A main property for fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite material in compression molding is the flow of fibers. This flow is so effective a long direction of acting force that this study examined for the inclined angel of 30$^{\circ}$, 45$^{\circ}$ and 6$^{\circ}$. Below the near softing temperature of plastic, the fiber has been fractured at a point so that the fiber strength is smaller then the local hydrostatic stress in the mold. It has been found that the position of fracture is changing accrding to the incling angle. In case of the above softing temperature, the larger the inclined is, the farther the flow of fiber move. Also the plastic flow has been progresed with the cicular are type.
Injection molding is a very important industrial process for the manufacturing of plastics objects. During an injection molding process of composites, the fiber-matrix separation and fiber orientation are caused by the flow of molten polymer/fiber mixture. As a result, the product tends to be nonhomogeneous and anisotropic. Hence, it is very important to clarify the relations between separation orientation and injection molding conditions. So far, there is no research on the measurement of fiber orientation using image processing. In this study, the effects of fiber content ratio and molding condition on the fiber orientation-angle distributions are studied experimentally. Using the image processing method, the fiber orientation distribution of weld-line parts in injection-molded products is assessed. And the effects of fiber content and injection molding conditions on the fiber orientation functions are also discussed.

Investigated whether fiber orientation distribution of twisted yarn composites and the fiber content are 0$^{\circ}$ and 90$^{\circ}$ direction tensile strength and some correlation. Tensile strength of 0$^{\circ}$ directions of twisted yarn composites increased changelessly being proportional the fiber content and fiber orientation function get into anisotropic in isotropic. But, tensile strength ratio by separation of fiber filament of 90$^{\circ}$ directions tensile strength decreased when tensile load is imposed for width direction of reinforcement fiber. 0$^{\circ}$ and 90$^{\circ}$ direction tensile strength ratio value of a twisted yarn composites not receive almost effect of the fiber content of fiber orientation function J = 0.4 lows. Although do, 20 wt% of the fiber content is high about 0$^{\circ}$ and 90$^{\circ}$ direction tensile strength ratio about 1.6~2 than 10 wt% from J = 0.4. Therefore. could know that effect of the fiber content is dominate.

Composite materials are consist of two or more different materials to produce desirable properties for structural strength. Because of their superiority in strength, corrosion resistance, and weight reduction, they are used extensively as structural members. The objective of this study is to present the effectivness of the laminated composite elements by analyzing in-plane displacement and stress of the anisotropic laminated annular elements. Anisotropic laminated structures are very difficult to analyze and apply, compared with isotropic and orthotropic cases for arbitrary boundaries and fiber angle -ply. Boundary conditions for the examples used in this study consist of two opposite edges clamped and the other two edges free, and finite difference method is used in this study for numerical analysis. From the numerical result, it is found that the program used in this study can be used to obtain the displacement of the straight beams considering it's transverse shear deformation as well as anisotropic laminated elements. Several numerical examples show the advantages of the stiffness increase when the angle-ply composite materials are used. Therefore it gives a guide in deciding how to make use of fiber's angle for the subtended angle, load cases, and boundary conditions.
Experimental study was carried out to investigate the structural performance of composite beams with steel fiber concrete and angle. For this purpose, seven specimens composed of two RC beams with or without steel fiber and five composite beams with steel fiber and angle were constructed and tested. All specimens had no web shear reinforcement. Main variables for the specimens were tensile reinforcement ratio and fiber volume fraction. Based on the test results, structural performance such as strength, stiffness, ductility and energy dissipation capacity was evaluated and compared with the predicted strength. The prediction of flexure and shear strength gives a good relationship with the observed strength. The strength, ductility and energy dissipation capacity are increased, as the fiber volume fraction is increased. Meanwhile, high tensile reinforcement ratio resulted in the reduction of ductility and energy dissipation capacity for the composite beams.

The interfacial evaluation of surface modified Jute fiber/polypropylene (PP) composites before and after hydration was investigated using micromechanical test and dynamic contact angle measurement. The IFSS of alkaline and silane-treated Jute fiber/PP composites increased, whereas after hydration, the IFSS of the untreated, alkaline- and silane-treated Jute fibers/PP composites decreased due to swelled fibrils by water infiltration. The interfacial adhesion of silane treated fiber/PP composites was higher than alkaline-treated or the untreated cases. The surface energies of Jute fiber treated under various conditions were obtained using dynamic contact angle measurement. Especially after hydration, the thermodynamic work of adhesion was calculated by considering water interlayer, which indicated the stability of IFSS between silane treated Jute fiber and PP matrix showing better than others.

The characteristics of the optical fiber polarizer have been analyzed theoretically by using the Fresnel equations and compared with the results computed by the Yeh's electromagnetic theory. we found that they agreed reasonably well each other for the optical fiber polarizer of our interest.

Recently, the Carbon Fiber Sheet(CFS) is widely used to structure. But the behavior of the concrete column which is strengthened with the CFS is not clearly defined yet. This study presents the result of experimental studies on the stress-strain behavior and the strengthening effect of laterally confined concrete by Carbon Fiber Sheets(CFS) subject to compression. In this experimental study, included three-parameters, which are the number of the sheets, the laminated angle of sheets, and concrete strength.
