In this study, we focused on the decenterization, innovation, interoperability, and transparency that blockchain technology brings in the financial services sector. Decentralized financial services powered by blockchain technology can leverage virtual assets to expand the scope of financial services and create new business opportunities while encouraging innovation in financial services. Based on the understanding of the concept of De-Fi, we will look at the need for technology and major use cases, and look at future challenges. This will help us understand the vision of developing new technologies for innovation, while identifying the potential as new areas of fintech services.
The purpose of this study includes: the relationships between corporate entrepreneurship(innovation, proactiveness, risk-taking) and firm performance(non-financial performance, financial performance) and the mediating effect of the self-efficacy on the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and firm performance. In order to verify the relationships and mediating effect, data were collected from 368 individuals in employees working in small and medium-sized firms at Gyeongnam region to test theoretical model and its hypotheses. All data collected from the survey were analyzed using with SPSS 18.0. This study reports findings as follows: first, the relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship(except innovation) and the employee's self-efficacy is positively related. Second, there was also a positive correlation between the employee's self-efficacy and firm performance. Third, the relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship and the non-financial performance is positively related. The relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship(except innovation) and the financial performance is positively related. Finally, the employee's self-efficacy played as a partial mediator on the relationship between risk-taking and firm performance. The employee's self-efficacy played as a fully mediator on the relationship between proactiveness and non-financial performance. The employee's self-efficacy played as a partial mediator on the relationship between proactiveness and financial performance. However, there was no empirical evidence for the mediating effect of employee's self-efficacy on the relationship innovation and firm performance. Based on these findings, the implications and the limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.
This study is intended to identify the relationship between antecedents and performance factors that affect the knowledge-sharing of financial professionals. In order to accomplish the objective, antecedents were established as 'disposition to trust', 'subjective norm', and 'knowledge-sharing willingness' in the personal aspect, and 'trust in peers' and 'management support' in the organizational aspect. As performance factors, 'job satisfaction' and 'firm innovation' were established, and a research model was presented. Empirical analysis was done on the research model using collected questionnaires from 185 financial professionals. The research findings are as follows. First, disposition to trust of financial professionals has a positive effect on their knowledge-sharing. Second, trust in peers and management support have a positive effect on their knowledge-sharing. Among the antecedents, trust in peers has the strongest effect on their knowledge-sharing. Third, knowledge-sharing of financial professionals has a positive effect on their job satisfaction and firm innovation.
In this study, we made a critical review on the regulatory policies in financial sector of Korea, analysed their effects on the firm's innovation, and suggested some policy implications. Many innovation researchers and policy makers expected that such a liberal system of regulation would lead Korea's national innovation system to the quantum leap. Our analyses of financial regulations show, however, that changes of regulatory systems (deregulation for interest rate) in the last decade did not always promoted the firm's innovation. The firms now encounter Basel II, and since it could cause bipolarization between R&D performing firms, it is necessary to add complementary policy such as collateralization or netting. Finally, simple empirical anlysis shows that the trend of universal banking may affect R&D investment positively.

Until now, systems in financial companies have been constructed and operated based on great mainframe proved being stability. But it has had many disadvantages since they only implement maintenance adding and changing function. So they need construction of new systems(development of critical application, integration of various service channel, management of customer data). In spite of great construction costs and high risk, it is necessary that they construct e-financial system. Nowadays financial institutions must actively offer services to customers. In other words, the key of service is being moved from providers to customers. In oder to develop and sell new products in a timely manner, integrated management about appropriate and valid customer data is needed. And new system that covers expanded area of work is needed since the original parts of the area is being broken gradually. In this paper, we search construction processes of e-financial system of Nonghyup to respond to new financial environment flexibly and actively, concrete contents about innovation activities of e-financial system and the cases of service utilization. Also, we suggest the development direction of e- financial system for Nonghyup following day.

This study aims to classify the types of financial super apps and analyzes their evolution and growth paths by type. Super apps, which provide various services on a single platform, are gaining attention as a key strategy for digital transformation in the financial sector. By adopting the grounded theory methodology, this research has categorized financial super apps into three types: "lifestyle financial super app", "integrated financial super app", and "universal financial super app". Ansoff Matrix was used as a theoretical framework to understand how each type of super app grew and evolved through various strategies. Our analysis revealed that super apps of each type grew using a different mix of 'market penetration', 'product development', 'mark et development', and 'diversification' strategies, with each mix showcasing a distinct evolutionary path. The findings of this study are expected to enhance understanding of financial super app typology and evolutionary trajectories, contributing to the development of practical strategies, such as channel optimization for financial super apps in the future.
The economy has deteriorated worldwide due to COVID-19, and the domestic economy has also been hit hard. Accordingly, the government implemented unprecedented financial support policies related to COVID-19 to solve the financial difficulties experienced by SMEs. In addition, as the spread of COVID-19 continued, the government implemented guidelines and measures along with recommendations for non-face-to-face contact. Organizations in the public and private sectors have introduced non-face-to-face work methods. Considering this situation, this study investigated the impact of COVID-19-related financial support policies on technological innovation of SMEs. External support is important for corporate innovation, but internal capabilities are also important. Therefore, the effect of entrepreneurship on product innovation was identified. In addition, as the non-face-to-face work method was activated, the effect of smart work was identified by comparing companies that introduced smart work and companies that did not. As a result of the analysis, entrepreneurship showed a positive (+) effect regardless of the introduction of smart work. Financial support policies related to COVID-19 were found to show mixed results according to the type of support.
Studies on technological innovation of SMEs have made remarkable growth both qualitatively and quantitatively, but each study has a limitation to generalize due to lack of data, diversity of methodologies and variables. Therefore, a systematic and comprehensive statistical approach to obtain generalized conclusions through numerous empirical studies can help both the strategic decision making of SMEs and the government's innovation policies. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively analyze the technological innovation process of SMEs through meta-analysis. For this, the antecedents of technological innovation, the relationship between technological innovation and management performance of SMEs were analyzed. The results of using 62,512 samples from 111 domestic empirical studies were as follows; First, to improve the technological innovation of SMEs, internal cooperation, innovation culture, dynamic capabilities, and absorptive capacity were important antecedents. Second, in terms of IP performance, which was introduced as a proxy for technological innovation, human resource management, technological opportunities, commercialization capabilities, financial resources, and R&D expenditure. Third, technological innovation has a medium-sized effect on financial performance, however the effect of IP performance has a small effect size. Lastly, in the relationship between technological innovation and financial performance, the method of measurement and publication type showed statistically significant moderating effects.
The purpose of this thesis is to analyze empirically the relationship between market structure, measured by Herfindahl-Hershmann Index(HHI), and financial factors, and innovation in Korean industry panel datasets for 2000-2006. Results show that debt ratio and scale of the firm has a consistent positive effect on the investment in research and development. As more scale of the firm is getting bigger, the investment in R&D decrease. Also, as more debt ratio of firm rise, the investment for innovation increase. Concentration ratio, the HHI and the classification factor of High-tech industry and Low-tech industry has a consistent positive effect on the innovation. Factors affecting the investment in research and development include market structure and characteristics of industry as well as the internal affairs of the firm.

Since Bollerslev(1986), the GARCH model has been popular in analysing the volatility of the financial time series. In real data analysis, practitioners conventionally put the normal assumption on the innovation random variables of the GARCH model, which is often violated. In this paper, we analyse the domestic financial data based on the GARCH(1,1) model and among existing normality tests, perform the Jarque-Bera test based on the residuals. It is shown that the innovation based on the GARCH(1,1) model dose not follow the normality assumption.
