패션모델과 여대생들의 신체 만족도 비교 연구 (The Body Cathexis Difference Between Fashion Model and College Women)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate if there were any differences between fashion models and female college students' body cathexis and to examine the perception of their body form and satisfaction of clothing fit according to height, weight and body type. For this study 378 people, including 113 fashion models and 265 female college students were analyzed. Means, t-test and ${\chi}^2$-test were used in data analyses. Significant differences were found between fashion models and female college students' body cathexis. For instance fashion models were more positive about their bodies especially concerning height. Fashion Models and female college students differed significantly in perception of their body form according to weight and body type. Perhaps they have another criteria. Fashion Models and female college students differed significantly in satisfaction of clothing fit according to weight and body type. The taller and Thinner, The higher satisfaction of Clothing fit.

  • Remembering a meaning of fashion started in the early 20C, Paul Poiret is one of the most important designer. If so, what does his achievements and assessment his costume design have to be? That is the spirit of his design. Through the creation of the new style which is totally different from a period before, introduction of the vivid color, the new line and the enthusiasm of the fashion business, he showed the roll and the possibility of the modern designer. In Poiret's women's costume, harmonious beauty of women could be discovered in beautiful color which was not used in the 19th and elegance line. Furthermore, in the creation of the color and style, he got a strong influence by the art of early 20C's Europe. This was an opportunity that todays fashion has treated as a part of the or her art, and many modern designers are contacting with the art. The excellent ability in the fashion business has the composite as total fashion. Fashion business including perfumes, cosmetics furnitures, accessories is a model for most designers who follows him.

The Influence of LOHAS Consumption Tendency and Perceived Consumer Effectiveness on Trust and Purchase Intention Regarding Upcycling Fashion Goods

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of LOHAS consumption tendency and of the perceived consumer effectiveness of young consumers on trust and purchase intentions regarding upcycling fashion goods. Data were collected from a questionnaire survey of 201 university students living in Daegu City, South Korea. The data were analyzed to investigate a structural model and test the research hypotheses, using the AMOS 20.0 statistical package. The results can be summarized as follows. First, LOHAS consumption tendency had a positive impact on trust in upcycling fashion goods. Second, LOHAS consumption tendency did not impact purchase intention with regard to upcycling fashion goods. Third, perceived consumer effectiveness had a positive effect on trust in upcycling fashion goods. Fourth, perceived consumer effectiveness had a positive impact on purchase intention with regard to upcycling fashion goods. Fifth, trust had a positive influence on purchase intention regarding upcycling fashion goods. The results of this study provide guidance for marketers and retailers who are interested in upcycling fashion goods.

패션관여와 인터넷 친숙도에 따라 인터넷 쇼핑몰과의 상호작용성이 재구매 의도에 미치는 인과모형 분석 (The Effects of Interactivity on Consumer's Repurchase Intention in Internet Shopping Mall According to Fashion Involvement and Internet Familiarity)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of interactivity on consumer's affective commitment, trust, and repurchase intention according to fashion involvement and internet familiarity. The survey was limited to the respondents over 20 years old males and females living in Seoul and other metropolitan areas who had purchased fashion products in internet shopping mall. The questionnaire was collected from February 1, 2012 to February 12, 2012 and 562 useful data were analyzed using Amos 19. The results of this study were as follows: After respondents were divided into four groups including the high fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, the high fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group, the low fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, the low fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group, the path model was verified according to each group. All the paths except 'affective commitment ${\rightarrow}$ repurchase intention' were accepted for the high fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group. Comparing the low fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group with the low fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, contents-people interactivity had more influence on the relationship with internet shopping mall in high internet familiarity group while people-people interactivity had more influence on the relationship with internet shopping mall in low internet familiarity group. Also 'trust' showed stronger effects on repurchase intention than 'affective commitment'.

The Influence of Environmental Concern and Green Fashion Advertisements on Consumer Behavior: Chinese vs. Korean

  • Recently, issues on the environment, which have become key bottlenecks relative to sustainable economic development, have generated common concern. However, relatively scant research has been devoted to consideration of relations between consumers' environmental concern, green fashion advertisement value, and green consumption. In this study, using structural equation modeling (SEM), effects of environmental concern, perceived green fashion advertisement value, and attitude towards green fashion advertisements, on ecological purchases and their interrelationships are investigated. A model is constructed to link aforementioned constructs. Data, was collected through a questionnaire-based online survey (www.sojump.com) of 260 Korean consumers and 260 Chinese consumers. Findings suggest that environmental concern can improve their perception of green advertisement value. One of the findings showed strong positive relationship among green advertisement value, positive attitude, and purchase intention towards green fashion advertisement, while environmental concern negatively influenced their attitude towards green fashion advertisements. It suggests that if companies adopt green advertising strategies, environmentally-conscious consumers are willing to pay more, to purchase green fashion goods in to satisfy their needs. We should put more effort in educating consumers about environmental issues, to raise the level of environmental awareness and satisfy their concerns relative to green fashion goods. Conversely, there is significant positive relationship with the moderating effect of consumers' nationality in all paths, so results above would make significant contributions to green literature, and would also contribute to advertisement strategy implications as well. Especially fashion marketers, an use accurate and fair environmental claims in their advertisements to increase sale and profits.

