참까막살 에탄올 추출물이 B16F10 흑색종 세포에서의 멜라닌합성에 미치는 영향연구 (Inhibitory Effects of Polyopes affinis Ethanol Extract on Melanogenesis in B16F10 Melanoma Cells)

  • 본 연구는 참까막살 에탄올 추출물이 천연 미백 소재로의 가능성을 알아보기 위해 멜라닌 함량, 세포내 tyrosinase 활성 측정 및 Western blotting 실험이 수행되었다. 참까막살 에탄올 추출물의 농도에 따른 MTT assay를 통해 세포 생존율 및 증식에 큰 영향을 미치지 않는 $500{\mu}g/ml$ 농도까지를 실험 조건으로 설정하였다. B16F10 melanoma cell의 melanin 생성에 미치는 영향을 측정한 결과 대조군에 비하여 ${\alpha}-MSH$만 처리한 경우 뚜렷하게 증가하였고, 참까막살 에탄올 추출물을 100, 300, $500{\mu}g/ml$의 농도로 각각 처리한 결과 ${\alpha}-MSH$만을 처리한 것에 비해 25%, 30%, 35%로 농도 의존적으로 감소하였다. Tyrosinase 활성도 100, 300, $500{\mu}g/ml$의 농도로 처리한 결과 ${\alpha}-MSH$만을 처리한 것에 비해 6%, 12%, 21%로 감소하였다. 참까막살 에탄올 추출물의 멜라닌 합성 관련 단백질 발현에 대한 영향을 확인하기 위하여 Western blot으로 미백관련 전사인자인 MITF, TRP-1, TRP-2, Tyrosinase 발현을 조사하였다. ${\alpha}-MSH$을 단독 처리한 경우에 각 단백질의 발현이 현저하게 증가하는 것을 확인 할 수 있었고 반면 참까막살 에탄올 추출물을 처리한 경우 농도 의존적으로 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며 특히 $500{\mu}g/ml$의 농도에서 매우 효과적으로 억제되었다. 본 연구 결과 참까막살 에탄올 추출물은 멜라닌 생합성에 관련된 유전자인 MITF, TRP-1, TRP-2, Tyrosinase의 발현을 억제하는 것으로 나타나, 향후 기능성 화장품 개발에 있어 효과적인 미백 기능성 해양 소재로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

철근구속을 받는 고강도 콘크리트의 자기수축저감에 관한 실험 연구 (An experimental study on the reduction of autogenous shrinkage of high strength concrete with bar restricted specimen)

  • In this paper, to seek a solution of reducing autogenous shrinkage three types of bar restricted concrete specimens which have similar compressive strength were tested. The three type of concrete were plain concrete-P25 type, $10^{\circ}C$ fly-ash replaced concrete-F10 type, and $1^{\circ}C$ expansion admixture replaced concrete-SP1 type, and with the test result an experimental study was conducted to gain the tensile stress of concrete. From the result of P25, SP1, F10 tests, it was found that by the age of 14 the ratios of tensile stress to tensile strength of three specimens are $75^{\circ}C$, $47^{\circ}C$, $52^{\circ}C$ respectively. so we came to a conclusion that the SP1-type concrete has better capacity to reduce autogenous shrinkage than F10-type concrete at similar compressive strength condition.

  • In this paper, Inverter drives adopting 2 phase space vector SRP-PWM (Separately Randomized Pulse Position PWM) with fixed switching frequency is proposed. The proposed 2 phase space vector SRP-PWM scheme is based on the 3 phase SRP-PWM. In the proposed SRP-PWM scheme, each of two phase pulses is located randomly in each switching interval. The experimental results show that the voltage and acoustic noise harmonics are spread to a wide band area. Also, the performance of the proposed 2 phase SRP-PWM and the conventional center aligned SVM are compared to each other. In resuit, the speed response is nearly simitar to each other from the viewpoint of the v/f constant control.

Ni-MgO 복합재료의 전기전도도와 유전상수 (AC Conductivity and Dielectric Constant of Ni-MgO Composites)

  • The Ni-MgO composites were prepared by coprecipitation of NiO-MgO solid solutions and their selective reduction in a hydrogen atmosphere. We report on the measurements of both ac conductivity $\sigma$ ($\omega$, f) and dielectric constant $textsc{k}$'($\omega$, f) for the Ni-MgO composites in the frequency range from 10 Hz to 10 MHz at room temperature. The frequency exponents of conductivity and dielectric constant, x and y, are found to be x=0.98$\pm$0.05 and y=0.05$\pm$0.01. These results are in good agreement with a general scaling relation $\chi$-y=1, although these values are different from the theoretical predications. The dielectric constant exponent ($textsc{k}$' f-fc -s) is found to be s=0.62$\pm$0.07 with estimated percolation threshold fc=0.20$\pm$0.02.

