인공광 식물공장내 광질 제어가 방풍나물 생장에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Light-Quality Control on Growth of Ledebouriella seseloides Grown in Plant Factory of an Artificial Light Type)

  • 형광등이나 LED와 같은 인공광을 사용하는 식물공장(인공광 식물공장)은 계절에 상관없이 광, 온도 및 습도 등을 인위적으로 제어하면서 작물을 안정적으로 연중 생산할 수 있는 시스템이다. 본 연구에서는 수경재배 방식을 채택하고 있는 인공광 식물공장 시스템 내에서 엽채재배용 배양액을 이용한 방풍나물의 수경재배 가능성과 혼합광질이 생장에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 방풍나물은 청색과 적색 LED를 1:1 및 1:3의 비율로 혼합한 혼합광 조건에서 90일간 수행하였다. 광원의 광강도는 $100{\mu}mol/m^2/s$로 설정한 후 30일 간격으로 지상부 잎을 3회 수확하여 생장량을 조사하였다. 재배기간 동안 형광등과 LED의 혼합광 조사는 방풍나물 지상부 생장에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 재배개시 30일째 방풍나물 지상부 생체중 및 건물중은 형광등+청색+적색의 혼합광(청, 적색 혼합비율 1:3, FLBR13구)에 의한 영향을 받아, 대조구인 형광등 조사구(FL구)에 비해 각각 3.7배 및 2배 증가하였다. 또한 식물체당 전개엽수는 FLBR13구에서 형광등+청색+적색 혼합광(청, 적색 혼합비율 1:1) 조사구인 FLBR11구에 비해 유의하게 증가하였다. LED와 형광등을 혼합 조사한 처리구에서와 같이, 형광등을 혼합하지 않고 청색과 적색의 LED만을 혼합하여 조사한 처리구에서도 청색과 적색의 혼합비율이 1:1인 BR11구에 비해 적색광의 혼합비율을 3배 증가시킨 BR13구에서 방풍나물의 지상부 생장이 촉진되었다.

High Frequency Shoot Regeneration from Leaf Explants of Some Chrysanthemum Cultivars

  • This study was conducted to examine differences in shoot regeneration among chrysanthemum cultivars. Leaf explants of chrysanthemum cultivars 'Sulhwa', 'Puma', 'Geummokseo' and 'Sulpoong' were used. Explants cultured on the medium for 2 weeks formed calli at the cut surfaces. Shoots regenerated on MS basal medium supplemented with various concentration combinations of NAA and BAP. Explants were cultured under cool-white fluorescent lamps with a light intensity of $40\mu{Mm}^{-2}$.$s^{-1}$ for 16 $hday^{-1}$, at $25^{\circ}c$ and 70-80% relative humidity. 'Geummokseo' and 'Sulpoong' were the most responsive cultivars in shoot regeneration. Most effective medium for 'Sulhwa' and 'Puma' was MS basal medium supplemented with 10.0 $\mu{M}$ NAA and 5.0 $\mu{M}$ BAP and for 'Geummokseo' MS supplemented with 10.0$\mu{M}$ NAA and 20.0$\mu{M}$ BAP. Regeneration of multiple shoots was observed on MS basal medium supplemented with 1.0$\mu{M}$ or 10.0 $\mu{M}$ NAA and 5.0$\mu{M}$ BAP. High frequency regeneration of adventitious shoots from leaf explants and efficient induction of root from these regenerated shoots were obtained.

Accumulation of Chlorogenic Acid as a near UV-shielding Compound in Cauliflower Grown under Enhanced UV-B Radiation

  • Since solar radiation contains wavelength essential for photosynthesis accompanying with near-UV light, UV-B effects on biological parameters and acclimation mechanisms are influenced by photosynthetically active radiation (PAR). Therefore, to elucidate near-UV shielding mechanism in higher plants, we cultivated cauliflower under usual solar radiation and increased UV-B from fluorescent lamps, two- or three-fold excess over continuously estimated UV-B dose in PAR during daytime, using computer regulated systems. Increased UV-B radiation had little effect on growth expressed as fresh weigh and leaf area. Water soluble low molecular weight compounds showing absorption in near UV region were enhanced according to the irradiated UV-B dose. One of compounds in cauliflower leaves was identified as chlorogenic acid. This was found to have no near-UV photosenSitizerable activity and is known to have an ability to scavenge a wide species of active oxygen. Another pro-oxidant compound that generates superoxide anion radical under near-UV irradiation was not induced by increased UV-B during cultivation, and identified as lumazine, a degradation product from folic acid.

휴게실 공간의 조명환경에 대한 시각적 감지 및 심리적 반응에 따른 공간 인지도 변화 (Variation of Spatial Cognition According to Visual Perception and Psychological Responses for Lighting Environments in Rest Space)

  • This study examines visual perception and spatial satisfaction according to lighting conditions. Field measurements and surveys were performed in three rest space of university buildings where various lighting conditions were employed. Results indicate that overall impression of space improved when low color temperature, such as 3,000 K governed overall lighting environment and accent lighting was used for wall surfaces. Lighting conditions that kept uniform illuminance levels using area light sources containing fluorescent lamps with 6,500 K failed to keep favorable spatial satisfaction for space. High color temperature was not recommended for lighting in rest space. Asymmetrical illuminance levels formed by low color temperature such as 3000 K is recommended to keep positive mood and improve spatial satisfaction in rest space. Overall impression of the space was influenced by visual comfort, color temperature, spatial satisfaction and brightness. Spatial satisfaction for space was effectively impacted by psychological comfort, color temperature and overall impression for lighting conditions. Psychological comfort in space was influenced by color temperature, spatial satisfaction and visual annoyance from reflected light.