한국 연예인 광고모델 속성이 중국 소비자 한국 패션브랜드 구매도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Attributes of Korean Celebrity Advertising Models on Chinese Consumer's Intention to Purchase Korean Fashion Brands)

  • As the Korean cultural contents, such as drama, films, music, gained popularity in China, Korean fashion brands used Korean celebrities as their models to as a sales promotion strategy for Chinese consumers. With the point of view that the advertising model as a human capital as well, the purpose of this study is to investigate the factors of attributes of Korean celebrity advertising model, and to analyze effects on fashion brand recognition, preference, trust and purchase intention. With convenience sampling, the research surveyed Shanghai consumers in their 20's to early 30's who had purchased Korean fashion items. The 291 responses were analyzed by frequency analysis, reliability test, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, The results are as follows. Frist, Korean celebrity advertising model attribute factors were divided into similarity, familiarity, popularity, attractiveness and trust. Second, the brand recognition was affected by similarity, familiarity and popularity factors, and the brand preference was affected by similarity, familiarity, popularity and attractiveness factors. Third, the trust of Korean fashion brands was affected by similarity, familiarity, attractiveness, trust, brand recognition and brand preference. Lastly, the intention to purchase Korean Fashion brand was affected by similarity, familiarity, attractiveness, brand recognition, brand preference and brand trust.

  • 최근 패션업계에서는 급속도로 발전하는 딥러닝 방법론을 활용하려는 시도가 늘고 있다. 이에 따라 다양한 패션 관련 문제들을 다루는 연구들이 제안되었고, 우수한 성능을 달성하였다. 하지만 패션 스타일 분류 문제의 경우, 기존 연구들은 한 옷차림이 여러 스타일을 동시에 포함할 수 있다는 패션 스타일의 특성을 반영하지 못하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 동시에 존재하는 레이블 간의 종속성을 모델링하고, 이를 반영하여 패션 스타일의 다중 분류 문제를 해결하고자 한다. 패션 스타일 사이의 종속성을 포착하고 탐색하기 위해 GCN(graph convolution network) 기반의 다중 레이블 인식 모델을 적용하였다. 또한 전이학습을 통해 모델의 학습 속도 및 성능을 향상시켰다. 제안하는 모델은 웹 크롤링을 통해 수집한 SNS 이미지 데이터를 이용하여 검증하였으며, 비교 모델 대비 우수한 성능을 기록하였다.

액티브 시니어의 신체적 여가활동에서 동기부여 언어의 중요성 -시니어 패션모델 교육을 중심으로- (Importance of Motivational Language in Physical Leisure Activities of Active Seniors -Senior Fashion Model Classes-)

  • This study examined how the motivational language of instructors in senior fashion model classes affects learners' achievement goal orientation and interpersonal competence, as well as their intention to continue participating. The participants in this study were active seniors aged 50 and above, and the analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM and bootstrapping for mediation effects. It was found that autonomous motivation had a significant impact on task achievement goals and interpersonal competence, but not on ego achievement goals. On the other hand, controlled motivation only had a significant impact on ego achievement goals. Additionally, interpersonal competence had a significant impact on the intention to continue participating, and task achievement goals were found to mediate the relationship between autonomous motivation and interpersonal competence. This study aimed to promote understanding of the importance of instructors' motivational language in senior fashion model education and learners' psychology and to provide information that can help develop a fashion-related leisure activity curriculum. It also suggests efficient instructional directions for instructors in senior education, and it is expected to be utilized in the development of fashion-related leisure activity program curricula in the future.

인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 패션제품의 충동구매와 만족에 관한 한국과 중국 간 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis Between Korean and Chinese Students in regards to Fashion Product Impulse Buying and Internet Shopping Satisfaction)

  • Consumers often act impulsively when making internet purchases. Triggered by easy access to products, lack of social pressure, and absence of delivery impediments, impulse buying frequently occurs in the context of internet shopping. This study tests the structural equation model of the impulse buying process for fashion products when internet shopping and examines impulse buying process differences between Korean and Chinese consumers. A total of 985 usable questionnaires were obtained from college students. Data were analyzed by structural equation model analysis using a correlation matrix with a maximum likelihood by AMOS 21.0. Results showed that increased internet browsing by consumers resulted in more impulse buying as mediated by the urge to buy; in addition, more impulse buying by consumers resulted in a higher consumer satisfaction experience. Pure impulse buying created more important antecedents of satisfaction than the promotion-oriented impulse buying. Impulse buying showed a high similarity between Korean and Chinese consumers; however, increased influence from promotion activities resulted in more fashion product impulse buying for Chinese consumers versus Korean consumers. We confirm that one of the outcomes of the impulse buying process is impulse buying product satisfaction. Korean and Chinese consumers also present similarities and differences in fashion product impulse buying. A managerial implication is discussed for retailers of fashion products to develop strategies to increase consumer browsing and subsequently trigger impulse buying accompanied with consumer satisfaction.

멘토링 기능 측정 척도 개발을 위한 기초연구 - 패션관련 전공 학생을 중심으로 - (A Preliminary Study for Developing a Measure of Mentoring Functions Scale - Focused on the Clothing & Textiles Majoring College Students -)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the connectional structure of mentoring perceived by the 2-year college students who are majoring in fashion, and to develop the scale with which the mentoring effect can be measured on the basis of the results. To achieve the purpose, research was conducted through a survey questionnaire. The research was carried out obtaining data from the 2-year college students. Responses from this questionnaire were gathered from 265 students. The questionnaire was made with 31 mentoring scales and removed inadequate 18 questions for statistics analysis. The remaining questionnaires consisting of 13 questions were categorized into three factors. The first factor (5questions) relates to the sensitivity developmental function. The second factor (5questions) pertains to the psychosocial function and the third factor (3questions) was for the fashion career developmental function. The results derived from the analysis of the questionnaire survey are as follows: First, the role model function is not enticing enough for the student to continue role model or professor for future student. The students are more interested into discovering their own capability in fashion by entering a fashion company. Second, the result of this study was confirmed through descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Third, the results of this study can be a guide-line for professors to help student to which is fashion in spite of outside comment and own future career task.
