죽음, 죽어감, 신생아 중환자실에서 어떻게 받아들여야하나 (What can we do for dying neonate in NICU?)

  • Death is not only a medical problem; it is also an ethical problem. When doctors face a dying neonate, their knowledge of bioethics and the opinions of ethical specialists and religious leaders are helpful for them and the family of the dying baby. In recent years, due to the increase of surviving babies who have suffered from severe illness, those born too small or too early, and those with severe anomalies in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), we have met with complicated bioethical problems frequently. To lessen the burdens of doctors and the parents of the dying baby, I reviewed medical, ethical and religious articles about bioethics in adult death. My suggestions are listed as follows: 1) regular bioethical education and activation of bioethical committees in NICU, 2) a well-controlled nationwide database, 3) a hospice unit space and programs for dying baby in NICU, and 4) social support for pregnant women and financial support for the NICU.

  • A traditional Korean housing is a typical type which is contained life style, spatial organization and scape element of people who lived in Korea. In the hanok, people want to be live not only in human environment and traditional culture, but also modem urban housing as a high density. This article deals as follows: First, Hanok as urban housing would be composed in a housing lot, linear type layout, devide building, and cluster type. Second, Housing unit and configuration of Multi family housing can be used single story, second story, second story + single story, multi story and Hanok roofing. Thirds, structure of the building are traditional wooden, combined one of steel and wood or concrete and wood, and the building system in exterior and interior can be seperated into another system. Forth, Image of multi story Hanok A last, consistency of Hanok is not a repeat of an origin but application and creative aptitude of the origin, and multi family housing application of Hanok can be a trial creative.

그림책을 활용한 스토리텔링 가족 수업이 청소년의 회복탄력성과 부모자녀관계에 미치는 효과: 중학교 기술·가정 '관계'와 '안전'의 핵심개념을 중심으로 (The Effects of Storytelling Family Classes Using Picture Books on the Resilience and Parent-Child Relationship of Adolescents: Focusing on the Core Concepts of 'Relationship' and 'Safety' in Middle School Technology·Home Economics)

  • 이 연구는 중학교 기술·가정 교과의 가족 단원에서 그림책을 활용한 스토리텔링 수업이 청소년의 회복탄력성과 부모자녀관계에 미치는 효과를 살펴보는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 가족 형태, 가족관계, 가족갈등, 성폭력, 가정폭력, 가족 상실에 관한 5가지 주제의 그림책을 선정하고 스토리텔링 요소와 기법을 적용한 '그림책으로 만나는 가족' 교수·학습 과정안을 개발하였다. 남녀 중학생 194명을 대상으로 기술·가정 수업시간에 적용하고, 사전·사후 검사를 통하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과 청소년이 지각하는 회복탄력성 정도는 수업 후 유의미하게 증가하였으나, 사회성 영역의 하위요인 중 자아확장력에서는 수업의 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 청소년의 부모자녀관계에서는 모든 영역에서 수업의 효과가 나타났고, 아버지보다 어머니와의 관계에서 느끼는 애정적 결속 정도가 더 증가하였다. 회복탄력성의 향상과 부모자녀관계 향상을 목표로 하는 기술·가정 교과의 가족 단원에서 그림책을 통한 스토리텔링 수업은 자신의 역경을 딛고 일어서는 잠재적인 힘을 청소년 스스로 길러주게 하여 청소년 가정의 가족과의 관계까지 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것임을 알 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 'Bloom의 신교육목표 분류체계'에 준거하여 2007 개정 10학년 교과서 6권과 성취기준을 지식차원과 인지과정 차원의 이차원적 분석을 하였다. 분석을 위해 'Bloom의 신교육목표 분류체계'에 따른 분석에 참여한 경험이 있는 전문가 2명으로 코더(coder)를 선정하여 개별적으로 1차 분석을 한 후 2차에 걸친 협의회를 통해서 최종 판정에 합의하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 교과서에 진술되어 있는 학습목표는 지식차원의 주요유형은 "미래의 가족생활" 단원에서는 사실적 지식과 절차적 지식 범주에, "가정생활문화" 단원에서는 사실적 지식과 개념적 지식 범주에 편중되어 있었으며, 성취기준에 진술되어 있는 "미래의 가족생활" 단원과 "가정생활문화" 단원 모두 사실적 지식에 해당하는 학습목표로만 구성되어 있었다. 교과서와 성취기준에서 지식차원의 하위유형은 구체적 사실과 요소에 관한 지식(AB)이 가장 많았다. 인지과정차원의 주유목은 교과서에서는 '이해하다'와 '분석하다'의 범주에 집중되어 있었고, 성취기준에서는 "미래의 가족생활" 단원에서는 '분석하다' 범주로만, "가정생활문화" 단원에서는 '이해하다' 범주로만 진술되어 있었다. 연구결과로부터 교과서와 성취기준은 메타인지에 대한 지식과 고차적 인지과정의 활동이 미흡함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 교사는 수업을 설계할 때 성취기준과 교과서에 진술된 학습목표에만 의존할 것이 아니라 고등사고 능력 신장을 위한 학습목표 재진술이 필요하고, 성취기준은 중단원보다 더 세부적인 소단원 및 내용요소별로 구체적이고 세분화하여 제시하여야 하며, 이후 2009 개정 교육과정에 따라 개발되는 교과서에서는 다양한 지식차원과 인지과정 차원을 고려한 학습목표의 진술이 요구된다.

