This study analyzed the impact of changes in the construction business on construction company insolvency according to their size using the vector error correction model. First, this study applied EDF (Expected Default Frequency), which was calculated by KMV (Kealhofer, McQuown and Vasicek) model, as a variable to indicate the insolvency of construction companies. This study set 30 construction companies listed to KOSPI/KOSDAQ for estimating the EDF by size and construction companies were divided into two groups according to their size. To examine the construction business cycles, the amount of construction orders according to the type-residential, non-residential, and civil work- was used as a variable. The serial data was retrieved from TS2000 established by the Korea Listed Companies Association (KLCA), Statistics Korea. The analysis period was between the second quarter of 2001 and fourth quarter of 2015. As a result of calculating the EDF of construction companies by size, as it is generally known, the large-sized construction companies showed lower levels of insolvency than relatively smaller-sized construction companies. On the other hand, impulse response analysis based on VECM confirmed that the level of insolvency of large-scaled companies is more sensitive to business fluctuations than relatively smaller-sized construction companies, particularly changes in the residential construction market. Hence it is a major factor affecting the changes in insolvency of large-sized construction companies.
In this paper we propose Fourier magnitudes based privacy preserving clustering on time-series data. The previous privacy-preserving method, called DFT coefficient method, has a critical problem in privacy-preservation itself since the original time-series data may be reconstructed from privacy-preserved data. In contrast, the proposed DFT magnitude method has an excellent characteristic that reconstructing the original data is almost impossible since it uses only DFT magnitudes except DFT phases. In this paper, we first explain why the reconstruction is easy in the DFT coefficient method, and why it is difficult in the DFT magnitude method. We then propose a notion of distance-order preservation which can be used both in estimating clustering accuracy and in selecting DFT magnitudes. Degree of distance-order preservation means how many time-series preserve their relative distance orders before and after privacy-preserving. Using this degree of distance-order preservation we present greedy strategies for selecting magnitudes in the DFT magnitude method. That is, those greedy strategies select DFT magnitudes to maximize the degree of distance-order preservation, and eventually we can achieve the relatively high clustering accuracy in the DFT magnitude method. Finally, we empirically show that the degree of distance-order preservation is an excellent measure that well reflects the clustering accuracy. In addition, experimental results show that our greedy strategies of the DFT magnitude method are comparable with the DFT coefficient method in the clustering accuracy. These results indicate that, compared with the DFT coefficient method, our DFT magnitude method provides the excellent degree of privacy-preservation as well as the comparable clustering accuracy.
This experiment was conducted to investigate the growing process, nitrogen content of leaves and grain weight of the tillers of three wheat and one barley cultivars under space planting condition. The rates of the ear-bearing tillers were highest in the main stem (MS) and followed by the Ist, 2nd, 3rd tiller of the first order tiller. The leaf emergencies on main stem and tillers of barley were found simmilar results to synchronously emerging leaf theory reported by katayama, however, one or more leaves were emerged from the tillers of wheat comparing to the theoretical numbers. The orders of the ear primordia development were MS 1st 2nd 3rd tiller. The differences of ear development between main stem and tillers were greatter in wheat than in barley. Total nitrogen content in leaf decreased accompanying with growth and the highest content were found on the higher ordered tillers. The order of the proportion of each stem grain weight to the grain yield per unit area was MS > 1st≒2nd > 3rd tiller.
Ten experimental tuna long line fishing operations were performed with the long lines A and B, in combination casting orders of BA and AB. The long line B differs from A in its additional main line length per basket and its greater depth of submersion (Table 1). The BA casting order results in an AB hauling order, so that the long line B is casted at an earlier time of a day and fishes for a longer period than A line (fig. 2). The number of fish caught was divided into subclasses in order to be subjected to $x^2-tests$ (Table 2). The first series of $x^2-tests$ were calculated using the hooking rates of two subclasses with other factors pooled (Table 3). The second series of $x^2-tests$ were calculated to obtain the interactions between two subclasses when other factors differed (Table 4). Attention was paid to the extremely small interactions as well as to the large interactions in order to find out whether a factor functions in the same way or in a contradictory way when the other factors involved differ. The test result is summarized in Table 5. The relationship between the hook casting time (relative to the sunrise time) and the hooking rates reveals the feeding behavior of particular species (fig. 3) A high hooking rate for yellowfin tuna shown in the period from one hour before sunrise to the moment of sunrise suggests that they feed actively in that period. Their poor hooking rate on earlier casted hooks suggests that they do not feed well under conditions of darkness and that they feed best while the hooks are sinking. Furthermore it is likely that yellowfin tuna maintain a shallow depth in the daytime, for the $x^2$ interaction between the line casting order BA and AB shows their persistant preferance of the long line A regardless of line casting order. Bigeye tuna show their feeding behavior under conditions of darkness, and show a preference for the sea's deeper layer. Alepisaurus borealis (Gill) show their feeding behavior under conditions of darkness more significantly than the bigeye tuna and their preferance for deep layers is also more significant. Marlins (mainly Makaria mazara) show a feeding behavior which is similar to the yellowfin tuna. The author emphasizes that certain variations of the hooking rates in relation to the line easting time were caused by an inadequate fishing depth as well as by the fish preference for a particular feeding time. When the part of the line casted in pre-dawn hours and hauled in the pre-sunset hours show a significantly lower hooking rate than other parts of the line, then it is concluded that tile hooks settled in a sea layer too deep for feeding.

