사각관을 이용한 태양열집열기의 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance of Flat-Plate Solar Collector with Rectangular Channels)

  • For the cost reduction of a flat-plate solar collector, a new galvanized iron collectro plate replaced the convenctional copper or alnminum collector plates and the flow channel was also modified to a rectangular channel for a better heat transfer performance. A simple analytical model was developed and agreed well with the experimental results. The results show better thermal performance for a rectangular channel than for a conventional circular channel.

  • This study shows the results on thermal performance test with domestic solar collector for low-temperature applications using KS, then reveals the efficiency difference between KS and EN standard. Using the test results, this study Presents the status of thermal performance with domestic solar collector including flat-plate, single evacuated, and double evacuated (with mirror or U-tube) solar collector.

  • The application of solar energy in residential building is general and natural in today. And application methods of solar thermal energy is divided in two kind of form, single evacuated tube and flat-plate form. Then in this study, the efficiency of single evacuated tube and flat-plate system is compared by total and effective area considering the time receiving the solar radiation between 24 hours and the specific time(10:00~15:00). As a result of the experiment, single evacuated tube and flat-plate collector's efficiency is varied by the quantity of solar radiation. And especially, the flat-plate system is more affected by outdoor temperature. Therefore the application of solar thermal system should be considered the solar radiation and outdoor temperature.

  • 태양열(太陽熱) 축열장치(蓄熱裝置)의 개발(開發)을 위(爲)한 기초자료(基礎資料)를 얻기 위(爲)하여 태양열(太陽熱)의 축열매체(蓄熱媒體)로 돌을 이용(利用)한 평판집열기(平板集熱器)을 제작(製作)하여 집열기(集熱器)의 효율(效率), 총열전달계수(總熱傳達係數), 집열기(集熱器)에 의(依)한 상승온도등(上昇溫度等)을 분석(分析)하고 이를 열원(熱源)으로 벼와 고추에 대(對)한 건조실험(乾燥實驗)을 하였다. 초기함수율(初期含水率) 24.5%인 벼를 14.5%까지 건조(乾燥)시키는데 상온통풍건조(常溫通風乾燥)에서는 약(約) 18일(18日), 튜브형집열기(型集熱器)에서 약(約) 12일(12日), 평판집열기(平板集熱器)에서 약(約) 10일(10日)이 소요(所要)되었으며 통고추 건조(乾燥)의 경우 일광건조(日光乾燥)에서 약(約) 68시간(68時間), 튜브형집열기(型集熱器)에서 약(約) 38시간(38時間), 평판집열기(平板集熱器)에서 약(約) 36시간(36時間)이 소요(所要)되었다. 고추를 절단(切斷)하여 건조(乾燥)할 경우 수평(水平)으로 절단(切斷)하는 것이 효과적(效果的)이었으며 건조(乾燥) 과정중(過程中) capsanthine과 capsaicine성분(成分)의 변화(變化)는 건조방법(乾燥方法)이나 절단방법(切斷方法)에 따라 고추의 품질(品質)에 영향(影響)을 미치는 정도(程度)는 아니라고 사료(思料)되었다.

태양열 집열판에 작용하는 풍압계수 분포 특성 (Characteristics of Wind Pressure Distributions Acting on Solar Collector Plate)

  • This paper attempted to bridge this gap by identifying the number of flat-plate solar collectors. The characteristics of wind pressure coefficients acting on flat-plate solar collectors which are most widely used were investigated for various wind direction. Findings from this study found that the location where the maximum wind pressure coefficient occurred in the solar collector was the edge of the collector. Regarding the characteristics according to the number of collectors, the paper found that downward wind pressure coefficient of the lower edge of the collector was higher than the upward wind pressure coefficient of the upper edge of the collector in the basic module (1 piece). However, as the number of collectors increases, the upward wind pressure coefficient of the upper edge become higher than the downward wind pressure coefficient of the lower edge. Finally yet important, it was found that the location of the maximum wind pressure coefficient was changed according to the number of solar collectors.

