  • In this paper, we have described a development of the external instrumentation system of a fighter aircraft for flight test. The external instrumentation system consists of the instrumentation pod and the image pod. The instrumentation pod measures a flight data(attitude, velocity, altitude, etc) of the fighter aircraft by using GPS/AHRS sensor. The image pod takes high-speed images for the separation trajectory of a smart bomb with 2 high-speed cameras and video signal for it with one general camera. We have verified the performance of the external instrumentation system through the ground test, the environment test and the flight test.

  • A novel sufficient condition of discretized equivalent control based sliding mode controller (SMC) for a second-order system with external disturbance to be globally uniformly ultimately bounded (GUUB) is proposed. The proposed stability condition guarantees that the system state is always GUUB in the presence of disturbance. The ultimate bounds of the system state variables are also derived.

  • With the latest developments in ICT(Information Communication Technology) technology, research on Intelligent Car, Connected Car that support autonomous driving or services is actively underway. It is true that the number of inputs linked to external connections is likely to be exposed to a malicious intrusion. I studied possible security issues that may occur within the Connected Car. A variety of security issues may arise in the use of CAN, the most typical internal network of vehicles. The data can be encrypted by encrypting the entire data within the CAN network system to resolve the security issues, but can be time-consuming and time-consuming, and can cause the authentication process to be carried out in the event of a certification procedure. To resolve this problem, CAN network system can be used to authenticate nodes in the network to perform a unique authentication of nodes using nodes in the network to authenticate nodes in the nodes and By encoding the ID, identifying the identity of the data, changing the identity of the ID and decryption algorithm, and identifying the cipher and certification techniques of the external invader, the encryption and authentication techniques could be detected by detecting and verifying the external intruder. Add a monitoring node to the CAN network to resolve this. Share a unique ID that can be authenticated using the server that performs the initial certification of nodes within the network and encrypt IDs to secure data. By detecting external invaders, designing encryption and authentication techniques was designed to detect external intrusion and certification techniques, enabling them to detect external intrusions.

  • In this paper the structure of 2-DOF controller based on artificial immune network algorithms has been suggested for nonlinear system. Up to present time, a number of structures of the 2-DOF controllers are considered as 2-DOF (2-Degrees Of Freedom) control functions. However, a general view is provided that they are the special cases of either the state feedback or the modification of PID controllers. On the other hand, the immune network system possesses a self organizing and distributed memory, also it has an adaptive function by feed back law to its external environment and allows a PDP (parallel distributed processing) network to complete patterns against the environmental situation, since antibody recognizes specific antigens which are the foreign substances that invade living creatures. Therefore, it can provide optimal solution to external environment. Simulation results by immune based 2-DOF controller reveal that immune algorithm is an effective approach to search for 2-DOF controller.

  • The in-core instrumentation measures core power distribution and coolant temperature in local regions of the core in pressurized water reactors. The installation types are distinguished by the designs of routing paths that exit either through reactor bottom mounted instrument nozzles or through reactor top mounted instrument nozzles. Although each type has unique advantages, it is generally known that top mounted design is more competitive with respect to emphasizing nuclear safety issues and ability to cope with severe accidents. The international nuclear vendors have provided various types of reactors with top mounted design. Nuclear power reactors in Korea, however, only have been designed to be applicable to the use of bottom mounted design, and it has been pointed out that the capabilities of Korean reactors against severe accidents should be further enhanced. The paper deals with technical issues on reactor internal and external design, in-core instrumentation, support assembly, sealing mechanism with nozzles, handling, and analytical issues in order to establish the ways of development.

  • Although many methods about the control of irregular external noise have been introduced and implemented, it is still necessary to design a controller that will be more effective and efficient methods to exclude for various noises. Accumulation of errors due to model tracking, internal noises (thermal noise, shot noise and 1/f noise) that come from elements such as resistor, diode and transistor etc. in the circuit system and numerical errors due to digital process often destabilize the system and reduce the system performance. New stochastic controller is adopted to remove those noises using conventional controller simultaneously. Design method of a model tracking dual controller is proposed to improve the stability of system while removing external and internal noises. In the study, design process of the model tracking dual stochastic controller is introduced that improves system performance and guarantees robustness under irregular internal noises which can be created internally. The model tracking dual stochastic controller utilizing F-P-K stochastic control technique developed earlier is implemented to reveal its performance via simulation.

  • Measuring method being applied for off-shore works is performed by using data logger or manual measuring instrument with wiring the cable connected from the sensor up to the position where measuring is allowed.(upper part of embankment or marine structure) Measuring management by using existing measuring method may be acceptable on the condition that the ground deformation volume(vertical, horizontal) is generally minimal and the site condition is good. But loss of measuring instrument, sensor cable failure or cutting is taken place frequently due to significant change of ground behavior caused by an external force change(embankment, excavation) under very soft ground condition(N value below 0-4). In case of the marine works, in particular, loss rate of measuring instrument is highly represented due to the factors of working barge anchoring, constructional interference and natural disaster. In order to solve these problems, measuring management was performed with employing underground wireless system at the immersed tunnel site. Measuring data was obtained freely under the marine environment by using underground wireless communication and cable cutting potential by ground behavior could be reduced. Measuring cost savings and its installation convenience were maximized by way of off-shore tower installation or cabling and by minimizing constructional interference of off-shore working barge. This case of measuring management was accomplished successfully.

  • In this paper, design approach of PID controller with rejection function against external disturbance in motor control system is proposed using bacterial foraging based optimal algorithm. Up to the present time, PID Controller has been used to operate for AC motor drive because of its implementational advantages in practice and simple structure. However, it is not easy to achieve an optimal PID gain with no experience, since the gain of the PID controller has to be manually tuned by trial and error in the industrial system with disturbance. To design disturbance rejection tuning, disturbance rejection conditions based on $H_{\infty}$ are illustrated and the performance of response based on the bacterial foraging is computed for the designed PID controller as ITSE (Integral of time weighted squared error). Hence, parameters of PID controller are selected by bacterial foraging based optimal algorithm to obtain the required response

  • The Home network system means that information appliances, Home PCs, etc., using wired or wireless network method enable to control and share with peripheral devices such as internet, shared data, a scanner and a printer, and it is networking solution, which intelligent communication will be possible as the system which can do a remote control such as TV Set, refrigerators, air conditioners, DVD players, digital camcorders based on external network using an internet, a potable information terminal and a mobile phone whenever, wherever and freely. In this study, the home network interface solution is used one of the wired network standards, PLC (Power-Line Communication) technology, so we can construct of intelligent home network's home controller without re-build a network at home. On keeping with current waves of thought, we will focus on a home controller development with great interest which is enabled to do an effective managed control, applying intelligent home network technology which can be new paradigm like a cyber apartment.