  • The aims of this study was to identify the needs of a generation-integrated housing complex by respondents with different generations and propose the plans for this type of low-rise housing complex. Respondents were needed a housing unit with 31-40 pyung, three rooms, and two baths. Also, they wanted to live a housing complex with size of 50-100 housing units, providing community services such as green zone and rivulet, community programs and spaces, and residents gathering public spaces. The proposed plans showed three types of standard housing unit plans and three modified housing unit plans to accommodate the changing life cycle of the family.

배려와 나눔 실천을 위한 가정과 교수·학습 과정안 개발과 평가 - 고등학교 기술·가정 '가족이 여는 행복한 가정생활 문화' 단원을 중심으로 - (Development and Evaluation of Home Economics Teaching·Learning process plan for the practice of Caring and Sharing - Focusing on 'Happy Family Life and Culture Led by Family' Unit of High School Technology and Home Economics -)

  • 본 연구는 급변하는 교육환경에서 더욱 요구되는 인성을 갖춘 학습자 역량을 기르기 위해 고등학교 기술 가정 교과서 '가족이 여는 행복한 가정생활 문화' 단원을 중심으로 배려와 나눔 실천 교수 학습 과정안을 개발하여 평가하였다. 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 요인분석, 빈도분석, 상관분석, t-test를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 크게 배려와 나눔 실천 교수 학습 과정안 테마 I과 II 개발, 학생 활동 및 결과물 평가, 사전 사후 설문지 평가 3부분으로, 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 총 13차시분의 배려와 나눔 실천 교수 학습 과정안은 테마I(나눔으로 통하는 배려)과 테마 II(실천으로 통하는 배려)로 나누어, 테마 I은 '건강한 가족문화'와 '지속가능한 소비생활 문화' 단원을 중심으로 총 5차시분을, 테마 II는 '의식주 생활 속 배려와 나눔' 단원을 중심으로 총 8차시분을 개발하였다. 둘째, 테마 I에서 추출된 배려와 나눔 실천 요소(소통, 감사, 용기, 사랑, 공감, 환경)를 우리나라 가정생활에서 실천할 수 있도록 다양한 가족의 상황(맞벌이, 한부모, 다문화, 장애인, 3세대, 수험생 가족)에 맞게 테마 II에 적용한 결과, 스마트 기기를 활용한 모둠별 활동이 활발하게 이루어졌으며 가족과 이웃 그리고 환경을 고려한 배려와 나눔 실천 활동이 매우 다양한 형태로 이루어졌다. 셋째, 사전 검사로 실시한 청소년 인성 측정 문항의 요인 분석 결과 자아인식, 배려와 나눔 인식, 배려와 나눔 실천 3가지 요인으로 나타났으며, 연구 대상자의 가족관계 만족도나 학교생활 만족도가 높을수록 세 인성 변수간 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 배려와 나눔 실천 수업 활동 결과, 다양한 측면에서 긍정적으로 적용되었고 배려심, 배려와 나눔 실천 능력 향상과 인성 함양에도 도움이 되었다. 학생들은 배려와 나눔 실천 수업을 통해 배려와 나눔 실천의 중요성과 필요성을 알게 되었고 실천에 대해 더욱 관심 갖게 되었으며, 연구자 역시 배려와 나눔 실천 활동 수업이 학생들로 하여금 일상 생활에서도 배려와 나눔 공동체 문화를 형성하는데 도움을 주었고 인성함양에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다는 것에 큰 의미를 두고 수업을 진행하는 내내 보람과 행복감을 느꼈다. 이에 따라 가정 교과가 인성교육이 체계적으로 이루어지고 있는 가장 적합한 교과로 자리매김 하는데 기여하기를 기대한다.

