This paper is to review a literature concerning Bus Transit Route Network Design(BTRNDP), to describe a future study direction for a systematic application for the BTRNDP. Since a bus transit uses a fixed route, schedule, stop, therefore an approach methodology is different from that of auto network design problem. An approach methodology for BTRNDP is classified by 8 categories: manual & guideline, market analysis, system analytic model. heuristic model. hybrid model. experienced-based model. simulation-based model. mathematical optimization model. In most previous BTRNDP, objective function is to minimize user and operator costs, and constraints on the total operator cost, fleet size and service frequency are common to several previous approach. Transit trip assignment mostly use multi-path trip assignment. Since the search for optimal solution from a large search space of BTRNDP made up by all possible solutions, the mixed combinatorial problem are usually NP-hard. Therefore, previous researches for the BTRNDP use a sequential design process, which is composed of several design steps as follows: the generation of a candidate route set, the route analysis and evaluation process, the selection process of a optimal route set Future study will focus on a development of detailed OD trip table based on bus stop, systematic transit route network evaluation model. updated transit trip assignment technique and advanced solution search algorithm for BTRNDP.
In environmental policy areas, a greater use of economic instruments (EIs) has recently been observed in many countries. However, EIs are heterogeneous policy tools. The textbook case of a Pigouvian tax is far from widely used, mainly due to the information requirements and other structural and institutional constraints. The successful implementation of EIs might heavily depend on pre-existing structural and institutional conditions. Moreover, these institutional conditions are particularly unfavorable in developing countries. Using a simple analytical general equilibrium model, this paper examines how these constraints affect the welfare gain from the introduction of environmental taxes in developing countries. First, this paper solves for the second-best optimal Pigouvian tax and output tax in the presence of a distortionary tax on market use of labor. The result confirms that an environmental output tax achieves a socially-efficient level of emissions in the least-cost manner only if the nature of the linkage between the tax base and the environmental damage is fixed. Second, incorporating structural and institutional constraints into the model through a set of parameter values from China and the US, this paper calculates the net welfare effects of either using the ideal Pigouvian tax or instead using an output tax. The numerical simulation results show that the net welfare gain from the use of an ideal Pigouvian tax could be more than six times larger than that of an output tax in developing countries. On the other hand, the welfare gain is only 50 percent in developed countries. This means that the potential welfare disadvantage from using output taxes instead emissions tax for environmental purposes could be much greater in the case of developing countries.

The paper manufactories in Sangpyeong Industrial Estates, Chinju, produce more than 80 tons of paper-mill sludge cakes every day, which costs about 840 million won for dump per year. Since the paper-mill sludge is biodegradable, the sludge can he utilized as an organic fertilizer if it is properly decomposed. This may lead to not only dramatic cut of the treatment cost but prevention from secondary environmental contamination due to dump. The primary objective of the study was to explore the quantitative range of major enviromental parameters influencing early composting of paper-mill cakes, naturally pretreated in warn and cold weather. The automatically-controlled reactor was designed, manufactured, and operated for nine days to decompose about 2201 of raw sludge cakes. Four tests(Test 1-Test 4) were implemented for the study of Phase I. Treatments of two levels of initial temperature (40˚C and 28˚C) and two levels of water content + C/N ratio (35% + 40 and 63% + 80) were made to test the significance of their parameters for decomposition of raw sludge cakes pretreated in warm weather. Another four tests (Test 5- Test 8) were implemented for the study of Phase II. Treatments of initial temperature and water content(W/C) + C/N ratio of raw sludge pretreated in cold weather were made to 16˚C and 13% +58 for Test 5, 6˚C and 53% +55 for Test 6, 7˚C and 36% +81 for Test 7, 31˚C and 30% +81 for Test 8. Natural weater condition(pretreatment condition) revealed the importance m composting of the paper-mill sludge cakes. Combination of water content adjustment to about 30% with C/N ratio amendment of about 20 and initial temperature of 30~40˚C was concluded to be the best for early composting of paper-mill sludge cakes with aeration rate and pH fixed. Temperature and C/N ratio were adapted as judging variables for composting degree. In addition, tests for microbial activity were performed to validate the experimental results. Since the temperature and C/N ratio did not coincide in some tests as judging variables for the maturity of the composting sludges, taking one of these parameters could mislead the concept of the maturity (composting conceptually new criterion to provide more reliable information for early composting of paper-mill sludge cakes.
By the end of 2017, in a world of 7.6 billion people, there were inequalities in healthcare indices both within and between nations, and this gap continues to increase. Therefore, this study aims to understand the current status of regional inequalities in healthcare indices and to find an action plan to tackle regional health inequality through a geo-economic review in Korea. Since 2008, there was great inequality in life expectancy and healthy life expectancy by region in not only metropolitan cities but also districts in Korea. While the community health statistics from 2008-2017 show a continuous increase of inequality during the last 10 years in most healthcare indices related to noncommunicable diseases (except for some, like smoking), the inequality has doubled in 254 districts. Furthermore, health inequality intensified as the gap between urban (metropolitan cities) and rural regions (counties) for rates of obesity (self-reported), sufficient walking practices, and healthy lifestyle practices increased from twofold to fivefold. However, regionalism and uneven development are natural consequences of the spatial perspective caused by state-lead developmentalism as Korea has fixed the accumulation strategy as its model for growth with the background of export-led industrialization in the 1960s and heavy and chemical industrialization in the 1970s, although the Constitution of the Republic of Korea recognizes the legal value of balanced development within the regions by specifying "the balanced development of the state" or "ensuring the balanced development of all regions." In addition, the danger of a 30% decline or extinction of local government nationwide is expected by 2040 as we face not only a decline in general and ageing populations but also the era of the demographic cliff. Thus, the government should continuously operate the "Special Committee on Regional Balanced Development" with a government-wide effort until 2030 to prevent disparities in the health conditions of local residents, which is the responsibility of the nation in terms of strengthening governance. To address the regional inequalities of rural and urban regions, it is necessary to re-adjust the basic subsidy and cost-sharing rates with local governments of current national subsidies based mainly on population scale, financial independence of local government, or distribution of healthcare resources and healthcare indices (showing high inequalities) overall.