In order to improve the efficiency of the branch-and-bound method for mixed-discrete nonlinear programming, a nonuniform convergence tolerance scheme is proposed for the continuous subproblem optimizations. The suggested scheme assigns the convergence tolerances for each continuous subproblem optimization according to the maximum constraint violation obtained from the first iteration of each subproblem optimization in order to reduce the total number of function evaluations needed to reach the discrete optimal solution. The proposed tolerance scheme is integrated with five branching order options. The comparative performance test results using the ten combinations of the five branching orders and two convergence tolerance schemes show that the suggested non-uniform convergence tolerance scheme is obviously superior to the uniform one. The results also show that the branching order option using the minimum clearance difference method performed best among the five branching order options. Therefore, we recommend using the "minimum clearance difference method" for branching and the "non-uniform convergence tolerance scheme" for solving discrete optimization problems.
A clinical study of 106 cases of $Henoch-Sch{\ddot{o}}nlein$ purpura was made. The author analyzed the result of Korean traditional medical therapy. It was observed more frequently in female at the sex ratio of 1:1.3. The most prevalent age group was $4{\sim}9$ years(56.6%). In seasonal incidence, the cases were frequent during spring(50%), and the main specific history was upper respiratory tract infection(48.1%). The duration of contraction was $420.9{\pm}1079.3$ days. The adults were more chronic than children (p<0.05), The clinical manifestation showed in the skin (100%), the gastrointestinal tract(62.3%), the joints(64.2%), the kidney(25.3%), genitourinary system(11.3%), headache(6.6%), and scalp edema(4.7%) respectively. The first outbreak of symptoms was showing of skin purpura in 77 cases(72.6%) the highest frequency. and the gastrointestinal tract and joints were 16(15.1%) and 12 cases(11.3%) respectively. Of all patients, 22 cases(20.8%) experienced recurrences and 47 patients(44.3%) experienced hospitalization treatment. In the patients group which were recurrence experiences, the recurrence rate was high with patients(63.2%) who usually enjoyed meats and convenience foods and in patients(84%) who treated URI with chemical drugs(p<0.05). The patients group(68.9%) that took steroids also experienced a relatively high recurrence rate. Out of the patients(68.9%) who took treatment with steroids, 46.6% experienced side effects, in orders moon face(100%), weight gain(47.1%), appetite increase(52.9%), and acne. alopecia(11.8%), etc. There was a statistically significant relationship between the period of taking the steroid and the side effects(p<0.05), As the result of the herbal medicine treatment(treatment period: $6.7{\pm}6.2$ weeks, a follow-up survey during $15{\sim}24$ months), 67 patients(91.8%) among the 73 patients(68.9%) under 18 years old recovered completely but 3 cases(4.5%) recurred. 23 patients(69.7%) among the 33 patients(31.3%) above 19 years recovered completely but 5 cases(21.7%) recurred.

This study was conducted to establish a principle on the fields of National Technical Qualification(NTQ), and aimed at developing criteria on requirements of the qualification that will be managed as the national technical qualification. In order to achieve the objective of the study, we examined the directions of setting the Jurisdiction of national technical qualification through role assignment between the state and private sectors. Also, we reviewed related documents, conducted Delphi survey, consulted the expert group and had an interview session for this study. There are five criteria of the jurisdiction of NTQ presented as follows. First is the field which disturbs social orders or has possibility of harming the good public morals; second, the field that requires high standards of ethics or is directly linked to life, health and safety of the public; third, the field which requires national attention for training of manpower as it is an area that is difficult for private sector to approach or it requires national management; fourth, the field which requires repair or maintenance of resources of traditional culture but is difficult for the private sector to have an access to and fifth, the field where it needs to protect the interest of the nation in the inter-nation relationships. The concrete and detailed standard on the five criteria is also presented in the study.

