Recently, buckling is easy to happen as that High tensile steel that is the thin plate absence is used comprehensively for the structure. Specially, buckling is getting into important design standard in hull construction which use High tensile steel. Therefore, that grasp conduct exactly after buckling is important in stability of hull structure. In this study, examined closely about conduct and secondary buckling after initial buckling of thin plate structure which receive compressive load according to various kinds yield strength under simply supported condition that make by buckling strength formula standard in each payment in advance rule to place that is representative construction of hull in this research. Analysis method is F.E.M by ANSYS and complicated nonlinear behaviour to analyze such as secondary buckling in used arc-length method.

A analysis of crack behavior in RC member was performed by nonlinear finite element method. Two crack models were used in F.E.M.(finite element method): one was FCM (the fixed crack model) and the other was RCM (the rotated crack model). Based on parametric study, the ratio of shear steel, strength of concrete, and a/d(shear span/effective depth) were compared with test results of references. According to the test results, when the member behavior was affected by the shear or diagonal tension, RCM was reasonable. However, when the behavior was affected by the flexibility, FCM was more appropriate. In addition, each crack model behavior for the change of shear steel ratio, the increase of strain energy was constant in FCM, but it was different in RCM because of diagonal crack distribution and crack width. Since the strength of concrete is affected not only by shear but also by flexural strength, each crack model behavior yields similar results.

Driven by the need for remote learning, the COVID-19 pandemic led to the rise of use of videoconferencing tools. Scholars began noticing an emerging phenomenon of feeling tired and exhausted during virtual meetings. This study determined the predictors of videoconference or Zoom fatigue among nursing students in a large, private, non-sectarian university in the Philippines. This cross-sectional online survey involves 597 nursing students in the Philippines using the Zoom Exhaustion and Fatigue Scale. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine predictors of videoconference fatigue. Results indicated that nursing students experienced high levels of videoconference fatigue. Gender, self-reported academic performance, Internet connection stability, attitude toward videoconferencing, frequency, and duration of videoconferences predicted videoconference fatigue. The regression model explained 25.3% of the variances of the videoconference fatigue. Videoconference fatigue is relatively prevalent and may be taking its toll on nursing students. Developing strategic interventions that can protect or mitigate the impact of fatigue during virtual meetings is needed.
The choice of individual material for industrial application is primarily based on knowledge of its behavior in similar applications and similar environmental conditions. Contemporary design implies knowledge of material behavior and knowledge in the area of structural analysis supported by large capacity computers. Bearing this in mind, this paper presents and analyzes the experimental results related to the mechanical properties of the material considered (30CrNiMo8/1.6580/AISI 4340) at different temperatures as well as its creep and fatigue behavior. All experimental tests were carried out as uniaxial tests. The test results related to the mechanical properties are presented in the form of engineering stress-strain diagrams. The results related to the creep behavior of the material are shown in the form of creep curves, while the fatigue of the material is shown in the form of stress - life (S - N) diagram. Based on these experimental results, the values of the following properties are determined: ultimate tensile strength (${\sigma}_{m,20}=696MPa$), yield strength (${\sigma}_{0.2,20}=355.5MPa$), modulus of elasticity ($E_{,20}=217GPa$) and fatigue limit (${\sigma}_{f,20,R=-1}=280.4MPa$). Results related to fatigue tests were obtained at room temperature and stress ratio R = -1.

Plate girders with variable depths have been often used at piers considering not only the economy but also an aesthetic aspect. Tapered plate girders exhibit more complicated behaviors than prismatic girders especially under shear. However, a comprehensive design method for the determination of the shear strength has yet to be developed mainly due to lack of study. In this study, investigated is the buckling and ultimate behaviors of tapered plate girders subjected to shear through finite element analyses. From the analysis results, a simple design formula is suggested for the evaluation of the shear strength of tapered plate girders.

In this paper, a new soft ground tunneling technique termed the PNT method(Pre-Nailed Tunneling Method) is studied. Mechanism of the method is investigated in terms of theoretical and numerical approaches. The pre-nailing effects are validated by performing two dimensional numerical analyses. It is identified that the method is successful in soft grounds, and greatly efficient in reducing the ground deformation by nailing the ground. To develop the design guidelines of the method, numerical parametric analyses on the installation range and angle were also carried out.

A new 80Ti-15Ta-5Zr wt% alloy surface was protected by anodic oxidation in phosphoric acid solution. The protective oxide layer (TiO2, ZrO2 and Ta suboxides and thickness of 15.5 nm) incorporated $PO{_4}^{3-}$ ions from the solution, according to high resolution XPS spectra. The AFM analysis determined a high roughness with SEM detected pores (20 - 50 nm). The electrochemical studies of bare and anodically oxidized Ti-15Ta-5Zr alloy in Carter-Brugirard saliva of different pH values and saliva with 0.05M NaF, pointed to a nobler surface for the protected alloy, with a thicker electrodeposited oxide layer acting as a barrier against aggressive ions. The oxidized alloy significantly decreased corrosion current densities and total quantity of ions released into the oral environment in comparison with the bare one, at higher polarisation resistance and protective capacity of the electrodeposited layer. The impedance data revealed a bi-layered oxidation film formed by: a dense, compact, barrier layer in contact with the metallic substrate, decreasing the potential gradient across the metal/oxide layer/solution interface, reducing the anodic dissolution and a more permissive, porous layer in contact with the electrolyte. The open circuit potential for protected alloy shifted to nobler values, with thickening of the oxidation film signifying long-term protection.

