  • Narcissism is a pathological phenomenon and narcissistic subject always needs to put itself on the top and has interest in nothing but its own determination. The protagonist of Adversary by ?mmanuel Carr?re does pay careful attention to what others are thinking of him while he does not distinguish difference between object of love and himself. So he can be allegedly narcissistic subject. And it can be said that the behaviors of Mary in the movie Under the sand by Ozon are included in narcissism in that narcissistic subject has the characteristics that idealizes the object of libido. However, in this study, the heroine is examined based on such a point that the object of love and extreme idealization incline toward others. We call this case reverse-narcissism. In Part 2, it is investigated what relation narcissism as an unconscious psychological tool has with Oedipus complex, which plays an important role in forming human psyche. For instance, disappointment caused by prohibition at the oedipal stage is too severe, which creates superego and its idealization to protect in such a way that narcissistic regression can not be done. Cases of extremely big gap between ego and ideal type are perversion, impostor, mania, paranoia, etc, where narcissistic and oedipal elements are combined to affect.

  • Since the terrain of Korea is complex, micro- as well as meso-climate variability is extreme by locations in Korea. In particular, air temperature of agricultural fields is influenced by topographic features of the surroundings making accurate interpolation of regional meteorological data from point-measured data. This study was carried out to compare spatial interpolation methods to estimate air temperature in agricultural fields surrounded by rugged terrains in South Korea. Four spatial interpolation methods including Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW), Spline, Ordinary Kriging (with the temperature lapse rate) and Cokriging were tested to estimate monthly air temperature of unobserved stations. Monthly measured data sets (minimum and maximum air temperature) from 588 automatic weather system(AWS) locations in South Korea were used to generate the gridded air temperature surface. As the result, temperature lapse rate improved accuracy of all of interpolation methods, especially, spline showed the lowest RMSE of spatial interpolation methods in both maximum and minimum air temperature estimation.

  • The behavioural patterns of individuals in the same species are very diverse. The phenomenon in which different behavioural phenotypes are maintained in the same species for long time can be explained by niche specialization or frequency dependent selection, but it has not been proven yet. Especially, the high prevalence of mental illnesses as extreme behaviour patterns is one of the challenges of evolutionary psychology. From an evolutionary point of view, several frameworks for studying various patterns of behaviours or psychopathologies may be proposed. In this paper, I briefly explain animal models, personality factor models, DSM-IV multiaxial models, FSD models, and RDoC models, and discuss their advantages and disadvantages, focusing on the evolutionary approach to behavioural variation among individuals.

  • Power can be generated from either renewable or non-renewable sources. Renewable sources are liked to maintain a strategic distance from contamination emanation and rely on upon fossil energizes which is decreasing day by day. The proposed sun powered vitality transformation unit comprises of a sun oriented exhibit, Bidirectional DC-DC converter, single stage inverter and AC. The inverter changes over DC control from the PV board into AC power and offered it to the heap which is associated with the lattice. The photovoltaic sun powered vitality (PV) is the most direct approach to change over sunlight based radiation into power and depends on the photovoltaic impact. The most extreme power point following of the PV yield for all daylight conditions is a key to keep the yield control per unit cost low for fruitful PV applications. Framework associated PV frameworks dependably have an association with people in general power matrix by means of an appropriate inverter in light of the fact that a PV module conveys just dc power. This project presents the new design, Development and Performance Analysis of a Grid Connected PV Inverter. Demonstrate that the proposed framework can lessen the Energy Consumption radically from the power board and give a solid support to the Grid.

  • Urban flood simulation plays a vital role in national flood early warning, prevention and mitigation. In recent studies on 2-dimensional flood modeling, the integrated run-off inundation model is gaining grounds due to its ability to perform in greater computational efficiency. The adaptive quadtree shallow water numerical technique used in this model implements the adaptive mesh refinement (AMR) in this simulation, a procedure in which the grid resolution is refined automatically following the flood flow. The method discounts the necessity to create a whole domain mesh over a complex catchment area, which is one of the most time-consuming steps in flood simulation. This research applies the dynamic grid refinement method in simulating the recent extreme flood events in Metro Manila, Philippines. The rainfall events utilized were during Typhoon Ketsana 2009, and Southwest monsoon surges in 2012 and 2013. In order to much more visualize the urban flooding that incorporates the flow within buildings and high-elevation areas, Digital Surface Model (DSM) resolution of 5m was used in representing the ground elevation. Results were calibrated through the flood point validation data and compared to the present flood hazard maps used for policy making by the national government agency. The accuracy and efficiency of the method provides a strong front in making it commendable to use for early warning and flood inundation analysis for future similar flood events.