  • The purpose of this research is to improve the thermal effiency of solar collector and to quantitatively analyze its performance. Solar thermal systems have been limited to water heating systems mainly using low-temperature range. However, through diverse developments, the application has been extended to medium- and high-temperature fields such as solar heating, solar air conditioning, and solar thermal industrial process. Among the diverse research, this research is specially focusing on enhancement of the thermal performance by minimizing the heat loss coefficient of flat plate solar collectors. In order to do it, a front-side glazing material and a back-side insulation material with high insulated structure is proposed and based on computational analysis, the performance of energy collecting volume of the proposed solar collector is analyzed. The research shows that the proposed structure has the excellent performance at medium- and high-temperature range. therefore, it is expected that the proposed structure can easily replace existing technologies.

  • This paper presents the performance of a Flat-Plate Solar Collector in case of taking into account of the thermal capacitance. The relationships among energy absorption, overall heat loss coefficient and temperature distribution are studied theoretically. And the thermal capacitance of the collector is considered. Also, the results obtained are compared with those of model in which the thermal capacitance is neglected. As the results of this study, the efficiency of the collector having double glazing is higher than the other cases. It is shown that the fluid temperature in the tubes are rising close to linearly. The variations of the outlet temperature of tubes in the model neglecting the effect of thermal capacitance are tend to represent lower slope than that of considering the effect of thermal capacitance.

지역난방용 태양열시스템 (Solar District Heating System)

  • This study was carried out solar heating system design for district heating and it's the performance analysis by experiment. This experimental system was installed in Bundang district heating area in the end of 2006. The flat plate and vacuum tube solar collector are combined in one system. So district heating water is heated first by flat plate solar collector and than by vacuum tube solar collector. This solar heating system has not a solar buffer tank and is operating with variable flow rate to obtain a setting temperature of $90{\sim}95^{\circ}C$. As a result, the daily solar thermal collection efficiency is about 30 to 40% for the plate type and 50 to 55% for the vacuum tube solar collector. It varied especially depend on the weather condition like as solar radiation and ambient temperature. This variable flow rate system can be also reduced much pumping power more than 50%.

복합형 태양열 가열기의 일일 운전 특성 및 축열 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on Thermal Storage Performance and Characteristics of Daily Operation of a Hybrid Solar Air-Water Heater)

  • In this study, a thermal storage performance and characteristics of daily operation were investigated when the air and the liquid were heated simultaneously by a hybrid solar air-water heater that can make hot water as well as heated air. The hybrid solar air-water heater is kind of a flat plate solar collector that can make hot water and heated air by installing air channel beneath absorber plate of traditional flat plate solar collector for hot water. As a result of daily operation, maximum water temperature reached in a thermal storage was shown $44^{\circ}C$ on 73kg/h of air mass flow rate and about $40^{\circ}C$ on 176kg/h of air mass flow rate. Thus, the necessity of heating water in thermal storage by operating only liquid side was confirmed when the temperature of liquid in thermal storage is lower than we need. In case of efficiency investigated on daily operation, the thermal efficiency of the liquid side was decreased with increment of the inlet liquid temperature and decrement of the solar radiation, but efficiency of the air side was increased with increment of inlet liquid temperature difference as the traditional solar air heater. Total thermal efficiency of the collector was shown from 65.85% to 78.23% and it was decreased with increment of the inlet liquid temperature and decrement of solar radiation same as the traditional system.

태양열급탕시스템의 집열기 배열에 따른 에너지성능 분석 및 평가 (Analysis on the Energy Performance of Solar Water Heating System according to the Configuration of Flat Plate Collectors)

  • The objective of this work is to analyze the variation in energy performance for each flat plate collector connected in series. In this study, it was assumed that solar water heating system with annual solar fraction of 60% was installed in an office building in Seoul, South Korea. The transient energy performance corresponding to four cases, which are selected using different solar radiation and outdoor air temperature, is studied by analyzing the variation in outlet temperature, solar useful heat gain, and thermal efficiency of each collector. It is observed that the useful heat gain and the collector efficiency decrease continuously, and outlet temperature increases when increasing the number of collector connected in series. The long-term performance is assessed by evaluating the thermal efficiency of each collector for two solar radiation conditions ranging from 780 to $820W/m^2$ and from 380 to $420W/m^2$. It is found that the differences between the intercept and slope of the efficiency curves for first and eighth collectors are 3.68% and 6.74% for solar radiation of $800{\pm}20W/m^2$ and 8.57% and 12.90% for solar radiation of $400{\pm}20W/m^2$, respectively. In addition, it is interesting to note that annual useful heat gain and collector efficiency are reduced with similar rate of about 6.13% when increasing the collector area by connecting the collectors in series.