Two trials were conducted to investigate the effect of decreasing the crude protein (CP) content of diets for finishing pigs containing two levels of available lysine on nutrient digestibility, nitrogen (N) balance and production performance. Ten finishing diets containing five levels of CP (on average 144, 155, 168, 182 and 193 g/kg fresh basis) and two levels of available lysine (6.9 and 8.2 g/kg fresh basis) were formulated. The diets were offered to pigs on a performance trial (n = 800 Large White (LW)${\times}$Landrace (LR) pigs) from 10 wk of age until finish at 21 wks+5 d of age. Average daily gain (ADG), average daily feed intake (ADFI) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) were calculated. In addition, a digestibility/N balance trial was conducted using pigs (n = 80 $LW{\times}LR$) housed in metabolism crates. Digestibility of dry matter (DM), CP, oil, fibre and energy was determined. N balance values were determined through analysis of N content of urine and faeces ('as determined'). N balance values were also calculated using ADG values and assuming that 16% of growth is protein deposition ("as calculated"). Pig performance was poor between 10 and 13 wk of age which indicated that the dietary treatments were nutritionally inadequate for pigs less than 40 kg. There was a significant (p<0.01) quadratic effect of increasing CP level on feed intake, ADG and FCR from 10 to 13 wk which indicated that the lower CP levels did not supply adequate levels of essential or non-essential amino acids. There was no effect of increasing available lysine level throughout the early period, which in conjunction with the response in older pigs, suggested that both 8.2 and 6.9 g/kg available lysine were insufficient to drive optimum growth. There was a positive response (p<0.05) to increasing available lysine level from 13 wk to finish which indicated that 6.9 g/kg available lysine was not adequate for finishing pigs. Energy digestibility decreased with decreasing CP level of diets containing 6.9 g/kg available lysine which may be attributed to the higher fibre content of the lower CP diets. Nitrogen excretion (g/d) was lowered when dietary CP was reduced regardless of whether the values were determined through balance or calculated using ADG. Calculated N excretion decreased linearly (p<0.001) and quadratically (p<0.001) with decreasing dietary CP content. When the N balance figures calculated in this study were compared with those quoted in the Northern Ireland and English Nitrates Directive Action Programmes, N excretion was less per pig (wean to finish) offered a 169 g/kg CP, 8.2 g/kg available lysine diet (2.39 kg vs 3.41 kg (Northern Ireland) and 2.93 kg (England)).
This article is to analyse the economic efficiency of capital market, which plays a role of resource allocation in terms of financial claims such as stock and bond. It provides various contributions to the welfare theoretical aspects of modern capital market theory. The key feature that distinguishes the theory described here from traditional welfare theory is the presence of uncertainty. Securities has time dimensions and the state and outcome of the future are really uncertain. This problem resulting from this uncertainty can be solved by complete market, but it has a weak power to explain real stock market. Capital Market is faced with the uncertainity because it is a kind of incomplete market. Individuals and firms in capital market made their consumption-investment decision by their own criteria, i. e. the maximization of expected utility form intertemporal consumption and the maximization of the market value of firm. We noted that allocative decisions that had to be made in the economy could be naturally subdivided into two groups. One set of decisions concerned the allocation of first-period resources among consumption $C_i$, investment in risky firms $I_j$, and riskless investment M. The other decisions concern the distribution among individuals of income available in the second period $Y_i(\theta)$. Corresponing to this grouping, the theoretical analysis of efficiency has also been dichotomized. The optimality of the distribution of output in the second period is distributive efficiency" and the optimality of the allocation of first-period resources is 'the efficiency of investment'. We have found in the distributive efficiency that the conditions for attainability is the same as the conditions for market optimality. The necessary and sufficient conditions for attainability or market optimality is that (1) all utility functions are such that -$\frac{{U_i}^'(Y_i)}{{U_i}^"(Y_i)}={\mu}_i+{\lambda}Y_i$-linear risk tolerance function where the coefficients ${\mu}_i$ and $\lambda$ are independent of $Y_i$, and (2) there are homogeneous expectations, i. e. ${\Large f}_i(\theta)={\Large f}(\theta)$ for every i. On the other hand, the efficiency of investment has disagreement about optimal investment level. The investment level for market rule will not generally lead to Pareto-optimal allocation of investment. This suboptimality is caused by (1)the difference of Diamond's decomposable production function and mean-variance valuation model and (2) the selection of exelusive investment or competitive investment. In conclusion, this article has made an analysis of conditions and processes of Pareto-optimal allocation of resources in capital marker and tried to connect with significant issues in modern finance.
