<동물농장>에 나타난 캐릭터의 상징성 연구 (Studies of Character's Symbolism in )

  • 애니메이션은 작가의 의식을 표현하는 도구로서 공간과 공간을 통해 시간으로 전환하는 매체이다. 애니메이션의 구성요소에서 이미지는 가장 본질적 요소이며, 이미지 중 캐릭터는 가장 핵심적 기능을 가진 이미지요소이다. 왜냐하면 캐릭터는 다양한 동작과 표정을 통해 이야기를 전달하는 형상체이기 때문이다. 이러한 맥락에서 볼 때 <동물농장>은 조지오웰의 원작을 바탕으로 계급화 된 불평등의 인간사회와 여기에서 벌어지는 인간의 이기심과 부조리를 풍자적인 캐릭터를 중심으로 그려낸 대표적인 풍자애니메이션이다. 따라서 이번연구에서는 이 작품에서 설정된 인물과 동물들 그리고 공간이 지니고 있는 의미와 상징을 통해 무엇을 풍자했는지를 연구해 보고자하였다. 연구결과 작품에서 등장하는 캐릭터들은 단순한 인물이나 장소가 아니라 각각의 의미를 내포하고 있는 은유적 상징체임을 보여준다. 다시 말해 농장은 인간세상을 상징하는 공간으로써 인간인 존은 러시아 절대왕정의 민중을 억압하는 독재자로, 돼지인 올드 메이저는 혁명의 당위성을 설파하는 원로 선각자로, 메이저를 따르던 돼지 스노볼은 혁명을 성공시키고 만민이 평등한 참 사회주의를 건설하려는 순수한 지도자로, 또 다른 돼지인 나폴레옹은 개인적인 야욕을 위해 스노볼을 제거하고 동족인 동물들을 억압하고 착취하는 인간보다 더한 탐욕적인 독재자로 묘사하였다. 즉 인간과 다양한 동물들을 지배와 피지배의 계급관계로 설정하여 갈등을 양산하고 혁명을 통해 이상사회를 지향하지만 이는 또 다시 혁명을 예고하는 인간역사의 반복적 모순을 상징적이면서도 강렬하게 전달하고 있었다.

한우 농장별 번식기록 분석을 통한 번식률 제고 사례 연구 (Case Report on Improvement of Reproduction Rate in Hanwoo Farms)

  • 본 연구는 한우 번식 기록이 잘 유지되고 있는 4개 농장의 2007년 1월부터 2010년 10월까지의 번식 자료 수집하여 분석하였다. 수태 당 평균 수정 횟수와 평균 공태일은 A농장 $1.7{\pm}0.1$회와 $77.4{\pm}4.8$일, B농장 $1.5{\pm}0.1$회와 $150.8{\pm}11.2$일, C농장 $1.5{\pm}0.1$회와 $90.4{\pm}4.5$일, D농장 $1.4{\pm}0.1$회와 $71.4{\pm}2.5$일이었다. 호르몬으로 발정을 유도하는 D농장을 제외한 3개 농장 531두의 번식 기록으로 분만 후 첫 수정 시기에 따른 평균 수정 횟수와 평균 공태일을 분석한 결과, 총 5개의 수정 시기에 따른 수정 횟수는 30일 이전 첫 수정이 $2.1{\pm}0.2$회로 31일 이후 첫 수정보다 유의적으로 높았다. 번식 장애우 58두에 2가지 배란 동기화법을 사용하여 수태율을 확인해 본 결과, Ovsynsh 법은 55.2%의 수태율을, CIDR-based TAI 법은 65.5%의 수태율을 나타냈다. 농장의 번식률을 높이기 위해서는 정확한 번식 기록 작성, 발정 관찰, 수정 후 임신 감정, 번식 기관 검진, 번식률을 고려한 첫 수정 시기 수정 등이 필요하다.

보리의 기계수확체계(機械收穫體系) 시험(試驗) (A Study on Mechanized System of Barley Harvesting)

  • Farm population was rapidly decreasing due to shift of the people from farm sector to the non-farm sector caused by the economic growth of the country. Especially, a great shortage of farm labor in busy farming period in June and October is becoming a serious problem in maintaining or promoting land productivity. The peak of labor requirement in summer is caused by rice transplanting and barley harvesting. In order to reduce the restrictions imposed on farm management by the concurrence of labor requirement and the lack of labor, the experimental study for mechanization of barley harvesting has been carried out in the fields. 1. The machines for barley harvesting were knap-sack type reapers, windrow reaper (power tiller attachment), binder and combine. The order of higher efficiency of machine for barley harvesting was combine, binder, windrow reaper (WR), knapsack type reaper 1(KSTR1), and knap sack type reaper 2(KSTR2; mist and duster attachment). 2. The ratio of grain loss for the manual, binder, and combine plot was about four percent of total field yield. 3. The total yield of barley in 35 days and 40 days harvesting after heading were 514 kg and 507kg per 10 ares respectively. The yield of 35 days-plot was higher than other experimental plots. 4. The lowest yield was recorded in 30 days-plot due to the large quantity of immatured grains and having lighter 1000-grain weight. The ratio of immatured grains was 2.66 percent and 1000-grain weight was 29.4 grams. 5. The total harvesting cost of the windrow reaper was 10,178 won per 10 ares. It was the lowest value compared to other machines. The next were combine, binder, KSTR1, KSTR2, and manual in sequence. As a result, the optimum time of barley harvesting for mechanization was 35-40 days after heading. Combine, binder, and windrow reaper were recommended as the suitable machines for barley harvesting in the work efficiency. However, in total harvesting cost, the windrow reaper was the most promising machine for barley harvesting.

