텍스타일 디자인 캐드 시스템의 색정리 기능에 대한 정량적 분석 연구 (A Study on the Color Functions of the Textile Design System based on CAD using Image Analysis Methods)

  • Printing process has been a major sector in the textile industries for a long period of time. With the advent of digital textile printing, the complex procedures of printing preparations and after-treatment processes have been streamlined. For the design of the motives of images to be printed, the use of image handling software, e.g. Photoshop(Adobe), has been of prime importance. Even though the software is extremely useful and functionally versatile, there are many laborious steps involved for the specific textile printing process. The use of a CAD-based textile printing function may help the textile printing process in streamlining the complex processing stages. The image qualities of the output designs have been compared objectively with the aid of several image similarity evaluation schemes including the SSIM, and FSIM Index methods.

  • Recently, The manufacturing companies are introducing the CAD/CAM systems to solve problems for the lack of experts, the higher cost of manufacturing and the difficulties of process. Knowledge engineering approach makes it possible to change a know-how of experts to computerized information effectivly. The proposal of this paper is the development of an interactive knowledge-based CAM system to disign and manufacture the mold with non-expert engineers used easily. This system is composed of two functional parts. One is the geometric modeler that used the technique of a feature modeling. The other is the expert system module that composed inference engine and databas which contains characteristics of materials and cutting tools setc.

  • Thus paper deals with a study of the automatic machining and measurement system based on Features. The system includes following 5 modules : a feature-based design module, an automatic NC programming module, an automatic measurement programming module, and a simulation module. The system is developed by using IBM-PC in the AutoCAD and the BORLAND c $\^$++/ environment. A vertical machining center equipped with FANUC 0MC is used for experiments. Performance of the system is confirmed by a large amount of experiment.

  • 조립 부품 이미지에 해당하는 3D CAD 모델 매칭 기술은 최근 로봇 조립 기술의 발전으로 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이미지 기반 3 차원 모델 매칭 연구는 진행되어 왔지만 가구 부품 이미지와는 특성이 다른 RGB[5] 이미지나 스케치 이미지를 다루는[1] 접근들이었다. 딥러닝을 사용하는 스케치 이미지 기반 3 차원 물제 검색 연구에서는 대부분 3 차원 이미지를 다각도에서 렌더링한 view 이미지들에서 feature를 추출하고 pooling 하여 하나의 feature를 출력한다. 그러나 기존의 view pooling 방식은 단순한 평균 방식으로, 부품 이미지에 따른 view를 반영하기에는 한계가 있었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 조립 부품 이미지 기반 3 차원 물체 검색을 위해 query 부품 이미지에 따라 다른 view 이미지에 집중할 수 있는 방식의 attentional view pooling을 제안한다. 또한 조립 부품 데이터의 특성 상 class 당 CAD 모델이 하나인 상황이므로 학습 데이터가 터무니없이 부족하여 이를 해결하기 위한 학습 데이터 증강 방법을 제안한다. 실험은 의자 부품 11가지에 대해 진행하였고 이를 통해 제안하는 방식의 성능을 입증하였다.

Feature Based Multi-Resolution Registration of Blurred Images for Image Mosaic

  • Existing methods for the registration of blurred images are efficient for the artificially blurred images or a planar registration, but not suitable for the naturally blurred images existing in the real image mosaic process. In this paper, we attempt to resolve this problem and propose a method for a distortion-free stitching of naturally blurred images for image mosaic. It adopts a multi-resolution and robust feature based inter-layer mosaic together. In each layer, Harris corner detector is chosen to effectively detect features and RANSAC is used to find reliable matches for further calibration as well as an initial homography as the initial motion of next layer. Simplex and subspace trust region methods are used consequently to estimate the stable focal length and rotation matrix through the transformation property of feature matches. In order to stitch multiple images together, an iterative registration strategy is also adopted to estimate the focal length of each image. Experimental results demonstrate the performance of the proposed method.

  • This paper proposed efficient manufacturing system using OMM(on-machine measurement) system and OMM operating S/W based 3D modeler. A Developed program connected tool machine with RS232C. It is composed two operating system that touch probe operating and laser displacement sensor operating system. A program for touch probe possible measure considered inspection feature and CAD data. The laser operating program is used inspection for profile. very small hole using installed feature data. 3D Model Retrieval Based on Orthogonal Projections

  • Recently with the development of 3D modeling and digitizing tools, more and more models have been created, which leads to the necessity of the technique of 3D mode retrieval system. In this paper we investigate a new method for 3D model retrieval based on orthogonal projections. We assume that 3D models are composed of trigonal meshes. Algorithms process first by a normalization step in which the 3D models are transformed into the canonical coordinates. Then each model is orthogonally projected onto six surfaces of the projected cube which contains it. A following step is feature extraction of the projected images which is done by Moment Invariants and Polar Radius Fourier Transform. The feature vector of each 3D model is composed of the features extracted from projected images with different weights. Our System validates that this means can distinguish 3D models effectively. Experiments show that our method performs quit well.

  • This paper presents a methodology in which the knowledge of design intents and change requests is communicated unambiguously cross collaboration partners through features. The domain of application is focused on the plastic part design for enabling effective collaboration between the product design and plastic mold making. The methodology takes the feature-based design approach and allows design features and knowledge to be reused in plastic injection mold design. It shortens the mold design lead-time, reduces mold design efforts, and enables unambiguous and fast design change management between product and mold designers. These contribute to the reduction of product development cycle time.

  • This paper presents an automatic setup planning system for turning operation of symmetric rotational parts. The proposed setup planning system determines workpiece holding method, number of setup, clamping surface, and workpiece holding device by using design data, part description database and part feature recognition information. The workpiece holding method is based on functional name and length/diameter ratio of the given part, and number of setup is determined by part profile type and its technological constraints. Clamping surface and workpiece holding device are determined by using information about the results of workpiece holding method and number of setup, and capacity of workpiece holding devices. A case study is performed to show the performance of the proposed system.

A comparison of three design tree based search algorithms for the detection of engineering parts constructed with CATIA V5 in large databases

  • This paper presents three different search engines for the detection of CAD-parts in large databases. The analysis of the contained information is performed by the export of the data that is stored in the structure trees of the CAD-models. A preparation program generates one XML-file for every model, which in addition to including the data of the structure tree, also owns certain physical properties of each part. The first search engine is specializes in the discovery of standard parts, like screws or washers. The second program uses certain user input as search parameters, and therefore has the ability to perform personalized queries. The third one compares one given reference part with all parts in the database, and locates files that are identical, or similar to, the reference part. All approaches run automatically, and have the analysis of the structure tree in common. Files constructed with CATIA V5, and search engines written with Python have been used for the implementation. The paper also includes a short comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of each program, as well as a performance test.