  • A Dual Mass Flywheel system is a evolution to the reduction of torsional vibration and impact noise occuring in powertrain when a vehicle is eit-her moving or idling. The name already explains what it is : The mass of the conventional single mass flywheel is divided. One section continues to belong to the mass moment of inertia of the engine-side. The ot-her section increass the mass moment of inertia of the transmission-side. The two masses are connected via a spring /damping system. This reduces the speed at which the dreaded resonance occurs to below idle speed. Since 1984 Dual Mass Flywheel has been de-veloped again and again. But the prosidures of de-velopment of D.M.F system didn't have had differe-nce from conventional clutch system's trial and err-or This paper presents the method for systematical design of D.M.F system with demensionless design variables of D.M.F system mass ratio between two flywheels λ. natual frequency rate of two flywheel s, ${\gamma}$and viscosity coefficient ζ. And experimental re-sults are used to prove these theoretical results.

사이클 하중이력이 $SiC_f/Si_3N_4섬유강화 복합재료의 크리프에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Cyclic Loading History on the Creep of $SiC_f/Si_3N_4$ Fiber-reinforced Composite)

  • The influence of cyclic loading history on the creep behavior of the 30 vol% hot-pressed $SiC_f/Si_3N_4copmposite was experimentally investigated at $1200^{\circ}C$. The duration of loading/unloading had great effects on the creep behaviors. The short term duration cyclic loading history test results showed significant reduction in the primary and steady-state creep rates. For example, 300sec loading/300sec unloading history resulted in 70% lower steady-state creep rate than that of the continuous loading. However the long term duration cyclic loading history test results showed little change in creep rates compared to those of the continuous one. The reason for the significant change in the short term duration cycles was estimated due to the change in the stress redistribution between the fiber and matrix during the creep recovery in the primary stage.

  • This paper describes minimum current control method for size reduction and performances improvement at unified inverter-induction motor system. This control method is based on V/F without speed sensor. Through the use of minimum stator current points at required torque during V/F operation it is possible to minimize the size of heat-sink related with the losses of power circuit and to improve overall efficiency compared to conventional V/F control. Using this proposed scheme, it is so much more useful to apply to some fields such a selectric vehicles. air conditioning system and textile mills where the limited space is given and required low cost.

  • A simple analysis method for inverter-fed induction motor using F.E.M and harmonic equivalent circuit is proposed. And an optimum shape of rotor slot for 2Hp inverter-fed induction motor is determined by combining the proposed analysis method and an optimization algorithm. Conjugate gradient method is used for the optimization algorithm. The optimization is performed for higher efficiency and reduction of harmonic loss in the inverter-fed induction motor. The optimization results are verified by comparing with those of the time-step F.E.A.

  • In this paper, the stress intensity factors at the crack tips in a finite plate having a straight crack with arbitrary lengths and directions are analyzed by means of Boundary Collocation Method in Cartesian coordinates under the following two cases. A) Case of only considering stress components at the boundary collocation points B) Case of considering stress resultant at the boundary, in addition to case of )A) and analyzed by means of F.E.M. To certify the Boundary Collocation Method the solutions of B.C.M. are compared with the solutions of F.E.M. demonstrates the simplicity of input data preparation and the reduction of cpu time against F.E.M.

Study on Safety and Reliability of ETOPS using Aircraft Operation Simulation

  • A methodology has been developed for predicting aircraft reliability incorporating both C.C.F.s(Common-Cause Failures), and phased missions. Failure behaviour of an aircraft, or it's systems are predicted. Both independent failures, and C.C.F.s, are modelled by the Markov process, and simulated using Monte Carlo sampling with the robust variance reduction method. Prediction of safety and reliability is made through discrete-event simulation of aircraft operations. A case study is described for investigating the safety and reliability of the propulsion system of two-, three- and four-engined aircraft. This is particularly important for the design of ETOPS(Extended Range of Two-Engined Aircraft Operations) and results are presented for the cases with, and without the effect of C.C.F.s.
