Research Projects allow students to experience of scientific research by conducting experiments on specific scientific subjects and writing reports. The process of research begins as students find and propose research questions and its importance has been consistently emphasized. In this study, we developed various strategies to support students to draw research questions and applied to each phase. We analyzed how students' research questions were developed at different phases. The program consists of five phases, such as (1) Exploration, (2) Literature Review and Data Collection, (3) Modification and Extension, (4) Sharing and Evaluation, (5) Final Selection and Research Plan. The program was applied to high school Research Project for 12 hours. A total of 13 students were divided into four groups of 3-4 students and conducted researches. The results of each student's research process and final research plans were then collected and analyzed. The overall quality of research questions produced by the students showed improvement in each phase. Each strategy improved in various aspects of the research questions at each level. Students were able to find their own area of interest in the 'Exploration' phase and then they began to suggest verifiable plans in the 'Literature and Data Collection' phase. They were able to find a variety of variables under the 'Modification and Extension' phase, whereas the precision of research questions improved in the 'Sharing and Evaluation' and the 'Final Selection and Research Plan' phase.
This paper's purpose is to support the strategies of the Small and Medium Railroad industries requiring certifications and products inspections. This study's objects are Small and Medium Railroad enterprises pursuing the making products, development and serving services. Research's questions consist of 14 principal questions and some incidental questions which are made for finding out what Small and Medium Railroad enterprises need. This research's result will be used for KRRI Railroad Testing & Certification Center's study. This study will include market research, deciding strategies and setting a range of supporting level for Small and Medium Railroad enterprises who request a test and certification service. After due consideration based on surveys, this paper makes clear what enterprises need actually, also indicates the strategic ways to support by technology transfer and test assistance for Small and Medium Railroad enterprises.
This study aimed at finding points of improvement in teaching expertise by analyzing the question patterns that appeared during teaching demonstrations which applied science teaching models prepared by a pre-service biology teacher. The question analysis frame for analyzing question types were categorized largely into the question types of Category 1 (questions in cognitive domain, questions with research function, questions in affective domain), Category 2 (repeated questions, questions for narrowing the range, practice questions), and Category 3 (questions on student activity progress, memory questions, and thinking questions). The results of analyzing question patterns from five different science teaching models revealed a high frequency of questions in the fields of cognition and memory. For the circular learning model, questions from the cognitive field appeared the most often, while, student activity progressive questions in particular were used mostly in the 'preliminary concept introduction stage' of the circular learning model and the 'secondary exploratory stage', in which experiments were conducted, and displayed the characteristics of these stages. The discovery learning model combined the courses of observation, measurement, classification and generalization, but, during teaching demonstrations, memory questions turned up the most, while the portion of inquisitive function questions was low. There were many questions from the inquisitive learning model, and, compared to other learning models, many exploratory function questions turned up during the 'experiment planning stage' and 'experiment stage'. Definitional questions and thought questions for the STS learning model turned up more than other learning models. During the change of concept learning model, the five concepts of students were stimulated and the modification of scientific concepts was very much aided by using many memory questions.
The teacher's questions presented in the problem-solving situation stimulate students' mathematical thinking and lead them to find a solution to the given problem situation. In this research, the types and functions of questions presented in chapters of Pattern area of the 2015 revised elementary school mathematics textbooks were compared and analyzed by grade cluster. Through this, it was attempted to obtain implications for teaching and learning in identifying the characteristics of questions and effectively using the questions when teaching Pattern area. As a result of this research, as grade clsuter increased, the number of questions per lesson presented in Pattern area increased. Frequency of the types of questions in textbooks was found to be high in the order of reasoning questions, factual questions, and open questions in common by grade cluster. In chapters of Pattern area, relatively many questions were presented that serve as functions to help guess, invent, and solve problems or to help mathematical reasoning in the process of finding rules. It can be inferred that these types of questions and their functions are related to the learning content by grade cluster and characteristics of grade cluster. Therefore, the results of this research can contribute to providing a reference material for devising questions when teaching Pattern area and further to the development of teaching and learning in Pattern area.

The purpose of this study is to offer basic data to manufacture superior brassiere, by finding out wearing effect and wearing comfort after select high-functional brassiere and usual brassiere of brassiere on the market, and by analyzing the features of superior brassiere in wearing effect and comfort. The results of this research are as follows; 1) As a result of testing the wearing effect when wear a brassiere, the revision effect of high-functional brassiere was higher than that of usual one. But, from questions on general comfortable feeling. the wearing comfort of usual brassiere was higher in comparison with high-functional brassiere. In the questions for comparison and evaluation, the frequency of hard type-functional brassiere was highest. 2) As a result of examining the wearing effect and comfort of brassiere by each type, the wearing effect of high-functional brassiere was excellent. because of the difference in the size, construction, and material of brassiere, and the wearing comfort of hard type high-functional brassiere were superior relatively.

