I broadband ISDN every packet will show different result if it would be processed according to its usage by the server. That is, normal data won't show big differences if they would be processed at normal speed. But it will improve the quality of service to process some kinds of data - for example real time video or voice type data or some data for a bid to by something through the internet - more fast than the normal type data. solution for this problem was suggested - priority packets. But the analyses of them are under way. Son in this paper a switching system for an output queuing model in a single server was assumed and some packets were given priorities and analysed. And correlation, simulating real life situation, was given too. These packets were analysed through three cases, first packets having no correlation, second packets having only correlation and finally packets having priority three cases, first packets having no correlation, second packets having only correlation and finally packets having priority and correlation. The result showed that correlation doesn't affect the mean delay time and the high priority packets have improved mean delay time regardless of the arrival rate. Those packets were assumed to be fixed-sized like ATM fixed-sized cell and the contention strategy was assumed to be short bus contention method for the output queue, and the mean delay length and the maximum 버퍼 length not to lose any packets were analysed.

In this paper, we focus on the per-flow throughput analysis of IEEE 802.11 multi-hop ad hoc networks. The importance of an accurate saturation throughput model lies in establishing the theoretical foundation for effective protocol performance improvements. We argue that the challenge in modeling the per-flow throughput in IEEE 802.11 multi-hop ad hoc networks lies in the analysis of the freezing process and probability of collisions. We first classify collisions occurring in the whole transmission process into instantaneous collisions and persistent collisions. Then we present a four-dimensional Markov chain model based on the notion of the fixed length channel slot to model the Binary Exponential Backoff (BEB) algorithm performed by a tagged node. We further adopt a continuous time Markov model to analyze the freezing process. Through an iterative way, we derive the per-flow throughput of the network. Finally, we validate the accuracy of our model by comparing the analytical results with that obtained by simulations.

The escape behavior of prey fish to predator attack is directly linked to the survival of the fish. In this study, I explored the escape behavior of Medaka fish to bird attacks. To simulate the attack, I designed a model triangular-shaped bird to slide along a fishing line connected between rods at both ends of the tank. The triangular shape was set to 10×15 (S=1), 15×20 (S=2), and 20×25 cm (S=3) with base×height. The slope (θ) of the fishing line, which determines the attack speed of the model bird, was set to values of 15° (θ=1), 30° (θ=2), and 45° (θ=3). The escape behavior was characterized using five variables: escape speed (ν), escape acceleration (α), responsiveness (γ), branch length similarity entropy (ε), and alignment (ϕ). The experimental results showed when (S, θ)=(fixed, varied), the change in values of the five variables were not significant. Thus, the fish respond more sensitively to S than to θ In contrast, when (S, θ)=(varied, fixed), ν, α, and γ showed increasing trends but ε and ϕ did not change much. This indicates the nature of fish escape behavior irrespective of the threat is inherent in ε and ϕ. I found that fish escape behavior can be divided into two types for the five physical quantities. In particular, the analysis showed that the type was mainly determined by the size of the model bird.

Busan-Geoje Fixed Link, total length of 8.2km, consist of bridge and immersed tunnel connects Gaduk island, Busan and Jangmokmyon, Geoje, in extension of the $58^{th}$ local road. The immersed tunnel, a total length of 3.7km within Busan-Geoje Fixed Link, was planed first timein domestic but the deep water depth like maximum of 50m with offshore conditions and the 35m thickness of soft clay layer under the immersed tunnel, migth be some problems like the differential settlement during or after works. So it was designed to install SCP(Sand Compaction Pile) column partially to improve the soft ground under the immersed tunnel. In this paper, it is presented to illustrate the design including ground condition under the immersed tunnel, improvement design, upheaval shape and ratio due to SCP test construction.
The purpose of this study is to characterize physical and tensile properties according to a knitting method as basic materials for solving the difficulties that occur due to the fact that the crosswise elongation is most different among knit stitch at the time of measuring elongation of knitwear. The sample used for this study was wool $100\%$ and was knitted into two, that is, controlled loop length controlled to properties of structure and fixed loop length by using Shimaseiki SES-124S 12G computer automatic flat knitting machine with DSCS device. Also, the density of rib fabric was 12gauge and its quantity was a total of seven of $0{\times}0,\;1{\times}1,\;2{\times}1,\;2{\times}2,\;3{\times}3,\;4{\times}4$ and including plain fabric, and knitted 2 pieces of sample of 300 wale${\times}400$ course. In conclusion, rib stitch has the much higher stretch rate in the direction of the course than other stitches.

The electrical characteristic of the conventional self-aligned polycrystalline silicon (poly-Si) TFTs are known to present several undesired effects such as large leakage current, kink effect and hot-carrier effects. In this paper, LTPS TFTs with different GOLDD length were fabricated and investigated the effect of the GOLDD. GOLDD length of 1, 1.5 and $2{\mu}m$ were used, while the thickness of the gate dielectrics($SiN_x/SiO_2$) was fixed at 65nm(40nm/25nm). The electrical characteristics show that the kink effect is reduced at the LTPS TFTs, and degradation from the hot-carrier effect was also decreased by increasing GOLDD length.

Nowadays, with increasing many vehicles on restricted roads, the conventional traffic light creates prove startup-delaytime and end-lag-time. The conventional traffic light loses the function of optimal cycle. And so, 30∼45% of conventional traffic cycle is not matched to the present traffic cycle. In this paper proposes electrosensitive traffic light using fuzzy look up table method which will reduce the average vehicle waiting time and improve average vehicle speed. Computer simulation results prove that reducing the average vehicle waiting time which proposed considering passing vehicle length for optimal traffic cycle is better than fixed signal method which doesn't consider vehicle length.
The effects of Reynolds number (Re), freestream turbulence intensity (Tu) and integral length scale (${\Lambda}$) on the drag coefficient ($C_d$) of a circular cylinder in cross flow were experimentally studied for $6.45{\times}10^3$ < Re < $1.82{\times}10^4$. With the help of orificed plates, Tu was fixed at approximately 0.5%, 5%, 7% and 9% and the normalized integral length scale (L/D) was varied from 0.35 to 1.05. Our turbulent results confirmed the general trend of decreasing $C_d$ with increasing Tu. The effectiveness of Tu in reducing $C_d$ is found to lessen with increasing ${\Lambda}$/D. Most interestingly, freestream turbulence of low Tu (${\approx}5%$) and large ${\Lambda}$/D (${\approx}1.05$) can increase the $C_d$ above the corresponding smooth flow value.

This study is for the stable optical source in order to get the precision measurement, which contributes to help the laser frequency and the output to be settled. The laser optical frequency is changed by the length of resonance cavity. The length variation of the laser resonance amplitude is affected by the thermal expansion of that system. So, we try not only to adjust the temperature of the laser tube using the heater for fine length of resonance cavity, but also to maintain the fixed temperature of the resonance cavity for outputting the safe laser optical frequency. Therefore, we must take materials with the thermal expansion of the supporting system, which is closer to it of the laser resonance cavity. Using the materials, we can promote to stabilize the temperature of it. In advance, we also plan to get the settlement of the laser frequency and the output in the long km, optimizing and stabilizing the system.

A pin fin with variable fin base thickness is optimized based on the ratio of heat loss to the maximum heat loss using a two-dimensional analytic method. The temperature profile along the normalized radius position in the fin is presented. For fixed fin outer radius, the optimum heat loss, fin length and efficiency as a function of fin base thickness, outer radius, convection characteristic numbers ratio and ambient convection characteristic number are presented. One of the results shows that the effect of fin outer radius and ambient convection characteristic number on the optimum fin length is remarkable.
