Purpose: Meta-analysis of this study was to analyze the character of adolescent smoking cessation programs, to calculate the effect size according to variables and to compare the weighted mean effect sizes on adolescent smoking cessation programs in Korea. Methods: Twenty two studies for meta-analysis were selected from dissertations, theses, articles and research papers that had been published from 1995 to 2003. The selected studies had a randomized or nonequivalent control group in a pretest-post test design and had reported statistical value to calculate the effect size. Results: The mean number of sessions was 6.5. The education time per each session varied from 40 to 150 min and the most applied theories were Bandura's social-cognitive theory and the cognitive-behavioral theory. Smoking-knowledge, smoking-attitudes and smoking-amount showed high effects on the first post test after mediating adolescent smoking cessation programs according to the criteria of Cohen. The effect size of urine-cotinine found no homogeneity on the first post test, but it was significantly effective on the second post test. Conclusion: Adolescent smoking cessation programs analyzed in this study were relatively effective in smoking abstinence.

The study aims to provide the potential for commercialization of traditional martial arts selection. First, we was reviewed by comparing the general purpose and major enterprise of the Koreataekkyon and the Korean Taekkyon Association. Second, analyzed the related results of the Business and the related papers published in the recently 3 years. Through this, I have following suggestions. A new departure from the emerging world should challenge the new paradigm beyond traditional culture and sports. To do so, one must first excavate the sports industry (startups). Second, there should be education about entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship. Third, we need to establish a dedicated organization that supports business.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate about missed abortion pathophysiology, diagnosis, medical treatment and to research the trend of the study related to missed abortion. Methods: We referred a PubMed site by using search word of "missed abortion"(Limits: 3 Year, only items with abstracts, Human). Results: 37 journals with 49 papers were searched. Conclusion: 1. The study of missed abortion pathophysiology was the following. The first was that important pathologies such as molar pregnancy and placental trophoblastic disease can be diagnosed by routine histopathologic analysis of product of conception following first-trimester spontaneous miscarriages. The second was that coelomic fluid leptin concentration in missed abortion is higher than in normal. The third was that adenosine deaminae activity in serum and placenta of patients with anembryonic pregnancies and missed abortions was low. The forth was that Leptotrichia amnionii sp. nov. was the etiopathogenetic factor in missed abortion. 2. Transvaginal ultrasound assessment of irregular vaginal bleeding is effective in diagonosis of missed abortion. 3. There were medical therapy with misoprostol, mifepristone or anti progesterone for missed abortion. Misoprostol was administrated oral(sublingual) and vaginal.

This study analyzes the research trends and evaluates the specialized characteristics of the journal of Korea healthcare architecture. Total 308 papers from 1995(Vol.1) to 2010(Vol.16) were analyzed by following seven criteria: (1) research focus by analyzing the key words of each paper; (2) research method(qualitative and quantitative research); (3) research nature(practical/prescriptive vs. theoretical/normative); (4) research target(healthcare, welfare, and others); (5) researcher characteristics(position, major, and numbers of author); (6) supported research(in-university, out-of-university, and out-of-pocket funds); and (7) international study. The research findings include followings. First, research focus lies in the function of healthcare and welfare facilities. Second, qualitative method is the dominant form of research. Third, practical/prescriptive research continuously increases. Fourth, research target is mainly a healthcare facility, while the research of welfare facility is increasing. Fifth, the considerable numbers of first author are graduate students. Sixth, out-of-university research funds increase. Finally, international studies related to Japan are mostly published.

It is well known that the behavior of PV curves is similar to a quadratic function. This is used in some papers to approximate PV curves and calculate the maximum-loading point by minimum number of power flow runs. This paper also based on quadratic approximation of the PV curves is aimed at completing previous works so that the computational efforts are reduced and the accuracy is maintained. To do this, an iterative method based on a quadratic function with two constant coefficients, instead of the three ones, is used. This simplifies the calculation of the quadratic function. In each iteration, to prevent the calculations from diverging, the equations are solved on the assumption that voltage magnitude at a selected load bus is known and the loading factor is unknown instead. The voltage magnitude except in the first iteration is selected equal to the one at the nose point of the latest approximated PV curve. A method is presented to put the mentioned voltage in the first iteration as close as possible to the collapse point voltage. This reduces the number of iterations needed to determine the maximum-loading point. This method is tested on four IEEE test systems.