Network RTK positioning, one of GNSS positioning systems, is currently very popular due to its easy operation and low cost. However, the network RTK positioning unquestioningly accepts observation result acquired with an ambiguity fixed-solution regardless of different field conditions and situations, and then it is applied to the practice. This paper, therefore, has investigated the effects of field conditions obtained network RTK survey data for the area with obstacles on the variation of positioning accuracy. Being explained in detail, after conducting survey by GPS-only positioning and combined GPS/GLONASS observations giving changes to the distance from obstacles and elevation angles, and then accuracy results of each positioning method were compared each other. As a result, while GPS-only point positioning method showed more stable results than combined GPS/GLONASS method in the areas with no obstacles, combined method gave better result than GPS-only for the areas with presence of obstacles. Based on the results of this experiment, when the further study is conducted with a variety of different field conditions affecting the survey accuracy, it can be expected that the accuracy of network RTK survey method would become to more popular.
The use of petroleum fuels in grain drying causes problems of high cost and management. To solve these problems, it is required to study on soLar energy as an alternative to petroleum fuels for grain drying. The purposes of this study were to find out the optimum received area and air flow rate of a flat-plate solar air collector for grain drying and to assess its effects on grain drying with a small grain bin. The results of this study are summarized as follows ; 1. The calculated optimum tilt angles of the collector in the summer and autumn drying seasons were 20 and 50 degress, respectively, in suwon area. 2. The outlet temperature of the collector was $36^\circ C$ on the daily average with the maximum of $36^\circ C$ at 12:00 o clock. Solar radiation on the collector surface was 1.04 ly( 1 langley = 1 cal/$cm^2$) per minute on the daily average and 1.30 ly per minute on the maximum at 11:00am. The thermal efficiency of the collector was 62.4 percent on the daily average, and the air flow-rate per unit receiving are was 1.03 $m^3$/min/$m^2$.4. The calculated optimum receiving area and the air flow-rate per unit cubic volume for paddy in autumn drying season was 2 $m^2$ and 2$m^3$/min , respectively. 5. not significantly difference in the collector efficiency was appeared between the rotating and fixed type of solar collector. 6. For drying of wheat with 0.6 meter of the depth in the bin, approximately 9 hours were required to reduce the moisture content from 21.6% to 13% with air follow rate of 5 $m^3$/min an initial moisture per cubic meter of wheat and with air temperature of $52^\circ C$. 7. In the drying test of rough rice with a turning operation in a grain bin approximately 21 hours were required to reduced the moisture from 21% to 14.5% with airflow rate of 2 $m^3$/min per cubic meter of rice and the air temperature of $43.5^\circ C$. 8. Over-drying at the bottom and less -drying at the top of the grain mass was resulted from the high -temperature of drying air which was obtained from the flat-plate solar collector in this test. An appropriate operation should be prepared for the uniform moisture of the grain in the bin.
Recently, to using chemical coagulation process for T-P removal in STP effluent as tertiary treatment process is generalized in the country. The importance of analysis technique to save the treatment & maintenance cost during coagulation process is becoming more increased each day. Thus, it is necessary for the analysis technique during coagulation process to be presented well the characteristic of coagulation in field apply. There are a few analysis techniques such as Jar Test, zeta potential analysis and streaming current detecting techniques. But there are difficult to apply in field immediately due to long test time and difficult analysis techniques. And using PDA technique, it is reviewed applicability of the techniques as field index on pilot plant of P-CAP system The P-CAP system is composed of an in-line static mixer, a Flocculation Tank and the CAP reactor with 2 stage weir for effluent. Pre-test is performed to fix the mixing velocity in the Flocculation Tank using the PDA equipment and it fixed with 30RPM. Also, Jar Test is performed to select optimum dose of each coagulant for each T-P concentration level of influent. Result of continuous test on pilot plant of P-CAP system, the FSI in the Flocculation Tank is increased consistently by increasing each dosing concentration of coagulant such as LAS and PAC in the low level influent T-P concentration comparatively. It is considered that formed Al-hydroxide complexes for dosed coagulant are caused FSI variation. Furthermore, it seems that FSI value in the high level influent T-P concentration appeared lower than the opposite influent condition relatively because it is formed simultaneously Al-hydroxide complexes as solid type and Al-phosphorus complexes as soluble type. Thus, relation of FSI by PDA technique and T-P removal of final effluent on pilot plant of P-CAP system are very limited for the kind of coagulant and the characteristics of influent. And it though that FSI value by PDA technique with analyzing of turbidity in Flocculation Tank will be used restrictedly on field as the relative field-index.