단위평면의 형태요인에 따른 내부공간 가변화에 관한 분석 - 1998년 이후의 아파트를 중심으로 - (An Analytical Study on the Flexible Interior Space of Apartments according to Unit Plan Types - Focusing on Apartment Built Since 1998 -)

  • Apartments have become the most popular type of residential building in Korea since the 1960s. The dwelling space should be designed to accomodate various life styles or changing needs of family members. This research is conducted to analyze flexible interior space types of apartments and to improve the architectural planning and design of apartments that can satisfy various needs of residents. In this study, apartments of 10 - 90 pyeongs built in the region of Seoul, between 1998 and 2007, are investigated in terms of the unit plan, the number of open sides, and a distribution of flexible apartment types for each year, Apartments with flexible space are classified into 10 different types, including a flexible type between bedrooms, a flexible type between a bedroom and the livingroom, and a flexible type between the dinning room and the livingroom. According to the composition of unit plans, apartments are also differentiated as a single-corridor type, a double-corridor type, a stairway type, a hall type, and a combination type. According to these classifications, the characteristics of desirable unit plans were analyzed. The results of the analysis showed that, as the unit size of apartments get bigger, the ratio of width/depth of the front side unit plan is increased. This result reflects a trend of high-rise apartments which have an increased number of front-side bays and a shorter depth for better penetration of daylight. In addition, a hall type is found to have a wider front side and shorter depth. According to open sides, a flexible type of the livingroom and the dinning room/kitchen (L-D.K) is found to be most common for the front/back open space, and the livingroom is usually placed on the front/side open space. To meet the changing needs of residents, more research should be conducted on flexible dwelling space.

고령자 주택 설계지침에 의한 아파트의 고령친화도 연구 (A Study on the Elderly-Friendly Analysis of an Apartment by the Barrier Free Guidelines for the Elderly Housing)

  • Today, as proved in many foreign developed countries, the concept of 'Aging in Place' is the most desirable goal of welfare policy for an aging society. While multi-family housing is the most representative form of residence in Korea, it has not actively reflected convenient space lay-out for the elderly and barrier-free designs. As a foundation for the planning of elderly-friendly multi-family housing, this study suggested the comparative analysis of the five domestic design guidelines for elderly housing so as to apply the elderly-friendly flexibility for apartment units. In result, the most importantly treated items and factors of the silver house guidelines were analyzed, and based on which ten unit houses of domestic apartment housing were evaluated in order to find out the most barrier-like spaces and factors for the present domestic apartment housing to reflect flexibility as elderly housing. Finally, the way to resolve the problem was suggested as a conclusion.

