  • Recently, a dangerous event occurred at the field industry and mechanical system. At developed by SUNGGOK corp. a R-L clutches of a small and high capacity serves safety device from a variety environment of mechanical system, it permits transmission of driving torque form input to output shaft in both directions of rotation, but restrains any feedback torque of the driven load from rotating the output shaft in either direction. This study was carried out to demonstrate through finite element methode and durability estimation for safety of the R-L clutches without sliding during the engagement process. As results, we organized about endurance test methode when applied rated torque.

충격흡수용 복합부재의 에너지 흡수특성에 관한 유한요소해석 (Finite Element Analysis on the Energy Absorption Characteristics of Hybrid Structure)

  • Recently the objective of vehicle design was focused on the crash safety and the energy saving. For the energy saving vehicle structures must be light weight, but for the crash safety some energy absorbing elements must be added. In this paper hybrid structure which consists of a steel and a FRP was studied on the energy absorption characteristics under the impact load by finite element method. Test results of the other researchers were compared with that of computer simulation on this simple hybrid structure. Side rail of vehicle front structure was replaced with hybrid materials for the application of the vehicle structure. 35mph frontal crash simulation was performed with hybrid structure and with conventional steel structure. By the adoption of hybrid structure, the improvement of energy absorption characteristics and reduction of weight was observed under the frontal crash simulation.

  • 전기기기 설계는 전통적이고 고전적인 방식을 이용하여 자기회로를 고려한 기기의 크기를 결정하고 권선방식과 권선을 정하고 해석프로그람을 이용하여 자속밀도와 토크를 계산하는 절차로 진행된다. 그러나 전기기기는 형상이 복잡하여 학생들이 설계하는 절차를 이해하고 해석하는데 많은 어려움을 겪고 있어 교육매체 개발이 매우 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 비교적 형상이 단순하여 자기회로 계산이 복잡하지 않고 전자기적 크기에 의한 추력의 발생과 해석을 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 Linear Force motor를 이용하여 설계절차를 설명하고 각 부위의 자속밀도를 설계 프로그람을 이용하여 도시함으로써 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • This paper presents design and analysis of step-down piezoelectric transformer for application to AC-adapters. These transformers are consist of rectangular type and disk type multilayered piezoelectric ceramic plate. This piezoelectric transformer operated in third thickness resonance vibration mode. Finite element methode(FEM) was used for analysing transformer. Vibration mode and electric field of piezoelectric transformer were simulated at resonance frequency. As results, rectangular type transformer's output voltage was higher than the disk type. But disk type transformer's current was lagger than rectangular type. These results are assumed that disk type transformer's mixed vibration mode influence transformer's output characteristics. From these results, we expect that disk type piezoelectric transformer is more adoptable than rectangular plate type piezoelectric transformer for AC adapters.

  • Magnesium alloys have been widely used for many structural components of automobiles and aircraft because of high specific strength and good castability in spite of hexgonal closed-packed crystal structure of pure magnesium. In this paper, FE analysis was executed about the formability of AZ3l magnesium alloy on press forging process. For this, the variation of sheet temperature, distribution of punch force and the effect of heat transfer and friction between punch and sheet on the forming characteristics during press forging of AZ31 has been analyzed by finite element analysis. In order to obtain temperature dependence of material characteristics, uniaxial tension tests at elevated temperature were done under temperature of $100^{\circ}C\~ 500^{\circ}C$.

  • 본 논문에서는 스트리머 방전에 대한 연구의 일환으로 전자사태의 발생과정 및 절연파괴현상을 2차원 유한요소법을 이용하여 해석하였다. 평행 평판 전극을 모델로 도입하고 전자밀도에 대한 경계조건을 변화시켜 각각 시뮬레이션을 통하여 신뢰성 있는 결과를 도출하였다.

  • In this paper, to produce sheet plasma with high density for ion plating, we designed magnetic circuit of ion plating device consisting of solenoid coil and rectangular permanent magnet. And, we analyzed the effects of the magnetic field distribution using FEM (Finite Element Methode). Additionally, we made a sputtering system including ion plating technique on the basis of the design and verified the possibility of the sheet plasma application for advanced sputter system.

  • It is necessary for calculation of repulsion forces acting on the closed electric contacts flowing over-current, e.g. inrush current and overload currents, to do optimum design of switching devices. In this paper, the farces and flux densities generated by currents at the contact point when circuit breakers are in closed state are obtained by using 3D finite element methode. To be convinced of the results, we measure electrogmanetic repulsion forces on contacts by measuring voltage between opened contacts in MCCB.

유한요소해석법을 이용한 2-2형 압전복합재료 초음파 트랜스듀서의 설계 및 압전특성 (Design and Piezoelectric properties of 2-2 piezocomposite Ultrasonic Transducers by means of the Finite Element Methode)

  • 본 연구에서는 테입-케스팅 방법을 이용하여 제작한 PZT-5A의 소결온도 변화에 따른 압전특성을 조사한 후 유한요소 해석법을 이용하여 2-2형 압전복합재료를 초음파 트랜스듀서를 설계하고 압전특성을 해석하였다. 2-2형 압전복합재료의 음향임피던스와 압전전하상수($d_{33}$)는 PZT 부피분율이 감소함에 따라 밀도의 감소로 감소하여 0.6~0.2의 범위에서 14~3 MRayl로 초음파 트랜스듀서로 사용가능한 특성을 나타내었다. 공진특성과 전기기계결합계수는 PZT부피분율이 0.6일 때 가장 우수한 특성을 나타내었으며, PZT의 부피분율이 0.2~0.6에서는 $k_t$ 값이 0.64~0.68로 거의 일정한 값을 유지하였지만 그 이상에서는 급격하게 감소하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 실험결과로부터 2-2형 압전복합재료는 초음파 트랜스듀서 재료로 응용 가능성을 확인 할 수 있었다.

실험계획법을 이용한 다목적 차량의 측면하중 측정을 위한 3축 로드셀 개발 (Development of 3-axis Loadcell for Measuring the Side Force of MPV Using Design of Experiment)

  • This paper represents the development of 3-axises loadcell for measuring the side-force of suspension module of MPV(Multi Purposed Vehicle). The side force causes the failure of damper, such as leakage. The loadcell was developed using strain gauges, and the Wheastone bridge circuit to compensate for the cross-talk between the each axises and the measurement error by temperature. Structure analysis of loadcell was accomplished with FEM(Finite Element Method) to optimize the location of strain gages. The design optimization for important factors that have an effect on performance of loadcell was accomplished by using DOE(Design of Experiment). Loadcell was produced and successfully tested, showing good sensitivity and low cross-talk. The cross-talk of the developed loadcell is bellow 5%. The load history was measured at proving ground. The maximum side-force, the longitudinal force, and vertical force of MPV are 4.2 kN, 8.0 kN, and 17.0 kN, respectively, at Belgian road.
