경유와 메탄올의 유출표면에 따른 화재특성에 관한 실험적 고찰 (An Experimental Investigation on Fire Characteristics of Light Oil & Methanol for Spilled Surface)

  • In this study, tank truck incidents of road transport of hazardous materials to experimental investigated the potential fire hazard. Real scale fire was to perform experiments for on this qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. Particularly affected by radiant heat from the flames caused and damage estimates range investigated accordingly. Flame temperature, internal temperature of tank and emitted radiation from the flames was investigated. The flame of light oil spill caused a fire at a temperature of about $300^{\circ}C$ high in comparison with the methanol by combustion of diesel and methanol, according to the difference, the flame duration changes varies depending on the Burning rate, amount of radiant heat flux from light oil fire was 4 times increases compared with fire of methanol. Depending on spill locations(kinds of road surfaces, absorbing rate) and the longer the duration of the flame important factors for the internal temperature of tank truck rise was found. Dirt roads than paved road accident in a fire caused by leakage of hazardous was could the higher the damaged. Therefor, Fire suppression activities should be required in particular to be around.

  • In the event of a fire on the outer walls of an architectural structure, through real scale experiments with the purpose of estimating the Flame Trajectory, the behavior and risks of expanded combustion to an upper architectural compartment of the Fire Plume Ejected from an Opening according to changes in the aspect ratio of the opening were examined. The results showed that the more the heat release rate of the fire source increased, the heat capacity of the Fire Plume Ejected from the Opening also increased, and for the case of heptane when compared with methanol or ethanol, the results showed a trend for a significant amount of unburned gas to remain. The results also showed that the larger the aspect ratio was, the more likely it was for the Flame Trajectory to approach the outer walls and rise up. In each of the experiment conditions, as the flame rose from the lower part of the wall to the upper part of the wall, a steady decrease was shown for the temperature distribution. Also by quantitatively analyzing the amount of unburned gas that remained, a method to estimate the temperature of the Fire Plume Ejected from an Opening for a traverse opening was implemented.

산불 지표화의 1차원 화염전파 모델의 수치해석 연구 - 평지조건 기반에서 - (A Numerical Study of 1-D Surface Flame Spread Model - Based on a Flatland Conditions -)

  • 산불의 확산특성은 일반적으로 가연물의 특성, 지형, 바람조건과 같은 기상 상태등과 관련이 있다. 산불의 발달과정에 있어 수치해석을 통한 확산예측 모델은 열전달 과정에 기본을 둔 열에너지 전달에 대한 해석이 가장 일반적인 방법론이다. 산불의 발생시 열에너지의 전파속도를 해석하는 것은 화염의 생성과 열전달, 그리고 소멸에 이르는 전 과정에 대한 물리적, 화학적 해석을 통해 화염의 이동에 따른 전파속도로 추정할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 고체연소물질의 표면화염전파에 대한 수치해석을 통해 1차원 지표화 확산모델식을 제시하였다. 1차원 확산모델식은 평지상태에서 풍속조건에 따른 화염의 전파속도 산정식으로써 지표연료의 화염유지시간, 화염의 높이, 화염의 온도, 지표연료의 착화온도 등에 대한 실험 및 이론식을 적용하였다. 실험값 및 다른 모델식과의 ROS 비교 결과, 풍속 3 m/s 이하의 조건에서는 지수함수식의 증가곡선을 나타내는 경향을 보였다. 침엽수종인 소나무 낙엽에 대한 수치해석값과 실험값을 비교한 결과, 풍속 1-2m/s 조건에서는 확산속도가 약 10% 상향예측이 되었고 풍속 3m/s 조건에서는 약 20% 하향예측 되었다. 따라서 앞으로 지표화 확산 예측을 위해 본 연구결과에서 얻어진 화염확산 알고리즘을 이용한 초기 산불확산 예측 적용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

  • This Study is to suggest a method of effect evaluation of forest fire on governor station in shrub land. Theoretically, to evaluate effects of forest fire, it is combined that Spread Rate of Forest Fire, Flame Model, and Thermal Radiation Effects Model; i.e. a travel time of forest fire is calculated by Spread Rate of Forest Fire, fire-line intensity is calculated by Flame Model, and effects of fire-line intensity is affected by Thermal Radiation Effects Model. With the aforementioned method, we could carry out the effect evaluation of forest fire on governor station in shrub land and could distinguish scenarios to need protection plan from all scenarios.

  • 본 연구는 현장방염처리 물품에 대한 성능검사와 관련하여 불합리한 제도를 개선하고, 합리적인 방염성능검사 방법을 통하여 현장방염처리 물품에 대한 방염의 신뢰성을 확보하는데 궁극적인 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 최근 2년 동안 일선 소방관서에서 실시한 현장방염처리 물품에 대한 방염성능검사 실적을 토대로 최근에 사용되는 인테리어 마감자재 및 현장방염처리 경향에 대한 분석을 하였다. 또한 현장방염처리물품에 대한 성능검사 방법 및 절차, 방염처리업 등록제도의 문제점 등을 분석하여 현 실정에 적합한 방염성능검사 방법 및 성능검사의 신뢰성 확보를 위한 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

  • A room-corner fire scenario of ISO 9705 with flame spread model developed by Quintiere is applied to the interior finish materials to show the sensitivity of properties derived from AST, E-1321 and ASTM E-1354 is investigated and various range of thermal properties by the author were analyzed in the model. There are including flame heat flux and thermal inertia, lateral flame spread parameter, heat of combustion and effective heat of gasfication.   • Since installing a balcony can significantly reduce the spread of fire, fire spread to the upper levels was confirmed, comparing the cases with and without balcony extension. It was confirmed that the fire can spread not only to the next higher level but also to two levels higher due to the outburst of flame which reached a significant temperature in the case without balcony, while the possibility of fire spread to the upper level reduced considerably with the balcony. this study is compared and analyzed to vertical diffusion appearance of an externally venting flame. An installed balcony is also applied to fire test 6.54kW to analyze about effect of a balcony.