The scientific research method went through construction of hypothesis and collection of data by experiment or observation and abstracting the hypothesis based on the experience which uses the data. The statistical methodology plays an important role in this process. The method which acquires a data becomes an initial process of abstraction and a survey research using structured questionnaires is a basic tool. After the data is acquired, the high-class statistical techniques such as the regression analysis and the linear structural equation model are used to abstract a hypothesis. By the way, from time to time the concepts which have become abstractive do not help us to understand an actual phenomena, rather it is need to extract some knowledge from questions themselves. In this article, we review the well known statistical methods providing the ways of finding core questions which possibly answer a researcher wants to know. We deal with course evaluation data as an example and try to set up the strategy for improving course evaluation.
The purposes of the study were to examine engineering students' concerns and problems while they were choosing a project topic in interdisciplinary collaboration and to suggest ways to support them in an early stage of collaboration phase. To answer the research questions, we conducted a case study with engineering participants in GCTI 2015, an interdisciplinary collaborative and creative group project. Multiple data sources including focus group interviews, online survey and researchers' observation notes were used to triangulate research findings. We found four main concerns of engineering students. These concerns include (1) lack of self-efficacy, (2) limited resources, (3) lack of shared, meaningful, and common goals, and (4) lack of content knowledge. Based on these concerns we proposed four supports in an early stage of the collaborative project. These supports includes (1) implementing an orientation program, (2) providing opportunities for social interactions, (3) providing expert feedback, and (4) providing consultation for team building.
The goal of this research was to provide the basic data of sexual education for late schooler by finding out what they want to know about sex, or to see, if any, its relevancy between female and male students and between each grade. The sample for this research was a total of 453 students in 4th, 5th and 6th grade from 12 different classes at two elementary schools which were located in C city and in B province. The children were requested to write down three points on what they want to know or to learn most about sex, and their answers were put through two analytical stages in order to classify and to examine. The followings are the conclusions from the data. 1. The female cluster took 44.2% out of the whole sample, and there were 151 students per each grade. The specific girl ratios for each grade were 42.4%, 50.3% and 39.7% respectively. 2. It was noted that a total of 1,195 questions were gathered from the students writings, 45% of the questions was raised by the female students. The 4th grade students raised 432questions (43.8% by the girl) while the 5th. and the 6th grade students raised 387 (53.2% by the girl) and 376 questions (42.3% by the girl) respectively. The average number of questions per students was 2.6 while the female students raised 2.8 questions which was more than the average 2.5 questions by male students. It was the 4th grade female student cluster, which raised the most question (3.0) while the 6th grade male students raised the least question (2.4) in average. 3. The questions raised by the children could be divided into seven categories of the knowledge need on sex. They were Reproduction (310 questions, 25.9%), Sexual Culture (230, 19.2%), Concept of sex (125, 18.0%), Changes of Puberty (172, 14.4%), Sexual Health (119, 10.0%), Anatomy and Physiology of Reproductive System (78, 6.5%) and Sexual Tendency and behavior (71, 5.9%). 4. 'Reproduction' was the most frequently raised questions not only by both sex groups but also by the 5th grade students. Both sexes in the 4th grade showed the highest interest in Sexual Culture while it was Changes in Puberty for the both sexes in the 6th grade. The knowledge need on sex of the children indicated what they understand sexuality. They apprehended sex as sex, gender and sexuality in an inclusive way. They showed a major interest in the biological sex and the sexual activities. It seems that the children managed to understand clearly the meaning of gender, furthermore, they even pointed out that the streotyped sex role, patrimonial system and the sexual discrimination were unreasonable. The students possessed not only the least but also the most negative understanding in regard of sexuality. Two suggestions were made from the above conclusions for the practical sex education as well as its research. 1. For the practice: The sex education for the elementary upper grade school student should be relevant with their cognitive characteristics, also it should be more specific on the reproductive organs of both sexes, the actual scenes of the pregnancy and child delivery procedures. The gender concept should be added to the biological sex education, which will lead them to understand the unreasonableness of today's male-superior phenomenon and correct them. It is also necessary to develop educational programs for this age group so as to help them to understand sex in the sense of sexuality as well. 2. For the research: It is not easy to draw out a through conclusion since this study was carried out as one-time data collection. Yet it is undeniably helpful for the sex education if we can understand what the children want to know about sex, how much they know about it by conducting deep-interview researches through a small number of sample.

The primary questions addressed by this research are the followings: Has the interface of a Web-based OPAC been improved more user-friendly; How about its searching abilities; What difficulties have Web-based OPAC searchers experienced in using a Web OPAC; How do they perceive the system after use of it. Finding the answers of those questions the problems of a Web OPAC as a searching tool have been grasped and recommendations have been suggested in order to improve the system. An experiment was conducted and 30 university students performed 8 searching tasks. The searching behavior of Web OPAC searchers has been analyzed thoroughly. The data of their perceptions about the system was collected through a questionnaire after completing the tasks.