병원균 및 생물독소 탐지시스템을 위한 원자외선 LED 기술동향 (Trends of Deep UV-LED Technology for the Pathogen and Biotoxin Aerosol Detection System)

  • The humans are under attack involving the hazardous environment and pathogen/biotoxin aerosol that is realistic concerned. A portable, fast, reliable, and cheap Pathogen and Biotoxin Aerosol threat Detection(PBAD) trigger is an important technology for detect-to-protect and detect-to-treat system because the man-made biological terror is a fast and lethal infection. The ultraviolet C(UVC) wavelengths light source is key issue for PBAD that is sensitive because of strong fluorescence cross section from fluorescent amino acids in proteins such as tryptophan and tyrosine. The UVC-light emitting diode(LED) is emerging light source technology as alternative to laser or lamps as they offer several advantages. This paper discussed about the design consideration of UVC-LED for the PBAD system. The UVC-LED and PBAD technology, currently available or in development, are also discussed.

다중 파장 근적외선 LED조명에 의한 컬러영상 획득 (Color Image Acquired by the Multispectral Near-IR LED Lights)

  • A system which provides multispectral near-IR and visible gray images of objects is constructed and an algorithm is derived to acquire a natural color image of objects from the gray images. A color image of 24 color patches is obtained by recovering their CIE (International Commission on Illumination) LAB color coordinates $L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$ from their gray images using the algorithm based on polynomial regression. The system is composed of a custom-designed LED illuminator emitting multispectral near-IR illuminations, fluorescent lamps and a monochrome digital camera. Color reproducibility of the algorithm is estimated in CIELAB color difference ${\Delta}E^*_{ab}$. And as a result, if yellow and magenta color patches with around 10 ${\Delta}E^*_{ab}$ are disregarded, the average ${\Delta}E^*_{ab}$ is 2.9, and this value is within the acceptability tolerance for quality evaluation for digital color complex image.

  • 현재 LCD 인버터의 경쟁력을 키우기 위해 인버터 하나로 다수의 램프를 병렬 구동하는 방식이 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 병렬 구동방식 중 Jin Balance와 O2Micro 방식에 대해 이론적으로 분석하고, 특히 각각의 램프 전류 편차를 일정하게 유지하기 위한 자화 인덕턴스 값의 설계에 대하여 설명하였다. 위의 결과를 이용하여 새로운 전류 평형 방식을 제안하고 수학적으로 분석하였으며, 모의실험을 통해 제안 방식의 정확성을 검증하였다.

  • 박물관에서 항상 사용되고 있는 전시 조명이 유물의 변색 및 재질 약화에 끼치는 영향을 살펴보고, 현재 사용되고 있는 조명들이 유물과 비슷한 재질의 염색 한지 변색 및 재질 변화에 주는 영향을 직접 실험하였다. 전시 조명에 따라 염색 한지에 끼치는 영향은 조금씩 차이가 있었으며, 이러한 차이들을 근거로 보다 유물에 안전한 조명을 선택할 방법을 모색하였다. 네 타입의 형광등을 실험해 본 결과 그 중 한 형광등이 변색 및 재질 변화가 상대적으로 적어 박물관에서 사용하기 적합한 것으로 판단된다.

  • Auxiliary power supply for railway vehicle is a equipment that focuses on the service of passengers in a vehicle. It supplies power to controllers used in heating and cooling devices, fluorescent lamps, batteries and many other electrical equipments. Most of the auxiliary power supply for railway vehicle are mainly used for the round trips and circulation routes within the metropolitan area and have a capacity of 170~200 kVA. In this study, we developed the auxiliary power supply capacity to 240kVA for 200km/h class. As such, the auxiliary power supply is an important device for securing the reliability and safety of the railway vehicle and improving the passenger convenience, so the performance verification of the performance must be ensured. In this paper, 240kVA auxiliary power supply is developed. Also, performance of the auxiliary power supply manufactured through the analysis of various characteristics related to the auxiliary power supply was confirmed while operating the actual line.

  • 본 연구는 변전소(사무실) 설비 환경 개선 차원으로 기존 비상등하에서 조도 부족으로 인한 근무자의 오조작 및 복구 시간 지연을 단축하기 위하여 현재 설치된 등기구의 형태를 백열등에서 형광등으로 대체하였으며, AC/DC 겸용 비상등 및 스위치에 관하 연구하였다. 조도 기준 또한 상시등의 5${\sim}$10[%] 가 아닌 한국 산업 조도 기준(KSA)에 따른 원자력 발전소 조도 기준 및 안전 조명에 의한 조도 기준을 참고로 정확한 변전소 각 실별 조도 기준을 책정하였고 그에 따른 변전소 내선 전기 설계를 표준화하였다. 또한 배터리 용량 산정 기준과 중요도에 따른 각 실별 등기구 설치 수량을 표준화하여 조도 부족으로 인한 2차 사고나 광역 정전 사고로 인한 대형 사고를 방지하고자한다.