  • Renewable energy systems aim to achieve carbon neutrality and replace fossil fuels. Photovoltaic technologies are the most widely used renewable energy. However, they require a large operating area, thereby decreasing available farmland. Accordingly, agrivoltaic systems (AVSs)-innovative smart farm technologies that utilize solar energy for crop growth and electricity production-are attracting attention. Although several empirical studies on these systems have been conducted, comprehensive research on their design is lacking, and no standard model suitable for South Korea has been developed. Therefore, this study created an integral design of AVS reflecting domestic crop cultivation conditions and conducted a structural analysis for safety assessment. The shading ratio, planting distance, and agricultural machinery work of the system were determined. In addition, national construction standards were applied to evaluate their structural safety using a finite element analysis. Through this, the safety of this system was ensured, and structural considerations were put forward. It is expected that the AVS model will allow for a stable utilization of renewable energy and smart farm technologies in rural areas.

조사료 생산을 위한 농업기계의 적정모형 설정 (Establishment of Optimum Pattern of Farm Machinery for Forage Production)

  • This study was canied out to ddermine optimum areas for various sizes of land coverage of the farm machinery utilization in 1993-1994. A kind of machinery size and work systems were classed as the power tiller of 10HP+man power, the tractor of 35~46HP (tractor of 64~86HP and attachment were leased to harvest work), 64-86HP+ attachment and 90- 105HP+ attachment, respectively. \ulcornerhe results are summarized as follows: 1. The optimum areas of tractors of 90~105HP, 64~86HP and the power tiller of lOHP were estimated as 21.9 (corn-rye cropping system)- 26.9ha (sorghum $\times$ sudangrass - rye cropping system), 14.7 - 22.8ha and 1.2 - 1.61ha, respectively. The break-even-point areas of the tractors of 90-105HP. 64-86HP and the power tiller of lOHP were 16.6 (corn-rye cropping system)- 19.9ha (sorghum $\times$ sudangrass - rye cropping system), 12.5 - 16.lha and 0.12-0.13ha, respectively. 2. The optimum areas (land sizes, annual field capacity) for 50 cows by feeding rate(%) of roughage to concentrate were 6.8ha, 13.6ha in the 4060, 8.5ha, 17.0ha in the 5050 and 10.2ha, 20.4ha in the 60:40, and in case of 30 cows, it were 4.lha, 8.2ha in the 40:60, respectively. In the former case for the form of work system was the trador of 90-105HP+attachment and 64~86HP+ attachment, and the latter was the tractor of 35~46HP (tractor of 64~86HP and attachment were leased to harvest work) and 64-86HP+ attachment. 3. Productiori cost for corn-rye cropping system reducted to 51.8% in 102.9 wonkg dry matter the tractor of 90~ 105HP+ attachment with 213.4 wonkg dry matter the power tiller of 10HP+ man power.

Development and Assessment of Shovel Applying Foothold

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to develop a farming shovel to reduce workload, which helps farmers lower the risk of musculoskeletal disease. Background: Most of work using farming tools including shovels requires repetitive works and awkward postures on body parts, and it could possibly cause work-related musculoskeletal disorders. It is necessary to develop and distribute farm equipment and tools in order to reduce physical workload. Method: To improve the most uncomfortable task perceived by ten farmers during the work with a shovel, the improved shovel was designed and made as a prototype for experiment for the comparison of the existing and improved shovels. Twenty males were recruited for this experiment, and muscle activity (%MVC) of six body parts and subjective discomfort ratings by body parts while working with a shovel were measured. A paired t-test was performed to compare physical workload between the existing shovel and the developed one. Results: A shovel applying foothold tied between shaft and blade was designed, which can help workers reduce repetitive bending of back and pressures for upper limbs while digging soil. According to compared evaluation of the developed shovel and the existing shovel, the developed shovel's %MVCs in all experimental muscles were significantly lower than those of the existing shovel. The developed shovel showed the biggest drop in perceived subjective discomfort rating of back, followed by arm and neck, compared to the existing shovel. Conclusion: It was confirmed that attaching a foothold to a shovel was an effective way of reducing workload in back and upper limbs during digging. Application: In the near future, if we put the prototype of developed shovel to practical use after making up for defects, it will help farm work environment be healthier and safer.

