  • This paper proposes the technique for recognizing the human´s emotion by using the CCD color image. To do this, we first acquire the color image from the CCD camera. And then propose the method for recognizing the expressing to be represented the structural correlation of man´s feature points(eyebrows, eye, nose, mouse), In the proposed method. Human´s emotion is divided into four emotion(surprise, anger, happiness, sadness). Finally, we have proven the effectiveness of the proposed method through the experimentation.

  • The author observed a rare case of radicular dentin dysplasia associated with enamel hypoplasia in a 11-year-old boy with a complaint of gum boil formation. 1. Clinically. yellowish-brown colored teeth with severe attrition and several gum boils were observed. 2. Radiographically, obliteration of pulp chamber and root canal, multiple periapical radiolucencies without obvious cause and blunt roots were observed. 3. Systemically, scalp hair and eyebrows were loose and short. And saddle nose could be also seen.

  • This paper deals with the development of a smart mirror to support changing hair styles. A key function of the service is the ability to synthesize the image into the user's face when the user chooses a desired hair image and virtually styling the hair. To check the effectiveness of the hair image synthesis function, the success rate measurement experiment of Haar-cascade algorithm's facial recognition was conducted. Experiments have confirmed that the facial recognition succeeds with a 95 percent probability, with both eyes and eyebrows visible to the subjects. It is the highest success rate. It confirmed that if either of the eyebrows of the subjects are not visible or one eyeball is covered, the success rate of facial recognition is 50% and 0% respectively.

  • Facial feminization surgery (FFS) incorporates aesthetic and craniofacial surgical principles and techniques to feminize masculine facial features and facilitate gender transitioning. A detailed understanding of the defining male and female facial characteristics is essential for success. In this first part of a two-part series, we discuss key aspects of the general preoperative consultation that should be considered when evaluating the prospective facial feminization patient. Assessment of the forehead, orbits, hairline, eyebrows, eyes, and nose and the associated procedures, including scalp advancement, supraorbital rim reduction, setback of the anterior table of the frontal sinus, rhinoplasty, and soft tissue modifications of the upper and midface are discussed. In the second part of this series, bony manipulation of the midface, mandible, and chin, as well as soft tissue modification of the nasolabial complex and chondrolaryngoplasty are discussed. Finally, a review of the literature on patient-reported outcomes in this population following FFS is provided.

  • In this paper, advertising and public relations services to provide kincet to implement a control system using face recognition and media. Traditionally, this unilateral system for delivering advertisements to consumers, is currently directed interactive ads. In other words, interactive advertising service that offers bi-directional communication. In the proposed system, the kincet using face recognition, to recognize faces with eyes, mouth, jaws and eyebrows. Presently used kinect version is the face of instability in the recognition and accurately is difficult to separate the three parts of the jaw, eyes, eyebrows only leverage. the classification has an easy immoyangProvide control services by separating the media, Hwanam-myeon, laughing. Also, consumers understand the expression of the control of the media and using picture for advertising to consumers through the transfer on both had indelibly imprinted by advertising.Effective are expected to appear.

  • This study compares and analyzes bridal wedding styles in Korean and Chinese SNS. For this, 715 photos (362 in Korea and 353 in China) collected on social media (Instagram and Xiaohongshu) were used for analysis. The bridal wedding style was divided by item into wedding dress, makeup, and hairstyle, and detailed characteristics of images and designs were examined through content analysis and statistical analysis. First, in the case of Korea, many wedding dresses showed ball gowns and mermaid silhouettes, white colors, and no details and trimmings. As for the makeup, transparent and natural skin expression, straight eyebrows, and pink and peach lip colors were highlighted; and as for hairstyles, many long hair with half-covered ears appeared. Second, in China, a ball gown, mermaid silhouette, and white color are often seen in wedding dresses, and point colors and use of various details and trimmings are noted. The makeup showed a lot of bright skin expression, brown and black eyebrows, and red and brown lip colors. As for hairstyle, a lot of long hair with completely exposed ears appeared. Third, the comparison of bridal wedding styles between Korea and China indicated that China used relatively more details and trimmings in wedding dresses. As for makeup, Korea has a natural image, and China has a classic image. As for the hairstyle, there were many styles in which Koreans had half the ears covered, and Chinese had no bangs and completely exposed ears.

  • This paper proposes a novel human-computer interaction system for the disabled using recognition of face direction. Face direction is recognized by comparing positions of center of gravity between face region and facial features such as eyes and eyebrows. The face region is first selected by using color information, and then the facial features are extracted by applying a separation filter to the face region. The process speed for recognition of face direction is 6.57frame/sec with a success rate of 92.9% without any special hardware for image processing. We implement human-computer interaction system using screen menu, and show a validity of the proposed method from experimental results.

  • The sign-language can be used as an auxiliary communication means between avatars of different languages in cyberspace. At that time, an intelligent communication method can also be utilized to achieve real-time communication, where intelligently coded data (joint angles for arm gestures and action units for facial emotions) are transmitted instead of real pictures. In this paper, a method of generating the facial gesture CG animation on different avatar models is provided. At first, to edit emotional expressions efficiently, a comic-style facial model having only eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth is employed. Then generation of facial emotion animation with the parameters is also investigated. Experimental results show a possibility that the method could be used for the intelligent avatar communications between Korean and Japanese.

  • In this paper, we propose a new method of eye, face, and lip makeup techniques on the target face image from several makeup examples without losing detail features such as eyelids, eyebrows, hair. After detection of the feature layer for the skin, we applied our makeup techniques to the target face by using a blending technique. We used a cartoon rendering using bilateral filter. In order to smoothly makeup the target face, we created two Gaussian Weight maps for natural skin makeup effects. Our method did not need to perform complex operations, so the makeup results are so natural. Our experimental results show good performances in various makeups.