The purpose of this study was to review national mental health policy goal in Korea and America, and to suggest strategies for advancing the national mental health policy in Korea. Objectives: First, the review of nation mental health policy in Korea. Second, the review of nation mental health policy in America. Third, the development of nation mental health plan in Korea. Methods: To achieve this objectives, review the books, journals, and national published papers and so on. Results: First, 15 goals are planned for mental health promotion in Korea Health Plan 2010. Second, 14 goals and multiple strategies are planned for mental health promotion in America Healthy People 2010. Third, 3 plans are suggested for mental health promotion in Korea. Conclusion: Mental Health is essential dimension in holistic health. And mental health promotion has been increasingly emphasized in national health plan. Therefore, effective nation mental health policy establishment would be needed continuously.

In this study, it provides the diagnostic index for the rural landscape formation. For the development of diagnostic index, this study first analyzed documents and papers on the landscape formation. Landscape types are also classified by their function and then landscape index was developed by AHP method. Classification system was categorized as three steps: 2 items for 1st step, 10 items for 2nd step, and 20 items(criteria) for 3rd step. In the survey of weighting values with AHP method, the analysis result for the first step showed that rural village landscape is more important than landscape around the village by approximately 20%. In the second step, residence is rated as the most important, followed by village tree planting, and then farmland around the rural villages, greenery, and water environment. In the third step, the feng shui is rated as the most important, followed by tree planting, village forest, culture, and history. While vehicle maintenance, village alleys and pedestrian facilities are rated lower. In index of the around the village, weighting value for index of the farm land and skyline has the highest value. While species richness, water quality and water resources were rated relatively low. In the future, the rural landscapes diagnosis index will be applied to measure the level of the rural villages landscapes and it is expected to propose political support for the landscapes formation.

In this paper, the solutions of TM (transverse magnetic) scattering problems by perfectly conducting strip grating on two dielectric layers are analyzed by applying the FGMM (Fourier Galerkin moment method) as a numerical method. For the TM scattering problem, the induced surface current density is expected to the very high value at both edges of the strip, then the induced surface current density on the strip is expanded in a series of the multiplication of the functions of appropriate edge boundary condition and the Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind. The numerical results are obtained for the magnitude of induced current density, the normalized reflected power and transmitted power. The numerical results using proposed functions were improved the convergence faster than existing exponential functions, and the numerical results shown the good agreement compared to those of the existing papers.

Lower dimensional cases of Einstein's connection were already investigated by many authors for n = 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. In the following series of two papers, we present a surveyable tensorial representation of 8-dimensional Einstein's connection in terms of the unified field tensor: I. The recurrence relations in 8-g-UFT II. The Einstein's connection in 8-g-UFT In our previous paper [1], we investigated some algebraic structure in Einstein's 8-dimensional unified field theory (i.e., 8-g-UFT), with emphasis on the derivation of the recurrence relations of the third kind which hold in 8-g-UFT. This paper is a direct continuation of [1]. The purpose of the present paper is to prove a necessary and sufficient condition for a unique Einstein's connection to exist in 8-g-UFT and to display a surveyable tensorial representation of 8-dimensional Einstein's connection in terms of the unified field tensor, employing the powerful recurrence relations of the third kind obtained in the first paper [1]. All considerations in this paper are restricted to the second class only of the generalized 8-dimensional Riemannian manifold $X_8$, since the case of the first class are done in [2], [3] and the case of the third class, the simplest case, was already studied by many authors.

This is the first of two companion papers which suggests the algorithm of the combined Finite Element Method and Infinite Element Method for the analysis of the axi-symmetric acoustic transducer in the open boundary. Using the algorithm, the numerical analysis for the transducer radiation impedance, directivity, and coupling effect between transducer elements are also conducted. In the second paper, the wideband array transducer is designed and its acoustic characteristics are examined on the basis of the results of the first paper.