주 재배 작목별 한국 여성 농업인 체형 특성 (Characteristics of the Body Shape of Korean Woman Farmers by Crops)

  • This study was to research the characteristics of the body shape of Korean woman farmers by the major crops. Four hundred ninety-five Korean woman farmers from 9 different area such as Kumi, Damyang, Iksan, Injae, Chungju, Choongju, Haman, Whasung, and Whasoon volunteered for this study. Their major crops were the rice, the pepper, the water melon, the strawberry, the wild rocambole, the sweet persimmon, the grapes, the mushroom, and the chrysanthemums. Twelve body angles were measured from archived the somatotype photographs of the front, the side, and the back. Questionnaires of SF-36 and the farmer's symptom, and the farm-work related movements were surveyed. The results were as follows; 1. Farmers had lower health levels in physical role limit, pain, vitality, and physical function than other occupational workers. 2. Most farmers acted the high-risk ergonomics motions when they worked in the farm. 3. There were significantly different on the both shoulder angles, the hip tangential line slope, the hip breadth angel, in frontal ankle-knee angle, the bending back angle, the dropping breast slope, the abdominis media angle, under the abdominis media angle, the glutea angle, under the glutea angle, and the sideward knee angle(p<.05). 4. Farmers cultivating the low plants such as the water melon, the strawberry, and the wild rocambole showed more banded vertebralis and side knee angles. Farmers cultivating the red pepper showed the dropping the left shoulder and O shape legs. Farmers cultivating the fruit trees such as the sweet persimmon and the grapes showed the less banded side knee angles than other farmer groups. 5. On comparing the same age, farmers showed the older's body shape in earlier and much more than the old living in the city.

밭 노지 환경 주행을 위한 모듈형 농업 로봇 플랫폼에 대한 연구 (A Study on Modular Agricultural Robotic Platform for Upland)

  • This paper designed modular agricultural robotic platform capable of a variety of agricultural tasks to address the problems caused by a decline in agricultural populations and an increase in average age. We propose a modular robotic platform that can perform many tasks required in field farming by replacing only work modules with common robotic platforms. This platform is capable of steering while driving on four wheels in an upland environment where farm work is performed, and an attitude control module is attached to each drive module to control the attitude of the platform. In addition, the width of the platform is designed to be variable in order to operate in various ridges according to the crop cultivation method. Finally, we evaluated five items: variable width, gradient, attitude control angle, step and road speed in order to carry out the farming industry while maintaining a stable posture.

한국형 농작업 안전보건 농가 인증제도 수립을 위한 프레임워크 및 평가항목 설계 (A Framework and Evaluation Index Design for Establishing Agricultural Work Safety and Health Farm Certification Systems in Korea)

  • This study establishes a safe and healthy farm certification system for Korean farmers and presents the certification system and assessment items. Existing certification systems for safety and health were compared through a review of local and international studies as well as an examination of advanced examples. Then the certification system and assessment items were objectively verified through an expert evaluation process. As a result, four domains of certification participation, implementation, certification evaluation, and post management were identified as components of the certification system. For assessment measures, 6 categories, 21 factors, and 96 items were derived. The results are expected to be used as basic data in establishing a foundation for the implementation and operation of a certification system appropriate for distinct characteristics of the Korean agricultural sector.

우리나라 수도지반재배의 효과와 전망 (Effects and Future Prospect of the Cooperative Culture of Low-land Rice in Korea)

  • 우리나라 수도작개량의 방향은 단위당 수량을 향상시키되 어디까지나 지역전체에 고도기술의 적용으로 고단수를 평준화시키면서 능률면에서도 공동작업관리로 이끌어 노동생산성을 높혀야 한다는데 있으므로 이를 구현하는 생산체제인 수도집단재배의 수행을 위한 이론을 연구하고 그 발전을 위한 기대효과와 전망을 구명하여야 하는바 현재까지의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 수도작지대에서 고단수의 평준화를 위한 생산기술을 보급하고 고능율의 경영을 위해서는 집단재배가 가장 효과적인 방법의 하나이다. 2. 효과적인 집단재배를 실천하기 위하여는 단지의 수리, 토양, 품종 기타 영농상황을 보다 체계화하여야 한다. 3. 이와같은 기간재배기술은 경작농가의 협의에 의하여 재배력을 작성하고 단지내에서의 모든 재배법은 재배력에 의하여 통일되며 기간기술의 작업은 공동으로 하고 기타 세부작업은 개발로 한다. 4. 개별경영에서는 충실하게 도입되기 어려웠던 기술이 집단재배에서는 용이하게 도입될 수 있었으며 1968년도의 전국 집단재배 성적을 보면 일반재배에 비하여 평균 23.3%의 증수를 보이고 있다. 5. 현재 우리나라 집단재배의 형태는 초보적인 협정 영농형을 중심으로 추진되고 있는데 일부작업에는 공동작업형 및 청부작업형도 드물게 결합되고 있는 것이 보이고 있으나 앞으로 보다 안정다수확을 위한 성력화 또는 대규모의 기계화를 위해서는 공동작업형을 촉진시키면서 입지조건에 따라 기술신탁형이나 청부작업형을 결합시켜 나가는 방향으로 발전되어야 할것이다.
