The purpose of this study is to present the number of necessary facilities for the establishment of safety education facility for students through the analysis of situation and demand of safety experience education facilities so as to effectively implement safety education based on 7 standards of school safety education. 7 standards of school safety education and experience programs of the existing safety experience center were analyzed and the experience program was extracted based on the analysis. Based on the derived program, the experience space was set up, and the existing safety experience facility was analyzed accordingly. Based on this, the number of necessary facilities was suggested by using the calculation formula derived to estimate the scale of the facility expansion. This is the result of estimating the required number of facilities based on the 2015 school age population. In the long run, it is necessary to calculate the appropriate ratio by actually comparing the unit construction costs of the facilities and the vehicles. In consideration of this, it is necessary to plan for the long-term necessary facilities and vehicles for the construction plans.

Demographic changes such as an aging and low fertility, as well as changes in industrial structure and residential environment, revealed the limitations of urban development policies. Accordingly, the government is making efforts to ensure a prosperous life for the people by including the plan to expand the living SOC in the national urban regeneration policy. The main priority tasks of the Living SOC include the establishment of welfare infrastructure for children and the vulnerable. This means that interest in welfare is increasing recently. In this study, we analyzed the supply status of welfare facilities for the senior, child and the disabled in 17 cities and provinces nationwide using LQ (Location Quotient). After analyzing the causes of the imbalance in the supply of welfare facilities by region, the improvement plan was suggested. Each welfare facility was highly localized by region, especially the accessibility gap between cities and provinces is very large. Welfare finances were similar in most cities and provinces, with the exception of some cities and provinces. In the case of cities with very high living standards, sufficient facilities were not provided. Improvement methods are as follows; Combination of welfare facilities that can maximize space efficiency, Securing appropriate welfare finance in consideration of living standards by city and province, Differentiation of supply method considering demand and user types for welfare facilities.

The important consideration in laboratory designing and construction of the artificial pollution testing facilities including 300kV, 1800kVA AC test system, which enable to test and evaluate the UHV dielectric performance of power insulators up to transmission class, has been dealt in this paper. To evaluate the performance characteristics against contamination for various power installation, especially for the insulators and kinds of bushings, brief investigation and an analysis of test objects and related international codes and standards have been conducted. With the special consideration concerning other matters in designing of these testing facilities have been described with the fixed ratings and references.

This study attempts to present specific technical measures and case models to meet the needs of caregivers and maximize the effectiveness of senior care facilities by utilizing Wellness IT Service. IT services for supporting elderly care need to go beyond productivity and efficiency and now require the new choice and standards to satisfy the Wellness concept of well-being and happiness. Therefore, this study explores to develop the existing human-based service into the Wellness IT Service by utilizing IT based Wellness in the elderly care facility and thereby to improve the quality of elderly care service. Therefore, this study analyzes the relevant research background and the various feasibility of technical applications of Wellness IT service, and review the new value creation in the elderly care facilities. Lastly this study provides a new foundation for Wellness architecture and a service model for using Wellness IT infrastructure of the elderly care facilities.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of external space general high schools newly established or planned in Gyeongnam from 2001 starting the 7th curriculum to 2006. The results of analysis about site plan type, composition state of external space and area ratio of its composition of each high school facilities are as follows: 1) In facilities arrangement of high schools, it shows diverse forms of arrangement from existing uniform straight type, however, most of schools do not being against the simple in their external space. 2) Comparing to traditional high school facilities, it occurs various types of plane and the area is somewhat expanded in the school with same class size, however, it needs to improve facility standards in its reality to deal with the change of future educational environment actively.

A performance-based design of smoke management systems for semiconductor fabrication facilities is described in this paper. The example of one such facility is discussed. Performance criteria for smoke control systems were established, effective smoke removal system features were identified and optimal system exhaust capacity requirements were developed by applying engineering tools including Fire Dynamic Simulator model. Considering the fact that the absence of relevant design guide, codes for consensus standards for semiconductor smoke design in Korea and United States this performance based approach can and should be applied to other fabrication facilities designs.

The purpose of the study is to propose architectural design standards of the Multi-purpose Auditorium planning in educational facilities. The success of the design is measured by how well variable elements are applied to parts of Multi-purpose Auditorium and designed and equipped so that all groups-amateurs, professionals, youth, and adult alike-may use it effectively. The use of this facility will extend over a wide range, including concerts, plays, motion pictures, forums, and other forms of presentation. The wall, stage, roof, windows, and furnitures are important parts of Multi-purpose Auditorium and variable elements can applied to these parts. To successfully application of variable elements, it is necessary that these elements are considered in planning phase including time schedule planning. Various elements are permit a more informal and flexible arrangement and extensive learning activity.
