  • This study analyzes the properties of foam according to the concentration of vegetable foaming agent that is used in traditional and mixed foaming agent of developing stage, and confirms how the foams influence foamed concrete by searching for properties of foamed concrete according to replacing ratio of vegetable foaming agent and mixed foaming agent. This is for the purpose of providing basic data for the use of foamed concrete through improvement on the problem such as unstability, falling in fluidity and the strength of existed foaming agent.

  • Concrete has been used for many years as a composite material that has excellent mechanical properties and durability for construction. However, concrete is a poor electrical conductor, especially under dry conditions. Concrete that is excellent in both mechanical and electrical conductivity properties may have important applications in the electrical, electronic, military and construction industry(e.g. for de-icing road from snow). The purpose of this investigation is to improve the electrical conductive of cement mortar preparared with coke dust, graphite, carbon black and carbon fiber as filler. From the test result, as the content of electrically conductive material increased, fluidity and strength decreased but resistivity decreased. The resistivity of electrical conductive cement mortar is effect by water/cement, and aggregate. Cement mortar containing carbon fiber has the best electrical properties considering strength. From this study, it is enough to assure the use of carbon fiber, carbon black and graphite as a conductive filler for electrical conductive cement mortar.

  • The properties of pcc using BOF-slag were investigated in order to use as fine aggregate, which has been made in the steel making process and stabilized by air-jet method. The fluidity of flesh concrete has been improved with the usage of BOF-slag and it should be noted that the air content goes up. The compressive strength of hardened concrete was reduced at weight fraction over 50$\%$ and Young's modulus tends toward the trivial change. Also, the flexural and tensile strengths were increased with the usage, especially, the rupture values were increased to 1.2 times at the weight fraction of 30$\%$.

  • It was predicted that the most recent technological developments in concrete technology rely on enhanced admixture efficiency rather than on improvement in cement manufacturing. Four major commercially available of organic chemical admixtures are modified lignosulfonates (LS), sulfonated naphthalene-formaldehyde resins (SNF), sulfonated melamine-formaldehyde resins(SMF) and polycarboxylate(PC). In this study, various sulfonated melamine-formaldehyde (SMF) superplasticizers were synthesized via four synthetic steps and reaction conditions such as the mole ratio of melamine to formaldehyde was changed.   • This paper investigated the drying and autogenous shrinkage of high performance concrete(HPC) with mixture adjustment under various specimen size. For fresh concrete properties, HPC with mixture adjustment need a higher dosage of SP agent due to fluidity reduction, and a larger dosage of AE agent due to the reduction of air content. HPC with mixture adjustment exhibited a smaller strength development than control HPC. For drying shrinkage, an increase in specimen size occurred with small expansion during water curing and at air curing, less drying shrinkage was observed. Autogenous shrinkage was not affected by specimen size. Autogenous shrinkage of HPC with mixture adjustment exhibited less than half of control HPC.

  • This study investigates the properties of light weight foamed concrete with variances in incorporating ratio of cement kiln dust(CKD). Test showed that an increase of CKD incorporating ratio decreased the fluidity of fresh concrete and increased the unit weight. A sinking depth of specimens incorporating CKD decreased, compared with that of control. As for the compressive strength, it firstly increased and then slightly decreased when incorporated CKD. Tensile strength values were similar to the values of compressive strength, but the ratio of comp. to tens. strength increased. Appearances density of specimens were all raged in KS and the thermal conductivity was also satisfied in KS; less than 0.05-0.160W/($m{\cdot}k$).

  • Pre-foaming that has been used in this study is using to control and guarantee quality, but the optimum mix proportion and regulation are not definite. Therefore, this study investigated properties of foamed concrete according to concentrations of foaming agent to improve usability of foamed concrete. Synthetic foaming agent such as AES(Alkyl Ether Sulfate) and AOS(Alpha Olefin Sulfonate) are used to make foam with 1, 3, and 5% concentrations. We found that the flow of foam concrete increases when foam concentration is high and AES is more flowable than AOS. Density and compressive strength increase when foam concentration is low.

  • This study is a basic study to establish the relationship between the conventional fluidity evaluation data of concrete and the rheology parameters. the slump flow and rheology parameters were measured according to the elapsed time after the concrete was mixed. The correlation between the slump flow and the rheology constant was analyzed and the effect of the elapsed time after concrete beating on the correlation between the two data was analyzed.

  • In this study, fundamental properties of high strength concrete containing blast furnace slag are investigated analyzed according to CBS-Dust replacement rate. As the CBS-Dust replacement rate increased, air content, fluidity and strength decreased, but concrete with 5~10 % of CBS-Dust showed excellent compressive strength in its early age. Therefore, 5~10 % substitution of CBS-Dust on high strength concrete containing blast furnace slag will have a positive effect on reducing waste disposal cost and improving the strength.

  • A study was conducted on UHPC production using the silicone mold method. UHPC (Ultra-High-Performance Concrete) has the advantage of being able to shape the product in a free-form shape on concrete, but when mass-producing products in one design, such as electronic products, rather than one-time products such as buildings and decorations Demolition is difficult with wood and mold.