중환자가 지각한 가족지지와 절망감과의 관계연구 (Family Support and Hopelessness in Patients Admitted to Neuro-Surgical Intensive Care Unit)

  • This study identified correlations between perceived family support and hopelessness in patients admitted to Neuro - surgical Intensive Care Units. The purpose was to enhance theoretical understanding of the relationships of these two variables. The subjects of this study were 51 patients admitted to N-lCU, at three general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected by researcher in structured interviews from Aug. 12 to Oct. 13, 1992. The research tools were parts of the Moos Family Environment Scale and the Beck Hopelessness Scale. The general characteristic data were analyzed for frequency and percentage ; the hypothesis was tested by the pearson product Moment Correlation Coefficient. After normality tests by using Kolmogorov - Sminorvtest, and T- test, ANOVA and Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal -Wallis test were used on the Family Support and the Hopelessness about general charcteristics. The results of the above analysis were as follows 1) The average family support score for the group was 63.61 (tool average 51) and item average was 3.74 (tool item average 3) : the family support score of this sample was higher than average. The average family cohesion score of family support was 35.25 (tool average 27) and item average was 3.91 (tool item average 3). The average family expression score of family support was 28.35 (tool average 24) and item average was 3.57 (tool average 3). In this sample, perceived family expression was lower than family cohesion. 2) The average hopelessness score was 45.88 (tool average 60) and item average was 2.29 (tool item average 3) : the hopelessness score of this sample was low in comparison to the average. 3) The hypothesis in this study was supported. The main hypothesis that the higher the perceived family support level, the lower the level Of the hopelessness, was Supported (r=-.3869 p=.003). The sub-hypothesis that the higher the perceived family cohesion level, the lower the level of hopelessness, was supported(r=-.3688 p=.004). The sub-hypothesis that the higher the perceived family expression level, the lower the level of hopelessness, was supported (r=-.3068 p=.014). 4) General characteristics of the objects related to family support were ‘economic status’(p=.025) and ‘helping person’(P=.044) : the higher the economic status, the greater the family support. When the patient identified the helping person as a spouse, family support was rated more highly. The only general characteristic related to family cohesion was ‘helping person’(p=.041). No general characteristics were related to family expression. 5) The one general characteristic related to hopelessness was ‘education’(p=.002) : the higher their education, the lower their hopelessness. For these ICU patients, were related perceived family support and hopelessness, and family expression level was low in comparison to family cohesion level. The perceived family support of these seriously ill patients in situational crisis may have influenced the patient's emotional reaction of hopelessness. This study concluded that nurses in the ICU confirm the family support of the patient, and involve the family as the most intimate support systems in the care of the patient to help reduce the patient's hopelessness.

가족생활 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초연구(II)-부부교육을 중심으로- (A Study on The Family Life Education(II) -special Reference to marital life education-)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop Family Life Education program for Marital education in Korea. In order to realize the about research purpose, this study is divided into three sections. First, nature conception and contents f Family Life Education, second, patterns and models for Family Life Education Program in USA and Korea, and Third, the future of Family Life Education. Family Life Education (FLE) is an education originated in reaction to changing social conditions, industrialization and urbanization, it deals with the perceived inadequacies of families to cope with these changes, thereby reduction social problems involved with, and improving family life. With and assumption that the studies about FLE have not been so active in Korea, the present thesis examines the FLE in Korea. The necessity of marital education in Korea Is based upon the theories of FLE in the United States of America. Also, it atempts to formulate a tentative plan for the promotion of a FLE program in Korea. The concept of FLE in Korea was manifested in the social educational law and life-span education. specified as 4th among ten presidential regulations. It is defined as " the Life-span developmental education to enhance the quality of human life, to solve family problems, to develop an individual's potentiality and to strengthen the family relations. of the FLE programs, the marital education is considered one of the furcial wubjects becaused it is the core of the family life. With this premise, FLE tries to wupport the healthy mrital relations. subsequently helping to explore the family potentiality and to strengthen family ties. The objects of the FLE program are unmarried, pre-marred , and married persons. For the married persons, the FLE program should be arranged in accordance with their rrital status divided by the family life cycle so that they may prevent possible family problems at each stage of the family life. Also, to prevent the problems occurred in the course of carrying out family functions, the FLE program should be provided with on the basis of a family unit, thereby improving the quality of the family functions. The FLE is to hep persons begin smoothly the adaption process for a successful marital relations. For the FLE to be practised more widely systematically, research on family education--that is basic study, research and production and evaluation or the FLE to be carried out by research institute wholly responsible for it-- should be done first.