  • The development of radiation-tolerant radio-frequency (RF) systems can be a solution for applications in extreme radiation environments, such as nuclear power plant monitoring and space exploration. Among the crucial components within an RF system, the low noise amplifier (LNA) stands out due to its vulnerability to TID effects, mainly relying on transistors as its main devices. In this study, the TID effects in the LNA using standard 0.18 ㎛ complementary metal oxide semiconductors (CMOS) technology are estimated and analyzed. The results show that the LNA can withstand absorbed radiation up to 100 kGy. The S21, S11, noise figure (NF), stability (K), and linearity of the third input intercept point (IIP3) slightly shifted from the initial values of 0.8312 dB, 0.793 dB, 0.00381 dB, 1.34406, and 2.36066 dBm, respectively which are still comparable to the typical performances. Moreover, the standard 0.18 ㎛ technology has demonstrated its radiation tolerance, as it exhibits negligible performance degradation in the conventional LNA even when exposed to radiation levels up to 100 kGy. In this context, simulation approach offers a means to predict the TID effects and estimate the radiation exposure limit for electronic devices, particularly when transistors are used as the primary RF components.

  • In this paper, in order to enhance the image reconstruction performance of white light scanning interferometry(WLI), we demonstrate the scattered point noise filtering performance of post-processing methods. Median filtering is similar to using an averaging filter. Because the median value is less sensitive than the mean to extreme values, the median filter can remove the scattered point noise from a height-map without significantly reducing the sharpness of the image. In several specific cases, however, the median filter can't remove the scattered point noise. Therefore, we propose a comparative mean filter that uses order-statistic filtering and the mean of the neighborhood pixels. The performance is demonstrated by measuring an array of metal solder balls fabricated on PCB. The proposed method reduced the noise pixels by 4.4 percent.

  • Surface charge characteristics of Ultisol(Luisiana soil from Philippines), Alfisol(Maahas soil from Philippines), and Inceptisol(Yongii soil from Korea) were studied by way of potentiometric titration, backtitration technique, and ion adsorption method(or CEC - AEC method). The PZNC(point of zero net charge) values determined by ion adsorption method were much lower than the natural pHs in all soils, indicating that all soil samples bore net negative surface charge. The PZSE (point of zero salt effect) values determined by potentiometric titration and backtitration technique were identical in Luisiana and Yongii soils but not in Maaghas soil. All soils showed higher PZSE values than PZNC values probably due to the influence of permanent negative charge. The permanent charge calculated by the theory of Uehara and Gillman (1980) occupied quite low portion of the CEC measured at pH 7 in all soils. Backtitration technique corrected errors of potentiometric titration at extreme pH. However, it still overestimate the surface charge compared with ion adsorption method. Therefore, the ion adsorption method was recommanded for the surface charge measurement of the usual soils which have high negative charge components.

  • When we design a dress, we should not only consider the esthetic sense and the relationship between movements of the body and the type of dress, but also the combination between the qualities and proper uses of textiles. recently the sale of ready-made clothes has been booming but I wonder whether they have been made in accordance with research concerning body movements and dresses. I would like to make the following observations on dresses, because I have personally suffered the inconvenience of restricted arm movements when wearing ready-made clothes. I have made four types types of foundations with muslin and Jersey, with these foundations I measured the degree of tension or how much the waist-line was drawn up then the arm was moved in increments of 45 degree angles and there by covering the entire span of vertical and horizontal movements. I have intended to experiment with sleeves of differing height in several ways. Concerning the movement factor, I have determined that with excessive activity vertical movements are twice as uncomfortable as horizontal movements. Concerning the faburic, I have found that because jersey has more elastic qualities than muslin, it has proven to be more responsive to body movements. concerning dresses, I have fund that the higher the height of the sleeves, the more uncomfortable it is to move the arms and the greater the degree to which the waist-line is drawn up. As a result this experiment I have made the following observations. Firstly, the vertical movement of the arms to a 180 degree angle has the most extreme influence on the breadth of movement of the waist-line. Secondly, because jersey permits freer body movements than muslin, it should be the preferred material for use in making sportswear. Thirdly, the formula A·H/4+3 of the sleev's cap height is suitable for making street dresses and formal wear. The formula A·H/5 and A·H/6 are properly used when making working clothes and sportswear, and the formula A·H/8 is proper for a sleeping garment and clothes for patients. Fourthly when deciding to any garments, it is important to consider the amount of arm movement anticipated and the relationship between the material and the degree to which the waistline is drawn up. In nder-blouse, when we raise our arms to the most extreme position, we should at that point still have 20∼25 cm of material remaining under the waist-line which includes the maximum of 14.1cm plus part of the blouse and breath of skirt's belt. In the case of the over blouse it is proper for us to have the length of 17∼20 cm remaining below the waist-line.