Over the past 15 years, several groups have incorporated radio-frequency quadrupole (RFQ) based instruments before the accelerator in accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) systems for ion-gas interactions at low kinetic energy (<40 eV). Most AMS systems arebased on a tandem accelerator, which requires negative ions at injection. Typically, AMS sensitivity abundance ratios for radioactive-to-stable isotope are limited to Xr/Xs >10^-15, and the range of isotopes that can be analyzed is limited because of theneed to produce rather large negative ion beams and the presence of atomic isobaric interferences after stripping. The potential of using low-kinetic energy ion-gas interactions for isobar suppression before the accelerator has been demonstrated for several negative ion isobar systems with a prototype RFQ system incorporated into the AMS system at IsoTrace Laboratory, Canada (Ontario, Toronto). Requisite for any such RFQ system applied to very rare isotope analysis is large transmission of the analyte ion. This requires proper phase-space matching between the RFQ acceptance and the ion beam phase space (e.g. 35 keV, ${\varphi}3mm$, +-35 mrad), and the ability to control the average ion energy during interactions with the gas. A segmented RFQ instrument is currently being designed at Korea Institute for Science and Technology (한국과학기술연구원, KIST). It will consist of: a) an initial static voltage electrode deceleration region, to lower the ion energy from 35 keV down to <40 eV at injection into the first RFQ segment; b) the segmented quadrupole ion-gas interaction region; c) a static voltage electrode re-acceleration region for ion injection into a tandem accelerator. Design considerations and modeling will be discussed. This system should greatly lower the detection limits of the 6 MV AMS system currently being commissioned at KIST. As an example, current detection sensitivity of 41Ca/Ca is limited to the order of 10^-15 while the 41Ca/Ca abundance in modern samples is typically 41Ca/Ca~10^-14 - 10^-15. The major atomic isobaric interference in AMS is 41K. Proof-of-principal work at IsoTrace Lab. has demonstrated that a properly designed system can achieve a relative suppression of KF3-/41CaF3- >4 orders of magnitude while maintaining very high transmission of the 41CaF3- ion. This would lower the 41Ca detection limits of the KIST AMS system to at least 41Ca/Ca~10^-19. As Ca is found in bones and shells, this would potentially allow direct dating of valuable anthropological archives and archives relevant to our understanding of the most pronounced climate change events over the past million years that cannot be directly dated with the presently accessible isotopes.
This study is focused on the problems and the suggestions of proper ideas for solving them which are arisen from appling CIF, Incoterms 1990 into the contract of sale after reviewing of the contents of traditional CIF contract and the main changes of CIF, Incoterms 1990. This study summerized as follows: First, when the seller provide the buyer with non-negotiable sea waybill or inland waterway document instead of negotiable bill of lading, it is my feeling that the essence of symbolic delivery in traditional CIF contract is fading. And if the buyer has paid for the goods in advance, or a bank wishes to use the goods as security for a loan extended to the buyer, it is not sufficient that the buyer or the bank be named as consignee in a non-negotiable document. This is true because the seller by new instractions to the carrier could replace the named consignee with someone else. To protect the buyer or the bank it is therefore necessary that the original instructions from the seller to the carrier to deliver the goods to the named consignee be irrevocable. Second, CIF term can only be used for sea and inland waterway transport. When the ship's rail serves no practical purposes such as in the case of roll-on/roll-off or container traffic, CIP term instead of CIF term is more appropriate to use. Third, the EDI method still contains many legal and technical problems to be solved in order to be used thoroughly' in the international sale of goods. Therefore, the parties wishing to replace the traditional paper-based trade documents by electronic messages must exchange the agreement on EDI each other in order to prevent and sol ye unexpected problems. Forth, it may be that the goods are to be carried in bulk without such marking or naming of consignee as would amount to appropriation. Then the risk will not pass until effective appropriation has been made. Therefore, the seller needs to appropriate by issuing of separate bills of lading or delivery orders for parts of the bulk cargo. And in case the goods are bought while they are carried at sea, some problems on the passing of risk would arise. One possibility is that the buyer might have to assume risks which have already occured at the time when the contract of sale is entered into force. The other possibility would be to let the pissing of the risk concide with the time when the contract of sale is concluded. The parties are advised to ascertain the applicable law and any solution which might follow there form. Finally, Incoterms are restricted to deal with the main principles for the division of functions, costs and risks between the parties and the rest is left to their individual contract as supplemented by the custom of the trade, the individual terms of the contract of sale and the applicable law. Thus, the parties are advised to ascertain the applicable law on their individual contract of sale in order to solve the problems on the transfer of property, the remedy and so on.

In this study, abiotic transformation of TNT reduction products via oxidative-coupling reaction was investigated using Mn oxide. In batch experiments, all the reduction products tested were completely transformed by birnessite, one of natural Mn oxides present in soil. Oxidative-coupling was the major transformation pathway, as confirmed by mass spectrometric analysis. Using observed pseudo-first-order rate constants with respect to birnessite loadings, surface area-normalized specific rate constants, $k_{surf}$, were determined. As expected, $k_{surf}$ of diaminonitrotoluenes (DATs) ($1.49{\sim}1.91\;L/m^2{\cdot}day$) are greater about 2 orders than that of dinitroaminotoluenes (DNTs) ($1.15{\times}10^{-2}{\sim}2.09{\times}10^{-2}\;L/m^2{\cdot}day$) due to the increased number of amine group. In addition, by comparing the value of $k_{surf}$ between DNTs or DATs, amino group on ortho position is likely to be more preferred for the oxidation by birnessite. Although cross-coupling of TNT in the presence of various mediator compounds was found not to be feasible, transformation of TNT by reduction using $Fe^0$ followed by oxidative coupling using Mn oxide was efficient, as evaluated by UV-visible spectrometry.
