and mimic words appear in this song, making you think about the fun of singing and the origin of the language. Therefore, this study attempted to examine that more effective singing is becoming more effective by increasing empathy through various expressions of onomatopoeia and mimic words. • This study confirmed the relationship between variables developed by qualitative ground theory through quantitative research. The purpose of the study is to explain the effect of core sales tasks on sales services and the mediating effect of organizational member relationships on sales services. The data were collected through a survey of fashion brand salespeople in Gwangju from September to October 2020 with data from 235 responses analyzed using SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 26.0. The validity of the research model verified the confirmatory factor analysis and the research hypothesis was verified through path analysis and multi-mediated analysis of the structural model. The research results were as follows. First, sales management did not directly affect sales services, and customer management affected sales services. Second, a meaningful causal relationship was shown to exist between organizational member relationships and sales management, but organizational member relationships and customer management did not have a significant relationship. Third, the total and individual indirect effects of headquarters relations, colleague relations, and customer management were all statistically significant.

  • Purpose: This study investigates the effects of scuba diving resort service quality on customer satisfaction and revisit intention, considering the moderating effects of perceived risk by scuba divers such as individual, social, and physical risks. Methods: This study surveyed scuba divers using scuba diving resorts in South Korea. The data were analyzed using multi-regression and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The results of this study are as follows; all five service quality dimensions (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) significantly affected customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction also affected revisit intention. However, no moderating effect by perceived risk were observed between customer satisfaction and revisit intention. The cause of these results is believed to be the nature of scuba diving as a adventure sport. Conclusion: These results implies that scuba divers' purchase action can be different from the general service users from the perspective of perceived risk. Considering the uniqueness of adventure sports of scuba diving, the managers of scuba diving resorts need to act actively paying attention to all dimensions of service quality, and customer satisfaction.