The purpose of this study was to model the effect of flushing discharge on algae removal by multi-purpose weir operation in Yeongsan River (Seungchon Weir) using a 3-dimensional (3D) model. The chlorophyceae Eudorina sp. formed bloom in May 2013. Flushing discharge was conducted in two different ways for algal bloom reduction. To elucidate the spatial variability, a high-resolution 3D model, ELCOM-CAEDYM, was used to simulate the spatial variations of water quality and chl-a over a month. The results showed that ELCOM-CAEDYM could reproduce highly spatially resolved field data at low cost, and showed very good performance in simulating the pattern of algal bloom occurrence. The effect of each flushing discharge operation was analyzed with the results of modeling. The results of case 1, flushing discharge using an open movable weir, showed that the algal bloom between the Seochang Bridge and the Hwangryong River junction is rapidly flushed after operating the movable weir, but the residual algae remained in the weir pool as the discharge decreased. However, the results of case 2, fixed weir overflow with a small hydropower stop, showed that most of the algae was removed after flushing discharge and the effect of algae removal was much bigger than that in case 1, as per modeling results and observed data.

The accuracy of small and low cost CCD camera is insufficient to provide data for precisely tracking unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs). This study shows how UAV can hover on a human targeted tracking object by using CCD camera rather than imprecise GPS data. To realize this, UAVs need to recognize their attitude and position in known environment as well as unknown environment. Moreover, it is necessary for their localization to occur naturally. It is desirable for an UAV to estimate of his attitude by environment recognition for UAV hovering, as one of the best important problems. In this paper, we describe a method for the attitude of an UAV using image information of a maker on the floor. This method combines the observed position from GPS sensors and the estimated attitude from the images captured by a fixed camera to estimate an UAV. Using the a priori known path of an UAV in the world coordinates and a perspective camera model, we derive the geometric constraint equations which represent the relation between image frame coordinates for a marker on the floor and the estimated UAV's attitude. Since the equations are based on the estimated position, the measurement error may exist all the time. The proposed method utilizes the error between the observed and estimated image coordinates to localize the UAV. The Kalman filter scheme is applied for this method. its performance is verified by the image processing results and the experiment.

Exploitation of address generation units which are typically provided in DSPs plays an important role in DSP code generation since that perform fast address computation in parallel to the central data path. Offset assignment is optimization of memory layout for program variables by taking advantage of the capabilities of address generation units, consists of memory layout generation and address pointer assignment steps. In this paper, we propose an effective address pointer assignment method to minimize the number of address calculation instructions in DSP code generation. The proposed approach reduces the time complexity of a conventional address pointer assignment algorithm with fixed memory layouts by using minimum cost-nodes breaking. In order to contract memory size and processing time, we employ a powerful pruning technique. Moreover our proposed approach improves the initial solution iteratively by changing the memory layout for each iteration because the memory layout affects the result of the address pointer assignment algorithm. We applied the proposed approach to about 3,000 sequences of the OffsetStone benchmarks to demonstrate the effectiveness of the our approach. Experimental results with benchmarks show an average improvement of 25.9% in the address codes over previous works.
